Welcome to the Digital World RPG Discussion Thead! Not even the crash could stop us! This RPG officially started on December 7th, 2007. Three months later, we reached over 100 Game pages, and 150 pages in the Discussion! Now we are back, and better than ever!

Story:

Years ago when the Digital World had only been around for less than 100 years, the darkness lord known as Daemon ruled. Only one warrior was able to step up and seal away Daemon. This warrior was named Susanoomon. Years past, and Susanoomon perished. Then, one day, humans appeared in the Digital World. Some Digimon befriended the humans, others shunned them.

The Digital World's human population has grown very much since that time. Many Digimon team-up with humans to fight and save the Digital World from evil. But evil can never be stopped, and that's why a man named Jakisawa was chosen to lead the Digital Police Force. The Digital Police Force's mission is to destroy all evil things in the Digital World. But that dosn't mean others can't join the fight! Some humans like to travel with their Digimon alone, others in group. These humans don't really want to be a part of a organization, but just want to travel around the Digital World. There humans are known as Adventurers. In the Digital World RPG, once you meet someone, you are able to contact them on your D-Terminal. This can be very useful especially when you need back-up for a battle or just want to hangout.

Announcement:

Seeing as we have lost most of the old board, I have decided to take the RPG in a new direction. Welcome to the Digital World RPG Revolution! New things will be rising, as well as the same old story you know and love.

Also, I have decided to promote the following members to game executives of the RPG. These three users chosen have been with the RPG since pratically the start, and have contributed a lot:

1) Zedd's the Man
2) Digiranger
3) BlueProdigy

The executives will help me with decisions, as well as watch over the story/discussion and make shure it is running smoothly. More promotions were be announced, so stay tunned!

Hey um I have some bad and good news.

Bad news is that my brother hated this reboot and wasnt pleased with the crash as well, so he has decided not to come back.

Good news is, his spirit, and his digimon Armadillomon and Gomamon are now free. So I geuss unless we dont kill off his character then that all stays but if CS dos, then all of that is free.

A few issues with this line:

1.Callismon is a mega, not an ultimate

2.Callismon is already in use in the story(We're set to fight him and five friends as soon we get going again.)

Anyway, if I recall correctly Rapidimon is completely paralyzed, as is (Metal?)Greymon. Stingmon is on his own.

Reason doing so is because when we get new memebrs we need digimno for them to play and most of us have taken the good ones. I t just makes me feel guilty that new members dont get to have a good digimon and then their stuck with using digimno that are rarely ever used or talked about. I just get guilty about it.

The entire Dobermon line is acceptable except the Mega. Seeing the circumstances, I am going to allow you to pick your Mega as long as it is similiar to a dog/wolf (and is not reserved).

-The Mega you choose has to be an existing Mega Level Digimon. It must be similiar to a dog/wolf and currently not taken by any others members or reserved.

That's what I was saying. Almost nothing is known about Lykamon. Not even his attacks. One site I went to said he wasn't even a mega. But he was supposed to be used in an episode fighting three megas. Besides that site isn't even maintained anymore.

There is a loophole where we can say that Lykamon digivolves from Cerberumon, because quiet frankly not much exists that says to the contrary. But CS has the final word.

The next arc is the Six Hands of Vengeance arc that you and BlueProdigy have planned. Adam will probally be transported to the location after his Spirit Arc. Rio will probally not be attending.

BTW, who wants to be in charge of Jacob while Zedds is gone?

Just a Recap Summarey so everyone can catch up:

Season 1:

It all started on a bright, sunny day. Tamers, Digimon, and members of the Digital Police Force were all heading through the Digital World to a tall skyscraper known as the Public Planet Association Building. The reason they were heading to this building was because the leader of the Digital Police Force, Captain Jakisawa, had said that he would be announcing a plan that would affect the entire Digital World in many ways. Once everybody was finally seated, Captain Jakisawa (Played by me, Pumpy) began to explain that a strong threat had entered the Digital World, and that this threat must be stopped. The threat's name was King MVmon. Jakisawa explained he would be uniting Tamers, Digimon, and the DPF into one group to fight MVmon's army. Before he could say anything else anymore, Captain Jakisawa was shot by a mysterious bandit.

As Captain Jakisawa was taken away to the hospital, the Co-Captain of the DPF had to rise up and take charge. His name was Mike Smith (played by Digiranger). Mike and his Digimon partner Guilmon journeyed to the Darkness Kingdom, where he and the Digital World's Peace Lords tried to stop King Mvmon. Although their efforts failed, and as a punishment King MVmon killed Guilmon. King MVmon made a deal with Mike, saying if Mike joined MVmon's side and helped him conquer the Digital World, Mike would get Guilmon back as well as a syrum that could save Captain Jakisawa's life. Mike accepted, and MVmon gave Mike a new Digimon partner, Arkadimon.

Arkadimon was unlike any ordinary Digimon. Arkadimon was a NeoDigimon. These NeoDigimon came from a scientist called "The Deep One." The Deep One (played by Zedd's the Man) was from a world full of darkness, and asissted MVmon in his actions to take over the Digital World. Meanwhile, Mike had been assigned to hunt down and kill the entire DPF (Digital Police Force). He soon ran into Norby, one of his friends from the DPF. Norby's Togemon was no match for the strentgh of Arkadimon, and just when thinks looked grim, Arkadimon's energy dissapeared. Now helpless, Togemon attacked and and destroyed Arkadimon. Arkadimon's Data then floated into Norby's Digivice, hopefully never to be released again.

Mike soon assembled a elite group of Digital Police Force members and Adventurers to rescue Guilmon's Data from King MVmon. This group included Adam (played by SHR), Kendra (played by LostProphet), Rio (played by me, Pumpy), Ryan (played by Ger), Norby (played by BlueProdigy), Jessica (played by Waterlovr), Raine (played by me, Pumpy), Zeke (played by LastofLords and later me, Pumpy), Zach (played by HelixRanger) and Kenji (played by Ryu). The group traveled to the castle, and soon found themselves facing against one of the Deep One's assisstants. When the battle was over, the assistant turned out to be a human named Jacob (played by Zedd's the Man). Jacob was unlike other humans. He had amazing telepathic powers. The group eventually rescued Guilmon's Data, got the syrum, and escaped MVmon's Castle.

Season 2:

Now back home, Mike gave Jakisawa the syrum, which healed the former DPF Captain. But things began to look even worse. One of the members of the group, Zeke, had betrayed them. Even worse, another member named Zach died. Rio decided to leave the group, promising them that he would return. Everything began falling apart, and soon humans working for the Darkness Kingdom joined the group, disguised as normal Adventurers. These humans working for the Darkness Kingdom were Kai (played by Ryotaru), Kiabeth (played by LostProphet) and Jordan (played by HMR). But the group managed to hold themsleves high and surive, that's until Mike suddenly dissapeared.

Ryan (played by Ger) and Adam (played by SHR) stumbled on a portal, and found themselves in another part of the Digital World. Now all alone, the two Tamers must battle against ShadowWereGarurmon (played by Ger) and his army of ShadowGarurmon. Norby (played by BlueProdigy) also left the group, and was visited by the Ancient Digimon God: Goldramon. Holdramon gave Norby two magical spirits, and told Norby that he must learn magic to use them. Norby then journeyed to a village of Wizardmon, and met his new trainer, Agumon Hakase (played by me, Pumpy).

To keep the Tamers and Peace Lords busy, The Deep One unleashed a ancient army of evil known as The Watery Hosts (all played by Zedd's the Man). The Peace Lords, now recovered from their battle with King MVmon, went to war with these Evil Ocean Warriors. Meanwhile, the group of Tamers soon found where Mike had dissapeared too. Mike had been taken and expiermented on by two DPF Scientists, Professor Hamilton and Professor Alumvi. When the group saw Mike, they realized his appearence had changed. He was now a Digimon called Flamemon. Mike/Flamemon explained that these scientists had been testing on three other humans, turning the humans into BioDigimon. BioDigimon could turn from human to a Digimon in an instant. A electric steal cage then closed down on the Tamers, and the three BioDigimon appeared, ready to fight! The Tamers soon broke through to the BioDigimon, and helped the realizethat they were not war machines. The BioDigimon and Tamers then teamed up to escape the building just before it exploded. Professor Hamilton and Alumvi were killed in the explosion.

Back at the Darkness Kingdom, The Deep One learned that King MVmon had a partner. What the Deep One didn't learn was that this partner could jump between dimensions, and was very powerful. This partner's name was never revealed, but he is called Red-Mask (played by me, Pumpy). Meanwhile, MVmon's war general, Sealsdramon had his own agenda. Sealsdramon (played by me, Pumpy) decided to turn against King MVmon, and hired a group known as the Assassin 3 to kill the King once and for all. Sealsdramon then revealed he had been a double agent the whole time! All along he had actually been working for Dago, the Lord of The Darkness Dimension (which is also the dimension the Deep One is from). Sealsdramon, now at Mega Level strength, becomes the new ruler of the Darkness Kingdom.

While the Tamers were distracted by the BioDigimon, the Watery Hosts were busy destroying numerous areas of the Digital World. Before the Tamers could stop them, they had already reached their next target: The Darkness Kingdom. Sealsdramon and his army of Darkness battled the Watery Hosts and their army of Power. As the battle errupted, the Tamers soon found themselves in the middle of it. Teaming up with the Darkness Kingdom, the Tamers were able to drive back the Watery Hosts. But not for long. Omnimon, a member of the Watery Hosts, unleashed all his energy, destroying the Darkness Kingdom in the process. Thankfully, the Tamers were saved by the Digital Peace Lords/Gods. They returned to the Darkness Kingdom, only to find a meadow of grass and sunlight. The Darkness Kingdom had been destroyed, hopefully for good...

Season 3 (Thus Far)

Just when the Digital World reached it's brightest day, evil returned to shroud it in Darkness. While the group was relaxing in the peaceful meadow, Jessica and her Digimon partners wandered off to find some food. Hours later, her Digimon returned, injured and scared. Jessica had been kidnapped, and the girl who had done it demanded Jakisawa and Mike to show up before the end of the day....alone! Mike and Jakisawa journeyed to a lion-shaped cave to meet Gea The Conqueror, the teenage girl who had kidnapped Jessica. Soon Mike & Jakisawa found themselves locked in battle with Gea. Suddenly, a parasite sprouted from Jakisawa/Merkurimon's head. Merkurimon's judgement became clouded. The corrupted DPF Captain flew off, destroying the entire cave. Mike and Jessica returned to the group, only to find that Norby had left to learn how to control the two spirits Goldramon had given him. Mike began hearing voices in his head, which lead him to one of the largest volcanoes in the Digital World. Apollomon, Fire Guardian of the Digital World, told Mike about ten Legendary Spirits that contained great power. The first Spirit (The Spirit of Fire) was located inside the volcano. Apollomon gave Mike the Spirit, and together the Tamers defeated Merkurimon in battle. Merkurimon flew off, hoping to find the other nine Spirits.

To pick up where CS left off:

After the Watery Hosts battle, Jacob sought out help from a psychiatrist named Dr. Robert. Robert sent Jacob on a quest for the Darkness Spirits. He did battle with Lucemon:Chaos Mode to obtain them. After a heck of a battle Jacob emerged victorious and took the spirits to Dr. Robert who then taught Jacob to use them.

Norby, after the battle with Merukimon, went to the Reflective Sea. He was followed by two Darkness tamer, Gea and Jordan. The two darksiders had a brawl that Jordan won. Another new tamer emerged at the Reflective Sea: John Fargo. Norby was transported to a city under the sea to contend for the Spirits of Steel. He had first defeat a swarm of GreyYanmamon, then protect them from a Kimeramon before getting to fight the Spirit Guaudian, MetalEtemon. Even when MetalEtemon turned himself into KingEtemon it still was not enough to stop Norby from claiming the steel spirits. The GreyYanmamon helped Norby escape as the city began to be put underwater, but ask that he kill the entity known as Black Mask, who created the Kimeramon. Norby then returned to Tushita Palace where the Peace Lord Kuzuhamon had taken over his magic training.

Meanwhile, prior to her encounter with Jordan, Gea had gone venturing in the ruins of the Tomb of Murmuxmon. There she found a chest guarded by six statues. Ignoring the glyphs warnings, Gea opened the chest releasing the Six Hands of Vengeance: Callismon, Anubismon, PileVolcanomon, Barbamon,Zanbamon, and Pukumon. The Hands would then tear the digital World apart seeking the six crystals that contained Murmuxmon's fractal code. They have since obtained five of them despite encounters with a group of Grademon, a Parasimon, Slayerdramon and two battles with Arkadimon.

But the Hands are not the only new villains on the block, as Merukimon is visited by a strange entity called Shadow Kaiser. Lucemon would later receive a similar visit. Also Tushita Palace is attacked by Genzo, an aide of the Deep One. He harnesses the power of Kuzuhamon's Samadhi fire, which will completely destroy a digimon's fractal code, and almost completely destroys the palace. Meanwhile, Jordan, under the guise of Darkness Emperor, attacks the D.P.F.'s desert station, prompting the tamers into battle.

Before Shadow Kaiser visted Lucemon, the latter tried to defend the Light Spirits from Rio. It was not easy for Rio, as he delegated his only digimon to protecting Jessica who had traveled with him. Rio made his grand return at the volcano following the battle with Merukimon and was only a shadow of what the tamers had previously known him as. Patamon blames someone called EBEmon for this change. Change or not, Lucemon fails to protect the light spirits from Rio. As the battle at the desert base picks up, Patamon is unable to prevent Jessica from going to help.

Jordan is not the only bad guy at the base. Gea puts in an appearance as do Sean Margera and Kiabeth Perez. Gea tries to kill Mike again, but Jessica arrives to save him. She activates a hidden power allowing her to become the Princess of Light. She and Gea duel for a time until Norby and Kuzuhamon join the battle. Norby and Gea start dueling until Norby makes a startling discovery, Gea is his thought dead girlfriend Carly. Gea flees the battle afterward. After Jordan is forced to flee, the tamers are attacked, first by BlackMetalGarurumon's pack and then by Genzo. The latter destroys much of the former. The tamers try to harm him with little effect. He only retreats when the Peace Lord Machineramon and his Kimeramon general merge into Milleniummon and the Dimension Destroyer has to be interrupted by Deep One.

Norby pursues Carly to the Reflective sea and fights her again. Despite her merging with her Falcomon to become Ravemon, Norby is able to capture her. He takes her to Dr. Robert, who removes the Gea program from her mind. Meanwhile Jessica is attacked by her twin sister Jazzmin, who beats the snot out of her.

Justimon tries to get a lead on two NeoDigimon; NeoDorugoramon and NeoMagnadramon. He has a heck of a battle with a Chaosdramon who intended to capture him for Red Mask. Two new tamer later join Jordan's faction, Jazzmin and a guy named Eric Beck. What Jordan doesn't seem to know is that he is being pursed by a girl named Selena who has vowed to kill him.

Meanwhile Adam has a vision that calls him to the Power Plant to claim the Thunder Spirits. After a Thundermon and some Kokuwamon explain the conditions they live under, Adam attempts to venture into a secure area. He is jumped by two MegaKabuterimon. He defeats them and now is in battle with their boss, HerculesKabuterimon.

Likewise, Jessica and Jazzmin are caught up in the spirit craze being brought to the Sanctuary of the Wind Spirits. The Guardian, Vallisdramon, is putting them through their trials.

And finally, Merukimon is in the Sanctuary of the Ice Spirits fighting a MetalSeadramon of some sort. A Bugermon retsurant had been attacked by the Death Bandits. Rio has been in battle with a darker, more evil Lucemon. Norby and Carly encounter Goldramon again and watch a shadowy figure attack him. Ophanimon has secure the last of Murmuxmon's crystals and the tamers are gathering at the Bastian Fortress to protect it.

This is exactly what I would have said. While most of the RPG members are fighting the Hands of Vengeance, you can start your own mini-arc. During the mini-arc, I suggest spending your time introducing your character and his adventures. Make sure to read the entire summarey of the RPG before you begin playing (the summarey is a couple pages back. It is long, but after you read it you will be all caught up).

Yeah but that was his X form after the other knights empowered him. There's really no reason Omegamon shouldn't have easily killed Rosemon. It was just a kind of reverse godmodding to keep the heroes from getting crushed by the knights.

And that'll be the last action Barbamon takes for rest of the battle. The main concern was that the side fights were overshadowing Murmuxmon MM and Omnimon's battle.

Omnimon doesn't have a prayer in this fight, logically speaking. They're both mega II level, but Murmuxmon has experience, magic, and form changing plus five minions. All Omnimon has going for him is raw power, and it's not even that much.

Pretty much, introduce your character, give some history, and what you (your character and digimon) are doing now. Remember, you cannot reach past Ultimate yet, and you wouldn't want to rush your digivolutions. Remember, you are not with the other Tamers, and we will catch up to you later.

-First of all, I would like to welcome Zedd's back. He was on vacation for a few weeks, so its good to see him posting again. The final Genzo battle has arrived!
-I am still looking for a member to take on the Darkness Tamers. If any of you know a member who is great at RPing (and loves Digimon) then show them the way here.
-PJK has decided to quit the RPG. Her character is up for grabs. If nobody wants her character in five days, I will take it as my own.

Group Two News (New Members):

-Alright everyone, I have finally talked with each of you, and it seems most of you are all for the RPG. I have spent the past two or three days thinking & writing your first story arc for the RPG. It will have small tie-ins with Group One's story, but will mainly be seperate.
-Here's some news on your team. SHR (played a Senoir Character, Zach) will be leading the group. The group will always include Benji (Ger), Aaron (Go-On Gold), Dusk (Ragnorok), Cara (Speed Yellow), and possibly Nicole (Nekollx, still unsure if she still wants to join or not).
-If any of the new players have questions about the RPG, feel free to pm me.

ah Genzo is part of the deep ones army he is really really powerful he killed many digimon(inculeded two of mine)he is powered by a specail flame and stuff.this may not be a good description lol Scarlet you and the other new tamers dont need to worry though lol

Genzo is an aide of the deep one, with the abilty to take the powers of anything and trade off. He recently tapped into the power of Kuzuhamon's Samadhi fire, which completely destroys fractal code. There is no coming back from it.

But like Ger said, you really shouldn't worry.

He's the closest i'd say to a Bio-Hybrid. He started as a human but was corrupted into a non-human entity in the darkness world. The Deep One undoubtedly also made many modifications to his body with technology.

I meant that he modified Genzo's body. He also of course modified his own body: He recently said that he made it totally organic again instead of being mechanical.

BTW people, i'm not sure that you guys are quite grasping your position relative to Genzo, because you shouldn't really be able to shoot him. Here, here's a diagram.

But seriously, this is why I chose to use the closest I could find to continuous energy blasts from my digimon in order to wear down the fireball.

Strike attack: byebye to hand/head/foot/sword or whatever.
Blast attack: Good. However, I suggest constant as possible energy Blasts as bullets and missiles take too long to reload.

He has a thin shield but right now the majority of his fire is in the fireball so the shield should only protect him from 2-3 attacks if he's attacked from above the fireball.

EDIT: Um, You can knock rapidmon out to baby level, and if needed you can knock metalgreymon out to baby level. but please keep stingmon at champion level.

I understand. Right now i'm using phrases like "severally injured" so that the owner can decide just how injured, but using that can get really stale, especially if the owners ignore it. There's no confusion when you say "dedigivolved" but when you say "severally injured" people don't really seem to pay attention.

As most of you know, starting tomorrow a whole new group of Tamers will be entering the RPG. To avoid confusion, here is an example of the new posting format.

Basically, if your character is a long-time member of the RPG (Mike, Norby, Jacob, Adam, Ryan, Rio, Jessica, etc...) then you are part of Group 1. If you are a semi-new member you are part of Group 2. So make sure to add what group you are in for all of your posts.
