Power Rangers: Dino Thunder (S2)

As the operation overdrive rangers teamed up with Adam, Kira, Xander, Bridge, and Tori, they were able to defeat Thrax and his evil ways. And along the way they retrieved some help from Alpha 6, who was able to restore the morphing grid. But while doing so, he accidently restored most of all the power rangers' powers. In doing so, the Overdrive rangers were able to defeat their enemies, and no sooner retired to their normal lives. But meanwhile....

Lothor had escaped from Mesagog's lair after the Dino rangers destroyed it. Five years have passed and he made a trip into space and gathered himself a new team and alliances. He was more powerful than ever. And along with the previous opening from the abis of evil, his recent allies Vexacus & Motodrone were able to escape like him, without the Ninja rangers knowledge. The three have teamed up, and now plan to finish their mission.

Meanwhile Kira has returned to Reefside, where she recently finished her CD and has returned to visit her old ranger friends. With her recent adventure with the Overdrive clan, her gem was now re-energized. But during her stay, she and Dr.O discovered that Alpha really did restore almost all of the power rangers' powers. Then Dr.O learned of Lothor's return and decided that it was time to recruit a new team, and bring the Dino Thunder Rangers back into Action!

Ch1- A Dino Legacy prt1


Tommy walked into his home. It was simple and plain. But its contents were not ordinary. He parked his black jeep. He opened the door to his home and found his previous students Kira sitting on the couch. She gave him a friendly hug.

“Its great to see you Dr.O. Were you able to gather the gems?”

“Yes, though I have to admit it was hard to get Ethan, with him traveling all
over the place I finally just told him to mail it to me.” He handed her a package. She opened it up and took out a crushed blue gem. She took his case and placed inside with the three other gems waiting to be revived.

“Kira, why don’t we take this downstairs?”

“Yea, Haley is already down there preparing the morphers.”

“I’m so glad Adam brought alpha back. I can’t believe he revived everyone’s powers. Even my ol’ white and green ranger coins were fixed.”

“I’m glad to hear that, but since Lothor’s return, I think it’s up to us. We and the ninja rangers know him better than anyone else.”

“Have contacted any of the them?”

“I spoke to Dustin, but he said they locked away their morphers, so they would never get into the wrong hands. None of them know where sensei hid them. Leaving it to us.”

“I see, well, I’m glad you were able to come out here and help.”

“Please Dr.O, it wasn’t a big deal.”

They finally reached they rebuilt base and Haley was at the computer. She turned and gave Kira and Tommy a welcoming hug. She led them over to the desk.

“It’s great to see you two. Lothor’s been on the move according to this.” She showed them the evil activity growing. “And according to this he has brought back some old friends who apparently escaped from the abyss around the same time we did. Which explains why they went off the charts when he returned. It was just him sending that signal off, but his allies too.”

“Good, job Haley.” Tommy said to her. “Are the bracelets ready?”

“Yep, here you go.” She handed him a silver case. Five bracelets sat in a position. Tommy had never been so happy. His hard work in finding the gems had never backed down on him. They were useful again. He closed it and set it down, “Now to find 5 others who can take up the challenge….”

Abby sat on her desk tapping her yellow Pikachu pen. She kept looking at the clock. Her science class had had a sub all week. Apparently Dr.O was sick. The sub continued on her lecture and Abby was seconds away from pulling her hair out. “Dr.O was so much more fun…” she thought to herself.
Two minutes….one minute…RING!

Abby grabbed her stuff and dashed out the door. She raced down the halls and into the lunch area. She met up with her friend Gale and the two headed off to a table where a few others were. She set down her stuff and pulled out a deck. Each of the other students did the same. She then drew the top card. A dragon like creature presented itself on the card and Abby placed it on the table. The other kids did the same. But only each of them had something different on their card.

“Hah!” she cried out to Gale. “My millennium dragon beat you all the way!”
“Hah, you are getting better at this game every day!”

“Thanks,” she smiled and three other guys took back their card. They were out of the game. They kids went about this game until the bell rang. Abby won that lunch round and as she left, she cried out “I’m getting myself a new deck today. Let’s see how it goes tomorrow!” She smiled and went of to her next class, Math.

Jason was the first to enter his class room. His was always the first one, his grades mattered to him and football did as well. He was aiming for a scholarship to Reefside for football. Sports were his life. He looked around and watched the other students pile in. he saw the girl with multi highlights come in and sit next to him. He hated assigned seating. If he had had the choice he would have gone for the little blonde cheerleader sitting next to Kyle, his old elementary school friend. He never did know what happened to the two of them. They apparently y just found different interests in different things.

The teacher came in with her McDonald’s ice coffee and began to write equations on the board. Jason started to take notes, but the girl, Abby, was texting away next to him. He hated it when she did that. The clicking noise irritated him, a lot. Finally he had enough; he turned to her and whispered,

“Hey do you think you can do that later? It’s kind of annoying.” She nodded and put her blackberry phone away. She was a cute girl, but nowhere near his type. He was a jock, and she was the high school gamer. She would after school go home and play dungeons and dragons and whatever else all day long. At least, that was what he had heard. He believed it, he’d seen her during lunch and what she did with her friends. Jason found it awkward.

A half an hour passed and they were assigned book work with a partner. Strangely he was paired with Kyle. The two of them hadn’t spoken in almost 6 years….

Kyle was paired with his dreaded ex-best friend Jason. Kyle hated math in the first place. But most of all he hated the jocks. Kyle had to admit he was jealous of Jason, but at the same time wanted nothing to do with the sport life. Kyle just lived life to the fullest. He was daredevil and wasn’t afraid of anything. He skateboarded for fun and hung with his buddies and ditched the homework.

Kyle made his way over to Jason. The two stared at each other. Finally, Jason spoke.

“Well, I guess we better get started. You do evens and I do odds?” Kyle nodded in agreement and the two went to work in silence.

Ch1- A Dino Legacy prt2


It was a new day and the sun shined upon Abby’s face. Her alarm went off and ruined her nice sleep. She hated school, though she slowly climbed out of bed and got dressed. She combed her messy and tangled hair and made her to the kitchen. He mother shook her head. “You aren’t really going to wear that to school?” Abby looked at herself. She wore ripped jeans and a band t-shirt with sneakers. “What’s wrong with it?” “How about you wear some of the nice things that I buy you? Like that nice yellow dress. It would darling on you.” “Well I still think it would look better on a Hippo. Later ma’ ” she called out as she headed out the door, eating a pop tart.

As she arrived at the school, she pulled into the parking lot. Next to her pulled up Jason, her least favorite person I the school, and on the other side Dr.O. “Hey he’s back!” She exclaimed. She got out of her car and went over to him. “Hey it’s great to see you again. Where the heck were you?” “Sick,” he slowly muttered. “If you don’t mind, I kind of have some things that I need to do.” “Right,” she said to him as he left. She turned her heal as well and met up with her friends.

Jason pulled up to the school. The last spot left was next to Abby. He took it. He got out and her kissing up to the teacher. “Kissing up is not the way to go…” he mumbled privately. He gathered his things and made his way to his friends. They talked for a while and then made their way to each of their classes. As Jason made his way to his, he claimed himself a seat and placed his binder down. “Now, look who it is! Dr.O!” “Hey Jason. How are you?” “I’m great. It’s great to have you back.” “Good,” he looked to the class. “Alrighty guys, I’m sorry I have been gone, but hopefully that won’t happen again. Something came up and I had to leave for a bit. Now… did anyone do the assignment the sub asked of you?”
“Assignment!!!!” Jason’s eyes shot out. He totally forgot! How could he? He looked around. A few others he could tell forgotten as well. “Dr.O sighed as only all but three assignments were turned in. Dr.O shook his head. “Jason…Abby… and Kyle. Please if you don’t mind turning in your projects after school to my house. Thank you.” Jason could tell he wasn’t impressed. “Sorry…” he mumbled but Tommy didn’t hear.

Kyle looked up sleepily from his chair as he heard Dr.O call out his name. “How much is it worth?” Tommy shook his head. “Oh, well about half you grade at this point in the year.” Kyle rolled his eyes. Now he would have to spend half of his lunch in the library working on it. He needed to pass, he was failing the class. As the class ended, he resumed to his other classes then later made his way into the library. Jason and Abby were there too. “What your excuse?” he asked Abby.

Abby looked at him. “Well… I was sleeping. Didn’t get too much this weekend.” “I know what you mean. I went to my friends’ party and got drunk. Was dead like all Sunday.” “Party?” Kyle looked at the two. “Why are you so surprised? You are never invited to parties.” “I know that,” she snapped back. “Maybe you should let me finish my sentence before you butt in Jerk.”

Kyle shut himself up and went back to work. Kyle did the same. Abby looked at them, rolled her eyes and completed her assignment within minutes. As she printed it out, Kyle looked at her in amazement. “How’d you do it so fast?” “I have my own website, and I’m on the computer like all the time. So you get pretty good with a keyboard.”

Kyle looked at her, “Or playing video games all day and night.” She shot him a nasty look. “You say what now?” “You heard me!”

“SHH!” The librarian shushed them. “Be quiet please!”

Abby ignored her, “Why you always hating on me? What did I ever do to you?” She punched him in the jaw and left the library. Kyle sat there laughing so hard he fell off the chair. Kyle touched his jaw and massaged it a bit. “Hoe…” he muttered.

Kyle and Jason soon finished their work as well and left in silence. Though everything they looked at one another Kyle couldn’t help but laugh. It was the greatest thing he ever saw in his life.

Jason walked up to Dr.O’s front door. Abby no further behind him and Jason not too far from her, who was now trying to hide his bruised up jaw. Abby glared at him. Kyle snickered. But then Tommy opened the door and let them in. A blonde woman was in the hallway and welcomed them. “I’m Katherine. Please have seat on the couch. I will be done soon with Tommy.” They nodded and watched the two adults leave. Abby took a seat and placed her work on the table. Kyle and Jason did the same. “So…” Kyle said, “Abby, how’s that card game you play?” “Terror Mack? It’s tight. Though I am getting bored with it. I’m getting bored with it all. I need a new hobby.” Kyle rolled his eyes, “You sure do.” He muttered. They sat what felt like forever. Finally Kyle got bored and walked around the room. He examined a mini T-rex skeleton and touched it gently. A door slid open.

Abby jumped and landed on Jason, shocked from the piano next to her moved. She realized she was on him and got off immediately. Kyle looked at them. “Well I don’t know about you guys, but I’m going in there.” “Are you crazy!” Jason blurted out. “Dr.O will be back anytime now.” “He’s right.” Abby couldn’t believe that she just said that. Kyle ignored them and went through the secret entrance.

Abby and Jason were forced to follow. As they entered, Kyle’s eyes were immediately drawn to a silver case. He opened it. Meanwhile, Abby and Jason were fascinated with the mysterious room. “Wo…”
Kyle opened the case. Five bracelets sat before him and one snapped onto his wrist. “Hey!” he cried out. Abby and Jason came over as well. The same happened to them. “Watch it!”

“What are these things?” Abby questioned? Just then they heard footsteps above them….
