Kamen Rider: Last Knight Standing

Episode 1.1
Unleashed

Robert Clark sat in his apartment and ran his hand through medium length silver dyed hair. He was at his research station, which held multiple computers and devices, and looked through his one of his folders, labeled RIDERS. He took out a small hard drive and plugged it into the USB station as a program started to run. On the screen was a map of the world with numerous dots, some big and some small.

“Okay, time to add this one to the files” he said, running the icon over Chicago and left clicking two times as a large black dot appeared on the city. “That’s the last one that I have data on.” The man looked over the map, first to New York City, his home, and then down to Washington D.C. “I’ll get to her later; she doesn’t seem like a threat.”

Next was Miami as he smiled. “I wonder how Cynthia’s doing” Robert pondered aloud as he clicked on the dot and a picture of a young woman with long brunette hair and green eyes came up. She was wearing a lime green halter top and tight blue jeans, and had a microphone in hand. “She better not be spending too much of her time trying to be a Britney Spears wannabe; that wont happen for a few years” he said in an insulting tone. “Just do your job, and we’ll try to work something out at the end.”

After looking at more people, from Sydney, Australia to Nairobi, Kenya, to Los Angeles, he finally focused his eyes on one specific location: Las Vegas. He clicked on the dot and two pictures filled the screen. One was of a man with short brown hair, and the other a man with spiky black hair gelled up. “Tristan and Alex, you better two better be having fun now, because it will soon end.” Robert smiled sadistically as he walked over to a file cabinet and unlocked a drawer, taking out a navy belt with silver wings as the buckle and strapped it on. “Time to take the first two out.”

“Here you go” a 24 year old with short brown hair said as he fished out two beers from the ice and gave them to a man. Tristan collected the mans tab for the evening and put it into a drawer, watching the people on the floor dance. “Only a half hour left until I can have some fun” he said to himself as he quickly fixed a drink for another customer before cleaning a glass and talking to a friend who was sitting down.

“So I was watching this show on Discovery, don’t know why, last night, and it says that the Earth’s core has been sending out some seismic waves” the guy said. “I mean, how crazy is that?” Tristan smiled and nodded at the comment. “Well I don’t think it’s that crazy, their basically earthquakes, right?” he asked. “That’s the thing dude; the show said that there were no rocks hitting each other. It’s sort of like a paranormal thing that is controlled by other forces.”

“Were you perhaps high when you watched this?” Tristan questioned with a laugh. “Hey, I quit when I got a job with that corporation.” He paused to take a drink and signaled to another bartender to come over. This one was a little more muscular than Tristan. “Alex, could there be a reason other than earthquakes for the earth to send out seismic waves?”

The man with black hair gelled up raised his eyebrows at the question and hesitated to answer. “Well….” he said, looking at Tristan, who quickly shook his head. “No. You’ve been talking a lot about these things recently, what’s up?”

Jim looked around and motioned for the two of them to come in closer. “Okay, all I can say is that my boss believes that the earths core houses unimaginable power, and gives it to some people” he whispered, and then burst out laughing. “God, I can’t believe I work for such idiots. The only reason I took the job was because there was nothing else open.” Jim looked at his watch and cursed. “Shit, I have work to do at home, one of the big shots is thinking of giving me a promotion. See you later guys.” Jim paid his tab and walked away, leaving Tristan and Alex to talk alone.

“Think he knows anything?” Alex asked. “Nah, he just said he doesn’t believe a word they say. Nobody knows about us and they hopefully never will” Tristan said as the clock struck 11:30 PM, signaling that their hours for the night were over. They both said goodnight to the other bartenders and left for the casino floor of The Palms, but Alex stopped and winced, giving a look of concern at his friend, who held his shoulder. “How bad?” Tristan asked, concerned, knowing what was happening. Alex was exhibiting signs of a symptom that he had since he becoming a rider, and they were getting worse as time passed. “About a 90% chance that I won’t transform” he said before taking a deep breath. “I’ll go home just in case. Don’t lose any money, okay?”

“Don’t worry, I have a feeling it’s going to be a good night for me. Keep the lights on downstairs, and call me if something happens” Tristan said as Alex nodded and headed off to his car, while Tristan continued walking towards the floor, and took a quick glance at his red and silver belt that had a Chinese dragon as the buckle. “Ever since you came along, my luck has been better” he said as he heard his contact beast roar in his head.

On the other side of the world sat a middle aged man in his dojo, meditating. Behind him was a golden phoenix. This was Irou Enishi, Kamen Rider Phoenix Knight. He opened up his eyes and quickly jumped up for a man of his age, and grabbed a staff as his body transmitted a golden aura that quickly consumed him before dying down, leaving him in a gold, black, and bronze armored state. The phoenix behind him flew forward as he lept onto it, flying into the sky. “We have come far, haven’t we?” Irou stated. “Yes master, we have in these years” the phoenix said. “Our bond is strong.”

“You are correct. We share more than most riders do. You are more than my contact beast; you are a part of my family” Irou said as they looked over the mountains and down on his house. “My hope is that I don’t lose you, as I believe the war has started.”

“Yes, I can sense it too. It feels like something big is about to happen, what shall we do?”

Irou motioned for his beast to land. “We need to protect the ones with pure souls. I need to warn them.” The man stepped off the back of his partner and held his staff in front of him, looking into it and visualizing 5 individuals. “I am sending them the warning, I hope they heed it.” Irou’s mind powers started to activate, releasing a wave of telepathic energy from the head of the staff. “That is all I can do for now. May the power protect them.”

In Australia, 18 year old Casey Allor was on his surfboard, about to catch a wave when his head started to hurt. “Whoa, what’s happening?” he said as he saw a Japanese man standing in front of him. “Um, who are you, God?”

“No, I am Irou Enishi, and I have a warning for you, Casey Allor”

“How do you know my name?”

“You and I are one of the same” Irou said as he held out a belt, stunning Casey. “Is that?”

“Yes it is. I am a Kamen Rider, just like you. You need to know that a war has started between us riders, but do not fear me. I will not hurt you, as you have a pure soul. I have established a telepathic link between the two of us. You can contact me with your mind now. I must go and warn the others; be safe Crustacean Knight”

Just like that, Casey’s headache was gone, and he was sitting on his surfboard. “Okay, I need a break” he said, paddling back to shore and lying down on a beach towel. He was in a secluded spot of the beach, his own personal surf spot. He was about to fall asleep when his arm was pinched.

“Casey, you need to take that advice seriously.” The long haired blonde teenager looked to his right and saw his contact beast, the Kamen Crab. “I told you not to do that anymore” Casey said. “Master, I know you are inexperienced with this power, but you need to accept that you are now a part of something big.”

“Look, I didn’t ask for this you know, remember the first time we met?”

“Ah yes, you screamed like a girl and punched me, breaking your hand” the beast chuckled, but Casey wasn’t laughing. “You do realize that I could die from this, right?”

“I have some faith that you will win”

“SOME?” Casey yelled, infuriated. “Great, I’m a Kamen Rider and my contact beast doesn’t believe in me. My life was going so nice, good grades, three girlfriends, and a future in pro surfing. But then you came along, and all of that dwindled down from excellent to good. News flash, I don’t like good, I like great!”

“Calm down and listen” the crab said sternly. “If you don’t accept responsibly, innocent people are going to get hurt. Now suck it up and become a man.”

“Whatever, I don’t want to argue, I just want my life to be as good as it was before”

“It can if you win this challenge”

“But wouldn’t that involve me killing others, Mr. Hypocrab?’

“There is more than one way to win this, which is all that I can say.” With that the beast disappeared, leaving Casey to think.

In Washington D.C. Jessica Menunnes was sound asleep in her apartment, having the same dream that she was having for the past week. In it, she was being chased by a black dragon, a cobra, a rhino, a bison, a chameleon, and a bat. She ran as fast as she could, before turning around and throwing her nurse uniform on the ground, revealing a gold and white belt around her waist. With a flash of white light, a circle of energy appeared around her and exploded, leaving her in her rider form as the Swan Knight. She took out a slender sword and charged at the beasts, fighting all of them at once.

This time, she was faring better than before. She jumped over a charge from the rhino and kicked off of its back, flying into the bat and thrusting her sword out, but the bat was too fast, moving away. Jessica landed and saw the chameleon launch its tongue at her, tying her up as all of the beasts transformed into Kamen Riders, ready to destroy her. However, in this dream, she was saved by a wave of golden light that blinded the warriors.

“Stand down” a deep male voice said as Jessica saw her savior, another Kamen Rider that had a phoenix motif. “Jessica, do not be alarmed, this is all just a dream, for now.”

“What do you mean by for now, am I in danger?” she asked while the rider that helped her ran the others off. He raised his staff and made himself and Jessica transform back into their civilian state. Jessica looked at him. He was a Japanese man with long black hair, part of it tied in a ponytail. “This is what the future could hold. I have come to warn you that soon, a war between Kamen Riders will erupt.”

“Then how do I stop it?” she asked.

“I cannot tell you how; you will have to figure that out yourself” the man said before disappearing in a cloud of golden smoke, and Jessica woke up. She opened a drawer up and fumbled through it, until she found her Rider Buckle. “How can I stop it?” she said softly going back to sleep with the powerful item in her hand.

In a suburb of Los Angeles, Emily Smith was looking at herself in the mirror, modeling clothes that she was supposed to promote. She put her hands on her hips and displayed her figure, accentuating the chest area. “Who needs college when I have this?” she said, looking down at her body. It was one of the many reasons she was popular at her high school, the other major one being her dad’s stature as an important politician in her city, Spring Valley. She was about to model another pair when she got a text message.

FROM: JAMIE
R U SLEEPING OVER??

Emily pressed some buttons and sent a message to her best friend, telling her to pick her up in an hour. The blonde went back to modeling her clothes, picking up a dark pink shirt with a silver manta ray on it, and immediately throwing it across the room. “Never going to wear that” she muttered as she looked in the mirror, and gasped at what she saw. “You” she said, shaking her head. “I thought I said I wanted nothing to do with this, and to go away forever.”

The figure shook its head no, and walked out. “Emily, you can’t suppress me forever, the time will come when you will need me.” The teenager backed up onto her bed. “What do you want?” Emily said, trying to get rid of what was in front of her.

“A war is about to erupt, and you are in danger” the figure said.

“No I’m not. I’m not like the others, I don’t care about these powers, I just want them gone” Emily cried. “Get out of my life, and never come back!” she yelled as the figure turned around and sighed. “You will learn your true destiny soon enough. Just protect yourself” the figure warned as it walked back into the mirror, and left a pink and silver belt behind.

The girl picked it up and looked at it. “Yeah, right; like my destiny is to be a Kamen Rider and a freak.” Emily took the belt buckle, a silver ray, and opened her window, throwing it out as far as she could. “At least now I can wear this belt” she giggled.

What she didn’t know was that the buckle was flying through the air, just waiting for the chance to help her.

Robert rode through a neighborhood in his van, looking for his targets house. He was armed with everything he needed for this mission, hoping that it would go perfectly. Soon, he found it; a medium sized brown house on the edge of the street, with tons of trees and shrubbery around. “This is even better than I thought” he whispered as he parked his car in the shadows and got out. He moved quickly through the darkness and onto the side of the house, where Alex Felding was watching television.

Pushing through the bushes, Robert took out a wire cutter and opened up a box and cut all of the wires, only caring that the phone line was cut. Sure of himself, the man sneaked into the dark house through a window, and climbed through. He took out a flashlight and looked around. This was Alex’s room, with numerous UFC posters and memorabilia. “Let’s see how good this fighter is in the dark.”

Downstairs, Alex was frantically looking for a lighter, needing light. When he couldn’t find one, he walked through the pitch black house, looking for the cordless phone to call Tristan. But when he found it, he realized that the line had been cut. “Shit, this doesn’t seem good” he cursed, knowing that something bad was going on.

“Your right, its not.” Alex turned around, and was quickly knocked to the ground by Robert. The silver haired man picked him up by his throat and pushed him up against a wall. “If you want to live, just do as you’re told.” Robert pulled out a roll of duck tape and put some over Alex’s mouth, along with a blindfold for his eyes. Quickly, he opened the door and through the black haired man into the road before locking him in the van. Now that he had Alex, there was one last thing to do. He pulled out a note and walked back into the house and left it on the dinner table for Tristan, and then left with Alex in tow.

Kamen Rider: Last Knight Standing

Episode 1.2
First Strikes

“Hit me” Tristan said as the dealer gave him a king to add to his 7 and 3. “Stay” he said, waving his hand over the cards while the dealer flipped his facedown over. It was a five, added to his 9. He took another and it turned out to be a jack. “Dealer busts” the man in the suit said, taking the cards back and giving Tristan his winnings. The brown haired young man was up $500 when he looked at his watch. “Damn, its getting late” he said, getting up with his chips, but not before throwing the dealer a few 25 dollar ones.

“Okay night I suppose” Tristan thought as he cashed out and walked to his car, and checked his cell phone to see that he missed 3 calls, all from his girlfriend, Vanessa. “Not good” he mumbled before he called her.

“So you finally called back, huh?” the woman on the other end said. “Yeah, I’m so sorry. I was on a roll, and I know we were supposed to do something, but time flies” he said, trying to make up for his mistake. “Tell you what, I’ll drive over now, and with me will be something for you.” He had done this before, getting her a gift to soften things up between the two of them. “Okay, I’ll be downstairs on the couch.”

“Beautiful, love you” he said as he flipped his phone down and drove off to a flower shop.

In Spring Valley, Emily was over her best friend Jamie’s house, talking with her friends. “So Emily, have your eyes on anybody?” the other girl, Hayden, asked. “Well, there is this one baseball player that’s been flirting with me, he’s pretty cute” Emily giggled as she braided Jamie’s hair. “But I’m not looking for a relationship now.”

Jamie rolled her eyes. “That’s what you’ve been saying for what, the past three years? How come you haven’t had a boyfriend; cause I know you’ve done some stuff” Jamie insinuated. “Well, yeah, but that was fun, not relationship stuff.”

“Sex is pretty intimate you know” Hayden lectured. “Are you a lesbian?” Emily smiled. “Yes, I’m finally coming out. I am a lesbian. I am in love with every girl in our school, especially you” she joked. “But seriously, there are reasons that I don’t have someone in my life right now.” Those reasons were her rider powers, which she feared might be exposed and labeled as a freak.

“So what’s the reason?” Hayden asked as Jamie turned through the channels, and made a face when it hit animal planet. “Ew, manta rays; they look so disgusting” Jamie stuck out her tongue in disgust. “Yeah, they are” Emily agreed, having a sort of hatred for the fish, being that her powers came from one. The next show they saw was a superhero one, where a girl transformed into a warrior. “Dumb. If she was real, and I found out about that, she would never here the last of it” Hayden stated. “Freak.”

Emily bit her lip and now knew that she would have to be extra careful that no one found out about her secret. She snatched the remote and quickly turned the channel to MTV. “Oh, look, Justin Timberlake, hot.” Now that the situation had been defused, Emily relaxed a bit, knowing that nothing could go wrong.

Deep in the business are of London stood a large building, with an SC planted on the stop. Many knew it as a company that had to do with insurance, but that was just a cover for what was really going on. This was the Shadow Corporation.

“Power level to 4!” a man behind a computer yelled. “Send them out!” a woman called out into a phone. Behind thick glass, was a football field length battlefield with lights and devices on the walls, and a dark figure was standing, ready for battle. A large door opened up and robotic like humans ran out and charged the lone figure, who grabbed the arm of one and flipped it to the ground, all while delivering a kick to the other. Four more of the android like beings charged at the figure, who met them halfway, evading all of them with unbelievable speed and kicked off of the glass. He flew through the air and delivered a flying shoulder tackle to two of the beings. The others grabbed his arms and flipped him to the ground, and then back to the other side.

“His adrenaline is up to 80%, have him go for it” the man behind the computer said, rapidly hitting keys. The woman nodded and yelled into a microphone. “Now!”

The warrior that took out four beings made a motion around his waist as a blast of black light exploded across the whole area, and in an instant, the two robotic creatures were down, as well as a dozen more.

“Send out the big one” the woman said, pressing a button and opening another door, this one holding the final warrior. Out of it stepped what looked like a robotic gorilla. “Their power levels are on par” the man said, looking at the figure that had just taken down the robotic humans. He was cloaked in black light, but that soon faded to reveal an armored black and dark gray suit.

The robot circled the armored figure, who watched it’s every move, before charging at it in an instant. He threw a powerful punch aimed at the head and connected, knocking the beast back a few feet and making it angry. The gorilla jumped onto the man and took him down, repeatedly punching him in the head, but it didn’t even faze him. All he did was push the beast off and shook his head. He landed a kick to the side of the robot, followed by one to the chest, and then one to the head.

“Shadow Sword!” the man finally said as a ball of energy exploded in his hand, leaving a black sword with it’s cross-guard shaped like a dragon’s head. “Darkness Break!” He held his sword in the air and charged at the beast, drawing down his sword the moment he hit in, and stopped in a crouching position.

“Life of the Shadow Gorilla?” the woman asked the man on the computer, but before he could answer, the beast fell to the ground in a small explosion, and it’s destroyed stood up. “Test complete, gradually reduce the shield” the woman said as the lights on top of the battlefield turned on to reveal a man in his late twenties. He had short black hair and was fairly well built. His attire was a black and white business suit with black pants.

A worker sprinted up to him, seeing if he was okay. “Mr. Drake, how do you feel?” he asked. The warrior grinned. “Just fine, now clean this up” he said, jerking his head to the robotic wreckage strewn on the floor as he walked into the control station.

“Excellent work Nathaniel” the woman complimented. “Yuki recorded all of the data and statistics, and we believe that the artificial powers have an 85% chance of working on a human.” Nathaniel’s eyebrows were raised at the number. “So, there is a 15 percent chance that something could go wrong Kathy?” he asked the woman with red hair. “Yes sir. Side effects could include death, mental trauma, and much more” she answered. “That’s alright, we have plenty of employees” Nathaniel said, as if he did not care for a person’s life. “How is the tracking system going?”

Kathy handed him a bottle of water and led him to the Kamen Rider Tracking Station a few floors higher. “We have reason to believe that the Wing Knight has left New York for Las Vegas, probably trying a two for one.”

“Is he there yet?” Nathaniel asked.

“He will be in an hour at most. Both of the targets are together right now, at The Palms”

“Any luck on the identity of the Dragon Knight?”

“No, all we know is that he lives in Las Vegas, and frequents casinos. It could mean anything; he could be a dealer, gambler, security guard, bartender, anything”

“How could we not identify this one for so long? We have agents there, and yet this one eludes us”

“Well, you could ask him for help” Kathy said reluctantly, which was met with a glare from Nathaniel. “I told you, I don’t want anything to do with him. He is nothing compared to me, and never will be” Nathaniel stated before looking at a monitor. “It seems that the Ray Knight is in two different places.”

“It could be that Emily and her buckle have been separated; this could actually be a good chance to take her down” Kathy suggested, which brought a smile to Nathaniel’s face. “Yes, you are right. Send down a group of humandroids to take care of her and find the buckle.”

“Anything else you want done while I’m in the hangar?” Kathy asked. “In fact, I do. There is not much data on the Crustacean Knight’s abilities, so send down a medium level humandroid to test him” Nathaniel ordered, and then left for his penthouse on the top of the building.

Up there, he was still thinking about the Dragon Knight. “Why can’t find out who he is? I have a good amount of data on almost all of the other ones, but for this guy, it seems like I shouldn’t know.” He took a sip of coffee and looked at a picture of when he was 20. In it were himself, his parents, Kathy, and his younger brother Tristan. “Well I guess we know the black sheep was in the family, don’t we?” he said, eyeing Tristan. “Too bad you will never amount to anything that your sister and I have” he sighed, wondering how his brother’s life was.

At Vanessa’s house, she and Tristan were under the covers in her bed, after they smoothed things out. This always worked for Tristan. He would gamble, have Vanessa get mad at him, buy her flowers, and then go into her bed. “You really are a lover, not a fighter” she cooed as she lay on his chest. “I know; I don’t like to fight with anyone” he said, rubbing her shoulders. “I can never stay mad at you” she said, looking into his eyes. “What’s our future?”

Tristan smiled. “Go get the flowers I bought you.” She got out of the bed and walked over to the giant bouquet of red roses. “They are so nice, nothing can be better” she said, getting back into bed. “Are you sure?” Tristan asked, unwrapping the paper that the flowers came in as they fell onto the bed and something else dropped. Vanessa gasped as Tristan picked it up. His girlfriend looked at him in awe at the object that was in his palm.

“Vanessa Hart” he started, opening up the little black box. “Will you marry me?”

“Yes!” Vanessa cried as she took out the diamond wring and had Tristan put it on her hand. “I can’t believe this is real” she cried, kissing her boyfriend. “It is” he said before laughing. “I was actually kind of planning this whole night, like missing the calls.”

“This is just so perfect. I can’t imagine anything that could go wrong now” she said as they kissed again. “Your right, nothing can go wrong now.”

It was late in the after noon in Sydney, and Casey was walking home from the beach on a pier after a long day. He was still thinking about what had happened with Irou. “I’ve never had a dream that real” he thought, but was interrupted by his contact beast. “Because it was Casey” the Kamen Crab said. “Great, you again” Casey remarked. “Look, it’s been a long day, and I’m not in the mood to deal with you” he said, and turned a corner and opened his mouth in shock.

“Are you in the mood to deal with me?” the humandroid said, taking out what looked like a dagger, while Casey dropped his bag. “I said, are you ready to deal with me?”

“Who,” Casey started, “Or what are you?” The humandroid smiled. “Someone who will see if your worthy of being called a Kamen Rider!” He pointed the gun at Casey and fired a laser blast, but Casey ducked at the last moment and attempted to run, but something blocked his way.

“Casey, you cannot run from this fight” the Kamen Crab said as he looked at Casey. “You are one of the few that have this power, now embrace it and prove yourself!”

The teenager looked at him and back at the humandroid. “I’m only doing this so I don’t get killed, okay?” He ducked another laser blast and ran at the human and robot hybrid, rolling under the lasers and kneed the attacker in the chin, but it only stunned it. Casey was grabbed by the collar of his shirt and thrown into a tree. “Okay, I guess there’s only one way to take this guy down” Casey said as he dodged laser blasts and got to his bag and took out his orange and black Rider Belt. “Rider Transformation!”

The belt latched onto his waist and emitted a field of orange energy before breaking to reveal Casey as the Crustacean Knight. Casey smiled under his visor and ran at the humandroid with more speed than before, punching it in the head, this time dealing damage. He followed up with a kick to the side, breaking some of the metal and drawing blood, to his shock. “Okay, now I really want to know what you are.”

“That doesn’t concern you” the hybrid said before taking a machinegun like weapon. “Let’s see how fast you really are.” It fired rapid blasts at the teen, but Casey dodge almost all of them, before being shot in a less armored spot on his arm. “Damn” he winced. “I’d rather take a bullet; they probably don’t burn as much.” He avoided another barrage of lasers and somersaulted into a tackle, taking his foe down and kept punching it until its skull and pieces were broken. Casey backed off when he was sure the humandroid was no more, touching his belt buckle and went back into his human state.

He walked over to the pile of metal, bones, and blood, inspecting it. “So, it was human” he thought, and was stricken with grief that he had killed a living creature. “Who would do something like this to a normal person?” he said with disgust, walking away and going home, trying to think.

What he didn’t know was that the whole battle was watched by Nathaniel, who was impressed with the teen’s ability, and now considered him a problem.

“Let me go!” Alex yelled, shaking the cages bars that he was trapped in. “And what, let you try to hurt me?” Robert said, sitting on a crate in a warehouse as he dangled Alex’s blue and white Rider Belt. “No, your worth something to me; I can kill you right now and have one less rider to deal with, but I have bigger plans.”

“Like?” Alex asked, infuriated at being taunted.

“Killing your friend, the Dragon Knight” Robert said fiercely. “Taking him out is my top priority, you are bait.”

Alex was about to respond, but was hit with a sharp pain in his chest along with a headache. Robert just grinned. “It looks like its happening again, isn’t it? And without this close to you,” Robert said, throwing the belt across the room, “It gets even worse.”

The man in the blue and white shirt just clutched his head and fell to the ground while the buckle of his belt glowed on the other side of the room.

Emily, Jamie, and Hayden were sitting on the couch in Jamie’s room, watching TV, when they heard screams coming from outside. “What was that?” Jamie asked, and looked out the window, only to get it destroyed in her face. “Jamie!” Hayden yelled, rushing over to her friend, but a humandroid jumped into the room from the outside, and threw her through the wall. Emily was horrified at was happening, and didn’t notice two more humandroids that came in with laser guns, and pointed them at her and Jamie. “Come with us Emily” one said, just as Jamie’s dad ran into the room, but was kicked in the gut and punched in the head.

“Dad!” Jamie yelled, and tried to help her father when more came through the door with her mom. “Get all of them in the backyard” one said, dragging the unconscious man into the backyard, along with the others.

“What do you want?” Emily managed to say, pushing a hand off of her mouth. “You dead” a humandroid said as they got into the backyard and all were tied up, except for Emily, who kicked the shin on one of the attackers and ran into the woods behind the house. “Get her!” the leader said. Three humandroids ran after her, while another reached into a bag and pulled out a bag of syringes, tools, and wires.

“Are you going to kill us?” Jamie asked. “Why would we kill the newest employees of ShadowCorp?” the leader said, motioning for the others to start their work.

In the middle of the woods, Emily was running from the attackers, but was being overrun. “Don’t let her stay alive!” a humandroid said as he fired a laser trying to hit Emily. The other two fired at trees, making it impossible for her to escape. She tried to climb over them, but was thrown down by two humandroids and held up.

“The first one is about to go down” one said as he lifted his gun up, about to fire, when crimson blur hit the holder and knocked him away.

“What was that?” the two holding Emily asked, not knowing what had happened until the blur revealed its true form. “The Kamen Ray!” one yelled, and then was head butted over the barricade, freeing Emily. “You saved me!” she said, hugging the creature.

“Emily, you need to embrace your destiny and become a Kamen Rider” the ray said, transforming into a belt buckle that attached Emily’s belt. “I’m only doing this to save me and my friends” she said as she closed her eyes. “Rider Transformation!”

She was engulfed in a circle of dark pink power, and when it burst, she was in a different state. Emily was now an armored being with a ray motif. “Ray Knight!” she called out as the Kamen Ray’s image appeared behind her. She rushed into battle, gliding in the air and hitting the humandroid in front of her with elbow strikes and twirling punches. The one behind the barricade fired at her, but she dropped to the ground and ran up a tree vertically, doing a flip and kicking it in the back of its head.

“Ray Whip!” Emily called out as a whip like weapon with a stingray’s stinger on the end emerged from her buckle and into her hand. “Time for some fun.”

Emily glided over the downed trees and over the two humandroids, who fired at her. She spun her whip in a circle, deflecting the blasts and hitting the hybrids, cutting parts of their skin and denting the metal. She lowered herself and flipped one over and back into the other, followed by lashing from the whip. “Now to take you out” the knight said, spinning the whip in front of her. “Twirling Crash!”

The Kamen Ray emerged from the buckle, and Emily jumped onto its back. It quickly glided into the sky and out of site, until it swiftly slammed into the humandroids, destroying them.

“That’s all of them here” she said, jumping off of her contact beast. “Now I need to help my friends.” Emily ran to the backyard, where she saw her friends and Jamie’s parents, who had large cuts with wires coming out. “Okay, hope they don’t find out that this is me” she inhaled, and swung her whip at the humandroid that was about to put a device into Hayden and dragged it into another humandroid, repeating the process on four more.

“What was that?” Jamie asked, and then saw the Kamen Rider emerge from the forest, kicking a humandroid that attacked her. The knight gathered all of the attackers and threw them in a pile, before delivering another Twirling Crash, destroying them and running back into the forest.

Jamie, her parents, and Hayden all untied themselves and ran into the forest, where they saw Emily, lying on the ground. “Emily” Hayden asked as she looked at her friend.

“Hayden? What happened?” she lied, trying to make it appear as if she had been attacked and hurt. “These android like things attacked and put wires in us, were calling the cops and going to the hospital, are you okay?” Jamie’s mom asked.

“Yeah, I think they only roughed me up. You should go and get checked, I’ll be fine” Emily assured, worrying that if she went to the hospital, they might somehow find out about her powers.

“Okay, the police will want to speak with you though, so stay here and call your parents” Jamie’s dad said. “Yeah, I might need them to protect me if those things come again” she lied, knowing that she could handle them again. She said goodnight to all of them and waited on the porch, looking at her Rider Belt, specifically the buckle.

“Thank you so much” Emily expressed to her contact beast. “Don’t thank me Emily, it is you that accepted to transform. How did it feel?” the Kamen Ray said from its resting place. “Amazing, it’s so hard to describe. The power just went through my whole body and gave me a rush.”

“So are you going to accept that you have these powers now and use them?”

“I don’t know. I am really grateful that you helped me, but this makes me feel weird”

“You seemed like a natural”

“But only because I was protecting myself and friends, now I think I’m done” Emily said, and quickly put the belt on, when she saw her parents, and turned it so that the buckle couldn’t be seen. They rushed over and hugged her, making sure she was safe. When they were done consoling her, she went to sit in her car, waiting for the police to arrive.

She started thinking about her powers, and what the goal was. “I wonder if I could win the challenge. Winning it could give me anything I want…” she thought, trailing off into fantasy as she laid back and tried to relax.

It was early morning, and Tristan was driving home from his now fiancé’s house after a wonderful night of passion and love. He was feeling the best he ever felt as he walked in the door, and called out Alex’s name to tell him the news. Nobody answered. “Where could he be?” Tristan mumbled as he saw a piece of paper on the kitchen table and read it.

Tristan Drake, I know you and your friends’ secret. If you want to see Alex alive again, you must prove yourself worthy of being called a Kamen Rider. Bring your belt, and save your friend.

Kamen Rider Wing Knight

Tristan looked at the note in shock. How could anyone know about his powers? He looked at the back of the note and saw that an address was written down. He thought about calling the authorities, but knew that they would have trouble dealing with a Kamen Rider.

“Look’s like I’m going to have to fight” he sighed, looking down at his red and silver belt.

Kamen Rider: Last Knight Standing

Episode 1.3
Round One

“Sir, another body was found” a young Indian man said to the detective in charge. “Let me guess; the cause of death was a combination of blunt force trauma and poisoning?” the detective, a middle aged man, said. “That’s the second one in 10 hours.”

“Everybody is living in fear since this began. At first they thought it was an animal, now we know its some sick human” the officer said. “We also found another note.”

The man handed over a plastic bag with a piece of paper in it. “I believe this is number 54” the detective read aloud, and he nodded. “He seems to be keeping track.” Detective Rapal placed a thumbtack on a map, signifying the location where the victim was found. On top of the map was a label, Genocider. That was the killers name to the police, as he had left notes saying that this was the beginning of a new genocide.

“We need to do something to stop all of this, I’ll ask the US agents for help” Rapal said. The reason that American detectives were brought into the investigation was for two reasons. One, an American citizen vacationing in Mumbai was killed by Genocider. The other was that the Mumbai Police Force needed any help that they could get. A team of FBI agents were sent to the city and were trying to capture the serial killer, but they were having no luck.

Rapal went to another floor of the building and approached two agents, who had just been notified of the news of the 54th victim. “Any ideas?” he asked the white man and woman.

“All we know is were dealing with a really sick fuck. I have never seen someone kill like this. It’s like the person hit someone over the head with a bat, and it injected cobra venom” the American man said.

“It also seems that there are no ties to known terrorist organizations” the woman added. “He’s working alone. One man wants to single handedly create a new genocide.”

The three of them theorized for a few minutes before an officer rushed into the room. “I think we’ve found him!” he yelled as the three got up and went to the taskforce’s headquarters.

“Haja Rasham, a snake charmer from the outskirts of the city. 25 years old, arrested for assault when he was 20” Rapal read. “Do we have anybody on it?”

“Yes sir, 10 officers are in his neighborhood, waiting for the right time”

“Well tell them the time is now” Rapal ordered as he and the two FBI agents left the building to capture Haja.

In Haja’s house, he was smiling at an item in his hand. It was a scepter like thing, with the eyes of a snake. “Almost like the real thing” he said as some of his curly black hair dropping over his eyes. Haja looked at a silver item on a chair. “So how many officers does it look like?”

The silver item levitated into the air, and transformed into a large purple cobra. “About a dozen; we could be over sixty in a matter of hours” it hissed, slithering over to its master and settling on his shoulders.

“I feel we made our mark here. After we leave, the real fun begins” Haja said.

“Who are we taking out first?”

“We’ll see who we encounter on our trip. If one of them crosses our path, we kill them.” Haja picked up a piece of paper, with 11 faces and one black figure on it. “I know where were going, the only problem is the route.” He walked over to a map of the world and pointed to their current location, the southwest region of India, and moved his finger northwest. “Pakistan, Iran, Armenia, Turkey, Syria, Israel, and finally, Egypt” he said.

“Ah, I think I know what you are planning. I have seen the research on your computer master” the Kamen Cobra said, and then looked out the window. “Get ready, their about to storm.”

The man quickly grabbed the buckle and clipped it onto his purple and black belt. “I’m ready when they are” he said, his hands ready to activate the power.

There was a knock on the doors, and then a smoke bomb was thrown through the window as officers charged into the house. They were met with an explosion of purple fire as a figure walked out.

“What the hell?” Detective Rapal exclaimed as he saw the Kamen Rider emerge from the burning house. “Go for the kill!” he yelled, not knowing the power that Haja possessed. Bullets were fired at the rider, but the Kamen Cobra blocked them, while Haja took out his Venom Scepter and pointed it at an officer, firing a beam of purple energy that engulfed him. When it subsided, he was laying on the ground with many cuts, all dripping with venom.

Three officers charged at him, hoping to take him down. They were unsuccessful, with Haja hitting them all in the temple with his scepter with lightning fast speed. “I would suggest that you all leave.”

“Any idea how to handle this?” Rapal asked the American agents, Murphy and Janice. “No, I have never seen anything like this before. If that is Haja, then he somehow transformed” Janice said as the three huddled behind a van. “I would say that it’s impossible, but this is proof” Murphy said with a look of concern as he saw officers getting shot down by Haja. “We need the military” Rapal ordered. “There is no time for that, he’ll kill everyone around here by the time they get here” Murphy argued as the last cop fell. It was only the three of them left. Only some kind of divine intervention could save them.

At that very moment, the area started to shine a blinding gold light and the Phoenix Knight arrived.

Haja looked at the gold and bronze clad rider and smiled underneath his helmet. “Irou Enishi, a pleasure to meet you” he sadistically said. “I thought you would be one of my last victims.”

“I am here to stop you Haja. What do you expect to gain from this war?” Irou asked.

“Supreme power, and to have only the best survive of course” Haja answered arrogantly. “What about you?”

“I want the powers to be deactivated forever. There have been wars between Kamen Riders, and thousands of people perished because of them” Irou responded, knowing the history of Kamen Riders from the past. “As long as I am a rider, I will not let that happen!”

Both of them charged at each other, and staff met scepter. The two were locked in combat, blocking the others moves and landing scarce strikes. Haja had the upper hand at the moment, and switched out his scepter for his Venom Drill. He quickly hit Irou in the side with it, making him drop to the ground.

“I’ll be seeing you another time Irou; for now I have some business to attend to” Haja warned, and then vanished into thin air.

On the ground behind the van Rapal, Murphy, and Janice were astonished at what they had just witnessed. “Okay, we’ll get to the logistics of something like this happening, but first, I want to bring this Irou guy in for questioning” Rapal said. Cops were about to pick up the Japanese warrior when his staff suddenly stood up and started to spin. Suddenly, everyone but Irou froze in place. He got up and looked around, surveying the carnage that Haja caused.

“I must stop him, or else all of humanity could suffer” Irou said, determined, as he flew away on his contact beast and restored time.

The 3 detectives looked around for any trace of Irou or Haja, but found nothing. “How did those two just vanish?” Murphy asked, astounded.

“Well it isn’t any day that you see someone with that kind of armor. We need to alert Interpol. Haja could be going anywhere, and he is a threat to everyone” Janice said. “Plus run a check on Irou Enishi” she added as the three waited for more officers to arrive at the scene.

“Goddamnit!” Tristan screamed as he got drove through the streets. “I should have checked up on Alex. He could be dead by now because of me” he said, but quickly erased the thought. “No, he’s still alive. This guy is holding him hostage in exchange for a fight. I win, he’s fine.” He looked the note again and tried to remember where the location was. He knew it was in a business district, one that had many warehouses.

“You need to be careful Tristan, it could be a trap” the Kamen Dragon said as it exited its resting place. “You’re not as experienced as others; you have never fought a rider other than Alex, and those were just for fun.”

“Look, my best friend is in danger, and I need to do whatever it takes” Tristan argued, turning a corner and getting closer to his destination. “Who is Kamen Rider Wing Knight anyway?”

“I do not know that many specifics about the individual, but I do know about the powers. They come from the Kamen Bat, and his weapons are the Bat Lance and Sword of the Sky” the beast answered. “Be wary if the battle extends into the sky, which is where he is most comfortable.”

“How did these powers come into play anyway?” Tristan asked his partner, but the beast’s answer was cut off when the ground started to shake, stopping the car.

“Earthquake!” someone yelled as everyone got out of their cars and fled to safety, except for Tristan, who pressed the button on the side of his buckle. “Rider Transformation!”

A shot of red light from the sky hit Tristan and granted him his armor, making him Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. “We’ll travel differently I guess” he said, picking up the map and jumping into the air and landing on the head of the Kamen Dragon, which flew through the air to their destination.

In Washington D.C, Jessica just got off of her shift from the hospital and was relaxing on the couch, researching on her laptop. “So, my speed increases by 72 kilometers, and my sight by 8 kilometers. My upper body strength attack level is 150, and my lower body is 300” she said aloud before reaching for a sip of coffee. Putting it down, she looked up her favorites and clicked on a tag that read MYTHOLOGY. Jessica looked through the page that she had found the night before and came across one interesting note.

“Some cultures believe that there are specific sites located on the Earth that have a higher magnitude of power than others. Some of the more known sites include New York City, the Grand Canyon, Ayers Rock, the Sahara Desert, London, and many more. It is said that when powerful beings fight in the area, their strength increases, and the winner gains more power” she said word for word. “Interesting.”

Next up was the search for the origins of the word Kamen. There were multiple definitions, with most having to do with the power of the Earth. What intrigued her most though was that the Native Americans and ancient Egyptians had similar meanings. They both had the words power, armor, and beast attached to them. The Japanese and Maori had the words core and warrior associated with the word.

“How could such different cultures, and probably not knowing about each other at the time, have the same feelings about a word?” she thought. “So Kamen Rider could mean powerful, armored, or beast warrior. But what does the word core have to do with all of this?” Jessica’s mind was going through all of the information that she knows, scanning for some meaning, but came up blank for the moment.

After a few minutes, she was getting tired and decided to stop researching for the night. She went down the hall of her rancher and got in the shower, washing off for the day and thinking about the dream she had the previous night, where another rider saved her from being killed. “That couldn’t have just been a dream, it felt so real. I need to find out who this man is and ask him for help” the woman said as she got out and put on a white robe with a gold stripe painted around the waist. She put her nightwear on and was about to go to sleep, when she heard the doorbell ring. Jessica got up and put the robe on, as well as her rider gear, just in case. When she opened her door, she was shocked at who she saw.

“Hello Jessica, do not be alarmed. I have come hear for the purpose of good” Irou Enishi said. “May I come in?”

“Sure.” Jessica stepped away and let him in. “Very beautiful house. I see you like your contact beast” Irou smiled, motioning towards a large painting of a white swan on a golden background.

The woman gave a small laugh. “We are close.”

“As are my beast and I” he responded, letting the Kamen Phoenix out of his Rider Buckle. Jessica looked at it in awe. “Wow, it’s amazing.”

“Thank you” the phoenix said in a grand voice that only the two of them could hear. “May I see the swan?”

“Yeah, I’ve been practicing on controlling her release” Jessica said as a white light emerged from her buckle, and took the form of a swan. “It is good to see you again” the swan greeted, looking at the phoenix. “I remember losing you last time.”

The nurse had a curious look on her face. “Last time?” Irou nodded. “Maybe I should explain some of this” he said as they both took a seat.

“I assume you know about the rider challenge?” he asked. “Yes, I have been studying the powers and everything related to these powers ever since I received them” Jessica answered. “So, there was another challenge before this?”

“Correct. There have been three previous rider wars since the beginning of time, and they have been deadly. The first was when the Earth was born. It ended when the Phoenix Knight defeated the Dragon Knight, and the prize was the formation of Japan. The second was right after the death of Jesus, and was won by the Wing Knight. He wiped out Pompeii with the power. The last was the year 500, when the Dragon Knight won and decided to lock the powers away for all eternity. But 25 years ago, the Kamen Phoenix chose me as its partner, so something went wrong.” Irou exhaled after the history lesson. “Now, there are the twelve original spirits and one more, each in an individual. Yesterday was the beginning of the fourth war, involving us.”

“That’s fascinating” Jessica said, amazed at the mans knowledge of the powers. “But, why are you here?”

“Simple; I want you to be my protégé” Irou offered. “We could end this before many people get hurt, and you will learn so much about these powers.”

“Why me?” Jessica asked.

“You have a heart of good that cannot be surpassed. I see something in you that can help me. Plus, you have the fighting skills that can be used in case of an attack” Irou ended. “This is a chance for you to save so many people.”

“It’s sudden,” Jessica started, “but for a great good. I accept.” She shook Irou’s hand and smiled. “When do I start?”

Tristan had just arrived at the location and jumped off his contact beast’s neck and looked around. He was surrounded by warehouses, trying to figure out which one Alex was in.

“He’s got to be around here somewhere” Tristan muttered, when a knife was thrown into the dirt in front of him. He looked up and saw a man dressed in all black with silver hair on top of the building. It was Robert.

“Just my way of saying hi.” Robert jumped down and smiled. “Hello Tristan.”

“I assume you must be Wing Knight” Tristan said, not letting his guard down.

“You are correct; Rider Transformation!” A gust of navy wind hit Robert and left him in his rider form, ready for battle as the sun shined down on the two, the rays glistening on their armor.

“Where is Alex?” Tristan demanded. Robert just looked behind him and called for his sword before slicing a hole in the wall. “Right in there. Beat me, and he lives. Lose, and your both out of the challenge.”

“Then let’s do it. Dragon Sword!” the rider in red commanded as he summoned his weapon and charged at Robert. The more experienced rider just smiled under his helmet, and dodged the attack with ease, and followed up with a kick to the back of his opponent. Next he kicked off of a wall and threw himself at Tristan, flipping him into a truck.

“That must hurt”

“Not as much as this!” Tristan yelled, slashing Robert in the chest and sending him sprawling. Using that as an advantage, Tristan ran into the building where Alex was held and looked for him. As he looked around, a blast of wind hit his back and sent him flying into stack of crates. Struggling to get up, Tristan barely dodged a strike from Roberts’s sword and kicked his legs out from under him. He put his foot on the neck of the navy and silver knight. “I don’t want to fight, just release Alex.”

Robert shook his head, and grabbed Tristan’s other leg with his hands and tripped him. He jumped off of a scaffold and slid into the side of Tristan with amazing speed, pressing him against the wall.

“Guess I should put you out of your misery now; Wing Lance!”

A one-sided lance like weapon formed in the air and dropped into Robert’s hand. He smiled under his helmet, knowing that he was about to finish Tristan off. The navy colored knight raised his weapon and lowered it onto Tristan with great force.

Tristan braced himself for the attack and held up his right arm, which started to glow. As the lance made contact, the sound of steel ringing was heard throughout the building. “You really think I’m gonna go down that easily?” Tristan confidently said, revealing a red and silver shield on his arm in the shape of his contact beast’s body.

He kicked Robert in the chest regained his ground, picking up his sword. He lunged at his opponent and attacked with multiple strikes all over the body before stopping. “Come one, give up; I don’t want to hurt anyone, okay?” Tristan pleaded, but Robert swung his lance and hit the dragon warrior’s sword out of his hands. “Why would I give up? I have the opportunity to take out two of my enemies right now” Robert said coldly. He grabbed Tristan by the neck and threw him to the ground. “Time for some tricks.”

Robert called for his contact beast, a human sized bat. The creature emerged from the belt buckle and spit out two blasts of light, each transforming into a copy of Kamen Rider Wing Knight. The real rider watched as the two others fought with Tristan, who was tiring.

The red armored knight ducked a sword slash from one and punched the other in the gut. He roundhouse kicked both of them in a single spin before grabbing his sword and readied to attack, but suddenly stopped when he heard a horrible screeching sound. It was the Kamen Bat, sending out a sonic attack to disorient Tristan, allowing the two copies to strike him with their swords and drag him over to Robert.

“You put up a pretty good fight, but your run ends here.” The Kamen Bat latched onto Robert, forming a cloak as he flew into the sky for his final attack. “Tornado Drill!” The knight spun around furiously until he created a tornado, and manipulated it into a drill like form. He flew higher and then shot back down in a force that a regular human could only dream of. Before he hit Tristan though, he was knocked out of the tornado by a giant fireball.

It was from the Kamen Dragon, who was shielding Tristan. “I’ve come to make this a fair fight” he said as Tristan stood up in front of his partner. Robert stood across from them, the Kamen Bat hovering above. The two teams stared ferociously at each other. The battle was going to end with the next move.

“Tornado Drill!” Robert called, hoping that doing the attack horizontally would make the outcome different. The Kamen Bat attached to his back and they flew backwards and started to spin.

“Dragon Dropkick!” Tristan yelled. He leaped into the air and his beast coiled around him in a fiery blaze. Both of the riders unleashed their attacks at the same time, and used every bit of strength they had to defeat the other. Finally, just as Robert’s lance fell to the ground, their armor exploded in blasts of light. Tristan fell from the air and onto a box, and Robert fainted from the lack of energy.

A half hour later, they were both on medical cots in the same warehouse. Alex stood over Tristan, who was waking up. “W-what happened?” he weakly asked, his eyes barely opened. He gazed the area, and saw two people that he didn’t know.

“Tristan, I am Irou Enishi, Kamen Rider Phoenix Knight” the Japanese man introduced as he smiled.

“And I’m Jessica Menunnes, Kamen Rider Swan Knight, his protégé.” The Latina held his hand. “You and Robert had quite a battle.”

“Where is he?”

“I’m right here Tristan, and ready for a fight” Robert said, clearly not in the best physical state. He had dried blood all over him, as well as bruises and burns. “Rider Transformation.” The silver haired man hit his buckle, but nothing happened. “Whats going on?” he asked, panicking. “Where is my power?”

“It’s recharging. The battle between you and Tristan weakened each of you so much that your contact beasts need rest, I’d say for about a day” Irou explained. “And don’t even try attacking us. If you even get within 4 feet of me I’ll destroy you.”

Robert backed down. “Neither of us may have one this battle, but I will win the war. Until our next fight, Tristan” he said as he walked out of the building and to his van, ready to go home.

For the next half hour Tristan, Alex, Irou and Jessica discussed the Kamen Rider powers and the rider war. They were trying to find a way to stop it as soon.

“We four are all on the side of good, so we have an instant alliance. There are also three others; Emily, Casey, and Giga, that have pure souls. We have to notify them of this and make sure they are safe. I have their locations right here.” Irou took out a sheet of paper with the pictures of the three individuals. “Emily is in Los Angeles, Casey in Sydney, and Giga in Africa. I’ll take Giga, seeing as my phoenix can cover the most ground. Alex, you go find Casey. Jessica will talk to Emily.”

“Got it. Tristan and I should be going now; we haven’t gotten good sleep for awhile” Alex stated as he helped Tristan get up. The black haired young man summoned the Kamen Tiger for transportation and jumped on him with Tristan. “Nice meeting you two. I got your numbers, and we’ll call if anything happens.” He and Tristan waved goodbye to the two other riders and left the area for their house.

“The war has officially started” Irou ominously told Jessica as they got onto the Kamen Phoenix and went to her house.

Kamen Rider: Last Knight Standing

Episode 1.4
A New Style of Life

“So?” Alex asked, sitting down at the table, drinking a beer while Tristan was lying on the couch, still tired. “So what?” Tristan inquired.

“Fighting another rider in a real battle, what was it like?”

“New, very new. That was basically a fight to the death, and I’m glad no one was hurt seriously” Tristan answered. “But you were right about one thing; the adrenaline of something like that is amazing.”

“I told ya. Its fun sometimes.” Alex smiled and tossed his Rider Buckle in his hand. “Wonder when I get to fight?”

“Um, Alex, some info. This isn’t an MMA match where only money’s at stake. The prize is the loser’s powers, and a loss could result in death you idiot!” Tristan yelled. “Were living a different type of life now.”

The younger man sighed. “Okay, you might be right, but not everything is different. What about Vanessa, how are things going with her?”

Tristan smirked as Alex’s eyes went wide. “You finally proposed?”

“Last night.” Tristan high-fived his best friend. “You’re the first one I told.”

“Not even your parents?”

The Dragon Knight shot him a glare. “Oh, right. Forgot you don’t talk to them anymore” Alex said. “Back to some rider business; Irou gave us some each some gear.” He went over to Tristan and opened up a box.

“New cell phones that have their names, a detector to see if any has rider energy is in the area, and a book about our powers and abilities. I read some of it, pretty good” Alex said as he handed Tristan the three items. He took out his own and hooked the gadgets onto his rider belt, and the small guidebook into a slot. “Only one more thing to do.”

“Yeah, finding Casey; good luck” Tristan said as he shook Alex’s hand before he rode off to the airport and on his journey to Australia.

After Alex left, Tristan called his new fiancé. “Hey Beautiful” he said right away.

“Hey baby, I tried calling you, but you didn’t answer” she said in a sad tone.

“Sorry about that. I was basically unconscious from being worn out last night” he apologized, but wasn’t telling her the whole truth about his other life. “Why don’t we meet up at the Palms pools later?”

“Sounds great. Its pretty cool that you have all of those connections” she said.

“Comes with the player’s card” he laughed. “After that we can have dinner at that new restaurant.”

“Yeah, the new Italian place, right?”

“That’s the one”

“Great. Pick me up around 4?”

“Can you pick me up? My energy might be a little too low to drive”

“Aw, okay. Get some rest; I’ll come in around 3:30. Love you”

“Love you.” Tristan hung up the phone and rested his head on the pillow. He grabbed a bottle of Tylenol and took 2 pills, hoping that the pain from the battle a few hours beforehand would go away.

The SWAT team moved slowly through the back of the building. Zachary Xavier was the second in line, and had his weapon drawn. He was the shooter of the team, the one that could handle any type of weapon that was brought to him. They soon found the door to the back of the bank and used a small video camera to look under it.

There were two heavily armed men holding the customers and employees hostage.

“Mark, go out and shoot to kill” the one with the Hispanic accent ordered his comrade.

Behind the door Zachary was worried about what could happen to his fellow officers. “Guys, I think now’s the time for the secret weapon.”

“You could kill someone!” his commanding officer yelled in a low tone. “I won’t let you.”

“Look, this could be worse than the North Hollywood Shootout. That won’t happen again.” Zachary took out a silver object from his coat and nodded. “Rider Transformation!” he screamed as the door burst open, and a green and silver warrior was standing there.

“Kamen Rider Bison Knight!” he yelled, and drew his Rider Gunner, firing at the robber exiting the building. Laser Pellets flew out of the machine gun like firearm and through the legs of the robber, making him drop to the ground and scream in pain. The Hispanic man looked back and saw Zachary and the other SWAT members rush in. He was about to fire at a woman, but she was protected by a green shield in the shape of a bison’s head.

The other members rushed in and shot the man in the head, killing him. Two grabbed the other and took all of his weapons, while the others made sure there was no one else in the building. After a few tense moments, the word was all clear. Medical personnel were signaled to come in and help everyone, as Zachary made his way outside, with a weird feeling that this was not over.

“Xavier, great job. I had a feeling that these two were getting desperate.” The SWAT commander congratulated.

“I don’t think this is done yet. I think that these two aren’t alone in this. It feels like something bigger.” He scanned the area for anything unusual, and saw a piece of paper on top of the building. “I’m going to get that.”

He climbed up a ladder and looked at the note. It had a picture of a sniper rifle on it, as well as a name. Frank Xavier. Zachary growled and ripped the note off before dropping down. “So he’s still in business.”

At the Shadow Corporation, Nathaniel was looking over the video tapes of Casey and Emily’s fights. He was trying to find their weaknesses, and had immediately spotted Casey’s. “He doesn’t seem to get along with his partner, this could help us immensely.”

“How so?” Kathy entered the room. She had just been in a testing facility, working on a top secret project that only she, Nathaniel, and a handful of employees knew about. “We can take him out easily. Coupled with his inexperience, he could be the first casualty of this war. All we need to do is separate them from each other” Nathaniel explained. “I want something that could do just that. Make it so he cannot connect with his contact beast.”

“I’ll have Yuki get right in it. What about Emily?” Kathy questioned.

“She seems to be embarrassed of having the power. I want an attack to occur by her school. If she survives, we send another squad of humandroids down while she’s with her friends. We keep doing that until she is exposed” Nathaniel said in a cunning manner. “I heard there was a battle between the Dragon and Wing knights; how did that turn out?”

“A draw. Both were equally matched in power, and their powers need rest” the blonde woman said. “The Tiger, Phoenix, and Swan riders were also in that area.”

“I want Irou taken down as quickly as possible. He will be the first to act if any of the other riders discover me. Kill him, and fast”

“Nathaniel, we don’t have the power to match him yet, unless you want to do it on your own” Kathy informed. “The only thing that I can think of that can defeat him is one of the unfinished projects, and were not using them until they are fully complete and have been experimented on.”

The dark haired man sighed. “I guess your right. It’s good that were both co-founders and owners, our views balance out. However, we have the same goal.”

“That’s right. It’s a good thing Tristan isn’t involved with this. He’d try to shut it down the moment he heard the idea” Kathy said harshly, but then her voice smoothed. “I do wish we could see him though.”

“No, he is a slacker and should not even have the last name Drake!” Nathaniel yelled.

“Don’t you think you look down on him a little too much?”

“Until he comes to us showing the tenacious business skills and attitude that our family is known for, he’s nothing to me.” He looked at his watch, “I have a meeting in the insurance sector. Send the humandroids for Emily down.”

In Los Angeles, Jessica had just arrived from Washington DC, and had checked into a small motel, knowing that she probably wasn’t going to be staying long. After renting a car, she drove to the town of Spring Valley and activated her rider detector, trying to hone in on Emily. The device brought up a map of the town and Emily’s location. “Okay, Spring Valley High School” Jessica said to herself as she drove off and waited to meet Emily.

The bell had finally rung after a hard day of school, and Emily was at her locker outside, talking to Jamie. “So how is everyone?” the pink rider asked. “Fine, nothing too bad. Just scrapes and bruises. I wonder what those things were” Jamie thought aloud, and then saw a look of panic on Emily’s face. “I think were gonna get another chance to find out” Emily said as she tapped Jamie’s shoulder, and the girl saw a group of six humandroids.

“Oh shit” Jamie said in a low voice. “Think of a route out.”

Emily opened up her locker slowly and grabbed her Rider Buckle, placing it on her belt secretly, but not activating it. “We split up, okay?”

“Okay”

“Go!”

The two girls ran in opposite ways, Jamie into the streets, and Emily into the school. The blonde girl sprinted into an empty room and pushed a button on her buckle. “Rider Transformation!”

The Kamen Ray appeared behind her and flew into her body, giving her the powerful armor. She went back into the front of the school and saw that all of the humandroids from before, plus ten more, were still there, terrorizing students.

Emily flipped into battle, throwing a flurry of punches at the androids around her. One threw a kick at her, but she grabbed it in time and flipped it over and onto its back. Three more took out their lasers and fired, but the model dodged quickly and summoned a crossbow type weapon armed with stingray like tails. “Ray Bow, fire!” The projectiles were launched at the group and hit most of her targets, destroying them. The rest now started to focus their attack on Emily, charging at her. She was elbowed in the head and knocked into the steel lockers, breaking them.

The humandroids picked Emily up and tackled her through a concrete pedestal, leaving it a pile of rubble. Emily was taking a beating, starting to wear down after multiple attacks. She thought she was done for when the Kamen Ray arrived and shielded her from a barrage of laser blasts.

“I’m back in this” the girl breathed heavily as she summoned her Ray Whip and hooked two humandroids. “Up you go!” she shouted as they were thrown into the air and destroyed by a head butt from the Kamen Ray.

It was now down to Emily versus three humandroids. She thought this was going well, until one of the humandroids took out a remote. “What the?” she started to say when that one holding it exploded. When the dust settled, the other two were still alive, but there was now a giant mechanical spider with them.

“Okay, now I’m in trouble” the warrior in pink and silver armor warned herself. “Twirling Crash!”

The Kamen Ray glided over to Emily as she jumped onto it and flew out of site. When it came crashing back into the mechanical beings, the two humandroids shielded the spider from harm and sacrificed themselves. The spider crawled over to Emily with tremendous speed and picked her up with its two front legs. “I hope you enjoyed life.”

As he was about to bite through her with his fangs, a large swan swooped down and hit it in the head. Emily was freed and dropped to the ground, looking around to see her savior, Jessica.

“Another rider; it looks like I got the two for one special.” The spider jumped at Jessica, but she propelled herself upwards with a perfect jump and landed on the beasts back.

“Rider Rapier!” she called out. A slender fencing sword materialized in the air and slashed through the spiders back until it reached Jessica’s hand. The beautiful gold and white weapon was used to slide Jessica up to the mechanical attackers head. She held onto the leg of the monster tightly, waiting for Emily to recover.

The young girl stood up and grabbed her whip. She swung it at the spider’s head, like a lion tamer using a whip to tame the wild beast. “Close its mouth!” Jessica ordered as the creature bucked around.

Emily followed the order, using her weapon to tie the monster’s mouth closed so that it could not bite. When she knew she was safe from the fangs Jessica jumped down and held her hand out in front of her.

“Naginata of the Lake!” the white and gold knight called out. Suddenly, the area transformed into a tranquil field of water, which spat out a double headed staff like weapon. Jessica grabbed it and spun it around, allowing her to stand on the water. “Tsunami Shredder!”

The Kamen Swan emerged from behind the spider and flapped its wings, creating a mist that propelled the spider into Jessica’s swinging naginata. When the spider hit the weapon, it was just like paper hitting a fan, ripping it to pieces. Jessica stopped the spinning right after the monster was destroyed, returning the area to a school plaza.

Jessica checked to see if anyone was in the area before returning to her normal state, but as did Emily, but with much more hesitance. “Here, you win” the younger girl said, taking off her Rider Buckle and holding it out for Jessica to take. “You don’t have to hurt me.”

The Latina woman looked at the blonde confused. “Emily, I’m not here to hurt you, on the contrary. I want to help you in this war.” She pushed back the hand and went to her car to get the gear. “This is for you.” She gave Emily the box containing a detector, cell phone, and guide. “I need to go. Two of us in one place is not good if one is not experienced. My number is in there, along with a few other riders. We’re all good, so just give me a call if you have any questions.” With that, Jessica drove away to her hotel, leaving Emily to think about what had just transpired.

“Hey, do you know this guy?” Alex asked a stranger on the streets of Sydney. The woman shook her head no and continued walking, while Alex tried again with an older man. He had been doing this ever since he had gotten to Sydney and settled into a hotel.

Alex kept approaching people, trying to find Casey Allor when he remembered his rider detector. He took it out and activated it, pinpointing the Crustacean Knights location at the beach. He called for a cab and rode off to the beach, hoping that nothing would happen on the way.

In the water, Casey had just finished a wave, and was waiting for a bigger one. This was what he did when things were stressful. He was looking for a wave that measured up to his stress, and this time he needed one real big.

Casey’s mind kept wandering to the battle the day before. He had faced a hybrid of a human and a machine and had killed it. That was what disturbed him, that the opponent was some weird mutation. “Who would do that to someone?” he thought. “And how did he know I was a Kamen Rider.” Those two things had kept him up at night, as well as arguing with his contact beast. God, he hated being partnered with the Kamen Crab. The beast was so tough and serious, the complete opposite of his own personality. He was the party guy, the ladies man that was laidback.

After hitting a few small waves he had given up and was back to resting on the beach and soaking in the sun. Sure enough, this was interrupted by his beast. “Casey, you need to be training” the giant crab said.

“Ugh, just go away. I’m trying to relax”

“There is no time to relax in a time of war”

“I know how to fight. You saw me kick that machine guy’s ass”

“That may be true, but I feel that he was just here to test you”

“And I passed”

“Yes you did. However, will you past the test of defeating another rider?”

“I’ll deal with that when the time comes up” Casey argued. He was almost at his highest level of madness. “Either you shut up, or I smash the buckle.”

“So you want to kill yourself?” the crab asked.

“What?” Casey inquired. “Our spirits are now connected with that buckle, whether you like it or not. If it is destroyed, so are we” the Kamen Crab informed to a groan from Casey. “Why the hell did this happen to me?”

“Destiny” a voice said. The dirt blonde haired surfer turned around to see a man in his early twenties with spiked black hair. “It’s your calling to be a Kamen Rider.”

Casey got up quickly and got into a fighting stance. “I don’t want any trouble, so leave.”

Alex rolled his eyes and tossed Casey the box containing the gear for him. “A present from Irou Enishi, Kamen Rider Phoenix Knight.” The teen thought for a moment, and then remembered the name. It was the same person that came to him in a vision. “So you’re good?”

“Yep. Alex Felding, Kamen Rider Tiger Knight” he introduced shaking Casey’s hand. “In that box is a cell phone, rider detector, and guide” Alex informed. “Thanks for hearing me out, but I have to go now.” Alex was about to walk back to the cab when laser blasts hit the sand. When the sand cleared, a squad of humandroids led by a mechanical human and lemur hybrid was present.

“I think you know what to do” Alex said, hitting his belt as Casey did the same simultaneously. “Rider Transformation!”

Two explosions of blue and orange energy happened leaving the two in their Kamen Rider forms. The two rushed into battle against Nathaniel’s forces.

Alex summoned his Tiger Gauntlets and started swinging, while Casey called for his Crab Cutter, which was a large pair of scissors attached to his wrist. The 18 year old slid under a humandroid and stabbed it in the back with the blades of his weapon.

The Tiger Knight swiped two fighters at the same time and slashed through more, which kept coming. He was blocking laser blasts left and right, all while trying to stay on the offensive. He knew that the lemur hybrid would be the toughest to beat, so that was his first target. After pushing through the droids he and the mechanical lemur started to battle.

The monkey like creature blocked the swipes of Alex with a rifle like weapon and flipped over him. It hit Alex in the back with the butt of the rifle, finally taking him down and giving his squad an advantage. He needed to make sure Alex didn’t interfere with his plan. “Hold him still. I only have one shot!” the monster ordered a group of humandroids as they fired their lasers at him and pinned him on the sand. The lemur took out what looked like a green bullet and loaded it into his rifle, waiting for Casey to be still.

Casey continued to fight the hybrids using everything he knew. After cutting most of them in halve with his weapon, he turned to the lemur and targeted him.

This was the moment that the being was waiting for. Without hesitation, he fired his rifle and hit Casey in the leg with the bullet. The Crustacean Knight’s body started to glow gray and he fell to his knees.

“Whats happening to me?” Casey yelled, feeling faint and dizzy. “Oh nothing; just cutting off your link to the Kamen Crab” the lemur said as Casey reverted to his human form and dropped to the sand. He walked over to the teen’s body and flipped him over to take his Rider Buckle. He was about to grab it when he heard the roar of a tiger.

A blue and white tiger appeared behind the lemur and bit into it, holding him tight. Alex broke free of the humandroids and summoned his Crystal Axe, cutting down all of them. He nodded at his partner.

The Kamen Tiger started to drag the lemur on the sand, with Alex running behind him. “Crystal Shard Strike!” the rider yelled as the tiger turned around and faced Alex, who ran at high speed and slashed the monster in the chest, turning it into a crystallized state for a moment. With a snap of a finger, the lemur exploded in a blast of crystals.

Right away Alex ran over to Casey and saw him lying in the sand, in pain. He powered down and looked at his leg, which was bleeding. He also saw the green bullet in there, giving off some kind of energy. “Come one, were getting you help” Alex said as he whipped out his cell phone and called Irou.

“Irou, Casey’s hurt” Alex said frantically.

“What happened?” Irou was soaring over the plains of Africa trying to locate Giga.

“This mechanical lemur thing shot him with some kind of special bullet and his powers gave out”

“I’ll be right there” Irou said. The Japanese man closed his eyes and put his hands together before releasing them, allowing him to teleport to the beach. He looked over Casey soon became worried.

“Kamen Phoenix, can you find the Kamen Crab?” Irou asked his beast who arrived with him.

“No Irou. He is not in Casey’s body”

“This is bad. A Kamen spirit cannot survive in his world without it’s proper host body. Casey, I’m taking you to my lab, okay?” Irou told the teen, who shook his head no.

“Just get me to a regular hospital. I couldn’t give a shit if that thing dies; and, I don’t give a fuck about this whole rider war. I feel disconnected from the power, and I am actually happy about that” Casey argued. He handed his Rider Buckle over to Irou. “From now on, I don’t consider myself a Kamen Rider.” The teen limped to his car and drove away, leaving the two others to contemplate on what to do.

Kamen Rider: Last Knight Standing

Episode 1.5
Battle Royal

In Kenya, a man ran through the jungle with incredible speed. He jumped over a log and made a turn into thick brush. The man looked at his surroundings for a quick moment and kept running, still being chased. Soon he was in a clearing and smiled.

“Let’s see if they can catch me this time” the African man said. He was in a gray shirt and khaki shorts, the attire of a poacher. He was just waiting for the people pursuing him to arrive. He hid in a bush and watched as four men cautiously made their way into the area, looking for him.

“Just turn yourself in Kituku; you can’t outsmart us. It’s only a year in j-ahhh!” The man yelled as he and his team dropped through a bed of leaves and into a deep hole.

Kituku snickered as he made his way out with his rifle drawn. “I think we know who’s smarter now, don’t we?” he kicked leaves and dirt down on the men from the government and laughed. “I am impressed that you made it through my other traps though. But alas, your hunt ends here.” The hunter pointed his rifle at the men. “I am sorry, but I need to do this.” He fired four times, killing each one of them. After saying a quick prayer he left the area and walked into the plains of Africa.

“You know that was necessary, right?” Kituku questioned. A black and silver rhino appeared next to him and nodded. “The end justifies the means. You are doing what you think is right, no matter what it takes” the beast said. “You aren’t going to hurt any more innocent people, are you?”

“I can’t say for sure, but God will forgive me” Kituku said as they kept walking, seeing a small village in the horizon. “The prey I am after is different from them. They are the ones that I need to eliminate.”

He entered the village and was greeted by the smiles of children playing soccer. He waved to them and walked to a large hut. “Their smile is what keeps me focused on this mission” Kituku smiled proudly.

“It makes me happy as well. If we accomplish this, they will have a longer life” the Kamen Rhino said. Kituku nodded and picked up a bag of luggage. “The journey starts now.”

In Alex’s hotel room he and Irou were on the phone with Jessica. They were telling her about the battle, and most importantly Casey and his former powers.

“So he took a bullet, and that somehow cut off his link to the Kamen Crab?” Jessica asked.

“Correct. Now we have a wandering spirit that has a limited time to live, and could be a danger if it somehow gets into the wrong hands” Irou stated while looking over his research. “The other thing we need to do is find out what attacked us. I doubt that they are alone. They must be apart of something bigger.”

“I know, they attacked Emily too. I’m looking up every file I have but there is no connection to rider energy” Jessica said. “Alex, do you know anyone else other than you and Tristan that has knowledge of these powers?”

“Other than Robert, no” Alex said into the phone as he read the book that was given to him, and noticed an interesting topic. “Actually, there may be someone. The rider powers were supposedly stored in the core of the Earth, right?”

“Yeah” Jessica said. “Why?”

“There’s this guy I know, Jim, and he works for some company. The boss believes that the Earth sends out shockwaves of power. Maybe this is related to us?” Alex thought aloud.

“That theory is interesting. A company that knows about us, and wants us dead” Irou said. “Jessica, were going to Vegas to check out this Jim guy. I want you on this Casey thing. We need to find a way to somehow get the spirit back into Casey.”

“Okay, I’ll do whatever I can. Good luck” Jessica ended as she hung up.

Alex quickly packed up and teleported back to Las Vegas with Irou, ready for some answers.

Robert stood on the rooftop of his complex in New York City, overlooking Manhattan. He held a sword in his hand and moved with the wind, practicing maneuvers for his next battle. This was where he excelled, a lonely rooftop where the wind swept.

He was still trying to make sense of not defeating Tristan. “I am the one that trains the most. The one that wants to excel and win at all costs, the smartest, the fiercest. And yet a rider that doesn’t even care about the power blessed to him matches me in power!” Robert snapped as he turned around and slashed the air in one quick motion. He followed up with another to a board he had placed on the roof, slicing it into two pieces with perfect accuracy.

The man dressed in blue and black continued to train until he heard the doorbell of his apartment ring. He dropped his sword and went to answer it.

“Hello son” Adrian Clark greeted. The tall man wore a black suit over a gray shirt and black pants. “May I come in?”

“Sure” Robert said as he walked away from the doorway as his father opened it up more and looked around. The penthouse was considered pretty normal for someone that had a high profile lawyer as a father. The most unique thing about it was the swords on the walls. They ranged from med-evil to samurai in type and were all in perfect condition.

“I see that you have bought more since I last visited” Adrian said as he sat down on the couch. Robert sat across from him on another with a wooden table in between.

“Why are you here?” Robert asked. “This better not be about law school. I said no before, and I will again.”

“Robert, you need to do something with your life, and you have a guaranteed job at m law firm. You always used to be interested in law; helping defend the innocent and lock away the guilty. You always wanted good to prevail” Adrian said. “What happened?”

“People grow up. They change interests and learn new things” Robert answered. “Things that change their entire outlook on life” he thought in his head.

“Over the past two years, you have become so cold, not like your old self. I am worried”

“Like I said, people change. Isn’t that a right?”

“It is, but it is also a right for a parent to worry about their son. Three years ago you were planning on going to Harvard Law School, and then you just said no, without any reason”

“I have my reasons, and they don’t concern you”

“Alright, fine. I try to helpful to you, and yet you shun me”

“It’s called karma” Robert said. “You needed and used me, so now I’m in charge. I can end your career in an instant, but I’m choosing not to. Just remember that, dad.”

Adrian gave his son a look of anger as he walked out of the penthouse and left Robert alone.

Robert smiled at what just happened before taking out his cell phone and making a call to a friend. “Are you there?”

“Yeah, just relaxing. There are some really cute guys here, so I’ll probably stay longer. Lost some money though” the woman on the other end answered.

“That money will come back to you if you accomplish your mission; it will also bring us one step closer to the end” Robert stated. “Now keep an eye out for him, and don’t blow your cover.”

“Alright, but I’m gonna have some fun too. Some of these guys are real hot and dumb, just what I like”

“Well the target isn’t, so be prepared. You better not fail” Robert ended as he hung up the phone.

At ShadowCorp Nathaniel had just gotten the good news about Casey. “I want the spirit captured, and soon. They can’t live outside of a host body for more than a week” Nathaniel ordered in his war room. Inside was himself, Kathy, advisers, and bounty hunters.

“I estimate the speed of the Kamen Crab to be a 3 on the one through ten scale; it probably hasn’t left Australia yet. You all are going to the southeastern region of Australia and the ocean around it” Kathy said as she handed the bounty hunters a special tazer. “These will immobilize the spirit” she informed. Next she gave them each a small orb like object. “Once it is down, these will absorb it.” The hunters all nodded and went to one of the corporations jets, ready to capture their target.

“Next order of business,” Nathaniel started, “Project Arex.”

One of the advisers stood up and gave Nathaniel a small folder. “Inside is all of the information about Project Arex. The subject is holding up well, and is getting used to the power; I say we unleash him soon” the man said.

Nathaniel read through the folder and nodded before handing it to Kathy. She was impressed with what she saw. “Pretty good for a basic prototype; who should we send him out against?”

“I think you know the answer” Nathaniel grinned as he brought up Irou’s picture on the giant screen. “Take him out” he ordered before he left the room.

Tristan and Vanessa were sitting poolside at the Palms, sipping on drinks and talking about what their wedding would be like.

“What do you think about a beach wedding?” Vanessa suggested as she held Tristan’s hand. “Maybe the Bahamas?”

“Sounds good, but you know you’ll change your mind about ten times before we decide on what we want” he pointed out. “All girls do that.”

“Yeah, but I want it to be perfect, like the whole relationship” she said. “I’ve told everyone about it; what about you?”

“Just Alex” Tristan replied.

“Oh, I thought you would tell your mom and dad” Vanessa said.

“I’ve told you before, things aren’t exactly great between my family” Tristan said. “The closest people that I consider family are you and Alex.” Vanessa smiled and gave him a kiss. “Where is Alex anyway? He usually comes here looking to hook up.”

”He went on a trip. Someone wants to train him” Tristan lied. He had to so that their secrets wouldn’t get out. “Why don’t we get in the water” he said, trying to drop the matter. He picked his fiancé up and carried her into the water as she laughed.

On the other side of the pool, a young brunette in her early twenties eyed the two of them. She had a green and yellow bikini on and was being watched at by many men. “Now seems like a good time to attack” she thought, getting up and closing her eyes. When she opened them, her appearance changed drastically. Gone was her youthful and athletic figure, she now appeared to be in her late forties. She walked past all of the men that ogled her without a notice at all and to a secluded area.

“Time to make Robert proud” Cynthia sneered as she pushed the activation button on her rider buckle and transformed into the Chameleon Knight. She was about to attack when she heard a beeping sound coming from her belt. “My detector” she thought and took it out. Cynthia looked at it and was surprised to see that Irou and Alex were in the immediate area. “Crap, I can’t handle all three” she said to herself and looked around, trying to spot them.

Inside of the resort Alex and Irou were trying to find Jim. “He comes to drink here around this time” Alex said, looking at his watch. Irou scanned the bar that they were in, but didn’t see anyone resembling the man. “He’s not here” the Japanese man said when his rider detector went off along with Alex’s.

“Who’s here?” Alex asked, not knowing what the two energies were.

“The Chameleon Knight and someone else” Irou answered as he looked around.

“You don’t know who the other is?”

“No, the power source is not one of the 13 knights”

“Then what is it?”

“I don’t know, but it cannot be good” Irou warned as he put his hand on Alex’s shoulder and teleported them out and onto the top of the building. “Rider Transformation!” he called out as gold light hit him and he gained his armor.

Alex followed, calling out the ignition phrase and transforming into his rider form. Now with enhanced vision and senses, the two knights looked down at the pool area and elsewhere.

“I see Tristan” Alex noted, pointing to the brown haired man and Vanessa. “Think we should warn him?” Irou thought for a moment, but decided against it. “There are too many people, he’ll be seen” the Japanese man said, still searching for the two other Kamen Riders. “Phoenix, do you sense where the two are?”

The golden phoenix emerged from the rider buckle and surveyed the area. “The Chameleon Knight is close, I can feel her spirit. The other I sense, but it is hazy, almost like static.”

“Interesting” Irou nodded and noticed that Alex was getting restless. “Be patient, the enemy will be revealed.”

“Easy for you to say; you can control your powers like an expert. Mine are different, going on and off” the fighter argued. “I’ll help you with that when this is done” Irou said, and then turned around to see Alex dangling from the ledge.

“Hi” a female voice greeted. Irou turned around to see a light green and yellow Kamen Rider with a pair of Sais. She jabbed the dagger like weapons at Irou, who shielded himself with his Phoenix Staff and pushed the woman away.

“Cynthia Camforma” Irou said, and the woman nodded. “Just so you know, you weren’t my first choice” the young woman stated as she looked down at the pool. “That makes two of us” Irou retorted as he blocked another attack from the Chameleon Knight. He kept deflecting the strikes from the girl and pushed her to the ledge. “Give up now, or drop to your death” the Japanese man warned. Cynthia smiled underneath her helmet

“I see you forgot about my tricks” she laughed. The Kamen Chameleon appeared and transformed into a bat, latching on to Cynthia’s back and lifting her up into the air and swooping down to slice Irou with her weapons. “Catch me if you can” she taunted as she flew around the resort and then remembered Alex. She glided down to the side of the building and saw him gone. “What the hell?” Cynthia looked around and suddenly saw Alex flying at her on the Kamen Phoenix. He swung his axe at her, but it hit her version of Tristan’s Dragon Shield.

Irou jumped down onto the beasts back took out two golden sabers from holsters on his back that resembled feathers. He jumped off of Alex’s back and into the sky, slashing his sabers to create golden projectiles that flew towards Cynthia, but they were shot down by a green Uzi that appeared in her spare hand.

“This is not going well” Cynthia thought as she was dodging attacks from Irou and Alex. She flew down to the ground and started shooting at the two. The Kamen Phoenix dodged the laser pellets and dropped off Alex and Irou.

“Give it up, your outnumbered” Alex said.

“Oh really?” a voice said. It was a white man in a black leather jacket and gray pants. “Kamen Rider Arex, Power up!” He revealed a silver belt and pushed a button, transforming him into a dark green and black Kamen Rider. His helmet had a grasshopper motif and he was armed with a light saber like weapon.

Irou and Alex looked at him in shock. “I think we know what that other power source is now” Alex alleged as the man rushed towards them and slashed both in the chest with his light saber.

“Where did you come from” Irou grunted, getting up from the ground with Alex.

“People can do many things with rider technology, like make new ones” the man said, twirling his saber. “You can go back to your original mission; I can handle these two” he said to Cynthia.

“Alright. Bye!” she waved to the three and flew over to the giant pool area.

A few blocks away, Kituku looked at his rider detector and saw 5 blips on the small screen, each with a different symbol. They were a dragon, phoenix, tiger, chameleon, and a gray square.

“Four knights in one place, something exciting must be going on” he said to himself, following the signal of the dragon and drove up to the resort. Getting put of the car, he activated his rider buckle and transformed into Kamen Rider Rhino Knight.

“God, I am sorry for the sins I am about to commit” he prayed, summoning his Rhino Rifle and firing at the pool.

People scattered at the blast and called 911, not knowing what happened. Tristan and Vanessa were lucky; they were away from the main point of the blast. “What was that?” Vanessa panicked. Tristan felt the presence of his contact beast and knew it was the cause of another Kamen Rider.

“Go to the car and drive home. Stay there, I’m gonna help here” Tristan said.

“Okay, be careful though” Vanessa said as they kissed and she drove away reluctantly. When she was out of site Tristan looked for his bag containing his rider gear. “Come on, it has to be here somewhere” Tristan rummaged through the debris when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around and was met with a kick to the gut that sent him flying into the water.

Tristan looked at the person as he got out and spit out the water. It was another Kamen Rider, in silver and black armor. He had a long red horn on his right shoulder, and his helmet was modeled off of a rhino’s head. “Let me guess, you want me dead?”

“Looks like it” Kituku said, charging at Tristan and grabbing his waist to spear him into a car. “I am sorry for what is about to happen” Kituku said as he pointed his rifle at a prone Tristan. Before he could fire though, his rifle was snatched from him by the ball of a yoyo. He turned around to see the Chameleon Knight holding the handle of it.

“Can I join?” Cynthia asked as a second rifle appeared in her hands. “He’s mine.” She fired at him but missed as he quickly dodged it with lighting fast speed. “Guess that’s what comes with those powers” she noted, trading in the rifle for a dark pink whip. She swung it towards Kituku and caught his leg and dragged him to her. “You’ll be first I guess.”

“Not a chance” the black man said. The Kamen Rhino appeared and knocked Cynthia down with its strength. “Your death will bring help to the poor” he stated.

“Like I would ever help those below me” Cynthia scoffed as she got up. “Your beast isn’t the only one that wants to play.” From out of her rider belt came the Kamen Chameleon and spat its tongue out to hit the large silver rhino. The knight reeled in her Rider Winder and let it go at her enemy, hitting him in the chest. “Enjoy your last breath” she sneered. “Permanent Disappearance!” she called out.

The Kamen Chameleon was about to unleash its tongue when a fireball hit the ground. Cynthia, Kituku, and the two beasts looked up to see the Kamen Dragon in its majestic glory. Tristan dropped down from the dragons head and summoned his Dragon Saber, slashing the chameleons tongue before it could touch Kituku. “Looks like a triple threat” he said, looking at the two other knights.

In the parking lot of the resort Irou and Alex were fighting Kamen Rider Arex. The green warrior struck Irou with his light saber and jumped up into the air. He pointed the weapon at Alex and fired a beam or energy and sent him sprawling. Now focused solely on Irou, Kamen Rider Arex battled with the Phoenix Knight. Irou was dodging the swift attacks with help from his teleportation powers, but he soon was hit in the back and to the ground.

“You should have never thought of the humandroids or a conspiracy. That kind of thinking gets you killed” Arex warned.

“So there is someone behind this; they made you, didn’t they?” Irou said.

“If I said yes, what would you do?” Arex responded.

“Take whoever is behind this down” Irou said bluntly. “Now tell me or die!”

Arex laughed, firing a laser blast at Irou. “You are in no position to make threats. I will tell you one thing though. My boss is the 13th Knight, and you should be glad that he sent me. The power of that man is unimaginable. Combine the knight powers with technology and you have the perfect Kamen Rider.”

Irou stood up slowly and held himself up by his staff. “Then I’ll send him a message that he isn’t the best.” He pressed a button on his weapon and the wing shield opened up to fire the golden beams at Arex. “That I will stop at nothing to bring him down; Golden Sabers!” Irou’s staff vanished in a flash of light as he took out his two sabers from their holsters and charged at Arex. The artificial rider met Irou with his light saber and held off the hits from the feather shaped weapons. Irou blocked a shot right at his head and held his sabers tightly. They were the only things in between him and death.

Underneath Irou’s helmet he was starting to sweat at the possibility of death. “I can’t die now. There is too much on the line” he thought. Inch by inch, the light saber was burning the weapons. They were about to melt away when the two warriors were tackled to the ground by Alex. The Tiger Knight was back up and now had on his Tiger Gauntlets.

“Come one” he growled to Arex. The dark green Kamen Rider looked at both of his targets and thought for a moment and shook his head. “I’ll see you another day Irou.” Arex put his hand on his belt and disappeared in a black light.

Irou and Alex were both breathing heavily from the rough fight that they just had, but it wasn’t over yet.

“Tristan’s powers are activated, along with Cynthia’s and the Rhino Knight’s. Their around the corner” Irou said, he and Alex sprinting around the building to see three knights at war. Tristan in the red; Cynthia in the green, and Kituku in the silver. The Dragon, Chameleon, and Rhino.

Tristan was being double teamed by the two others and was not faring well. He barely was blocking strikes with his Dragon Saber, and even then he was getting hit sporadically. Cynthia wielded her Rider Winder while Kituku shot with his Rhino Rifle.

“Dragon Shield!” Tristan called. He held his arm out, letting the large armor attach to it. He moved it in front of his face to stop the high powered laser blast from Kituku when he saw Irou and Alex coming to help.

Alex grabbed Kituku with his gauntlets and tossed him in the air and pounced, slashing him in mid-air as he dropped. Irou tried to fend off Cynthia with his somewhat broken sabers, but was caught in the leg with the yoyo and spun around into Alex and Kituku.

The lone female looked at Tristan, whose shield had vanished after Kituku fired. She reeled in her yoyo and began to use it as a mace to attack Tristan. The rider in red tried to evade the quick attacks and was partially successful. He had managed to avoid the ball, but was getting tied up in the steel like cord. Cynthia smiled and summoned her contact beast, ready to deliver the final blow. “Permanent Disappearance!”

Cynthia summoned the Kamen Chameleon. The large green reptile latched onto Tristan with its tongue and threw him into the air. Cynthia jumped up and took out her Chameleon Sais, ready to stab Tristan straight into the ground. Before she could hit him though, the Kamen Dragon appeared and blocked the attack, sending Cynthia falling to the ground.

Still in the air, Tristan looked at the dragon and then Cynthia. “Dragon Dropkick!” he screamed. The Kamen Dragon wrapped around Tristan in a spiral of fire as he kicked Cynthia in the chest and pushed her into the pool.

“Horn Drill!” Kituku cried. Silver light engulfed his left arm and formed a drill like weapon around it. The African man charged at Alex and broke through his claws, knocking Alex into a light post and breaking it. “That is true power, and you will all feel it” Kituku threatened, turning his attention to Irou. “It looks like you’ll be the first casualty of the war. You should be proud that your blood will help those in need.”

“I know what you want, but there are other ways to make it happen” Irou reasoned as he traded in his sabers for his staff. “Just join us and we will help whoever you want.”

“People have been saying that for decades, but my homeland is still in shambles. War, famine, dehydration, they all will come to an end when I win this” Kituku stated. He lunged at Irou, who hit a high kick to the neck of the Rhino Knight. Kituku continued to attack with his weapon, while Irou used his staff as a base to perform kicks and punches.

When Kituku would charge Irou would simply spin around on the staff and kick the other knight in the back. If Kituku tried close range combat, the Japanese man would flip over his own weapon and then swing it at his foe.

“You’re good” Kituku sighed, catching his breath, and then saw Alex rejoining the battle. “But your friend may not be.”

Kituku quickly spun towards Alex’s direction and was about to attack when he was struck by the Kamen Tiger, which was now twice its normal size. The other riders looked at Alex, confused at what was happening.

Tristan looked at the scene wide eyed. “Oh no” he said to himself. “It’s happening again.” The Dragon Knight ran towards the battle with the Kamen Dragon and saw Alex summon his Crystal Axe. “Alex, stop!” Tristan yelled, grabbing his friend’s attention.

Alex looked at Tristan and then started to quiver. He dropped to the ground as his rider powers fluctuated. He kept going back and forth between his human and rider forms. The Kamen Tiger roared out in pain from what was going on and disappeared in a burst of blue light that engulfed the whole area.

When the light settled everyone’s powers were de-activated. “What happened?” Kituku asked aloud. He pressed the button on his Rider Buckle, but it didn’t work. “Energy overload” it said. “Too much power to process. Powers must rest.”

“Looks like it’s over for now” Kituku growled. “There’s no use in destroying a knight if their not in their Kamen Rider form.” He looked at Tristan and Irou with an angry glare and then left.

From one of the balconies Cynthia watched what was happening. After Tristan’s attack she had used her powers of invisibility to leave the battlefield and observe.

“This is interesting” she whispered. “I heard of powers going haywire, but this is amazing.” She grinned as she took out her cell phone and made a call to her boss.

In the desert of Egypt, Giga had finally arrived at his destination. The tribesman looked at the markings on the temple and smiled. “I have found it. This is where they rest.” He walked in the doorway and lit a torch. He gazed at the images and text on the walls. The writing was in a language that he didn’t know. The pictures on the other hand told the story.

The main carving was of 5 animals. A scorpion, a centipede, a toad, a gecko, and a cobra. They were arranged in a pentagon with the cobra on top. To the right of that was a belt buckle emitting a glow of power. The last hieroglyph was of five warriors bowing to their master.

“I can’t let anyone get to these” Giga said. He walked through the hallway to the tomb and then heard footsteps coming from another direction. He peered into the room where the five warriors rested and saw an Indian man took out a belt buckle. Giga quickly rushed into the room and kicked the man in the chest.

“Who are you?” Giga asked, protecting the tombs.

“Your worst nightmare” Haja answered. He threw a kick at Giga but it was caught. This didn’t stop Haja, as he dropped to the ground and kicked Giga’s legs out from under him. The two got up nanoseconds of each other and continued to fight, hitting the other with punches or kicks. They both anted this room to themselves for two different reasons.

Giga grabbed a hold of Haja, but it was no good. The Cobra Knight, wriggled out of the mans hold and hit him in the head with a large rock, knocking him out.

Haja quickly placed his Rider Buckle into one of the tombs slots. The tomb with the gecko symbol shook. Its lid slid off as a man in a green uniform awoke and looked around. “My master?” he asked.

“Yes, I am your master. I am now the master of the 5 Venom Ninjas” Haja said darkly as he opened the other tombs, revealing three other men and one woman, ready to serve his every command.
