G5 Prince appear in episode 45 of Go-Onger. I haven't seen the episode so I'm not sure exactly what happens. I do know that G5 Prince performs their song "Kimi to Gyutto" and at the end they do the G5 Prince Rap. But that's about it.

Trying not to spoil much here...

It's the New Year's episode, so Hiroto and Miu treat the Go-Onger to an onsen. Along the way they meet a sprite [in the form of a child] and try to cheer them up. At first they bring back the G3 Princess, but that doesn't work, so the boys debut the G5 Prince.

It truly was a stunning piece of work.

Yeah. Their song was cheesy but it was nowhere near as sickly as the G3 Princesses.
Why did they name the band after an Agito Kamen Rider anyway? Are they Kamen Rider fans?

It has nothing to do with Kamen Rider. They use G-Number in Go-onger for the mecha names (Engine-O G-6, G-9, G12). G stands for Go-Onger here.
