This is a revamp of the MMPR movie. My writing style isn't the best and this is a FANFIC, so please be nice if you criticise xD. All comments are welcomed though, so please do comment if you read!

Backstory: Many years ago, a powerful being known as Ivan Ooze rose up to claim the galaxy as his own. His plans were to crush the innocent and mould the entire Universe into his own army that would do his bidding, day and night. The purple warrior travelled across the galaxy, claiming planets in his name and building his army along the way...Until one day, he met his match. A small planet known as Eltare fought back, using a special type of weapon that harnessed the energies of spiritual animals. Using the powers of these animals, they managed to fight back against Ivan, sending him hurdling into space in a weakened gas state that would take millions of years to reform. The animal energies were forged into 12 powerful coins that were given to the planets most respected elder...Dulcea, whom vowed to take the coins far away from Eltare and protect them for all eternity.

As the years passed, Dulcea became lonely and wrote back home. She was sent three children to raise and being a warrior, she was completely at a loss. Instead, she trained the three children to be strong fighters and decided that these would be the children to take her place when it was her time to die. The galaxy became a peaceful one and many years later, on a different planet..Zordon, an Eltarian himeself, chose six teenagers to protect their planet from the evil forces of Lord Zedd. The battles were tough but nothing compared to the one that was about to take place...Ivan Ooze, in the darkness of space had reformed quicker than expected and intended to finish his plan to rule the Universe with more brutality than ever before...

This is the beginning of The Power Chronicles!

Character name: Ava Hart
Age: 17
Ranger role: Pink Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: Not the brainiest of people, but still rather smart. Ava is an incredible gamer and goes by the name of "LittleMissKickUrAss" whenever she gets a high score as she doesn't want her cheer squad to find out about it...Especially Kiara, the captain as she'd ruin her life if she found out. Ava has a close friendship with Myles due to their interest in gaming and she regularly bails him out from bullies. She is currently dating rising baseball star, Sebastian Oliver, though she finds less and less to talk with him about daily.

Character name: Myles Cranston
Age: 17
Ranger role: Blue Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: Myles is a GENIUS with a problem...He has a rare brain disease that is slowly reducing his memory capacity and has been told that by the time he reaches 21, he may lose his long term memory completely. As a result of this disease, Myles has to repeat bits of information that he is aware of to attempt to expand his memory...This usually pisses off whoever he is around, but Myles doesn't care. He has a huge crush on Ava and despises Sebastian.

Character name: Jaden DeSantos
Age: 18
Ranger role: Red Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: Not a leader by nature, but is very accepting as his role as red ranger. Jaden is extremely sporty and prefers to stay out of any sort of conflict. He is easy going and extremely witty at times. His love for baseball bonded him with his childhood friend Sebastian and although the two don't always see eye to eye, they manage to work things out in the end. When he isn't playing baseball, Jaden likes kick boxing at his dads gym but tries to avoid being there when his dad is around as he is pushed beyond his limits at times by him.

Character name: Aiden Park
Age: 18
Ranger role: Black Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: The more serious member of this group, Aiden likes to keep himself to himself with everyone else on the outside of the emotion barrier. When necessary, he is polite and curtious, but anyone can tell when this black ranger needs to be given some space. He was chosen by Zordon as second in command, due to his calm attitude towards battle, he is confident and shows it. When he isn't fighting Zedd's goons. Aiden likes to weave around the group, joining in whatever activities they do, which is usually video games, martial arts or baseball. His personal hobby is model building, but he'll never let anyone know of that one.

Character name: Sebastian 'Seb' Oliver
Age: 17
Ranger role: Green Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: Despite being the last ranger to join the team, Sebastian managed to fit in extremely well, gaining himself a girlfriend, a rival and a best friend all in one lovely little package. He comes across as extremely arrogant and jock-like to those that don't know him, but for the few that have seen him in his home setting, helping his mother cooking and playing with his brothers in the yard...They know that baseball star, Sebastian has alot more depth. He dislikes Myles due to the fear that Ava will one day see that he is a much better match for her than he is and so, he uses his cocky attitude as a front to intimidate the blue ranger.

Character name: Kiara Campbell
Age: 18
Ranger role: Yellow Ranger

Hobbies/Personality: Angel Grove's princess. Kiara's father is the mayor of Angel Grove, with her mother running an extremely successful line of bakeries that span across the entirety of California, though Kiara tells everyone that her mother owns a modelling agency to keep things under wraps for her popularities sake. Kiara dislikes Ava's genuine beauty and the fact that she neglects to use it as an advantage the way she does, Ava was set to be captain of the cheer squad, but declined the position, leaving Kiara to take the job...Something that has always bugged her, being second choice. Despite being a handful at times, Kiara is a great asset to the team with her extreme agility and fighting skills.

The desolate sky of Phaedos lit up with a tinge of purples and oranges, casting a sparkling glow over the plateau, on which a beautiful young warrior stood. Dulcea, guardian of the Ninjetti powers was meditating.

Her fingers suddenly exploded outwards, revealing her palms as three cloaked shadows dropped behind her. Cracking her knuckles, a smirk graced her beautiful face.

"Never disturb your master when she sleeps" Dulcea warned in her melodic tone. The three figures behind her shuffled into battle stances, the shortest one looking particularly awkard.

"Soften your stance, Halea" one of the shadows whispered to the smaller one.

Halea moved her her brown hair to one side as she pulled her hood up and adjusted her footing to follow instructions. "Okay"

As the three students looked back to Dulcea, they realised she had vanished. They had a perfect view of the gorgeous Neola Jungle, but their minds were far from the beauty of the jungle right now.

"Where is she?" The only male of the group asked. His voice boomed an echo that made Halea hop back a little, she was still not used to Creus' deep voice.

Without warning, Dulcea flickered in front of Creus, whirling her wooden staff around to hit him around the side of the head.

As quick as Creus blinked, Dulcea had vanished, as had the middle apprentice, Leda.

Several exploding sounds where heard before Dulcea reappeared, looking tired. Leda hopped down from wherever the battle had just taken place and dropped to her knees, her palms pressing a heavy amount of exhaustion into the plateau below her.

"Our master is growing old" Leda smirked, eyeing Halea to take a shot at the beautiful green warrior before the three of them.

Halea nodded without hesitation and leapt at Dulcea, shifting her position mid-air with deadly grace before planting a heavy kick against Dulcea's hands that had been held out to deflect such an attack.

The purple ninjetti apprentice backflipped and tried spiralling around Dulcea's rebound attack but failed and was promtly knocked down onto her butt.

She whimpered slightly and curled into a ball by Halea.

Creus laughed his booming, deep laugh before returning to his stance. Halea and Leda were out, which ruined his plans of getting in a strong blow whilst Dulcea was distracted.

He ran forwards, lifting one foot from the ground whilst shifting his right ankle to set him purposefully off balance. Creus' body span through the air and as he closed in on Dulcea, his strong fist propelled out at her.

In what seemed a flash, Dulcea had caught the muscled-up apprentice and tossed him into a nearby pile of wood. She smiled at him with smug intent before leaning on her staff wearily.

The three students bowed before their master and lowered their hoods which were attatched to their ninjetti garbs. Leda was the first to speak.

"We're improving right?"

"Of course you are All of you are" Dulcea aimed a purposeful, confidence boosting smile at Halea.

As the four began preparing a feast for the night. A sudden gust of purple hazed wind blew out the fire that Creus had only just finished setting up.

"Wind? There is never wind here..." Leda's nose wrinkled in suspicion.

Dulcea was now perched on the edge of the plateau. She seemed to be at peace, but abruptly whipped around looking at her three apprentices. "I need you to go".

"Go where?" Halea frowned

"Earth...Take the ninjetti coins with you, please, be careful!" Dulcea turned back towards the jungle to see an incoming wave of purple electricity thart exploded upon impact with any living object.

Creus grabbed ahold of Halea and began leading her away. Leda was still by Dulcea's side, holding onto her masters arm in panic.

"I-i-is it Ivan?" she managed to ask.

"That it is what I fear...You must find Zordon, I have word that he resides on planet Earth, go and be careful"

Leda took the bag of ninjetti coins from her master before vanishing in a swift dance of movements that even Dulcea couldn't follow right now.

"You will never get your hands on those coins, Ivan" Dulcea warned the purple smog before her.

It cackled manically before shifting its shape into a sharp attacking position and shooting at Dulcea.

A loud, piercing scream echoed throughout the planet Phaedos...And then...Silence.

Part one: Welcome to Angel Grove

Saturday morning in Angel Grove, California. A young brunette wearing a pink summer dress bounces happily down the street, with her hands behind her back in a playful manner.

Ava was doing the usual routine, dragging Myles to the arcade then off to watch Sebastian play baseball with Jaysen and Aiden. It didn't bother her that her life was so predictable, in fact, she rather liked it.

She stopped humming to her as she reached the gate to a small white house. Myles popped his thumb up from the window before running out of his front door to avoid his evil chihuahua that regularly bit him.

As he hopped over the fence, Ava giggled at him and his panic stricken face.

She reached over the fence and gently stroked the small dog with a smug grin on her face. "Thats a good girl".

"Don't refer to the devil hound as a 'she'" Myles performed a fake shudder as his arm was linked and he was lead away from his house.

Ava's muffled giggling could still be heard ten minutes later when they finally reached the small arcade on Juniper Street. "Did you know that in the last two years, we have visited this place 103 times, 104 now in the past two years...Every Saturday, Ava" Myles' proud grin faded as yet another fact had just popped out of his mouth.

"Makes you feel sorta good about your life huh?" The brunette rolled her eyes and lead Myles inside towards the new arcade game 'Kung-Fu Dragon III'

The morning passed as usual, with Myles franctically button mashing and counting the number of pixels that it took to create the dragon character whilst Ava effortlessly raked in the high scores and put her signature name in there.

A few soda's to rest up with and then it was off to Sebastian's baseball game. "Myles, just once, i'd like you to come with me...Seb will be nice"

It didn't take much convincing past Ava promising to hold Myles' hand throughout the game for him to agree to come along.

He entered the nearby stand with his grey hood pulled over his head and made sure that Ava sat on the back of the stand. Seb was surely not going to be happy that he was here. As if working as his 'side kick' as a Power Ranger wasn't bad enough.

"Relax" Ava whispered to him as Sebastian came towards them. Jaden, as predicted was close behind, to keep his green friend in check.

"Hey babe" The couple kissed gently but as Ava pulled back, Sebastian made sure that their fingers interlocked, despite how comfortable it looked and felt.

Myles and Sebastian exchanged a daring look before they both broke into fake smiles.

"You have fun today, smiles?"

Jaden rolled his eyes at the juvenile nickname Sebastian had given the blue ranger and sat back on one of the benches.

"Does a macaca fascicularis like banana's?"

Ava giggled before promtly nudging Myles to give a straight answer to her extremely confused boyfriend.

"Yes, I had fun" Myles grunted

An uncomfortable silence followed until Jaden finally spoke up. "Say, Ava, you should join the game today...I'm sure you'd do much better than Seb out there" he chuckled.

Seb rolled his eyes and nudged Jaden in the shoulder. "She'd show you a thing or two, thats for sure"

"Thanks, really...But i'd rather sit here and cheer" Ava dismissed the offer with a smile.

The game was about to start, Jaden spotted Kiara and the cheerleaders sitting as close to the field as they could.

"Just take her for a smoothie, man" Sebastian saw through his friends thoughts.

"She's nice and all, but, dude, she has the depth of an empty shot glass"

"Hah, girls in Angel Grove lack any depth, my friend" the green ranger felt a burning pain in his hand and realised that Ava was squeezing the life out of it. "I'm kidding!"

The game passed pretty slowly in Myles' eyes. He knew little about baseball and hated that Sebastian was so good at it. He spent most of the game thinking up tactics to beat Ava's video game scores.

An abrupt beeping sound from his wrist watch caused all of the rangers to look at each other with concern. It was time.

Kiara signalled that they would handle it for now, before informing her squad that she needed the bathroom and leaving the green and red rangers to continue their game.

The rangers met up behind a nearby block of vending machines. Aiden answered the call, immediatly assuming his position as second in command.

"Zordon, we read you"

"Rangers, Alpha and I have detected a battle between Zedd's army and an unknown force, three very strong warriors with powers similar to your own"

The rangers exchanged glances of shock.

Aiden spoke once more.

"We'll check it out"

"May the power protect you"

Before Aiden had lowered his wrist from his chest, Kiara, Ava and Myles already had their uniquely coloured morphers in hand.

A smirk came to his face as he pulled out his own morpher.

"It's morphin' time!"

A multicoloured glow exploded from the other side of the vending machines before shooting up into the sky and heading towards the battle of unknown forces.

Within seconds of landing on the long green field, the rangers had been attacked by the silver, orange and purple power rangers that they had been warned of by Zordon.

Aiden and Kiara took it upon themselves to keep the rangers busy whilst Ava and Myles kept Goldar's goons from causing chaos around the city.

"Should we really be fighting those guys?" Myles asked as he performed a roundhouse kick, knocking two putties to the ground.

"I don't know, but they attacked us"

Ava sprung backwards gracefully, blocking a punch from Goldar with her knee before whipping the back of her hand across his blue face.

"Rangers versus rangers, this should be interesting"

"Don't get your hopes up, monkey...You're still gonna get your ass kicked" Ava dodged a strike from his sword and stopped briefly to monitor a fight between Aiden and the two unknown female rangers.

The black rangers power axe was weaving around the two rangers with curious attacks. Aiden didn't want to kill these rangers, just hurt them enough to tell him why they were here.

"Why are you attacking us?"

Halea, beneathe her purple helmet winced at the question. She was under strict orders not to speak a word of their mission. Not even to a fellow ranger. She ducked another swipe from the axe.

"Leda, please"

The orange ranger grunted at the plea from her friend.

She drew her ninjetti claws and countered the power axe, sliding the axe upwards until it was above the black rangers head. A screeching metal sound erupted from the colliding weapons.

Aiden winced at the strength that this petite female posessed. Pulling down with all his might, he managed to budge the locked weapons into a more comfortable position, but was still unable to break the hold.

"Halea! Get him!" Leda ordered, but the purple ranger hesitated, grasping her ninjetti sais close to her chest in a childish manner.

Catching Leda off guard, Aiden brought up his knee, hitting her square in the gut before spiralling away with his power axe in the defensive position.

Kiara passed the black ranger as she somersaulted to kick the huge silver ranger with the heel of her boot. She was abruptly caught mid air and tossed away into Myles.

The two rangers collided with an "UMPH!" before rolling into a confused pile of blue and yellow armour.

Ava winced as she saw Kiara's failed attack and decided it was time to get rid of the monkey.

"Pterodactyl Thunder Whip!"

A small pink device shot out a taffy-like whip that wrapped around Goldar. Ava tugged on the whip, tripping the warrior up before retracting the whip and lashing it down on his golden armour once more.

As predicted, Goldar couldn't stand the humiliation.

"You'll pay for this!" He clutched his chest in pain and ordered the putties to back away. They vanished in a golden light.

Myles and Kiara were helped up by the pink ranger just as Aiden was tossed to the ground.

He rolled across the grass and landed at the feet of the weakened rangers.

Creus and Leda stood confidently with Halea in a defensive position, slightly behind the two.

"What is your business here?" Ava asked, with a slight threatening undertone.

"That is none of your concern"

Halea pushed forward, nudging Creus for his rude answer. "Guys, come on, they're rangers too!"

Leda shook her head and passed the purple ranger. "Unless you know of Zordon, you are no use to us" she rose her ninjetti claws and began gathering a ball of energy in her hands.

"Zordon? No wai-"

Kiara was cut off as a flash of green and red light shot by. Sebastian slid across the ground, tripping Leda up and sending her energy blast into the sky whilst Jaden leapt into the air and brought a heavy elbow strike down on Creus' shoulder.

The red and green rangers spiralled backwards, before standing back to back in a defensive position between the ninjetti rangers and the others.

"When you have finished" Aiden shook his head at the entrace, the two had just made before informing them that these "enemies" knew of Zordon.

"What do you want with Zordon?"

"You know of him?" Creus asked, rubbing his sore shoulder.

Jaden smirked beneathe his helmet. Admiring his work on the silver ranger.

"We were sent here by Dulcea, guardian of the Ninjetti spirits to speak with him"

Halea recieved deadly glares from her allies.

"Ninjetti? Dulcea?" Jaden rubbed his helmet in mock-confusion

"None of your concern, now, if you really know of him, contact him"

As Leda snapped, Zordon spoke via Sebastian's communicator.

All fell silent as the tension between the rangers instantly ended. Myles was even comfortable enough with the situation to demorph and was shortly followed by Ava and Jaden.

"Apprentices of Dulcea, I should have known" Zordon's voice boomed from the communicator. "I'll have Alpha teleport you all here immediatly"

*** Lord Zedd's Moon Palace ***

Several putties fluttered about before Lord Zedd's throne in a desperate attempt to save their pitiful lives. Rita seemed to be enjoying the show, but Zedd was growing ever-more impatient as he waited for his general to enter the room.

Goldar abruptly smashed the doors open with his palms. He grunted as Mordant followed closely behind him, mocking him for losing to the pink ranger.

"I think we should have pig for lunch, master" Goldar glared at Mordant.

"Oh, but i'm craving roasted monkey" Rita cackled, causing Goldar to flinch.

Zedd rose his hand to the air and instantly, the whole room bowed in silence. Rita even respected Zedd's intrusion for once and sat back in her throne beside him.

"Dulcea's followers...Did they tell you anything of thier business?"

"Well we shot them out of the sky! And then were about to-"

Mordant was cut off as Zedd's staff pressed its cold steel against his snout. He gulped and closed his eyes. "You found NOTHING!?" Zedd's voice boomed throughout the room like a grenade.

Lord Zedd's palace doors slammed open once as a purple smog filled the room, it twisted and folded around Zedd pulling him away from Mordant.

"What is this!? I demand that you let go!"

Goldar stood up immediatly, drawing his sword as Rita reached for her staff and began zapping the gas. But nothing affected it, she groaned and dropped back to her throne in a childish manner.

The smog slowly began to take shape. A wide, bright smile shone through it with yellow eyes before a purple humanoid stood by the doors that he had blown open.

"Perhaps, I can be of assistance?" Ivan grinned.

Rita dropped from her thrown to bow by the side of Zedd as they recognised the figure. Goldar looked confused but followed suit alongside Mordant.

"The great, Ivan Ooze!" Zedd's tone had completely changed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah" Ivan blushed a dark purple before snapping his fingers.

The room was suddenly filled with purple warriors that easily outnumbered the putty patrollers.

"We are to use your palace as a base whilst we find and destroy those power brats"

Zedd stood up. "The alien power rangers? What is your business with them?"

"They have the ninjetti power coins"

Rita grinned brightly. "Oh this is going to be fun".

[Titanium Ranger]

That wasn't bad at all man, it was nothing short of awesome! I didn't think anyone could do a revamp of the movie but this, this sounds epic! lol. I love the characters; haha, poor Myles scared of a chihuahua :p. Ava is so typically endearing, she reminds of Kimberly (which is always good :D). The whole Phadeos thing was well panned out; it was good to peek into that world.

Overall, an awesome intro dude. I love the interaction, between both villains and rangers. Goldar's.... loserness (no other word haha) has me laughing. And the high school thing... PR definitely needs that!

I think I'm done now lol. Looking forward to the next few chapters :D.

I read this a few days ago and meant to post but I always forgot to. So here I go.

The story is amazing, and I love how it weaves together. I just have to say, sometimes it's unclear who's saying what and what's really going on. You should add more detail around the dialogue like you do when you write RPG posts, although you don't need the length, it helps the story along. The characters are awesome and their interaction is great. All in all I'm looking forward to reading this!

[Gold Ranger]

Two words:

kick. ass.

No other words are needed. None at all. As a fellow writer, I can so no more than this: this story kicks all the other PR movie FF's asses to hell and back. It makes me want to do an Irish step dance around a somberro. Even though I go two steps and fall. Truly amazing, Lee.

And the story line's not half bad, either.
