The Road not taken (a WWE fanfiction)

Note: WWE and all personalities, catchphrases, etc are registered to World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. These work does not resemble the actual storylines run by WWE, even though the people mentioned are real. I use this year’s actual One Night Stand event as a starting point and use a few of the matches, but from then on, it’s all me.

Thanks to GoldPhoenixRanger for inspiring me to commit these storylines that have been in my head to the page.

Updates will probably be slow in the coming, as I have many other projects going on. If I can’t tell that anyone’s reading it. I will stop doing it.

Thank you and enjoy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monday Night Raw
(1 week before One Night Stand)

Jim Ross: Welcome to Monday Night Raw. One Night Stand is just around the corner, and tonight many superstars will seek to establish momentum. Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler here at ringside.

Jerry Lawler: One Night Stand is where Extreme rules. We’re gonna see who rules tonight. And our main event is awesome; an eight man tag. Edge, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and JBL to take on Triple H, John Cena, Batista, and Shawn Micheals.

*We see Vickie Guerrero and Armando Estrada in the ring*

Ross: Armando Estrada, the General Manager of ECW and Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero in the ring. Of course, Raw’s GM got the boot last week after losing a match to Mr. Kennedy.

[No Chance]

*Vince McMahon walks down to the ring*

Vince McMahon: Now, I bet you two want to know why I told you to be at Raw.

*Guerrero nods from her wheelchair*

Vince: Well there’s going to be number of changes to the brand extension that will kick in at One Night Stand. But before we get to that, I have to say, the approval rating on you two is plummeting.

*Fans cheer*

Vince: Let me explain what I expect of my General Managers. I expect them to be able to keep things fresh and exciting. I expect them to be responsible with the resources and talent provided. But most of all, I expect them to make decisions that are good for business.

Lawler: Uh-oh.

Vince: Regal pulled the plug during a championship match. That’s not good for business, considering how much hate-mail it brought in.

Ross: I think someone’s gonna get taken out to the woodshed.

Vince: Armando, airtime is very precious for your brand. Yet you waste it to make life miserable for an upstart that hasn’t been around long enough to be cared about. You could be devoting that time to carrying more than one storyline into a pay-per-view. That’s not good business.

*Vince turns to Guerrero*

Vince: And Vickie, where should I begin with you? Fraternizing with your roster, impairing your judgment. Stripping somebody of a duly earned championship, because he keeps beating your fiancé.

Vickie: He kept using a chokehold.

Vince: That’s not what my advisors say. They found no fault with said maneuver. And when I tried to call you into account for it, you blew off the meeting, saying you didn’t have time. When I tell you to come talk to me, you make time. Insubordination is not good business. Pissing off the fans to the extent that you have is not good business.

Lawler: I don’t see good fortunes in their future.

Vince: So to steal one of Triple H’s lines, I expect my GM’s to make decisions on what’s best for business. And since you two obviously are not-- down with that--- I got two words for ya.

*Fans chant “Suck It.” Vince looks at them like they’re crazy*

Vince: Actually, I was thinking more along the lines ….

*Vince gets in Estrada’s face*

Vince: ….. of “You’re fired!”

*Vince turns to Vickie and kneels down to look her in the eye*

Vince: You’re fired!

Vickie: No!

Vince: Security, get these lowlifes out of my ring.

*Security shows up to remove Vickie and Estrada from the ring*

Vince: One thing I have become convinced of is that I need some help keeping my GM’s in line. To that end I am reactivating the position of WWE Commissioner. This person will answer only to me and will oversee the day-to day one the road activities of the brands. This person helped me decide on the changes that will be implemented at One Night Stand.

Lawler: This is gonna be good.

Vince: So at this time, I would like the Commissioner of World Wrestling Entertainment to come out to this ring.

[Ya know it’s the MacMililtant, comin’ to get it on]

*Theodore Long comes down to the ring. Vickie gives him a dirty look as security wheels her away*

Ross: My god, it’s Theodore Long.

Lawler: This is huge.

Ross: And this night’s just getting started, King.

*Long enters the ring and takes a microphone*

Long: Let me holla at ya, playa! As commissioner, it is my responsibility to regulate the GM’s. But before I introduce the three new GM’s, let me explain some of the changes that are gonna be taking place. I have thrown out Vickie Guerrero’s ruling on the World Heavyweight title and awarded it back to the Undertaker.

*Fans cheer*

Long: I have canceled the two title matches on the books at One Night Stand. The main event will be the WWE Champion Triple H vs. the World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker vs. the ECW Champion Kane in a winner take all triple threat match to unify the three titles into one. Ya feel me? Similarly the tag team titles will also be unified.

Ross: That will be historic, no doubt about it. Though I wonder how Edge and Randy Orton will feel about it.

Long: Before I go on, I need my GM’s out here. We’ll start with Smackdown. Replacing Vickie Guerrero on Smackdown is a man of very few words, a man who has established himself as an impartial person. I think this man will handle himself very well as the General Manager of Smackdown. Please welcome, Ron Simmons!

[I’ll be Damned! APA theme]

*Simmons comes out wearing a Smackdown shirt and walks quietly to the ring*

Simmons: I have only one thing the say at this time.

*Simmons shakes his head*

Simmons: Damn!

Long: Since the ECW title is going to be a part of the WWE Triple Crown Heavyweight Title, and the third brand has really lost touch with the old ECW, I can no longer justify calling it that.

Lawler: That’s weird.

Ross: The old ECW is dead, but its spirit, I think lives on.

Long: Our Tuesday night show will henceforth be known as Tuesday Nite Heat. And the one I’ve chosen to run it knows a thing or two about heat, ya feel me? She is a former Playboy cover girl and an active competitor for many years here. I’m confident this young lady will bring the third brand to where it can compete with the other two. Please welcome, Torrie Wilson!

[“Need a Little Time”]

*Torrie comes out in an orange pantsuit, which some fans boo. She just smiles at them and approaches the ring*

Long: As for Raw, I saw a long a promising people, but in the end I chose a man, who has been a fixture on Raw for much of its existence. A former recognized world champion, this guy has proven to be one of the most realistic, popular, and knowledgeable people in this industry. So allow me to introduce to you, the new General Manager of Monday Night Raw…

*Long exits the ring and walks over to the announce table*

Long: …Jerry “The King” Lawler!

Lawler: What?

Ross: Surprise, King!

Lawler: You knew?

Ross: They did let me in on it. I’m shocked though. They know how I tend to spoil surprises.

Long: I’ve already picked someone to replace you at the announce table, playa. Now to One Night Stand the main change will be….Vince, you wanna do this one?

Vince: Thank you, Teddy. One Night Stand will play host to this year’s draft. This year we’ll really shake things up. At One Night Stand we will completely redraft the rosters…. from scratch.

Ross: What?

Vince: Now what will this do to the titles? Well let me explain.

*As Lawler gets into the ring, Torrie takes Simmons’ microphone*

Torrie: All due respect, Mr. McMahon, but we have a whole week to cover this. And I think this crowd is about ready for a match.

*Crowd cheers*

Torrie: So why don’t we each pull a member of our roster and have a triple threat match to set the draft order?

*More cheers*

Torrie: The one that gets the fall, his brand has the first pick of the draft. The brand of the superstar not involved in the fall will have the second pick, and the other brand will go third.

*Lawler nods*

Vince: I knew you were more than just a pretty face. We’ll do that right now.

[No Chance]

Ross: Triple threat with huge implications. We’ll be back.

(Commercial Break)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[“Time to Rock and Roll”]

*Trish Stratus is approaching the announce table*

Ross: Welcome back to Raw, ladies and gentlemen, as I’m about to be joined here at ringside by Trish Stratus. For those just tuning in, the King has been promoted to Raw General Manager.

*Trish sits down and puts the headset on*

Trish: Am I on, J.R.?

Ross: Loud and clear.

Trish: I got some big shoes to fill here, but I’m gonna do my best.

[If ya Know... S.O.S. I hear them shouting! S.O.S. I hear them crying!]

*Kofi Kingston comes out to the ring*

Ross: This match will have huge implications for One Night Stand.

Lillian Garcia: The following is a triple threat match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing Tuesday Nite Heat, from Jamaica, weighing 218 lb., Kofi Kingston.

Trish: I’ve heard a lot about this guy. Only one loss the entire time he’s been on ECW, which is now Heat.

Ross: High flyer, some very unique offense to say the least. Kofi Kingston may be on Heat now, but next week after the draft, this young man could be on Raw.

[Hello, Ladies]

*Val Venis comes out to the ring*

Garcia: Representing Monday Night Raw, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 244 lb., Val Venis.

Trish: Well if it ain’t the Big Valbowski. Why did he shave his head?

Ross: I heard he lost a bet, but I can’t verify that. Val Venis is a veteran. Former Intercontinental Champion. Val can get it done, no question.

[Motorcycle revs]

*Chuck Palumbo rides out on his motorcycle*

Ross: This will be a guy to watch, that’s for sure.

Garcia: Representing Friday Night Smackdown, from San Diego, California, weighing 280 lb., Chuck Palumbo.

Trish: Didn’t he used to date Billy Gunn?

Ross: He ain’t been with much anyone here lately on Smackdown. His last relationship was with Michelle McCool.

*Palumbo gets in the ring, Bell sounds.*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1
Chuck Palumbo vs. Val Venis vs. Kofi Kingston

Palumbo starts off like a house of fire knocking down Kofi. Val then forces Palumbo into the corner and start chopping him in the chest. Palumbo eventually powers out and kicks Val down and then knocks Kofi down in the corner. Palumbo kicks Val in the gut but turns into a dropkick from Kofi. Kofi then does the “Boom Boom Boom” knee drop. Val hits Kofi from behind with a clothesline. Val then goes up top for the Money Shot. He misses when Kofi moves out of the way. Palumbo hits Val with a superkick, knocking him out of the ring. Kofi scores Trouble in Paradise on Palumbo to pick up the win.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Garcia: Here is your winner, Kofi Kingston.

Trish: So it’s Heat, Raw, Smackdown in the draft order, right?

Ross: That’s how I understand it. This Kofi Kingston is impressive. He has done Heat proud tonight.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back stage:

*The three new GM’s, Long and Vince are watching the monitor.

Torrie: Good job, Kofi. I hope I get him back.

Simmons: About a one in three shot.

*Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes enter, sporting the World Tag Team title belts on their shoulders*

Hardcore: Long, explain to me about how the tag team titles are supposed to be unified. They’ll be stuck on one brand.

Long: Relax playa. You see; the Triple Crown Title, the unified Tag titles, the Women’s Title, and a couple others will be contested on all three brands. Ya feel me?

Rhodes: So it’s us against Miz and Morrison at One Night Stand?

Long: Not quite. Ya see, at One Night Stand, you two will defend the World Tag Team Titles against, Paul London and Brian Kendrick, against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, and Cryme Tyme. Miz and Morrison will have a similar match and later in the evening the winners will fight.

Rhodes: That sounds cool.

Hardcore: Don’t go talking like Carlito. Thank you…Commissioner.

*Rhodes and Hardcore leave*

Long: Holla.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Paul and Katie Lea Burchill walk through the hall.*

Trish: This ain’t gonna be pretty.

Ross: There’s some personal business gonna be settled here. Paul Burchill will go one on one with Mr. Kennedy….

Trish: Kennedy.

Ross: …when we come back.

(Commercial Break)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Kennedy! “Turn up the trouble”]

Garcia: The following contest scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, weighing 235 lb., Mr. Kennedy.

*Kennedy gets in the ring and calls down the hanging mic.*

Kennedy: I understand that Paul Birchill and his “loose” sister were displeased that I got their homeboy, William Regal, fired last week after our match. You wanna do something about it, Paul? Well, come to this ring, and you too will be beaten and battered at the hands of MISSSSS-TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KEN-NNE-DYYYYYYYYYY!

*Moment of silence*

Kennedy: Ken-ne-dy.

*Mic returns to the ceiling*

[Hard rock theme plays]

*Paul and Katie Burchill come out*

Garcia: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by Katie Lea, from Chelsea, England, weighing 247 lb, Paul Burchill.

*Paul Burchill gets in the ring*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 2: Mr. Kennedy vs. Paul Birchill w/Katie Lea

Birchill tries to establish an offense, but quickly is taken down by a clothesline from Kennedy. Kennedy tries to follow up but is tripped by Katie on the outside. Paul is quick to go for the cheapshot. He goes for the Twisted Sister but it is countered. Burchill is slung off the ropes and runs right into the Mic-Check. Kennedy gets the pinfall.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Garcia: Here is your winner; Mr. Kennedy.

*Kennedy hits the Mic-Check on Katie Lea*

Ross: Wait a minute!

Trish: What did he do that for?

Ross: For the hell of it I guess.

*Kennedy walks up the ramp smiling while Paul tends to his sister. Paul looks very angry*

Trish: Somehow, I think this rivalry has only begun.

Ross: I fear, you are right
------------------------------------------------
Office:
*Long and the GM’s are talking when Randy Orton charges in*

Long: Something I can do for you, playa?

Orton: You canceled my title match with Triple H. I want my match back.

Long: I’m not certain I like your tone, Randy.

Lawler: Just cool it, Randy. We’ll work something out.

Simmons: We might need a ruling here, commish. Cause Edge is gonna give me the same problems.

Torrie: Hang on. I think I may have a compromise.

*Orton looks at her suspiciously*

Torrie: Estrada booked some Singapore Cane match for One Night Stand. It was supposed to decide the number one contender for the ECW title. Now we could still have this match, add Edge and Mr. Orton to it…

Long: We’ll have to take Morrison out of it

Torrie: True, and we can fill in the blanks of the match later.

Orton: For such a bimbo, that just might work.

*Torrie scoffs*

Torrie: If I were you, Randy, I’d be careful what you said about us until after the draft. Lest you have to take orders from the “bimbo”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Maria and Ashley are talking as Melina walks up to them*

Melina: Look, I don’t like you two, but we gotta work together tonight. Beth is mine tonight so stay out of my way.

Ashley: Lead on.

*Melina walks off*

Ashley: What do you think?

Maria: She’s just cranky. Come on.

Ross: Six-diva tag team action is next.

(Commercial Break)
----------------------------------------------------
[“Paparazzi”]

*A swarm of photographers crowds the entrance ramp as Melina comes out*

Garcia: The following is a six-diva tag team contest scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California; Melina.

*Melina approaches the ring apron and pulls off her entrance perfectly*

Trish: How does she do that?

Ross: Melina’s flexibility, well documented. But she does have a bit of a mean streak.

Trish: I bet King loved that entrance.

Ross: One of the highlights of his night. You gotta believe that he hopes Melina stays on Raw after the draft.

[You’d better hold on tight…..]

*Ashley sprints down to the ring*

Garcia: Introducing her partners, first from Long Island, New York; Ashley.

Ross: Ashley, almost not waiting to be introduced.

Trish: I’ve been stumbling through this color analyst stuff, but now I’m in some familiar territory.

Ross: And ya gotta believe that the Women’s Champion, Mickie James, is watching this match very closely.

Trish: Without a doubt. If she isn’t, I’m going back there and kicking her ass.

Ross: Be careful what you ask for.

[Here She Comes Again...]

*Maria comes out, blows a kiss to the crowd and throws off her hoodie*

Garcia: And, from Chicago, Illinois; Maria.

* Maria walks down to the ring*

Ross: Maria, wowing the fans tonight as always.

*We cut to a scene in the back briefly where Mickie James is watching the match on a monitor*

Trish: Good, Mickie is watching.

[Ya Know You Want Meeeeeeeeeee!]

*Jillian Hall comes out, wearing a headset mic. She is booed*

Garcia: Introducing their opponents, first, from Louisville, Kentucky; Jillian Hall.

Jillian: I know I got a match, but first I’ve got something for these fans. A nice song.

*More boos. Jillian begins singing an awful rendition of “Always” by Saliva.*

Trish: Someone come and give this woman some lessons.

[I Ain’t the Lady to Mess With]

*Victoria comes out, snatches Jillian’s mic off her face, throws it to the ground and steps on it.*

Victoria (no mic): You suck, Jillian. Get down to the ring.

Trish: You tell her, Victoria.

Garcia: Introducing her partners first, from Los Angeles, California; Victoria

*Victoria and Jillian argue as they walk to the ring*

[“Glamazon”]

*Beth Phoenix comes out and holds the “phantom belt” up high.*

Garcia: And from Buffalo, New York; Beth Phoenix: The Glamazon.

Ross: The Glamazon claims to the perfect combination of beauty and strength. Certainly Beth Phoenix is the most powerful diva we’ve had in recent years.

Trish: Key words being “in recent years.” Beth Phoenix has been running her mouth saying she’s the strongest diva ever. Beth, I’ve wrestled Chyna, and you’re not Chyna.

*Phoenix does her somersault off the turnbuckle*
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 3: Melina, Ashley and Maria vs. Jillian, Victoria, and Beth Phoenix

Maria starts off against Victoria. Victoria gains the upper hand quickly, dragging Maria to her corner. Jillian tags herself in and Maria is stomped in the corner by Jillian and Victoria. As Maria tries to get up, Jillian goes for her handspring elbow, but she misses. Maria darts over to her corner and gets the tag to Ashley. Jillian walks right into a right hand from Ashley. Jillian scores a shot to the gut before stumbling to her corner, where Phoenix gets the tag. Ashley is triple teamed in the corner while referee restrains Melina who is trying to come in illegally. After a while, Ashley manages to get out of the predicament and get a tag to Melina with Beth in the ring. Melina cleans house and quickly goes for the Extreme Makeover, it is countered. Beth hits the Glam Slam, goes for the cover, Maria breaks up the fall. As the referee tries to get Maria out of the ring, Natalya Neidhart slips in and kicks Melina in the face. However, the ref sees it and calls for the bell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Garcia: Your winners, as a result of a disqualification, Maria, Ashley & Melina

Trish: Well if the ref doesn’t see it, it ain’t cheating. Unfortunately for Natalya, this time, the ref saw it.

*Beth shoves Natalya*

Ross: And I don’t think the Glamazon wanted the assist.

*Natalya, Jillian, Victoria and Beth start fighting*

Trish: Well, so much for this team.

Ross: These four women are beating the hell out of each other.

*Referees show up to separate them*
------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

*The GMs and Long are watching the diva brawl. Torrie shakes her head at the diva brawl*

Torrie: My, what big egos these girls have.

*Mickie comes into the office*

Mickie: You wanted to see me, Mr. Long.

Long: Yeah, baby girl. We’ve decided you need to be defending your Women’s Championship at One Night Stand. Ya feel me? We’d like your insight as to what kind of match it should be.

Mickie: You can use Raw Roulette for all I care. Just like I told Mr. McMahon. I’m game for anything.

*Simmons points to the corner of the room*

Simmons: Is this it in the corner here? Vince must have had it sent here.

*We see the Raw Roulette wheel*

Lawler: Yeah. Let’s get it out here.

*He and Simmons move the wheel out*

Lawler: Alright, Mickie, give it a spin.

*Mickie spins the wheel*

Mickie: Let’s see what we get.

*The wheel stops and all are wide-eyed*

Torrie: Oh, my god.

Lawler: Ron, I think there’s a line here.

Simmons: Damn!

*We look at the wheel, which has landed on “Hell in the Cell”*

Trish: You gotta be kidding me!

*Mickie nods and walks away*

Ross: The Divas in Hell in the Cell? Is Mr. McMahon gonna let this stand?

(Commmercial Break)
---------------------------------------------------------------

[Yo! yo! yo! yo! Shad Gaspard and JTG. It’s Cryme Tyme]

*Shad and JTG come out*

Ross: Welcome back to Raw. Jim Ross and Trish Stratus here at ringside, getting set for tag team action.

Trish: And this team will be involved in the championship unification series for the Tag Team Titles at One Night Stand. Big Shad and JTG will be looking to build momentum tonight.

Garcia: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York at a combined weight of 530lb.; Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme.

*We see Robbie and Rory McAllister waiting in the ring.*

Garcia: And introducing their opponents, in the ring, from Oban, Scotland, at a combined weight of 34 stone; Robbie and Rory; The Highlanders.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 4: Cryme Tyme vs. The Highlanders

Shad starts against Rory, but the match does not get far as Umaga charges in and Samoan spikes everyone, even the referee.

Result: No Contest
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ross: Now what is the meaning of this? Umaga just Samoan spiked five men. And for what?

*Umaga grabs a microphone*

Umaga: (lets out a steady stream of Samoan, among which the only intelligible words are “Jeff Hardy”)

Trish: He’s sending a message to Jeff Hardy, who he will face, Falls count anywhere, at One Night Stand.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstage:

Vince is standing by with Todd Grisham

Grisham: With me at this time is the Chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon. And sir, there are many questions heading into the draft and One Night Stand.

Vince: I’m sure there are, Todd. But just to make one thing clear, Mickie James suggested to me using Raw Roulette to decide her match this Sunday. She made me promise to honor what it landed on. Therefore at One Night Stand, the WWE Women’s Championship will indeed be defended inside Hell in the Cell. I’ll get to all questions in time, trust me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ross: Well, with or without the draft, One Night Stand is shaping up to be an exciting event. And this main event may be a reason why.

WWE Triple Crown Unification match
Triple H vs. Undertaker vs. Kane

Trish: Winner take all, all the gold at stake. This will be a historic match.

Ross: Umaga and Jeff Hardy will be vicious as will this.

Stretcher Match
Shawn Micheals vs. Batista

Trish: Brutal by definition as this match will be as well.

First blood
John “Bradshaw” Layfeild vs. John Cena

Ross: Who’s gonna bleed? Who’s gonna survive? And survival will be key in another match. And Mr. McMahon has just made it official, as you’ve heard.

WWE Women’s Championship: Hell in the Cell

Ross: I understand that ten different women will be inside this demonic structure, the identity of one of them is being withheld.

Trish: I’m glad I’m retired. I don’t think I could handle this. I can handle these three matches, though.

WWE World Tag Team Championship unification series

Ross: Tag titles gonna be reunified.

Fatal four way match (World Tag Titles)
Hardcore & Rhodes vs. Cade & Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme vs. Kendrick & London

Trish: These four teams from Raw will fight for the World Tag Team Championship

Fatal four way match (WWE Tag Titles)
Miz & Morrison vs. Jesse & Festus vs. Deuce & Domino vs. Hawkins & Ryder

Trish: These Smackdown and ECW teams will battle for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Ross: The winners of these two matches will then face off to unify the gold.

Singapore Cane Match for #1 contendership

Trish: And this match will determine the #1 contender for the Triple Crown Title at Night of Champions.
----------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Triple H and Shawn Micheals get ready for their match as Batista approaches. He glares at HBK before walking away.

Ross: Eight man tag team action coming up next.
--------------------------------------------------------------
(Commercial Break)

[“My Time is Now”]

*John Cena comes out and the fans come unglued*

Ross: Welcome back to Raw and it’s time for our main event.

Trish: The Champ is here, with or without a belt.

Garcia: The following eight-man tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing 240 lb., John Cena.

Ross: Cena has got a score to settle with JBL at One Night Stand, First blood.

Trish: But he needs to focus on tonight first.

[uhuhuh Oh.. Oh OH!]

*Shawn Micheals comes out as Cena gets into the ring*

Garcia: from San Antonio, Texas, weighing 225 lb., The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Micheals.

Trish: HBK comes out and the show stops.

Ross: The Showstopper faces Batista this Sunday at One Night Stand. But tonight they have to get along.

[“I Walk Alone”]

*Batista comes out and glares at Shawn Micheals as HBK joins Cena in the ring. Cena looks worried.*

Garcia: From Washington D.C., weighing 290lb., Batista.

Ross: Batista looks as intense as ever.

*Batista approaches the ring. Cena steps between him and Micheals*

Trish: Cena trying to keep order here. This team’s gonna be a little dysfunctional.

[Time to Play The Game!]

*Triple H comes out with the Attitude Era version of the WWE Title around his waist*

Garcia: And their tag team partner, from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing 255lb., he is the WWE Champion, Triple H.

Ross: The twelve time WWE Champion has big business with Kane and the Undertaker at One Night Stand where they will unify the gold.

Trish: Triple H has beaten a lot of people in his storied career, no doubt about it. But the World Champion the Undertaker, and Kane, the ECW Champion? That’s a huge mountain to climb, even for The Game.

[You Think You Know Me]

*Edge comes out amongst his smoke to a booing crowd.*

Garcia: Introducing their opponents. First, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing 250lb., The Rated R Superstar, Edge.

Trish: And you gotta believe that Edge is in very foul mood. First his fiancé gets fired, (I wonder how long that relationship’s gonna last), and then his title match with the Undertaker is thrown out.

Ross: Edge is, however, in the Singapore Cane Match for the right to face the Triple Crown Champion at the Night of Champions.

[5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Break the Walls Down]

*Jericho pompously, I.C. belt around the waist, comes out as Edge stands his ground on the ramp*

Garcia: From Manhasset, New York, weighing 226lb., the Intercontinental Champion, Y2J Chris Jericho.

Ross: Another man that has had some issues with Shawn Micheals in recent months is the Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho.

Trish: Not to get off-topic, but what if Jericho gets drafted away? What’ll happen to the I.C. title?

Ross: A good question indeed. One I don’t have the answer to.

[“Longhorn”]

*JBL’s limo pulls up. His driver gets out and lets JBL out*

Garcia: From New York City, weighing 290lb., John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

Ross: The self-made millionaire immediately locks eyes with John Cena. There’s bad blood there.

Trish: Dating way back to Wrestlemania 21 when Cena ended JBL’s vaunted title reign, his only world title reign, for the record.

Ross: A very good point. Not bad for your first night.

[I hear Voices in my head. They counsel me, they understand. They Talk to Me]

*Randy Orton comes out as JBL waits with Edge and Jericho*

Garcia: And their tag team partner, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing 245 lb., Randy Orton.

*Orton walks slowly down the ramp as Cena tells them “Come get some” Then Orton and his team oblige*
--------------------------------------------------------------
Main Event: Cena, HBK, Batista, & Triple H. vs. Edge, Jericho, JBL & Orton

A brawl starts the match with eventually Batista starting off against JBL. JBL gets the early advantage and tags Edge. Edge tries playing to the crowd and gets hit with a clothesline. Batista staggers to his corner and Cena tags himself in. Cena then goes after Edge until Cena is struck from behind by JBL. Edge hits the spear. Cover is broken up by Triple H. Cena then tags in HBK who comes in with right hands on Edge. After an Irish whip, Edge hits the Edge-o-matic before tagging Jericho.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
(Commercial Break)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Main event: (Cont’d)
Orton is in full control of HBK as a replay is shown of a botched elbow that Shawn attempted during the commercial (Orton pushes him off the turnbuckle). Orton pounds HBK before tagging Jericho back in. Jericho goes for the Lionsault but Micheals gets the knees up, kips up and rolls to his corner to tag Triple H. Triple H comes in hammering everyone. Eventually all eight men are in the ring. Edge spears Triple H. Cena FU’s Edge. JBL clotheslines Cena to receive a superkick from HBK. HBK then gets the RKO, Orton then gets Powerbombed. Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Batista but then backpedals into Pedigree. Triple H picks up the three-count.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Garcia: Here are your winners: Triple H, John Cena, Shawn Micheals, & Batista

Ross: Match, Set, Game Over, Y2J.

Trish: Triple H is standing victorious tonight, but how will he fare at One Night Stand? Will the king of kings hold all the gold this Sunday?

Ross: This has been a Raw to remember. What else is gonna happen before One Night Stand? Good night everybody.

Not bad BP! I would have never thought of making a Diva a GM, or putting Diva's in a Hell in a Cell match!! Also, I like the GM choices and title unification matches as well. This has some good potential, and I'm glad to hear that I inspired you! Keep up the good work and I'll keep reading.

Which reminds me, I need to find some time to write the first Smackdown in my story, lol!

ECW (Soon to be Heat)

Mike Adamle: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the final ECW broadcast. The face of WWE will change forever at One Night Stand this Sunday. Mike Adamle and Tazz here at ringside.

Tazz: One Night Stand gonna change everything. Like you said, this is the last ECW broadcast. At One Night Stand, this show becomes Tuesday Nite Heat. They’ve already changed the logo on our table. This is nuts.

[“Need a Little Time”]

*Torrie walks out with Joey Styles behind her. The fans cheer*

Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome, the General Manager of Tuesday Nite Heat; Torrie Wilson.

Torrie: Welcome to the last episode of ECW, and to the beginning of a new era on Tuesday Nights. I’ll be honest; I appreciate ECW’s name and its heritage. And some of that heritage will still live on.

*Torrie turns to Adamle*

Torrie: Mike, this is nothing personal, but to be honest you work better as an interviewer than a commentator. Mr. Styles, please relieve Mike Adamle of his duties at the announce desk.

*Fans cheer. Adamle gets up from the desk as Styles takes his place*

Tazz: well, GM Wilson is already shaking things up here.

Torrie: And finally per orders from Commissioner Long, The talent exchange with Smackdawn will end at the conclusion of tonight’s broadcast. Enjoy tonight’s show.

[“Need a Little Time”]

Styles: Well, Tazz, our new boss wasting little time stirring the pot for tonight’s show.

Tazz: Like it really needed it with this main event. CM Punk taking on Chavo Guerrero: Extreme Rules.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Colin Delaney and Kofi Kingston walk down the corridor*

Styles: But coming up next, Kofi Kingston and Colin Delaney team up to face Mike Knox and the Gold Standard when we come back.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[If ya Know... S.O.S. I hear them shouting. S.O.S. I hear them crying!]

*Colin and Kofi come out amid pyro*

Styles: And welcome back to the last ECW. Tag team action upcoming

Chimel: The following tag team contest scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 368 lb., Colin Delaney and Kofi Kingston.

Tazz: A very huge tag team match tonight for these two. And I do mean huge.

[Ain’t no Stoppin’ Me…Now!]

*Pyro explodes before Mike Knox and Shelton Benjamin come out*

Chimel: Introducing their opponents, at a combined weight of 541 lb., Mike Knox, and the Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin.

Styles: A huge challenge indeed anytime Mike Knox is involved. And certainly the Gold Standard, not small potatoes himself.

Tazz: What are you, a tater lover?

Styles: Running out of lines already? I just got back.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Colin Delaney & Kofi Kingston vs. Mike Knox and Shelton Benjamin

Colin starts off against Benjamin who quickly gets the advantage. Benjamin drags Colin to his corner and tags Knox. Knox pounds and grounds Colin until Benjamin tags himself back in. Benjamin tries a T-Bone suplex but Colin manages to counter it and roll over to tag Kofi. Unfortunately Knox had the referee distracted. Benjamin punishes Colin some more until he misses an enziguri. Colin tags Kofi again and this time the ref sees it. Benjamin gets a tag to Knox, but Kofi gives them both some offense. After some sustained offense Knox looks about beat and Colin tags himself in. Benjamin clotheslines Kofi over the top rope. Colin looks for a dropkick off the top, which Knox bats away. Knox then hits the Knox-out on Colin for the three-count.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here are your winners; Mike Knox and Shelton Benjamin.

Tazz: How impressive is Mike Knox?

Styles: Think about it, Tazz. This could be the last time we see any of these four athletes on this show. The entire active roster is up for grabs in the draft at One Night Stand.

Tazz: One Night Stand, gonna be a rocket-buster. No doubt.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

*Torrie watches the match as Kelly Kelly comes into her office*

Kelly: Torrie. Or is it Ms. Wilson, now? Congratulations.

Torrie: Thanks, Kelly. Was there something you needed?

Kelly: A minor thing. You see, I’m getting tired of being dismissed as a competitor. “Oh Kelly Kelly? She’s just that exhibitionist. No one to look at too closely in the title hunt.”

Torrie: So what do you want from me?

Kelly: That Cell match at One Night Stand, I want in.

*Layla storms in*

Layla: Hold the phone. I’m better than you, Kelly. I have more class and style and am more suited to be Women’s Champion.

Kelly: I’m still a better wrestler than you, Layla.

Layla: But you’re still a tramp.

Torrie: Hey, hey, hey, hey. That’s enough of that. Tell you what. Let’s settle this with a match tonight. And as preparation for what the winner will be in for, it will be Extreme Rules. Go get ready; you’re up after this next match.
---------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*The Miz and John Morrison walk down the corridor with their belts*

Styles: Coming up next, John Morrison goes one-on-one with the Corn-fed Colossus Festus.

Tazz: Batten down the hatches, this is gonna be off the chain.

(Commercial Break)
--------------------------------------------------------

[Hey listen. This ain’t no make believe….]

*Miz and Morrison come out with their slow-mo entrance*

Styles: And welcome back to the last ECW. This match is about momentum for the unification series for the tag team titles at One Night Stand.

Chimel: The following contest scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied by The Miz, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 219 lb., he is one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, John Morrison.

Tazz: John Morrison looking very confident as always. But he has got an uphill battle here tonight.

[Biscuits and Gravy….]

*Jesse leads the comatose looking Festus to the ring*

Chimel: And introducing his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jesse, weighing 291 lb., Festus.

Styles: Morrison had better have his mind on this match or the Corn-fed Colossus will make him pay.

Tazz: Yeah, he may not look like much now, but when that bell rings, Festus transforms. And when Festus transforms, bad things happen to his opponents.

*Festus gets in the ring*
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 2: John Morrison w/The Miz vs. Festus w/Jesse

Bell sounds and Festus transforms. Festus immediately starts clothes-lining Morrison. Morrison rolls out of the ring, Festus goes out after him, only to be blindsided by Miz. Festus makes him pay with a clothesline. Morrison tries a kick from the apron but is caught and slammed into the ring post. Festus then throws Morrison back in the ring. Morrison pulls himself up with the ropes and runs at Festus scoring with a leg lariat. He goes for the Moonlight Drive, it is countered. Festus slings Morrison into the ropes and hits his TKO for the win.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
*Festus goes back to his coma state*

Chimel: Here is your winner, Festus.

*Jesse helps Festus celebrate*

Styles: Could we be looking at the future unified tag team champions?

Tazz: I dunno about that, but Festus; he came, he saw, he kicked some ass tonight.

Styles: A message has been sent tonight
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

*Long is holding the WWE Hardcore Championship for Torrie to see*

Long: It’s been a while since we saw this bad boy.

Torrie: Not the prettiest belt, but it’s not a pretty division. So how is it coming back?

Long: Well, I’m taking Hardy vs. Umaga and turning it into Hardcore Labyrinth Challenge. Ya feel me? It’s gonna start in the ring between Jeff and Umaga and it will go all over the arena, each section holding a new superstar. Each fall moves to a new location, but if a superstar’s area is breached prematurely they join the match right then.

Torrie: And whoever gets the last fall is the Hardcore Champion?

Long: A little confusing, but pretty simple.

*Kane walks in, ECW title across his shoulder*

Long: Kane. What can we do for ya, playa?

Kane: Tonight is the last ECW, correct?

*Torrie nods. Kane laughs*

Kane: I believe that the ECW title should be defended in the main event of the last ECW. Don’t you agree? I don’t care who it is.

Torrie: We’ll see what we can do, Kane

*Kane walks away laughing*
------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Kelly Kelly walks down the corridor.*

Styles: Shocking revelations just moments ago concerning the Hardcore title.

Tazz: We got some Hardcore action headed our way next.

Styles: Extreme Rules Diva action. Winner advances to One Night Stand, when we come back

(Commercial Break)
-------------------------------------------------------------
[holla... Holla... holla]

*Kelly Kelly comes out amid cheers*

Styles: And welcome back to ECW, the last ECW. Joey Styles and Tazz at ringside

Tazz: And news just before the break. Our ECW Champion, Kane, is gonna defend the title tonight.

Styles: Only fitting for the last ECW.

Chimel: The following is an Extreme Rules match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Jacksonville, Florida; Kelly Kelly.

Styles: The winner of this match will advance to the Hell in the Cell match at One Night Stand for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Tazz: I think they’re nuts to wanna go in there, personally.

[techno rap music]

*Layla comes out and gyrates on the stage*

Chimel: Introducing her opponent, from Miami, Florida; Layla.

*Kelly pulls out various things from under the ring*

Tazz: And Kelly getting right to work, getting stuff from under the ring.

*Kelly and Layla brawl outside for a while before Layla is thrown in the ring*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 3: Kelly Kelly vs. Layla (Extreme Rules)

Kelly grabs a 2x4 and starts hitting Layla with it. Layla blocks the third shot and counters with a monkey flip. Layla then grabs a road sign. (Tazz: Hey, slow it down. That’s a speed limit sign) Layla brings it down across Kelly’s back. Kelly looks angry and rolls out of the ring to grab a Kendo stick which she uses to beat Layla down. As Layla lays sprawled out, Kelly goes out of the ring to get a table. Hornswaggle comes out to help Kelly get it in the ring (Styles: Hornswaggle being a gentleman. He’ll probably want a kiss.) Kelly kisses him on the cheek before he goes back under the ring. Kelly levels Layla with her 2x4 again before setting up the table. After laying Layla across it, Kelly goes to the top rope. She hits a guillotine leg drop on Layla, putting her through the table for the three-count.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here is your winner, Kelly Kelly.

Styles: And Layla may rue this night, when she picked a fight with Kelly Kelly.

Tazz: Layla beaten within an inch of her life. Hindsight, it’s good that she ain’t going to Hell in the Cell. She wouldn’t have lasted two seconds.

Styles: Kelly is standing tall tonight, but will she be able to stand at all after One Night Stand?

Tazz: I don’t know, Joey. But Mickie James and everyone else in that cell had better take notice. Kelly Kelly ain’t playin’ around.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

Torrie: It’s beautiful.

Long: This is just a paperweight. You’ll get the real one at One Night Stand.

*Big Daddy V and Matt Striker walk in*

Striker: Whatever are you talking about, Commissioner?

Long: I was just showing Ms Wilson the new Heat Championship. They’ll also be a Raw Championship and a Smackdown Championship.

V: I was kinda wondering about that. So what did ya want?

Torrie: Yes. Kane wants to defend the ECW Championship tonight and I thought you would be the best test for him. Go get ready, ‘Cause that’s the main event and we have two matches left for the night.

Striker: You won’t be disappointed, Ms. Wilson.

*Striker and V leave*

Torrie: See to it.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely walk toward the ring area*

Styles: That’s a huge match between two huge men. And we have more extreme action headed your way.

Tazz: Chavo Guerrero will collide with CM Punk in an Extreme rules match.

Styles: That’s up next. Stay tuned

(Commercial Break)
---------------------------------------------------------

[Ooooh Chavoooooo!]

*Chavo and Neely come out grandstanding*

Styles: And welcome back to the final ECW before we turn into Heat. We’re getting ready for our second Extremes rules match of the night.

Tazz: In succession, Joey. They didn’t even clean up after the last one hardly. They got Layla out of the ring and that’s it.

Styles: Her and the table that Kelly Kelly put her through.

Chimel: The following is an Extreme Rules match Scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied by Bam Neely, from El Paso, Texas, weighing 215 lb., Chavo Guerrero.

Tazz: But Chavo is smart. He ain’t coming alone.

Styles: Indeed. His bodyguard Bam Neely is present as usual.

[“This Fire Burns”]

*The crowd erupts as CM Punk makes his entrance*

Chimel: And introducing his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 222 lb., CM Punk.

Styles: And this arena’s on its feet for CM Punk.

Tazz: No doubt. The Straight-Edge Superstar is popular everywhere he goes.

*Punk plays to the crowd from the turnbuckle*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 4: Chavo Guerrero w/Bam Neely vs. CM Punk

Chavo meets Punk with Kelly’s 2x4, which Punk kicks out of his hand. Punk then kicks Chavo under the chin, knocking him down long enough to get a kendo stick and start wearing Chavo out with it. Punk goes for his knee in the corner but Bam Neely intercepts him. (Tazz: Hey, it’s Extreme rules. Ain’t nothing the ref can do about it.)

Without warning, The Great Khali comes out and lays waste to both Chavo and Punk. Neely puts Chavo on top of Punk for the three-count.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here is your winner---

*Before Chimel can finish, Khali slaps the vice grip on Neely until he passes out. Rajin Singh grabs a microphone.*

Khali: *Speaks something in Punjabi*

Singh: The Great Khali says that this is what will happen to anyone that gets in his way as he goes for the Triple Crown Championship.

["Danger"]

*Singh and Khali leave*

Styles: The Great Khali sending a message. He must want in to the Singapore cane match at One Night Stand.

Tazz: Ya think? Personally I say let him into it.
----------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Kane walks toward the ramp with the ECW title around his waist.*

Tazz: But our main event is up next. ECW title on the line

Styles: A clash of the extreme titans. Don’t go anywhere; because that is next.

(Commercial Break)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chimel: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the ECW Championship

[“Slow Chemical”]

*Pyro explodes before Kane comes out. He walks slowly toward the ring*

Styles: It is only fitting that the main event of the last ECW broadcast be a match for the ECW Championship.

Tazz: No doubt. As a former ECW Champion myself I can say that any match for the ECW title is main event worthy.

*Kane gets into the ring and does his pyro*

[Calling all cars, Calling all cars]

*Big Daddy V and Matt Striker come out looking full of themselves*

Styles: This guy, Big Daddy V will be tough to beat, even for the ECW Champion Kane.

Tazz: Kane said he didn’t care who it was, but he must’ve forgot about Big Daddy V.

Styles: As big as Kane is, this near five-hundred pounder will be a huge challenge

Chimel: Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied by his manager, Matt Striker, from Harlem, New York, weighing 485 lb., Big Daddy V.

*V struts to the fans who boo him*

Chimel: His opponent, weighing 326 lb., he is the ECW Champion, Kane.

*Kane holds up the title belt before handing it to the ref*
------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.midwestwrestling.com/images4/ECW.jpg
Main Event: Big Daddy V w/Matt Striker vs. Kane (ECW Championship)

Kane starts exchanging right hands with V, who doesn’t budge an inch. Kane tries a clothesline, but V blocks it and hits one of his own. V goes for an elbow drop but Kane rolls out of the way. Kane goes for the chokeslam but it is blocked. (Styles: Big Daddy V just too big) V Irish whips Kane and knocks him down. He slows down, thinking he’s in control as Striker encourages him. Kane sits up. V walks into a big boot which knocks him down. Kane goes to the top rope and lands his clothesline from the top. Cover and two-count. Kane goes for the chokeslam form Hell again and this time he gets V off the ground however slightly to get a three count.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here is your winner, and still the ECW Champion, Kane.

Tazz: What power by our ECW Champion. I didn’t think it could be done.

Styles: That is the biggest display of strength I’ve ever seen. Triple H and the Undertaker had better bring their best to One Night Stand or the Big Red Machine will become the Triple Crown Champion.

Tazz: How do you beat that kind of power?

Styles: We appreciate being able to come into your living rooms this evening. This has been one heck of a last episode of ECW. Tune in next week for the first episode of Tuesday Nite Heat. For Tazz, I’m Joey Styles. Good Night.

Friday Night Smackdown!

Micheal Cole: We are 48 hours away from the draft at One Night Stand. And this Smackdown will be the last stand for many WWE Superstars and Divas. Good evening, I’m Michael Cole, alongside hardcore legend Mick Foley here at ringside.

Foley: One Night Stand will be the final proving ground for many rivalries as the draft will see the entire active roster put up for grabs. Everyone’s gonna go somewhere.

Cole: All the wrestling talent anyway. Commentators, Ring announcers, GMs and interviewers are immune.

[You Think You Know Me]

*Edge comes out looking pissed holding Vickie Guerrero up.*

Justin Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Vickie Guerrero and The Rated R Superstar, Edge.

*Edge snatches Roberts’ microphone*

Edge: Shut up, Roberts. They know who I am.

Foley: Edge in a very bad mood tonight. Even angrier than he was Monday night on Raw.

Edge: I am out here to demand an apology for the atrocities committed by our new Commissioner Theodore Long.

Cole: What is he talking about?

Edge: Monday night, Mr. Long revoked the decision made by my fiancé, Vickie Guerrero, and gave my World Title back to the Undertaker.

*fans cheer*

Edge: Yeah, I bet you people loved it. But he didn’t stop there. Then he took away my Title match against the Undertaker at One Night Stand and put me in some half-ass Singapore Cane match.

Cole: That match will declare the number one contender for the Triple Crown Championship for Night of Champions.

Edge: And worst of all he fired….. the love of my life,…… Vickie Guerrero. Long, get out here. I want an apology and I want it now.

[I’ll be Damned!]

*Ron Simmons comes out looking very annoyed*

Foley: Well, here comes our new General Manager, Ron Simmons, who was appointed by Theodore Long to replace that jezebel, Vickie Guerrero.

Cole: Easy, Mick.

Simmons: Edge, shut up.

Vickie: Excuse me………… We weren’t finished.

Simmons: You shut up too, Guerrero. You ain’t in charge no more.

*fans cheer*

Simmons: Now, item one, Vickie Guerrero was fired by Mr. McMahon. Teddy had nothing to do with it. Item two; She was only removed from the GM position. She has been reassigned to…..the active roster.

*more cheers*

Simmons: Which means, Vickie, your ass is mine until the draft. And both of you better hope you get drafted away, cuz’ if you stay on Smackdown, I will make your lives a living Hell. That’s what you deserve.

*Guerrero shoots Simmons a dirty look*

Simmons: So tonight, Vickie Guerrero, since your doctor told me that you ain’t really hurt, tonight you will be competing in a match.

Vickie: Against who pray tell?

*Edge motions to her, worried. Simmons chuckles*

Simmons: Relax, Edge. I ain’t harsh enough to put her in the ring against I don’t know…….The Undertaker. Though I’m sure these fans would love it. Before I answer that, let me address you, Edge. How many times has Vickie Guerrero given you a handicap match against the Undertaker? Well tonight, payback time. Tonight you Edge will face Vladimir Kozlov……the Big Show…….and……Batista in a handicap match.

*Fan cheers*

Simmons: In the meantime, hit the bricks, Edge. Guerrero, you stay where you are.

*Security shows up to escort Edge to the back*

Simmons: Now, Vickie, I believe one of the girls here has a saying. “Mess with the best, go down like the rest”

Foley: Quoting Natalya Neidhart.

Simmons: Well, tonight you get to mess with the best. This is a punishment match for Guerrero. Anyone who interferes will be dealt with harshly. That’s my verdict.

*Simmons shakes his head*

Simmons: Damn! Now let’s meet your opponent.

[“Obsession”]

*Mickie James skips out with the Women’s title belt around her arm*

Cole: Hey, the Women’s Champion from Raw paying a visit. Light duty tonight as Mickie James prepares to step inside Hell in the Cell at One Night Stand.

Roberts: The following contest set for one fall. Introducing first, from Richmond, Virginia, the WWE Women’s Champion, Mickie James.

*Mickie smiles as she plays to the crowd*

Roberts: Introducing her opponent, in the ring, from El Paso, Texas, Vickie Guerrero.

Foley: Wait. Is the match right now?

Cole: I guess so.

Simmons: Oh, I neglected to mention, this is no disqualification.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Vickie Guerrero vs. Mickie James (non-title, No DQ)

Guerrero pleads with Mickie to go easy on her. Mickie shakes her head and levels Guerrero with a Lou Thez Press. Guerrero breaks free and rolls out the ring. (Cole: She doesn’t look hurt to me, Mick) Mickie grabs her and slams her face into the steps. (Foley: She may be by the time Mickie’s finished) After throwing Guerrero back in the ring, Mickie grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. Before she can use it, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder run in and assault Mickie. They continue until Jesse and Festus come in. As Jesse distracts Hawkins and Ryder, Mickie rolls out and rings the bell, causing Festus to transform. As the tag teams battle up the ramp Guerrero picks up Mickie’s chair and aims to knock her head off. She runs right into a Mick kick. Mickie then hits the Implant DDT and a nonchalant cover for the three-count.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Here is your winner, the WWE Women’s Champion, Mickie James.

Cole: The Women’s Champion getting a little taste of what’s in store for her at One Night Stand.

Foley: But she’s not facing Vickie Guerrero inside the Cell. Can she prevail over the likes of Melina, or the Glamazon? Those are who Mickie James needs to worry about.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Hawkins and Ryder rush through the halls and run into Simmons. He points at their heads*

Simmons: Do those things work?

Ryder: What things?

Simmons: Those little knobby things on the side of your head?

*Hawkins feels his ears*

Simmons: Yeah those. Are they working? Well tell me why you defied my orders and interfered in that match?

Hawkins: You can’t ban interference in a No-DQ match.

Simmons: I’m your boss. Don’t try to dictate nothing to me. But since you two clearly want some action tonight, I think I can help.

*Hawkins and Ryder look at each other then at Simmons*

Simmons: The two of you against……..The Great Khali ……….. and The Undertaker.

*fans cheer. Simmons walks away*

Ryder: Do you believe that?

(Commercial Break)
-------------------------------------------------------------
[Clock ticking]

*M.V.P. comes out of his inflatable tunnel looking full of himself*

Cole: And welcome back to Smackdown. As we get set for a huge match-up here.

Roberts: The following contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Miami, Florida, weighing 248 lb., Montel Vontavious Porter, M.V.P.

Foley: A very huge match. These two men, M.V.P. and Mark Henry are looking for the final berth in the Singapore Cane match at One Night Stand.

Cole: Two big egos and two stop-at nothing superstars with everything to gain.

[Somebody’s gonna get their ass kicked]

*Mark Henry comes out slowly and advances on the ring*

Roberts: His opponent from Silsbee, Texas, weighing 380 lb., he is the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

Cole: Mark Henry is a scary human being. But we know, Mick, exactly how resourceful M.V.P. can be.

Foley: And that should make this match all the more interesting. Two combustible elements about to collide and that will always get an exciting match.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Match 2: M.V.P. vs. Mark Henry

M.V.P. tries to duck and move but Henry catches him in the corner. Henry chops M.V.P. until he starts falling down. Henry goes for a big splash in the corner, but M.V.P. rolls out of the ring. Henry pursues and M.V.P. runs around back into the ring and grabs the ref. While the referee is distracted, Henry is assaulted by Kevin Thorn and a steel chair. Thorn jumps back over the security wall. (Cole: Heat’s Kevin Thorn came from out of nowhere with an attack on Mark Henry.) As Henry staggers back into the ring, M.V.P. hits the Drive By for the three-count.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Here is your winner, M.V.P.

Cole: A tainted victory to say the least. M.V.P. had to have an assist from Heat’s Kevin Thorn to get into the Singapore Cane match.

Foley: I would not want to be a superstar right now. And I certainly do not envy Kevin Thorn. There will be Hell to pay

*Henry is angry as M.V.P. backpedals out. The replay of Thorn’s interference is played, which infuriates Henry even more*

Cole: I don’t need you to say that. The face of the World’s Strongest Man tells that story.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Diva locker room:

*Victoria and Natalya Neidhart are getting ready*

Natalya: This draft is gonna tear a lot of things apart.

Victoria: Tell me about it. Can you believe Mickie James? Using our old boss as a punching bag?

Natalya: I’m just mad they didn’t call me. I never really liked that hag. But Mickie’s probably saving her good stuff for Sunday.

Victoria: She’d better. Cuz after we win tonight, she is gonna have a fight on her hands in that cell.

Natalya: You’re up next. Good luck.

*Victoria walks out*

(Commercial Break)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Upbeat 60’s song]

*Cherry walks out to the ring*

Roberts: The following Divas' contest set for one fall. Introducing first, from the Other Side of the Tracks, Cherry.

Cole: And welcome back to Smackdown. And this is a qualification match for the Hell in the Cell Match for the Women’s title at One Night Stand.

Foley: Quite frankly, I’m surprised that these Divas are actually willing to fight for the right to go in there. I wonder if they realize what they’re getting into.

Cole: A couple of the Raw Divas were thrown in automatically for their brawl Monday Night.

[I Ain’t the Lady to Mess With]

*Victoria walks slowly out to the ring*

Roberts: And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, Victoria.

Foley: That brawl also included the Black Widow, Victoria. And there is no love at all on that face.

Cole: And we’ve seen Victoria in some brutal matches over the years. Can you imagine Victoria in Hell in the Cell?

Foley: Until Monday Night, I couldn’t imagine any of the Divas in that match. It’s long been off-limits to them. Trish Stratus, the new color analyst on Raw told me she was not looking forward to calling that match, and quite frankly neither am I.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 3: Cherry vs. Victoria

Cherry starts off trying to outwrestle Victoria, but is quickly countered. Victoria takes Cherry down with some clotheslines and a sidewalk slam. Cover, two-count. Victoria goes to the top rope, but Cherry knocks her down. Cherry puts Victoria in the tree of woe and delivers a running dropkick to the head. As Victoria falls down, Cherry starts to set for a running DDT but is tripped by Maryse on the outside. (Cole: Hey, where’d Maryse come from?) Victoria has the referee distracted. When Cherry tries to retaliate; Maryse hangs her up on the ropes. Cherry walks backward into a Widow’s Peak, giving Victoria the three-count.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Here is your winner, Victoria.

*Maryse starts whipping Cherry with a belt*

Cole: Now this is ridiculous.

Foley: What has gotten into Maryse?

*As refs show up to restrain Maryse, she leaves of her own accord, smiling*

Cole: Well, bottom line Victoria has won this match. But there’s some bad blood brewing between Cherry and Maryse.

Foley: But will they have a chance to settle it? That remains to be seen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

*Simmons is at his desk when Matt Hardy comes in, U.S. Title across the shoulder.*

Simmons: Hey, Matt. What can I do for ya?

Matt: Just had a question. You know, I’m the United States Champion. What if I get drafted away from Smackdown this Sunday? What will happen to the title?

Simmons: Teddy knows for sure. But my understanding is that the U.S. title belongs to Smackdown, the Intercontinental title to Raw, and they’ll be pulling out the European title for Heat. If you leave Smackdown or Chris Jericho leaves Raw, the title is vacated. Or at least that how I understand it.

Matt: Makes sense. Thanks, Ron.

*Matt walks out*

Simmons: No worries.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Chuck Palumbo tinkers with his motorcycle*

Cole: Well some old business to be settled momentarily.

Foley: Vickie Guerrero practically let this rivalry fall into obscurity, but tonight, Chuck Palumbo and Jamie Noble settle it once and for all.

Cole: That match is tonight, that match is next.

(Commercial break)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Country rock theme plays]

*Jamie Noble walks out to the ring.*

Cole: And welcome back to Smackdown. Michael Cole and Mick Foley here at ringside as we get set for action.

Roberts: The following contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Hanover, West Virginia, weighing 202 lb., Jamie Noble.

Foley: Jamie Noble has wanted to get his hands on Chuck Palumbo for months. Ron Simmons told Noble when he made this match that this could be his last chance. Make it count.

*A motorcycle revs*

[You Will Remember Me]

*Palumbo rides out*

Roberts: Introducing his opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing 280 lb., Chuck Palumbo.

Cole: This whole thing started over Michelle McCool last winter and Palumbo blaming McCool for his losses to Noble. He took his frustrations out on Michelle, drawing Noble’s ire. They never really got to settle it. Tonight’s their chance.

*Palumbo parks his motorcycle and gets in the ring*
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 4: Jamie Noble vs. Chuck Palumbo

Palumbo starts off strong, knocking Noble down with some clotheslines. When he goes for a boot, Noble ducks and Palumbo’s leg gets caught in the ropes. Noble goes right to work on it. (Foley: Jamie Noble doing what he’s got to do; get the big man off his feet.) After multiple attacks on Palumbo’s knee, Noble heads to the top rope and scores a missile dropkick. Cover, two-count. (Cole: It’s gonna take more than that to keep Chuck Palumbo down.) Noble attempts a bulldog, but Palumbo hurls him off into the turnbuckle. Palumbo goes for Full Throttle, but Noble counters with a shot to the knee. Palumbo goes for a superkick but Noble catches his foot and hooks in the Trailer Hitch. Palumbo is forced to tap.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Here is your winner, by submission, Jamie Noble.

Cole: How much more emphatic can you get?

Foley: Noble made the most of this opportunity. But where will these two superstars go in the draft at One Night Stand. Will this indeed be their last battle?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Office:

*Long is showing off the Cruiserweight title to Nunzio*

Nunzio: Looks just as good as when I wore it.

Long: Well, at One Night Stand, a TLC match was advertised, but instead of for the World title, it will declare a new Cruiserweight champion. Ya feel me? The new Champ will be able to fight on all three shows.

Nunzio: That’s awesome. I….

*Before Nunzio can finish his sentence, Cherry staggers in.*

Long: Hold that thought, playa.

Cherry: Did you see what Maryse did to me?

Long: Calm down, Cherry.

Cherry: Please don’t tell me to calm down. Just give me a match with Maryse tonight.

Long: I’m afraid I can’t do that, baby girl. But I can give you Maryse at One Night Stand. Now what kind of match do ya want?

*Cherry favors her back*

Cherry: Maryse likes to beat people with leather straps, huh? Let’s see how she likes the receiving end. Make it a strap match.

Long: You got it.

Cherry: Thank you, Commissioner.

*Cherry leaves*

Long: Holla holla holla.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Hawkins and Ryder walk down the hall toward the ring*

Cole: Well coming up next, Hawkins and Ryder take on The Great Khali and the World Champion the Undertaker.

Foley: This is not gonna be pretty. But it is on its way. Stay tuned.

(Commercial Break)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[“In the Middle of it Now”]

*Hawkins and Ryder come out to boos*

Cole: And welcome back to Smackdown. As Hawkins and Ryder make their way to the ring.

Roberts: The following tag team contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Long Island, New York, at a combined weight of 435 lb., the team of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

Foley: Well, Hawkins and Ryder find themselves in this situation because they defied General Manager Ron Simmons and tried to help Vickie Guerrero in her match against Mickie James. Simmons, as punishment, put these two members of the Familia in the ring with Khali and the Undertaker.

[“Danger”]

*Khali and Ranjin Singh come out*

Roberts: Introducing their opponents, first accompanied by Ranjin Singh, from India, standing seven feet tall, weighing 420 lb., The Great Khali.

*Khali plays to the crowd*

Foley: I’m told that Ron Simmons gave Khali a berth in the Singapore Cane match in exchange for his help punishing La Familia. Best bargain our GM ever made if you hate the Familia.

Cole: That’s almost all of our fans.

[Bell Tolls]

*The lights go out and the crowd cheers*

Roberts: And his partner, from Death Valley, weighing 299 lb., the World Heavyweight Champion, the Undertaker.

*Undertaker comes out of his fog, World Title around the waist.*

Cole: The first act of WWE Commissioner Theodore Long was to override Vickie Guerrero’s controversial decision to strip the Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Championship. A decision many believe was unfounded.

Foley: The first of many of that woman’s messes that will need cleaning up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 5: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder vs. The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh & The Undertaker

Hawkins reluctantly starts off against Khali. Khali knocks him down easily. Khali hurls Hawkins around until Ryder gets in his face. Khali knocks Ryder off the apron and drags the half unconscious Hawkins over to the corner. He tags in Undertaker who pounds Hawkins some more. Taker applies the Devil’s Triangle to Hawkins as Khali knocks the recovering Ryder off the apron again. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely then attack Khali from behind causing a disqualification.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Your winners……

*Roberts cannot conclude his statement as Undertaker releases Hawkins and chokeslams Neely.*

Cole: Chavo, I guess wanting payback on the Punjabi Nightmare for the attack Tuesday night. Bottom line this match ends on disqualification.

*Khali and Undertaker knock everyone out of the ring*

[Bell Tolls]

Foley: Well message sent to the Familia, and I hope for their sakes that it was received. Now the Undertaker can focus on Kane and Triple H this Sunday.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Mickie James is talking with Eve Torres backstage*

Mickie: So you got Smackdown’s interview job? That’s great. You’ll do well.

Eve: I’m just glad it keeps me on Smackdown for now. Interviwers can’t be drafted, and I need stability right now.

*Michelle McCool approaches them*

Michelle: Hey, Mickie. Keep your head up Sunday. Because I plan on beating Natalya here soon and I’m going to the Cell….

*Michelle points to Mickie’s title belt*

Michelle: ….and coming for that.

Mickie: Good luck, Michelle. In both cases, you will need it.

*Michelle departs*

Cole: That match is next.

(Commercial Break)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
[Maniacal laughter]

*Natalya enters with a smug expression*

Roberts: The following Divas’ contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Natalya.

Cole: Welcome back to Smackdown as the daughter of Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart makes her way to the ring.

Foley: This match will determine the final berth in the Hell in the Cell match for the Women’s title at One Night Stand.

*Natalya arrogantly enters the ring*

[You’re Not Enough For Me]

*Michelle comes out to a great ovation*

Roberts: And her opponent, from Palatka, Florida, Michelle McCool.

Foley: Well, we saw Victoria defeat Cherry earlier tonight. Can Natalya put away arguably Smackdown’s most popular Diva?

Cole: Will either of these women even be on Smackdown next Friday night? That’s the question that bugs me.

*Michelle enters the ring*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 6: Natalya Neidhart vs. Michelle McCool

Natalya starts off strong keeping Michelle on the mat and attacking her legs. Michelle eventually kicks Natalya into the turnbuckle after Natalya attempts a Spinning Toe Hold. Michelle then starts working Natalya’s legs. Natalya fiercely battles to get Michelle off her. Natalya goes for a kick to the head, but Michelle catches her foot. She reverses into the Brazilian Heellock for the submission.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Your winner by submission, Michelle McCool.

Cole: Did we just see that?

*Natalya looks embarrassed*

Foley: Natalya was beaten at her own game. We have to consider this an upset.

*Natalya goes ballistic hammering McCool*

Cole: Now there’s no need for that.

*Kelly Kelly charges out with a chair. She nails Natalya with it.*

Foley: Kelly Kelly with that chair, delivering the goods on Natalya.

*Victoria rushes out and attacks Kelly. She’s closely followed by Jillian Hall*

Cole: There’s Victoria and Jillian beating up Kelly Kelly.

*Melina, Maria and Ashley charge in and a brawl ensues*

Foley: Now this is getting out of hand. We’ve got seven or eight women out here.

*Beth Phoenix charges out and beats the snot out of everyone*

Cole: Now the Glamazon out here cleaning house.

*Mickie runs out and lays Beth out with Kelly’s chair*

Foley: Steel off the skull of the Glamazon, compliments of the Women’s Champion.

[“Obsession”]

Cole: Mickie James won the standoff tonight, but will her title reign end inside Hell in the Cell this Sunday?

Foley: Mickie retaining her title against nine other women in that cell will be a miracle. A victory will be walking out at all.

Cole: And who is the tenth competitor? We have not heard that information. Tune in for One Night Stand.
----------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Edge walks down the corridor and sees Long and Simmons talking*

Edge: You through hiding, Long? Cause I still want that apology.

Simmons: Mind your attitude, Edge.

Edge: Tell your puppet to shut up. That handicap match is just one more thing I’m gonna make you apologize for.

Long: I have nothing to be sorry about, playa. But you have many sins to be punished for. And it’s about that time.

Edge: You’re gonna pay for this. Mark my words.

*Edge storms off*

Long: That boy ain’t right

Simmons: Damn!

Cole: The handicap match is next.

(Commercial Break)
-------------------------------------------
*Vladimir Kozlov stands in the ring*

Roberts: The following is a three-on-one Handicap match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Moscow, weighing 302 lb., Vladimir Kozlov.

Cole: Welcome back to Smackdown as we get set for our main event. The undefeated Vladimir Kozlov stands in the ring awaiting his partners.

[Weelllllllllll. Well It’s the Big Show!]

*Pyro explodes as the Big Show makes his way out*

Foley: And what partners he has.

Roberts: Introducing his partners, first standing seven feet tall, weighing 441 lb., The Big Show.

*Big Show gets in the ring and grandstands for the crowd*

Cole: He is the Largest Athlete in the world and he has been asked to take care of business with Edge tonight. But he’s not alone.

[“I Walk Alone”]

*Batista comes out and does his pyro*

Roberts: And from Washington, D.C., weighing 290 lb., Batista.

Foley: The Animal in rare form heading into his stretcher match against Shawn Michaels at One Night Stand.

Cole: But tonight, I’m sure he would love to dismantle the man who arguably stole the World title from him last December, Edge.

*Batista gets in the ring*

[You Think You Know Me]

*Edge comes out reluctantly*

Roberts: And introducing their opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing 250 lb., The Rated R Superstar, Edge.

Cole: So many times, Vickie Guerrero, Edge’s fiance, the former General Manager of Smackdown has given Edge the advantage in handicap matches. Tonight it’s payback time.

Foley: And I’m looking forward to it. But can you believe the audacity of Edge to demand an apology from WWE Commissioner Theodore Long for Guerrero’s dismissal.

Cole: Audacity is Edge’s middle name. And I think he’s about to get the audacity kicked out him.

*Kozlov sneaks up on Edge and throws him in the ring*
---------------------------------------------------------------
Main event: Edge vs. Vladimir Kozlov, Big Show & Batista

Kozlov starts beating the living hell out of Edge. After several judo slams he makes the tag to Big Show. Show then slams Edge around some more. Edge does eventually get some chop blocks in. He goes for a Spear but Show dodges and Edge nails the post. Kozlov gets back in but Edge pokes him in the eye and hits a spinning wheel kick from the top. Cover, two-count, broken up by Batista. Kozlov tags Batista and he unleashes hell on Edge until Hawkins, Ryder, Neely, Chavo and Vicki Guerrero show up and start beating up the trio. This causes a disqualification.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Cole: This is ridiculous. La Familia just doesn’t get the hint do they?

Foley: They believe rules do not apply to them.

*Khali comes out and starts pummeling the Familia members*

Cole: Here comes the Great Khali. Beating the hell out of the Familia.

*Batista, Show and Kozlov join the fight. Vickie seeks refuge in the ring.*

Foley: Guerrero hiding as usual. That witch.

*The lights go out. We they come back up, Undertaker has Vickie by the throat. He hooks the Devil’s Triangle on her*

Cole: The Undertaker, with that submission hold on the woman that tried to ban it.

*Guerrero screams for Edge to help her, but he and the Famila retreat up the ramp.*

Foley: Serves her right if ya ask me.

Cole: One Night Stand is turning into a powder keg ready to explode. Will the Undertaker become the Triple Crown Champion? Who will be the #1 contender? What will the draft do to the face of Smackdown? Tune in this Sunday on pay-per-view. Have a nice evening.

And now…….Raw…...Heat….....and Smackdown! present:

http://bleacherreport.com/images_root/image_pictures/0037/4759/ons_feature.jpg

Joey Styles: It is a sold-out arena for what promises to be a groundbreaking night in World Wrestling Entertainment. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to One Night Stand, where the WWE goes Extreme. Joey Styles and Tazz here for Tuesday Nite Heat. And Tazz, a whole lot on the line, not just in the ring but in the draft as well.

Tazz: No doubt, Joey. The construction theme here is very appropriate. All three brands are being rebuilt from the ground up. Let’s get going.

Styles: One Night Stand a tri-branded broadcast as we send you to our colleagues from Smackdown, Michael Cole and Mick Foley.

Michael Cole: Thank you, Joey Styles and Tazz. Welcome everybody. I’m Michael Cole along with Mick Foley. Our Heat colleagues talked about the draft, but championship gold is also on the line.

Mick Foley: Absolutely, Michael. Five titles to be decided. A whole lot of scores will be settled. This night is where we go Extreme. Many people will get hurt tonight.

*We look at the Hell in the Cell*

Cole: Indeed some extreme action on the board tonight as you see the menacing steel structure. For the first time ever, the WWE Divas step inside Hell in the Cell as we send you to our Raw announce team, J.R. and Trish Stratus.

Jim Ross: Thank you gentlemen. I’m Jim Ross alongside Trish Stratus here representing Monday Night Raw and Trish…….Are you alright?

*Trish is mesmerized staring at the cell*

Trish: That Cell scares the hell outta me.

Ross: I’ve called many of those matches and it still scares me, so don’t feel bad.

Trish: The rest of the card will make that match worth it. I mean we got the Triple threat match for all the World title gold, the unification series for the Tag Titles….

Ross: Plus that big Singapore Cane Match to declare the number one contender. All that’s tonight.

[Ya know it’s the MacMilitant, comin’ to get it on]

* Theodore Long comes out and walks up to a platform where Jerry Lawler, Torrie Wilson and Ron Simmons await.*

Howard Finkel: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, the Commissioner of World Wrestling Entertainment, Theodore Long.

Long: Let me holla at ya, playa. Welcome to the 2008 Draft. Now let me explain how this is gonna work. The whole roster is gonna get redrafted, completely via lottery, ya feel me? Our three GM’s will take turns drawing these capsules from this tumbler here all throughout the show tonight. This will continue until everybody has been selected. Tag Teams are drafted as a unit.

Ross: Gotta get the ground rules straight.

Long: Heat won the first pick of the draft. So, Ms. Wilson, you’re on the clock, baby girl.

*Torrie smiles as she steps forward and draws a capsule*

Torrie: With its first selection in the draft, Tuesday Nite Heat welcomes……………Deuce and Domino.

[“All About Cool”]
-----------------------------------------------
Locker Room:

*Deuce and Domino react to being drafted*

Styles: Deuce and Domino in the unification series for the Tag Team titles. Ms. Wilson will have her hands full with these two.

Tazz: Especially if we also get two certain tomatas, if ya know what I mean.

Styles: Indeed, partner.

*Torrie returns to her podium as Lawler steps forward and reaches in.*

Ross: Now The King’s up.

Trish: Come on. King wants a Diva, King wants a Diva.

Ross: King wants all the Divas. Let’s be honest about it.

*Lawler pulls a capsule out*

Lawler: Well, Heat’s off to a good start. Let’s see if Raw followed that act.

*Lawler opens the capsule*

Lawler: With its first pick, Monday Night Raw welcomes………
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Locker Room:

*Maryse flirts with Deuce and Domino as she helps them celebrate*

Lawler:………Maryse.

[up tempo pop theme]

*Lena Yada nudges Maryse and tells her she’s been drafted*

Ross: Only with The King would a Diva go in the first round.

*Lawler ogles over Maryse*

Trish: And not even one of the gals in the Cell match. So much for one of the “tomatas” that Tazz was referring to. I’ll laugh my ass off if Smackdown retains Cherry now.

*Lawler returns to his podium as Simmons steps forward*

Simmons: King,…….Damn!

*Simmons reaches in and grabs a capsule*

Simmons: With its first round selection, Friday Night Smackdown welcomes…………..Jeff Hardy.

[“No More Words”]

Foley: Wow!

Cole: I think we got the best in the first round.

Foley: Jeff Hardy has been on the cusp of the main event for so long. Maybe Smackdown can help him get there.

Long: We’ll recap throughout the night, but let’s get a match happenin’. Justin Roberts, take us away.

*The bell sounds as Justin Roberts gets ready*

Justin Roberts: The following is a Strap Match. The only way to win is to touch all four turnbuckle pads in succession.

[Up Tempo 60’s song]

*Cherry walks out smiling, waving to the fans*

Finkel: Introducing first, from the Other Side of the Tracks, Cherry.

Cole: Cherry, undrafted at this moment, thus the Fink announces her to the ring. Those that have been drafted will be announced by that by that brand’s ring announcer……

*Lillian Garcia fiddles with her microphone*

Cole: ….as Lillian Garcia gets ready to announce Maryse.

*Cherry gets into the ring as the referee brings in the leather strap.*

Foley: Cherry, very happy and fun-loving most of the time. But tonight this issue is very personal.

Cole: It all started in the Smackdown Diva contest, when Cherry aligned herself with Michelle McCool against Victoria and Natalya, forgetting about her brother, Domino and now ex-boyfriend, Deuce. Deuce and Domino then started hanging out with Maryse.

*They show replays of Cherry and Maryse’s interactions*

Foley: Maryse belittled Cherry every chance she got, which led to some bitter battles in the ring.

*Footage from last week’s Smackdown is shown*

Cole: And just two nights ago on Smackdown, Maryse got involved in Cherry’s match with Victoria, costing Cherry a berth in the Cell match for the Women’s title tonight. Indeed this is very personal, and unless Cherry is drafted to Raw, this is their last chance to settle it.

[up tempo pop theme]

*Maryse comes out looking very arrogant*

Lillian Garcia: And introducing her opponent, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Maryse.

Cole: And here comes the so-called “Sexiest of the Sexy”, Maryse. And don’t think Maryse isn’t gonna let it go straight to her head that she was the first Diva taken in the draft.

Foley: Draft is still going on and two more Divas are off the board. Victoria has gone to Heat and we got Ashley.

*Cherry gives Maryse a livid stare as Maryse pompously enters the ring*

Foley: No sympathy in the eyes of Cherry, as though Maryse cares.

*The referee attaches one end of the leather strap to Cherry’s wrist, the other to Maryse’s. The bell then sounds*

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Cherry vs. Maryse (Strap Match)

Maryse starts off by slapping Cherry. Cherry answers with a right hand and a boot to the sternum. Cherry starts whipping Maryse with the strap. (Cole: Perfectly legal in a strap match) Cherry hits a clothesline and tries for the turnbuckles. Maryse stops her at the third one with a clothesline of her own. Maryse flips her hair as she starts whipping Cherry with the strap. (Foley: Shades of two nights ago) Maryse goes for the turnbuckles but Cherry hangs on to the ropes to prevent Maryse from getting to the second one. Maryse tries to kick Cherry in the gut, but Cherry counters sending Maryse into the ropes. Cherry then hits a running DDT to lay out Maryse before going around to the turnbuckles for the victory.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Finkel: Here is your winner, Cherry.

Cole: Cherry getting some retribution tonight over Maryse.

Foley: A catfight on steroids. That’s what this match was.

Cole: Let’s bring you up to date on the draft. Smackdown got the following:

Jeff Hardy
Ashley
Chris Jericho
Finlay & Hornswoggle
Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Foley: The Intercontinental title has been vacated, Y2J, now a part of Smackdown. Hacksaw will be an interesting addition. Of course the Finlays remain on Friday Nights.

Cole: J.R., Trish. How’d Raw do?

Maryse
Charlie Haas
Michelle McCool
Beth Phoenix
Colin Delaney

Ross: A total of six Divas already off the board, and three of them went to Raw.

Trish: Well, technically, the Glamazon stays on Raw. Haas ain’t going anywhere, Delaney, we’ll see if he’s worth anything. Tazz, Joey, how about you boys?

Deuce & Domino
Victoria
Lena Yada
John Cena
Shelton Benjamin

Styles: Well, Heat seems to be doing best right now, only because Heat now has John Cena.

Tazz: Cena will look good in Heat yellow, but we keep the Gold Standard and score a couple tomatas at the same time. The Divas are going like hotcakes

Torrie: Tuesday Nite Heat welcomes……………..Batista.

[“I Walk Alone”]

Tazz: Another blockbuster pick.
-------------------------------------------------------
Backstage:

*Batista reacts to being drafted*

Ross: That is huge indeed for Tuesday Nights.

Trish: Get ready, Heat. The Animal’s comin’.
----------------------------------------------------
Locker Room:

*Melina is stretching on the floor*

Cole: Extreme Action still to come and there you see Melina: one of the ten women that will step inside Hell in the Cell tonight for the Women’s title.

Trish: She looks focused.

Foley: She’d better be.
-------------------------------------------

Garcia: The following is a Fatal-four-way Elimination Match for the World Tag Team Championships.

[Yo! yo! yo! yo! Shad Gaspard and JTG. It’s Cryme Tyme]

*Shad and JTG come out and work the crowd*

Finkel: Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York, at a combined weight of 530lb.; JTG, Shad Gaspard; Cryme Tyme.

Ross: You gotta wonder the condition of Cryme Tyme, following that assault by Umaga Monday Night on Raw. But Big Shad and JTG are here, needless to say.

Trish: Cryme Tyme is not gonna back down from a fight, not with this much at stake.

[Country twang]

*Cade and Murdoch come out*

Finkel: At a total combined weight of 501 lb., Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

Ross: These two, multi-time former champions. They know how to git’r’done if ya know what I mean.

Trish: Hey. Mixed company here.

[Up tempo rock theme]

*London and Kendrick charge out*

Finkel: At a total combined weight of 385 lb., the team of Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Trish: Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t these two have the record with Smackdown’s tag titles.

Ross: That’s correct, Trish. You’ve been checking the title histories, haven’t you?

Trish: Girl’s gotta have a hobby.

[“How do you Like Me Now”]

*Rhodes and Holly come out, belts around the waists*

Finkel: And at a combined weight of 454 lb., the World Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly.

Ross: An unlikely team, but they are the reigning champions are Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly.

Trish: I like these two. They’ve really gelled as a team here lately.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.wrestlingrevealed.com/images/merchandise/champions/replicas/wwe-raw-tag.jpg
Match 2: Cryme Tyme vs. Cade/Murdoch vs. Kendrick/London vs. Rhodes/ Holly (World Tag Titles)

Lance Cade starts off against JTG who quickly gains the upper-hand, rocking Cade into the corner and tagging Shad, who continues the beatdown. After Cade reverses an Irish whip, Cody Rhodes gets the blind tag. Cade almost decapitates Rhodes with a clothesline. Murdoch gets the tag, and he and Cade double team Rhodes. Rhodes goes to tag Paul London, who steps off the apron. (Ross: London, in no hurry to get in this one). Cade and Murdoch continue the beatdown of Rhodes. Cade knocks Holly off the apron as Murdoch hits the Ace of Spades on Rhodes to eliminate Rhodes and Holly.

Trish: Titles are gonna change hands.

Brian Kendrick steps in against Murdoch and quickly gains the upper hand. He and London make several exchanges to wear down Murdoch. Hardcore Holly yanks Lance Cade off the apron. (Trish: Payback for Hardcore Holly) Kendrick works over Murdoch before being tagged by Shad. Shad and JTG hit the G9 on Murdoch, eliminating Murdoch and Cade.

Ross: Two teams remain. Cryme Tyme’s on a roll. But London and Kendrick will be a challenge.

Kendrick goes right after Shad, while London brawls with JTG. JTG goes for his neckbreaker but London counters it, sending JTG over the top rope. Kendrick then hits Sliced Bread #2 on Shad, London then does his 450 splash for the deciding three-count.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finkel: The winners of this bout and new World Tag Team Champions, Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Ross: One mistake by Cryme Tyme and this match is over.

Trish: Hey, it only takes three seconds to win or lose a title.

Ross: Bottom line, Kendrick and London are the new World Tag Team Champions. They will meet the winner of the other four-way match later tonight.

Trish: They could be the undisputed Tag Champs by the end of the night.

Ross: Let’s check on the draft. Here’s who Raw picked up since the last update

Jillian Hall
Undertaker
Candice Michelle
Balls Mahoney
Bam Neely
Paul Burchill
Vladimir Kozlov
Big Show

Trish: Two names worth mentioning: Undertaker and Big Show.

Ross: A couple Divas gonna be staying on Raw, Jillian Hall and the injured Candice Michelle. Let’s see how Smackdown did.

Chavo Guerrero
The Great Khali
Super Crazy
Jesse & Festus
The Highlanders
Shannon Moore
Big Daddy V
Jamie Noble

Foley: We got a lot of potential. Big Daddy V will be a handful. But Chavo Guerrero now separated from his bodyguard, Bam Neely.

Cole: I hope Heat’s hit a dry spell.

Maria
Cherry
Snitsky
Rey Mysterio
Tommy Dreamer
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
Umaga

Tazz: Well, that’s very nice, Cole. But no dice. We’re still rolling.

---------------------------------------------------
Locker Room:

* Randy Orton is talking to Mark Henry*

Orton: You’re right. Kevin Thorn’s gonna get it.

Henry: You’re damn right he’s gonna get it. When I get these mitts around his throat, it’s gonna be bad.

Orton: I feel sorry for anyone that goes to Heat. That place is a dump and is being run by a complete bimbo.

*Torrie takes another capsule*

Torrie: With its fourteenth selection, Tuesday Nite Heat welcomes……….Randy Orton.

[I hear voices in my Head. They counsel me, they understand. They talk to me]

Orton: What?

*Henry chuckles*

Henry: I feel real sorry for ya, Randy.

Styles: Another former World Champion coming to Tuesday Nights.

Tazz: Whether he likes it or not.
-----------------------------------------------------
*A referee in the ring starts setting up for a Hardcore match as Lawler draws a capsule*

Lawler: Monday Night Raw welcomes……..back …..The Women’s Champion Mickie James.

[“Obsession”]

Ross: I’m sure Mickie will be glad to hear that.

Trish: I’m glad to hear it.

*Trish gestures toward the Cell*

Trish: ……cuz now she can focus on that.

*Simmons draws a capsule*

Simmons: Smackdown welcomes………Santino Marella.

[La Vittoria e Mia! E Mia!]

Cole: Well, not much to say here.

Foley: Indeed. Well I’m ready for this next match. The Heat team’s gonna call it. Joey, Tazz, take it away.

Tony Chimel: The following is the Hardcore Labyrinth Challenge for the WWE Hardcore Championship. The first two competitors will start in the ring. Every fall moves the bout to a new location in the arena where another superstar awaits. Whoever wins the final fall in the parking lot will be the Hardcore Champion.

[“No More Words”]

*Jeff Hardy comes out and sets off his pyro*

Roberts: Introducing first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 225 lb., Jeff Hardy.

Styles: Smackdown’s number one pick has some business to settle with Umaga, but he could leave here as the Hardcore Champion.

Tazz: Easier said than done though. Even if he survives Umaga, he’s got several other Superstars looking to take him out.

[Jungle Drums]

*Umaga comes out*

Chimel: And introducing his opponent, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing 350 lb., Umaga.

Tazz: This guy is a monster, Joey. And now he’s on our show.

Styles: He is the Samoan Bulldozer. And demolition is on his mind as far as Jeff Hardy is concerned. Hardcore rules are in effect: No count-outs, no disqualifications, falls count anywhere.

Tazz: Hidden throughout this arena are other superstars that are in this match. If this or any other fall of this match spills into an area prematurely that person enters the fall. It’ll become a triple threat.

Match 3: Hardcore Labyrinth match (Hardcore Title)

Jeff goes after Umaga with a chair. Umaga quickly knocks the chair away and charges at Jeff who dodges by rolling out of the ring and grabbing a road sign. Jeff bashes Umaga with the sign which barely fazes him. A subsequent drop toe-hold into the steps does more damage. Jeff gets out a trash can and puts it over Umaga. He quickly grabs a chair and bashes the trash can, knocking Umaga back onto the Heat announce table. (Styles: A little too close for comfort here) Jeff gets a ladder from under the ring and sets it up. He hits Umaga with the chair again before ascending the ladder. He hits a Swanton Bomb off the ladder onto Umaga for a three-count.

A referee helps Jeff up and leads him toward the electrical area, where he is ambushed by Mike Knox. Jeff limps around before hitting Knox with an enziguri. They battle into the back.

Corridor:

Jeff and Knox battle into the hallway and Stevie Richards joins the fray. Knox clotheslines Richards before attempting the Knox-out on Jeff. Jeff counters with a right hand and Richards hits Knox with a chair. They continue to brawl down the hall.

When they pass the boiler room, Snitsky joins the battle. (Tazz: A fatal four way now? This is nuts) He almost runs down Richards with a shopping cart and then takes Jeff down with a boot. Snitsky pumphandle slams Richards on the cart. Knox low blows Snitsky and hits the Knox-out for a three count.

Concession area:

The referee takes Knox out to the concession stand where Super Crazy awaits. Crazy hits Knox with a chair several times. He tries to ram Knox through the popcorn machine but Knox counters and rams Crazy into it instead. Crazy rolls away and Knox pursues to the stairway to the upper level. DH Smith joins the battle with a lead pipe. Knox and Smith fight over the pipe until Crazy moonsaults off the railing onto them. He gets a two-count on Smith. They battle back into the staff area.

Corridor:

The back area is guarded by Balls Mahoney, who has a kendo stick and a table waiting. He goes right after Knox, busting him open. As Smith and Crazy battle past the Diva locker room, they are ambushed by Hacksaw Jim Duggan and his 2x4 who was hiding in there. Katie Lea Burchill calls Hacksaw a pig. Mahoney hits The Nutcraker Suite on Smith, before Knox puts him through his own table. Knox is then laid out with Duggan’s lumber. Crazy DDT’s Duggan for a three-count.

The referee leads Crazy to the corridor to parking lot. He is met by Santino Marella. He throws some powder in Crazy’s eyes before hitting a neckbreaker for a three-count. (Styles: Can you believe that? This is ridiculous)

Parking Lot:

The referee takes Santino to the parking lot where a car is running, guarded by Finlay, shillelagh at the ready. Finlay goes for Santino’s head but Santino ducks and low blows Finlay. Santino takes the shillelagh and lays Finlay out with it for the deciding three-count.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here is your winner and the new WWE Hardcore Champion, Santino Marella.

*Santio is presented with the Hardcore Title belt and hops into the car, which then speeds away*

Tazz: Yeah, he’d better high-tail it. 24-7, baby.

Styles: Santino Marella stole the Hardcore title, but he’d better watch it. From now on, anyone can challenge him at any time.

Kane
DH Smith
Funaki
William Regal
Elijah Burke

Styles: Well, we may be hitting our rut, Tazz.

Tazz: I dunno, Joey. We got some good people. New beginning, starting tonight. So let’s not judge like Smackdown does.

Layla
Natalya Neidhart
Montel Vontavious Porter
CM Punk
Mike Knox

Foley: I don’t know what he’s talking about, Michael. But we’re doing fairly decent.

Cole: Indeed. I am a little afraid, though, about Mike Knox coming to Smackdown after his performance in that last match. J.R., how’s the “flagship” doing?

Jimmy Wang Yang
John “Bradshaw” Layfield
Edge
Mark Henry
Carlito

Trish: Well it looks like Carlito won’t be teaming with the Hardcore Champion anymore. But we got two more former World Champions in JBL and Edge.

Ross: Personally, I look forward to having Jimmy Wang Yang on Raw. I like his hat.

Trish: I have some of those hats too. JBL wears cowboy hats as well. I’m seeing a pattern here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:
*Victoria paces around trying to loosen up*

Ross: I’ve noticed a pattern in Hell in the Cell matches: people get hurt. And you have to wonder if the Black Widow, Victoria, could be the victim of tonight’s match.

Trish: I’m certain it’s crossed her mind. And Victoria is vicious in no rules situations. I know that firsthand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
*A video plays detailing the rivalry between Batista and Shawn Micheals*

Garcia: The following is a Stretcher Match. The only way to win is to put your opponent on the stretcher and wheel him across the finish line.

[“I Walk Alone”]

*Batista comes out and sets off his pyro*

Chimel: Introducing first, from Washington D.C., weighing 290 lb., Batista.

Trish: The Animal looks as intense as I can ever remember seeing him.

Ross: There’s only one Batista, ladies and gentlemen. Heat’s lucky to have him.

[“Sexy Boy”]

*Shawn Michaels comes out playing to the crowd as he sets off his pyro*

Finkel: and his opponent, from San Antonio, Texas, The HeartBreak Kid; Shawn Michaels.

Ross: I can’t believe that the Showstopper is still on the board this far into the draft. But Shawn Michaels has some business to settle here.

Trish: HBK had better be careful in this sort of match with Batista. Batista said he intends to injure Shawn Michaels.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 4: Batista vs. Shawn Michaels (Stretcher Match)

*honestly, I don’t think I can top the actual match here. I’ll just take out Jericho playing cheerleader and leave the rest alone*
------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimel: Here is your winner, Batista.

Ross: An emotional ending indeed.

Trish: The Animal got the payback he thought he wanted. But at what price?

Ross: I think the fallout from this match will be felt throughout WWE, well after this night is over.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Corridor:

*Kendrick and London walk by Ashley in the hall*

Ashley: Congratulations, guys.

Kendrick: Thanks, Ashley.

Ashley: Dare I say that you’ll have twice the gold at the end of the night?

London: Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Plus you’ve gotta worry about that Cell match.

*Ashley faces the wall.*

Kendrick: Ashley, promise us that you’ll be careful in there tonight.

*Ashley sighs*

Ashley: I just wanna go in there, get it started and get it over with. I’m afraid.

*London and Kendrick look at each other as Ashley starts crying*

London: We’d better….. go.

Kendrick: We’ll be watching and praying. It’ll be O.K.

*Kendrick and London depart.*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Numerous Singapore canes hang from the corners*

Chimel: The following is the Singapore Cane Match. The winner will face the WWE Triple Crown Champion at Night of Champions.

[I hear voices in my Head. They counsel me, they understand. They talk to me]

*Randy Orton comes out looking stone-faced*

Chimel: Introducing the participants, first from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing 245 lb., Randy Orton.

Styles: Look into the eyes of the former WWE Champion. Randy Orton is as focused as I can ever remember seeing him.

Tazz: RKO in the house. He’s not too pleased about joining us on Tuesday Nights, though. He doesn’t like our boss.

Styles: I have a feeling it’s going to be mutual.

[“This Fire Burns”]

*CM Punk comes out with the Money in the Bank briefcase*

Roberts: From Chicago, Illinois weighing 222 lb., CM Punk.

Cole: And here comes Mr. Money in the Bank, now a part of Smackdown.

Foley: CM Punk a very popular athlete, no doubt about it. Can the Straightedge superstar become the #1 contender and save that briefcase for another time?

[You Think You Know Me]

*Edge and Vickie come through the smoke*

Garcia: Accompanied to the ring by Vickie Guerrero, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing 250 lb., The Rated R Superstar, Edge.

Trish: Well, here comes Ahab and Jezebel. I guess they are still together. What? No wheelchair tonight? Please.

Foley: Thank you, Trish. I’ve wanted to say that for months.

Ross: Vickie Guerrero still undrafted, and unless she comes to Raw as well, she and Edge will be separated for good.

Tazz: And add to that the fact that the Undertaker is on Raw too, and the well is about dry for the Ultimate Opportunist.

[Clock Ticking]

*M.V.P. comes out of his inflatable tunnel.*

Roberts: From Miami, Florida, weighing 248 lb., Motel Vontavious Porter, M.V.P.

Ross: And M.V.P. owes a big assist to Kevin Thorn, who was just drafted to Raw. Thorn giving M.V.P. the distraction he needed to defeat Mark Henry two nights ago on Smackdown to get into this match.

Trish: And we haven’t heard the end of that situation. Henry’s on Raw too, and you heard him earlier.

Cole: He said it was gonna be bad.

[Ooooooooh Chavo!]

*Chavo comes out favoring his back*

Roberts: From El Paso, Texas, weighing 215 lb., Chavo Guerrero.

Foley: Bam Neely not accompanying Chavo tonight, thanks to injuries sustained at the hands of the Great Khali this past week on Smackdown.

Ross: And ya gotta wonder how Chavo and Edge are gonna co-exist in this match. Every man for himself.

Trish: And Chavo the only member of La Familia that’s been drafted that hasn’t come to Raw.

Styles: You stole the punch line from Tazz.

Trish: I’m sorry.

Tazz: She can have that one, Joey. I got better ones for the Cell match.

[rock theme]

*Tommy Dreamer comes out with a cane of his own*

Chimel: From Yonkers, New York, weighing 265 lb., Tommy Dreamer.

Trish: And Tommy Dreamer bringing his own hardware. Torrie wanted to keep touch with the old ECW. Hard not to do with this guy on the roster.

Cole: A shoe-in for Heat Champion if this doesn’t work out.

Tazz: Don’t count him out. This is Dreamer’s match.

[“Danger”]

*Khali and Rajin Singh come out*

Roberts: Accompanied by Rajin Singh, from India, standing seven feet tall, weighing 420 lb., The Great Khali.

*Chavo glares at Khali*

Tazz: Chavo just staring a hole through the Great Khali.

Ross: We saw what the Great Khali can do on the last ECW broadcast and then again on Smackdown. Both times involved Chavo Guerrero.

Cole: And I believe Chavo is going to look for revenge at some point in this match.

[Wellllllllllll It’s the Big Show!]

*pyro erupts before the Big Show comes out*

Garcia: And weighing 441 lb., The Big Show.

Ross: And this is where business will pick up. About 441lb. of business. The Big Show can and will dominate this match if not taken out early.

Foley: If the Great Khali wasn’t dangerous enough, having him and the Big Show will take this match to a whole new level of physicality.

Cole: This is a one-fall match, winner take all. Every man for himself

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 5: Singapore Cane Match (#1 Contendership)

Orton vs. Punk vs. Edge vs. M.V.P. vs. Chavo vs. Dreamer vs. Khali vs. Big Show

Chavo makes a beeline for Khali. Dreamer goes after Edge, Punk after M.V.P. leaving Orton to deal with Show. Big Show and Khali clean house. The two giants battle amongst themselves which Show gains the better of until Edge spears him down. Vickie screams at ringside when Khali breaks up the pin attempt. Vickie even slaps Khali afterward. (Trish: Has she lost her mind?) Vickie gets a Khali-Bomb for her trouble. (Trish: She’ll be back in the wheelchair tomorrow. Foley: Just breaks my heart.)

Punk takes over with Edge as Chavo goes after Khali again. After M.V.P. cheapshots Punk, Edge rolls out of the ring to help Chavo (Cole: Teamwork by the Familia members) Inside the ring M.V.P. hits the Drive-By on Punk only to get an RKO from Orton. Orton covers and the count is broken up by Dreamer who wears Orton out with a cane outside the ring.

On the other side of the ring Chavo tries to hold Khali for a spear. But Khali is able to throw Chavo into Edge’s path. (Ross: A malfunction at the junction for the Familia) Dreamer and Orton fight through the crowd. Punk hits the GTS on M.V.P. Cover broken up by Big Show. Punk, Edge, and a staggering Chavo beat Show down with Singapore canes before Edge hits a Spear on Show. Khali gives everyone a Khali Chop. He hits a Khali-Bomb on Edge to get the three-count.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roberts: Here is your winner, The Great Khali.

Tazz: Khali came, he saw, he kicked some ass. And now he’s the #1 contender for the Triple Crown Title.

Cole: A lot of near misses, a lot of missed cues that led to the Punjabi Nightmare winning this match-up.

Styles: But where did Randy Orton and Tommy Dreamer go? They fought through the crowd somewhere.

Ross: Well, during that match, the draft wrapped up.

Kevin Thorn
Val Venis
Katie Lea Burchill
Kofi Kingston
Mr. Kennedy
Matt Striker
Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
Vickie Guerrero

Trish: Most of the Familia getting transplanted to Monday Nights. Kennedy and both Burchills are still on Raw. That’s gonna be trouble. And Kevin Thorn and Mark Henry, yikes.

Gregory Helms
Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Matt Hardy
Stevie Richards
The Boogeyman
Chuck Palumbo
John Morrison & The Miz
Armando Estrada

Styles: Tag Teams galore coming to Heat. Shouldn’t Matt and Jeff have gone together though?

Tazz: Quiet, Joey. I think we got the better Hardy. And hey we got our old boss back. Think Ms. Wilson needs a whipping boy?

Trish: I thought that was gonna be Orton.

Tazz: You could be right, Trish.

Triple H
Cryme Tyme
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes
Shawn Micheals
Melina
Kenny Dykstra
Kelly Kelly
Nunzio

Cole: We cleaned up pretty good. Only in a random lottery draft would Triple H go this late.

Foley: It’ll be interesting to see how Ron Simmons stitches this roster together. We got
