Hi Guys,
This is the Official "Power Rangers in Space" movie style guide. Go to http://www.flashranch.com/PR/ to see photos. I had it on Ebay but it didn't get done. It's a 2" thick ring binder, B&W and color pages showing how each character and vehicle from the movie should be drawn. This is what the Studio puts out to show how the characters have to look for Licensed Property usage. There are also 180 35mm slide production stills. Shots of cast and scenes. This is the cool part! Some may be dupes. Overall condition is very good, some pages may have come loose from their place. I have no idea how many the Studio had made of these. If anyone is interested give me a shout.

Wow this is a huge find, insted of trying to sell it for profit (which i know alot of us need) u should share the entire book with the ranger fandom

In better economic times I probably would.... Selling it because I need to raise some $$$. I have these for lot's of the properties my Studio worked with. Batman, Superman, Star Wars, Jonny Quest, WB Looney tunes. I thought somebody here might be interested. If a group of you are interested that's OK with me. I'd be glad to kick back some to your board if I can find a buyer. The Slides are really good. Sometimes they just have anyone shoot the costuming and prop shots for movies... But a bunch of these are really done well by a Pro.

And you say these were for a scrapped power rangers movie? I tell you what...I'm sure if you release the stuff to the ranger fandom, espeshily here, we'd all...or at least some of us would be willing to pull a fund raiser in your honer, that's more likely then someone paying for the book itself even though its such an incredible find.....though i see the batman and starwars ones selling...I know i'd take part in the fund raiser even if it were just to spread the word

Power Rangers in Space was not a movie. It was a TV series during 1998. LOL. There's rumors that there was suppose to be a movie, but nothing ever happened with that.
Also, they did release a VHS titled Power Rangers in Space as a "feature film" which only contained the first 3 or 4 episodes of the series...

This may have been for international release.... But here is the poster for it.http://www.flashranch.com/PR/images.jpg
My studio didn't do anything for TV, we were features only.... A lot of what we did went overseas.... But this was all in english. I just presumed it was a feature because of the poster. IMDB says 30 minute episodes so you must be right. Come to think of it... the Superman and Batman stuff we did was for the animated TV series. So we did do stuff for TV shows as well.
We were designing Tazos for Frito Lay Int. (like Pogs) There were 2D and 3D lenticular versions.
Thanks for the info!

That picture is from the first Power Rangers movie - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie from 1995 - no connection to Power Rangers in Space except for it's season 6 of the series, where that poster and movie are based on season 2 of the Power Rangers series.
You can also tell by the pictures of the guide you posted and then of the movie poster - the helmets/suits aren't even the same. :\

This my friend is why i'm saying its such a great find, and no one wants to risk it falling in to the hands of someone (fan, collector or other wise) who will stash it away never to be heard from again

Hi Guys, When we would start one of these projects we might need 100 images. So when they sent us the style guide we might be short of enough images.... then they would start sending us slides... It appears in going over them that the slides are from different series. I hadn't looked at any of it in about 8 years. The are somewhere between 160-180 slides. Here are some examples. http://www.flashranch.com/PR/pr_02.html
I was asking $275 on ebay.

Still, it would be a nice addition for any PR fan. I wish I had the money I would surely pick it up. *sigh*
