How would you all feel about a remake condensation and expansion of the PR universe?

There is plenty of stuff that is still there to look at, such as the original battle between Rita and Zordon, The Morphing Masters, and Ninjor creating the power coins.

Like wise there is a lot of fluff in the series...

I think it would be a cool idea if they made a movie or TV series that consisted of the following...

1) The Morphing Masters.
2) Rita & Zordon's fight and imprisonment.
3) The Power Rangers receiving the Power coins, power weapons, power crystals, and the zords.
4) The Green with evil series.
5) The Green Candle, Doomsday, and Return of an Old Friend
6) Mutiny, Green No More, and White Light
7) Ninja Encounter, Monster of Global Proportions, and Power Transfer
8) The Wedding, Return of the Green Ranger, and Wild West Rangers
9) Ninja Quest
10) Potion Notion, Changing of the Zords, Different Shade of Pink

I would list more but I am unsure of good breaks beyond this point as I'm rewatching the series and watch all of it to present over the next few weeks, but I think if broken up like this it would be really awesome...though after #10 it would get a bit weird as it would start shifting costumes too much I think, but if we're remakeing the series a completely western series it would be easier to to keep them relatively close >.>

I had a dream like that once,...something close Zordon was human (well in human form dressed in white and had some kinda shiled..and this is way before even season 2 so I certianly didn't know about sentai lol) and in a cave..but some how an older zack was there...that's all i remember of the dream

I also remember before power rangers even came on tv. this was 92..and i've told no one about this...I had a dream of bulk and skull coming to my window..and goldar (movie looking form flying outside my window and tangu warriors were flying beside him...some how i knew something epic was going to happen...but I couldn't explain it..this memory has come back to me several times)

What do u make of this?

I would enjoy seeing some kind of origin movie about the battles between Zordon and Rita.

Maybe Evil Green Ranger is a mystic seer.

I personally think that if they redid the series like that. they would need to upgrade Rocky to the Dairanger Red - Adam Green - Aisha Yellow - and the like.

Did you do that on MGI Photosuite 3?

I was thinking of an idea of not a TV remake, but rather a fan fic/novel remake with maybe a 21st century twist showing how the original MMPR series could have been like if it happened around this time.

I think a remake of the series up to the end of in space would probably be better mainly because that entire set of series is plagued with stuff that controlled what happened outside of the writers, if there are any, hands

MMPR s1's second half was almost completely rewritten to include Tommy and the Green Ranger
MMPR s2 had to deal with Tommy being there and losing his powers while still being a fan favorite and once they did 3 actors quit which dictated the direction of the next 1/6th of the series..
MMPR s3 had to deal with using footage from like 4 different sources instead of just 2 like in s1 and much of the story was dictated by Amy Jo leaving.
Zeo's and Turbo's story was altered because of what they did to David Yost
Turbo was again altered by kick all of Zeo's cast off by a new director
and In Space ended the series because I think Saban sold the series to Disney that season and he wanted to finish his story and make it less marketable for disney >.>

So most if not all of the franchise was dictated by outside sources which greatly left a lot of pieces looking like they just randomly appeared instead of built up or taken care of in a good way.

I'd want to see in a move, all loose ends tied up. Every loose end ever made tied up.

Like maybe we'd find out that Auric was sitting in a museum now and Ninjor knew of the location of the Ninja and Shogun zords and was now maybe teaching carefully chosen students at his temple to defend the world or something.

I'd also like to see more about each villain's species, what planet each of them come from and also why they became evil. If they remade Countdown To Destruction, I would like to see an extended scene of the energy wave and show exactly what happened to all those not seen in this scene. Maybe a few lesser villains finally came to their senses and turned their back on the United Alliance Of Evil at the last minute and I'd also like to see what happened to those that did not appear in these episodes. (e.g, Scorpina, Rito)

I think they showed Rito.

No they didn't. Rito hasn't been seen since the end of Zeo because the costume fell apart.
