24000 years ago the oni-guardians from ancient Japan is in a battle with the dark alliance in a war. The dark alliance (unnamed), their boss named Gouki the experienced evil Oni-master terrorized the human world because of his dark past. The oni-guardians sealed Gouki into the hidden abyss, that’s in the past. But now the seal is broken. Gouki’s plan is to absorb the life energies of people, living animals and the nature of the earth to make it as his evil world.
The descendants of the guardians been chosen to rewrite history and they become “Mystic Sentai Oni-Rangers”.
The Oni-Rangers are the new generation after the ancient warriors the ninjas Kakuranger, Hurricanger and samurais Shinkangers defeated the dark alliances from the past. Now there are the new warriors ready to defeat the new dark alliance today.
Characters
Ein Kiyoshi / Oni-Red: Ein is very serious, arrogant and proud. He sometimes being reckless fighting enemies by himself, even the enemies are too great he won’t lose. He works as a finder doing odd jobs of fetching things. Oni-Red controls the element of fire.

Kasumi Aoi / Oni-Blue: Kasumi is a pure kind-hearted girl. She works as a gardener with her cousin in a flower shop. Her hobbies are swimming and surfing. Oni-Blue controls the element of water.

• Gear: Oni-Changer, Winger
• Oni-Beast: Oni Blue Shallow
Elliot Ryoma / Oni-Yellow: Elliot is a smart member of the team. He’ s very confident, serious and sometimes fights with Ein. He works as a scientist student at University. Oni-Yellow controls the element of earth.

• Gear: Oni-Changer, Winger
• Oni-Beast: Oni Yellow Lion
