This thread will contain the latest information on the Power Rangers RPM episodes, including summaries of upcoming episodes, so be warned of SPOILERS. I hope you find it helpful!

Power Rangers RPM will have 32 episodes. Disney XD will not be airing Power Rangers RPM, and will only air on ABC Kids. All of the above information comes from BurgundyRanger, KyL416, and other reliable sources.

I figured this is a big enough announcement to have a double post:

Power Rangers R.P.M. will premiere on ABC Kids on March 7th, 2009. As for Disney XD, it is absent from the premiere line-up on February 13th, so we don't know when it will air. KyL416 said it would be in February though.

Not always. I think it's premiered in early February a few times. I could be wrong though.

According to the Internet Movie Database and Pazsaz Entertainment Network the release date is February 16. I consider IMDB to be pretty acurate so hopefully that is the date it will premiere.

IMDB is not reliable, anyone can submit anything there. It's almost as bad as Wikipedia. As for the other source, I've never heard of it. Care to link me to it?

Not always reliable either. The person who did the PR section should list the seasons properly as there is 17 seasons not 24 (they had each seasons spllit into two seasons)

I remember that website from before. That site would always put up fake episode titles and then replace them with the real ones once we knew them. Totally unreliable.

That site's weird now. I miss the old layout they had till about 2003 when they had the Space Ranger ratings.

Well, I'm pissed now. Poweranimals has contacted Disney and they have confirmed two things:

1. RPM will not be airing on Disney XD and will only be airing on ABC Kids
2. RPM will have 32 episodes

Since it's only on ABC Kids, I won't be able to watch it on TV since the ABC Kids at home doesn't show it. Maybe, just maybe, the ABC Kids at college here will show it.

*sigh* That's unfortunate news indeed. But I guess it's best to look on the bright side, at least we're getting Power Rangers R.P.M. You know, it's a long shot but maybe we could all do up an online petition to get R.P.M. on Disney XD.

You can always download too. Same goes for everybody else here that doesn't have ABC Kids or does have ABC kids but doesn't show PR for many fans in certain areas.

Ah damit. I hate ABC Kids. And I always liked watching Power Rangers during the evening instead of Saturday mornings. Plus, just last Saturday, the Jungle Fury finale was cut halfway for an Obama conference. THIS SUCKS!:mad:

I just had a thought, does this mean there will be absolutely mean no more Power Rangers reruns on Disney XD?:(

ABC Kids have never done that.

ABC Family did but they stopped showing the pre-disney seasons and the post-disney seasons before OO ended or after...can't remember when.

Disney only wants to show the seasons they have done.

This is funny.

Remember, someone that was "in" with the series also "told" poweranimals the series was being canceled for an animated series, which never proved to be true. I don't know who at "Disney" he is in contact with.. but I'm starting to wonder if "Disney" is just an alternate ego he has created, LOL.
Some people are totally clueless. At one point in time, Power Rangers WAS going to go animated. Later Disney changed their minds and decided to stick with live action.

All of you can choose to not believe PA, but I hope all of you realize the many, many things he has been right about. He obviously has inside sources. Nobody would ever be able to guess that Operation Overdrive would have a special team-up with Bridge, Adam, Xander, Tori, and Kira. You just can't guess that right. People need to stop holding on to false hope. PA knows what he is talking about.

Is there a possibility that RPM will air on Disney XD? Not likely. If someone at Disney said that it won't be airing on Disney XD, then it won't. And if they're wrong, then they're wrong. That's not on PA. Everyone else here can do the same exact thing that PA did and email her (Mimi.Fong@Disney.com), though please do so in a respectful and professional manner.

People need to learn to do their research to see the credibility of people and not just base it on what they think. It's a fact that PA has inside sources, that just cannot be debated. Simple as that.

Not airing the show on Disney XD is a horrible move. If Disney is so concerned with the cost of the show and ratings going down, why would they decide to only provide it on ABC, whose affiliates in many markets choose to not air Power Rangers at all? They're significantly cutting their already dwindling audience.

Disney is still in contract with Toei...there was that rumor posted before that the contract was to last until 2019 (27th season by then).

BurgundyRanger has confirmed that the VOD schedule for February does not have RPM on it. That means that it will not be airing in early March at least on Disney XD, which is further proof that it's only on ABC Kids if anyone still doubted that.

And the worst part is i wont have a new PR fix on the month of my birthday.:(

Well EK, I think the are focusing februrary on the launch of Disney XD and didn't want to try promoting two things at once. Plus, since RPM isn't on XD, it isn't as big of a deal so it can be pushed back.

I would however like to go on record in saying that those are good episode titles.

Also, can I throw out a posibillity? Is is possible that Disney has put RPM on ABC Kids because that way most people won't see what was done by the first EP that they didn't like? If they suddenly start showing RPM on XD (reruns or new eps) during the second half, and only show second half episodes, then this will confirm it for me.

I can understand that, i'm just a little sad and dissappointed that RPM won't begin in February because on the 18th of that month is my birthday and i really would've loved to have seen something new on the celebration of my 21st. Guess i'll have to stick with reruns of any older Disney season that may be rerun at that day.

That's one of the possibilities I was thinking about when people kept saying Disney is doing this to abandon or kill power rangers...

Or their is some other real reason why they want to do it.

Maybe they want to play it on saturday's so it can compete with Kamen Rider

Maybe they want to give some other new shows some shine on DisneyXD(Aaron Stone) before putting an established show like Power rangers on it.

Or maybe they want to wait and put the second half of power rangers on Disney XD since they don't like the first half.

The sources did say that Disney doesn't like the first half and that the second half would be way different. So maybe that is the real reason.

That's from Burg's website. I'll add the details to the first post. And it seems that since Kalish is gone, the number of words in the episode titles is not bound to any pattern anymore finally.

I'm going to miss watching Power Rangers on Monday nights. Hell, I'm going to miss watching Power Rangers on TV at all! My local ABC affiliate doesn't air the ABC Kids block acter 11 on Saturdays, so I'm going to have to rely on YouTube this season. I hope people are fast with the uploads.

Well merchandise is where Disney makes a lot of money from PR. That's why they make all those different figures, power-ups, vehicles and whatnot that never appear in the show. All they have to do is be associated with Power Rangers and the kids will beg their parents to get them. But stay on the topic of episodes here.

Hey you guys I don't wanna sound dumb, but I don't know if someone thought of this...

What if "Fade to Black" actually has to do with Corinth City being overpolluted instead of with the Black Ranger joining in the team to help? "Black"-toxic....? And how the whole city/planet turns Dark like another poster said.

And, "Go for the Green"-I think someone mentioned it already, but yeah, maybe Green Shark ranger is last to affiliate in a team because he's more 'rogue' than Black Wolf ranger member. Or, it just so happens that a villain targets Green ranger/Green Shark is in an actual race-type event even though VCN is the main underlying problem of this season, just as a focus ep for now or some more Global Warming reality-check to us, ugh haha I can see it now: "Go for the Green"-save our energy, we have to help the civilans you guys, blah blah...?! lol I dunno

what do you think? Just a geeky/possible thought

I heard that they fired one of the producers half way through, not sure why, but I heard it was because the first half was to dark or something.

I have to say though this is the first time I am really anticipating a new PR series in a long time. I think because Their is rare news and Disney doesn't want anything to slip out. Also the main storyline sounds pretty interesting.

It was the executive producer that was fired, the one that replaced Bruce Kalish. Disney hired him because they liked his ideas but then once he started making episodes they decided they didn't like where he was going with R.P.M. so they replaced him with someone else.

Well, I was hoping for a 2 parter to open the series, with a powerful cliffhanger, I hope we get a 2 part finale this season,l a series with a 1 part finale, in most circumstances is less of a series than it could have been, please Disney, do that, and as for Shineknger which willl be made into a pr season, im lookinf foward to that, great costumes!

"Crown and Punishment" I really enjoyed, it just didn't have that "finale" feel. For instance, in DT's finale as the Triceramax mobile command center is approaching Mesogog's island and Conner's fighting the Tyrannodrones on the roof of the truck ... or the A-Squad vs. B-Squad fight ... those are, for me, "wow, this really is the finale"-type fights.

In Go-Onger, is it Black or Green who joins first?

Finally saw a promo today. Looking forward to next week.

Gonna go off topic for a moment though, but ABC kind of screwed over Jungle Fury. Meaning that when they aired the finale about a month ago, they cut it halfway through to have Obama on, and they don't even play it again before RPM starts. Though I can see why they didn't since alot of people would've seen it in November or on YouTube, but still. So as of today, "One Last Second Chance" will probably be the last episode of Jungle Fury ever played, unless Disney XD gets smart and start playing Power Rangers again.
The point is, I don't want the fans to get screwed over with RPM only airing on ABC Kids.

my only question about the rpm promo is who says "rangers, form high octane megazord." and "alright people lets bring the pain" if i didnt already know that the zords dont talk i would swear that it was the lion hauler

I'm pretty sure "alright people lets bring the pain" was said around when the eagle racer was flying.

Well, maybe 'Ranger Green' is about one of the rangers going nuts/hyper or something wrong happens to all of them? It won't necessarily be about the Green or Red ranger/s only, I think. I dunno...just speculation.
And, maybe 'Ranger Red' is about them being 'stuck' in trouble, time, or some other deep shhh.

Obviously, like saying "Green Light, Red Light...Stop...Go!..." haha

Big duh, because PR logic in RPM. It's a "racing-themed" PR again anyway.

Only ABC Kids is going to show Power Rangers RPM. RPM is not going to air on Disney DX (was Toon Disney).

You can always download, not everybody has ABC Kids either and those who do have ABC Kids doesn't show PR (depends where you live). For those in Canada has Family Canada but they would rather download than getting up early in the morning...I'm one of those Canadians who doesn't want to get up early lol

You know it's not exactly racing themed...Actually racing might not have to do anything with the story and they just have a simple, logical explanation for having the Racing Performance Machines in their name.

It's post apocalyptic... I really don't see why they'd wanna race.

I'm not saying what you said didn't make sense or anything. I wasn't slamming your post. I think your ides are logical and make sense. I just didn't see the racing theme fitting in from Go-Onger. I can't honestly tell you what to expect so we're all entitled our opinions. So, I'm sorry if I made you feel discouraged or anything.

As for Ranger Red and Ranger Green, it'll probably be focus eps about the two rangers, showcasing how different each are for the team.

I too hate getting up that early, that is why I prefer setting my ancient VCR to record the show, and see it another time.

If anyone lives in a market that normally doesn't carry Power Rangers on ABC Kids (like I do), check your listings for earlier in the morning. My ABC affiliate is airing the show at 6:00 am instead of noon. Perhaps Disney is making all of the ABC affiliates air the show this year.

If people are fast enough it should be up by Sunday by the latests. That's how it's usually done with The Spectacular Spider-Man since season two started airing in Canada, and I've been watching it on YouTube almost every week.

So episode 8 is called "Ranger Yellow, I" which means that episode 9 is "Ranger Yellow, II" and we already know it's airing the following Saturday so the first post has been updated. Seriously though... Ranger Green, Ranger Red, Ranger Yellow I and II... I think we can expect some Ranger Black and Ranger Blue episodes and maybe even a Ranger Gold and Ranger Silver one too.

Actually, the episode was put up at like 1 pm or so on Saturday. And it actually aired at different times on Saturday depending on where you lived. Some people got it at 5 am, and that's probably how they got it up so fast.

Not many shows can say they lasted that long. It has been a fun ride, sure we had some bumps (A long one during Overdrive) but they were still satisfing in the end. RPM is surley going to make the series end with a bang.

So we're up to at least 13 straight episodes in 13 straight weeks without a single repeat or pre-emption. That's almost half of the season over before it will even be June. Sounds to me like Disney is getting it over as quickly as possible...

Yeah, I was wondering why we haven't had any pre empties yet...that's not like ABC kids because ABC Kids usually always have some prempties for those in the eastern area when it comes to a current PR season every year.

Oh, I'm sure we're going to get preemptions forcing it to go into 2010. This is ABC we're talking about here, not the best at scheduling football games, golf games, president speeking about things that I really don't care about... my point is, we are most likely to go a while without new episodes for a numerous weeks on end and we need to find a way to get past that. As long as we find something else to do and occupy our time, we're good. I would be really surprised if they pulled an ABC Kids Wild Force on us and once they finish just replay the rest of it that was on their station until the next season (or the dark side of things end)

Also a note for those that are relatively new to the 6:00 AM time slot, even if said event is on at noon, PR is still preempted without reason. I should know, I 've had it at 6:00 AM since I moved here at Mystic Force: The Return.

Heh, you guys are right. You see, I keep an updated list of PR episodes on my computer, including the airdate and episode number. I just checked it, and apparently, during Jungle Fury I went from 655 to 666, resulting in the episode number being 10 too high for every episode from that point on. Oops! :o
