So I guess this counts as my intro post to Rangertalk!

Here's what I'm posting on the boards:

In what I'm hoping is the first of several MMPR era interviews I'm currently conducting for the fandom, Dave Mallow (Baboo in MMPR, Angemon in Digimon) has graciously stepped forward to interact with the fans.

Here's what he posted to me last night:

"Those early years of Power Rangers do seem like a long time ago. That's likely because they WERE a long time ago. Barbara Goodson came over just yesterday to record an audition to be emailed and we talked about the way the show fell together. We actually didn't audition for our parts. As we were part of the (then) fairly small group of Saban VAs, our parts for the pilot presentation were just given to us. Like that would ever happen these days!

Sure, feel free to shoot me some questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Keep in mind that you guys often know a lot more about these shows than we do. . especially the voice clones that showed up, read a few lines and then ran screaming into the night."

and....

"I've forwarded your invitation to Barbara, Michael Sorich and our sound supervisor/producer guy. . Scott Page-Pagter. Maybe you'll hear from them. Whenever you're ready, just shoot some questions my way. No guarantees. . . but I'll do my best. . ."

and....

"Shawn..

Barbara 'Rita' Goodson says she'd be glad to take part. At this point, however, you may have to send the questions to me. I'd forward them to her and eventually send you her answers. I'm trying to convince her it's easy to set up an alternate email address at yahoo, etc. . so these lengths may not be necessary.

But one way or another. . . she's in. . "

In all, in the wings I have:

Dave Mallow
Michael Sorich
Barbara Goodson
Wendee Lee
Walter Jones
Kerrigan Mahan
Scott Page-Pagter

Dave & Barbara will be the first to get back with us, but I'm acutally hoping to add to this list fairly soon. We may have to wait a little longer for some of the others, but we can still get a decent amount of quality questions gathered.

Update from Kerrigan!

"Shawn,

Been very busy with much. Happy to accommodate. Let me know how you would like to proceed. Maybe a combo plate. I would also be open to selling signed 8 X 10 photos of me and or Goldar. Let me know.

Kerrigan"

I mean, WHOA. Questions, people!

Here's my question.

Here is my question

"Was their any tension on the set between any of the cast and crew?"

Do you have a website where you are going to put it on?

You know in all the excitment, I forgot to set up my profile for the board! Yes, they'll be added onto Force Factor Entertainment at www.ffe.250m.com

It'll be in the "Behind the Helmets" section. I want to give about a week to get in some more questions though. Keep them coming, guys!

Here's my question:

"Were you ever part of one of Jason David Frank's pranks?"

How much is Kerrigan asking for the autographed photos of him and "Goldar"?

This question is for Barbara:
Did portraying Rita's voice put a lot of strain on your normal speaking voice?

I don't really have a question currently for any of them as of now. What i would really like to say to Barbara, Dave, and Kerrigan is just a big shout out from Puerto Rico from Francisco (aka E.K.) and that i love all the fabulous work i've heard from every one of them so thanks a million for making my childhood a very fun one hearing their versatile voices.:) I would like to tell Kerrigan that i still have to this day a VHS tape of the Streamline dub of the Lensman movie in which i believe he played the main character part of Kim Kinnison. I also highly commend Dave's narrating work in the dub for the original Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy that i also have to this day on VHS. Why the dub was never released on DVD (supposedly, only the sub version was put on DVD) i don't know and maybe this could serve as my first question to Dave if he knew about that unfortunate issue and what his feelings on that are. I know it ain't exactly a PR question but it's a start.;)
