Spin off, canon?

Do you view the other series that are spin offs or not sentai but featured as part of PR canon? Like TMNT: the Next Mutation which also bring the TMNT as part of canon, Masked Rider, and whatever else that has been shown to be in the PR universe?

TMNT: I just ignore that episode. Putting the Ninja Turtles in the PR universe was just stupid. However, if you accept everything that appears on the show as part of the PR universe, regardless, then it would make sense to consider The Next Mutation as taking place in the PR universe.

Masked Rider: This show is officially not part of PR canon. The show does not take place in the PR universe any more than the MMPR movie does, and for the same reason. A certain event that occurred at the very end of "A Friend in Need Part 2" was majorly rewritten for its appearance in the first MR episode. In AFiN, Count Dragon decided to invade Earth because of the Power Rangers. In the first MR episode, his reasons are completely different. In fact, there was never even a single reference to MMPR in the whole series. When they started making Masked Rider, they obviously decided to make it its own show, severing any connections to MMPR. That doesn't mean that Dex and Dregon don't exist in the PR universe, just that all we've ever seen of them is in that 2-parter. And of course that leaves a big loose end (Dregon declaring an invasion on Earth). Fanfiction, anyone? ;)

And that's it, really. Nothing else shown on PR is featured in any other show.

I can see the next mutation as more canon then masked rider. The turtles are alll the was in new york so they never really get bothered by rangers as they are all over the rest of the world.

As for masked rider. The 3 parter with him and the rangers is the only canon Masked Rider. The series itself I think has it's own self continiuity. If the show wasn't cancelled and it went on to do another season or tow then saban probably would have made another crossover.

Obviously TMNT did exist in the PR universe. In fact, in season 1 of MMPR, Shellshock (The Trouble With Shellshock) makes a reference to them. So, when they actually put them in PR, I really wasn't surprised, to be honest with you.
