Is it just me or did jungle fury made no continuity references? I don't mind it being self contained but even when Teams don't have team ups they usually make a reference or two.
Like ninja Storm, they say that Power Rangers were comic books like the ninja turtles did in space. Also I read somewhere that they made reference to Triforia.
Mystic Force also had reference as Piggy showed up to show links between MF and SPD. Also Rita as a source of good magic.
Other season usually don't have to as they have team ups to show continuity.
But is this just me?
I still liked the season but I just noticed this. (I'm weird, I know)

Well RJ mentions the morphing grid ;) lol

Yeah but the morphing grid has always existed, I think. Even if they don't always mention it.

Isn't that the meaning of Continuity lol
if it's a constant between 1 or more seasons, that would be the tie in

They don't mention it in most seasons nowadays. I wonder why...

There's still the issue of RJ's "connection", the never-named Somebody who tapped the Grid in the first place...I think they deliberately left it open for the fans to speculate, but it's obviously someone from a previous Ranger generation.
Fans would love for it to be Tommy or Billy or whoever, but I think it's more likely to have been Cam or Hailey or Andrew Hartford.

Billy is obvious as hell, and people often fail to forget that he's not even on Earth anymore.
Tommy doing it is just a hilarious fanboy joke seeing as he wasn't even the one that created the powers in Dino Thunder. It was Hayley.
It's not Hayley because she only did it because she was a close friend of Tommy. I don't think Hayley went to grad school with RJ. It's important because Hayley probably wouldn't create random powers for people unless she had known them for a long time.
Andrew Hatford actually created powers already, Cam didn't. In fact Cam is even less likely than Hayley.
Ok it could be argued that like Hayley has no connection with RJ, neither has Andrew that we know of. But remember that Hayley created the powers for her friend who was the mentor of a team, Andrew didn't do that. He was the mentor and created the powers, so it wasn't like he had to have a fixed connection to himself.
But it's all just assumption. And in the end, RJ's "mystery connection" is probably the person you'd least expect it to be.
Yeah, that's right... Master Tao.
Think about it.

Maybe we'll find out if there is a team up. Just like how the Wild Force team up filled in some of the Time Force plot holes.

Yes in Ninja Storm Dustin mentions how he was a fan and thought they were only in comic books,
if you go along those lines as continuity the when Theo reveals he was a fan and always wanted to be a power ranger since he was a little kid, wouldn't that also be continuity?

Maybe it was Miss Fairweather who created the Jungle Fury Morphers, maybe RJ new someone who was a stunt flier with Joel, who married Miss Fairweather, can't remember how convaluted the connection was.

Id give it about 80 percent that it was Andrew, because he did tap into the morhping grid to connect the morphers to the grid. usually when continuity references are made, its usually always just to the previous season never further unless there is a death within the PR or Super Sentai Community that effects PR will you see a longer connection such as Rita as the Mystic Mother.

Ah but they never said who it was, if they had mentioned it in show it would almost certainly been Mr Hartford, as they didn't it could be anyone, it could even be Bulk. Okay that might be a stretch.
