“By the year 23rd Century Time Travel has been discovered in its most basic form. Some would want this power for good, others for evil. After a large time paradox time travel has been outlawed, probably won’t happen for who knows how long. But that didn’t stop them, an organisation known as Kyt Enterprises set up a project…Project Kagix. It was designed to make Travellers; beings that could travel in time by there own will and supposedly destroy it. The original experiment was completed with the added addition of super strength. More Travellers were created, five more to be exact. Through skill, planning and eventually just luck five escaped. We have now sworn to protect the time stream from other Travellers, Travellers who left unchecked could rip reality wide open. The year is 2219, my name is Chris Kagix, we are the Travellers.”
“Whatever you think you know forget it. Time Travel is possible; created by some super scientists to rule the world. Five escaped, five Travellers. I wanted to as well, and I did, the worlds all mine, every single second of it. The year is 2219, my name is Legend, it’s my time.”
One - Travel
Chapter One – Brawl
Flashback – Year: 2217 – Location: The Time Stream
The time stream, an endless sea with no floor, reaching out to all you can see, blinding colours at every turn. You can run into people a lot here, but today all you sea is five people. Three men and two women, Chris Kagix, Jack Reese, Kyle James, Kate Connor and Kylie Harper. A small grey device with three buttons on the middle, white, black and silver, with a black strap coming out of it, is attached to each of the fives wrists. Then they start…sparking. There glowing, drawing energy into them, each one is a different colour. There drawing energy from the time stream, changing, becoming better. The sparks begin to turn into light and surround the five and they all look around, in more shock now. After a couple of seconds the light explodes, flashing colours everywhere.
Two Years Later – Present Day – Year: 2219 Location: Flints Bar
It’s Present Day (Your know what I mean). Chris Kagix is now in a bar, he takes a drink handed to him by the bartender. He looks sad, lost in thought. Said thought is interrupted by large bang, then a zoom and finally footsteps. A grey portal appears in the middle of the room, stepping out is man in black pants, a grey shirt with a black L near the heart, a long black coat and finally a mask. The mask looks relatively harmless; it’s really just a Halloween skeleton mask. But combined with the entrance it sent most of the room running, one man actually jumping through a nearby window. Chris is unimpressed, he looks at his drink and then at the man. Even through the mask you can see his eyes glowing grey. The man is Legend, Chris stares directly into his eyes, his own begin to glow red. But before Chris and Legend can even move they are interrupted. Legend is knocked back by a large blast of…pink laser?
Seeing where the blast came from Legends finds his way to a girl wielding two high tech guns, just a few years of from current time(Again, you know what I mean). Looking around he sees three people besides Chris and Kylie, dressed in blue, green and yellow. Then Chris makes his move, approaching the unsuspecting Legend, his eyes glowing red. As he makes his way to Legend he raises his arm and with tremendous force punches Legend through a wall of the building.
“Impressive, but not very original.” Legend remarks getting up from the blow with ease.
“How’s this then!?” A blue blur says as he quickly makes his way over to Legend. Jack tackles Legend to the ground, punching him in the face at super speed. Legend grabs Jack and brings him to the ground punching him in the face a few times, head butting him an with super strength throwing him through an already smashed window. This all happens in a matter of seconds to the view of anyone else.
“That’s even worse; you wouldn’t even BELIEVE how many of the super-fast I’ve killed.” Legend says smiling, a grey portal appears and out of it comes a grey dagger.
Legend charges at Kyle, who dodges the slashes. “And what do you do?” Legend mockingly asks before stabbing Kyle in the arm. He twists the dagger and removes it, smiling evilly as he sees blood come out. His expression changes though when the blood appears to be sucked back into the arm, the wound sealed with no mark.
“Healing Gene. Familiar, but useful. Let’s see what your limits are.” Legend prepares to “test” Kyle when he suddenly feels a strain on his mind. He turns around to see Kate Connor, concentrating. In his previous experiences Legend was easily able to think of what she was doing. He then concentrating through the pain and eventually Kate herself began to drop to her knees in pain, mental pain.
“Telepathy works off of strength of the mind. You’re weak!” Legend remarks, he turns to looks at Kylie, still holding her guns. “Think fast.” Legend says evilly quickly throwing his dagger at Kylie. Thinking fast Kylie manages to phases, the dagger digging into the wall. “Well you’ve got the most original one here, but potentially the most useless.”
Looking around the, now near destroyed, room Legend turns to the five with a sarcastic question, “So what o you do now?”. The five now get together, appearing either through speed or portal but ultimately they stand in a row. Chris in the middle, Jack on his right, Kyle on his let, Kate next to Jack and Kylie on the end. They stand united and each raise there hands, revealing the devices from the flashback, now each coloured in red, blue, green, yellow and pink. “This.” Chris says looking at Legend.
“Strength of the past and knowledge from the future combine, We call upon the power of time. We are…THE TRAVELLERS!”
A different coloured time portal opens behind each Traveller, red for Chris, blue for Jack, green for Kyle, yellow for Kate and Pink for Kylie. The portals begins to send energy to the devices, which begin to spar different colours (This starting to seem familiar). The energy begins to turn to light and eventually surround the Travellers in their respective colours. The red light form Chris looks at Legend, who remains quit throughout this. “We are the Travellers.” Blue light Jack then begins to laugh, shouting out, “And we’re about to go BOOM!”
True to Jack's word (And the flashback), the Travellers explode in an explosion of colour, blowing some wreckage towards Legend who simply stands there. As the coloured smoke clears you now see the Travellers, but now they are different, they are wearing coloured suit with helmets.
Legend just stands there smiling, for once in this fight impressed. But there was no time to think about that as in a matter of seconds a black blur rushes out and in to the room. “Impressive. But did you really think I came here to fight you? Of course not, I just got what I wanted.” Legend says, holding up a small stone.
“What?” Kyle says confused.
“Another time Travellers, but for now goodbye.” Legend says, slowly dropping into a grey portal, disappearing through time.
“NO! He got away.” Kate says angrily.
“Maybe…” Chris remarks having pulled Legends dagger out of the wall, his costume breaks away like glass as he holds it up, “But he’s left something behind.”
“The clues to who he is are everywhere. His dagger, the damage, fingerprints among other things. But what he want, what that was. That’s a different story. Why we were here when he showed up? Coincidence, strange but they happen. From what I saw, Legend is like us, and of the bad kind, so we ne to know who he is, and what he wants.”
