[Location:] Lotus Valley (http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/00/1e/4a/e0/the-beautiful-town-of.jpg) (both timelines)

A small and beautiful fishing town in California. Lotus Valley attracts people from all over the world due to its beautiful pier and hillside condo's. At the top of the mountain is a small shrine created back when a chinese tribe visited Lotus Valley, bringing an assortment of martial arts shows with them that inspired some to open up dojo's to practice what they had learnt.

[Story:]

Hundreds of years ago, a new style of kung-fu known as "the five animals" was created by a strong and wise martial artist that had spent many years of his life studying the way in which animals hunt and survive, this inspired movements and powerful techniques which he made into five different styles "tiger, mantis, dragon, crane and monkey". The first five students to try these out were his finest and they mastered the style they were each given with amazing precision. But the dragon martial artist was not content with the fact that he had to be so patient before striking, he wanted to be able to freely use his fighting skills but was told by his master that it was not his destiny to master all five. The warrior became arrogant, angered by the fact that he was chosen as only a dragon and nothing more. His anger eventually corrupted his ki, sending it off balance and infecting him with a strange virus that covered the left half of his face.

As the decades passed, the warrior, who soon became known as Kurayamino Hasu (the dark lotus) slowly transformed into a powerful monster of which had strange abilities to corrupt anyone and anything that it wished to do so. Until the four other masters stood up to him, sealing half of his energy into a mountain-side in California. Kurayamino killed the warriors with deception before travelling to the mountain-side, to find that he had to slowly rebond with his seperate powers. He fell into a deep slumber as the mountain-side became inhabited with humans, soon to build a pier and houses, unaware of the darkness that lurked not far from their homes. Whilst Kurayamino slept, the original master of the five animals sent his youngest son with a set of magical scrolls to Lotus Valley, forcing him to live eternally until the curse of Kurayamino was gone forever.

Jin Nakano waited for thousands of years in his shrine upon the top of Lotus Valley, watching the small village slowly transform into a beautiful tourist spot filled with happy civillians. Inpatient, he began meditating, only to be trapped in this state by Kurayamino as he broke free of the mountain side and destroyed Lotus Valley. Finally freeing himself from his out of body state, Jin looked at the destruction he had allowed Kurayamino to cause. Using a powerful scroll, he opened up a portal to the year 2006, when he first began his meditation and travelled back to find five suitable candidates to train and aid his battle against the powerful Kurayamino. But with only high school students around, will Jin be able to find the five destined to help him? Or will the world crumble as it did in Jin's future? Find out in Power Rangers Shaolin Fury!

[Red Shaolin Tiger Ranger = Amika 'Ami' Kumai: iVoid]

Gear: Shao-Gauntlets (morpher & sidearm)
Weaponry: Wushu Rings

[Green Shaolin Mantis Ranger = Raziel Christensen: Jaden Rose]

Gear: Shao-Gauntlets (morpher & sidearm)
Weaponry: Xiao Sais
Style: Mantis style kung-fu uses whip-like movements to deflect attacks before returning the favor tenfold with a destructive "hook" style attack that can be deadly.

[Purple Shaolin Dragon Ranger = Alex Ulliel: some guy]

Gear: Shao-Gauntlets (morpher & sidearm)
Weaponry: Lunar Lance
Style: Many of the dragons movements are soft and circular that terminate with sudden powerful strikes to catch opponents off-guard. Grabbing and tearing motions are common strikes for this style.

[Villains:]

Kurayamino Hasu - The Dragon Lord (http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/5130/21295634fs6.png)

Once an incredible martial arts master, Kurayamino became infected with a strange virus during his late teens which altered his appearance drastically. The virus soon corrupted his body and became a human-dragon hybrid. His mind slowly dwindled into a menacing, hateful one and he used his new found powers to corrupt martial arts masters around the world - making an army of them - whilst his army grew, he slept in a mountain side just outside of Lotus Valley, allowing his powers develop, though they still have a long way.

Itanus (http://www.tokucentral.com/database/sailor_moon/images/sm-vi-youma29.jpg)

The corrupted, renewed corpse of a once, genius scientist. Itanus is the brains behind the entire dragon empire, leading the way to the modern age with amazing creations of creatures that even Kurayamino would struggle to think up. Itanus can also hack into military computer systems, turning the worlds powers against any enemy that he should wish to do so. Despite seeming completely loyal to his master, Itanus had alterior motives in mind.

Dynasty & Gladius (http://www.tokucentral.com/database/sailor_moon/images/sm-vi-swordshield.jpg)

During the dragon lords travels, he came across two great swordsmen in England. After a long battle, he turned them into armour bound generals that have incredible powers capable of taking down even the strongest of foes. Dynasty specialises in samurai techniques whilst Gladius is bigger on defense with his giant shield.

Dakura (http://www.supersentai.com/database/2001_gaoranger/images/gao-vi-orgettes.jpg)

Corrupted martial arts warriors of the past. These are more than mere grunts and could keep even the strongest of fighters on their toes with their quick and powerful skills. They follow Kurayamino with a strong determination for world domination.

[Notes:]

1) This is not first come first serve. I will take your RPG history and bio before making my choice.

2) Think about the character you're going to create in reference to the role you want. Would a serious character really suit the monkey style?

3) Regular posts are a must. I will not let this RPG die, recasts are possible and WILL happen, if needed.

4) As always, character sideplots/idea's are welcomed ^^

[=- The Game -=]

[What to do:] It's a Friday lunchtime in Lotus Valley. Lunch has been extended due to the teachers needing to discuss a recent break-in to the school with the police. Have your character leave their latest class and head out to wherever they'd normally eat lunch around the school; be it the caffeteria, the picnic tables outside...Wherever you wish. Try to socialise with other characters whilst you are at it...It's up to you guys if your guys already know each other or not.

Have fun!

[=- My Post -=]

Amika 'Ami' Kumai

As the bell rang to signal a lesson ending and lunch finally beginning, this young Japanese girl leapt from her chair, quickly flicking her hair forwards and packing her things...Only to realise that she was being told to slow down by Mr. Abrahams as he wanted to tell the class that they had an extended lunch today. The class erupted in a roar of applause for the teacher's announcement and Amika could only roll her eyes. "Extended boredom" she sighed, the thought of having to roam around a school without her skateboard or bike was killing her. She grabbed her bag from the desk and placed her things in it before weaving through the jocks by the doorway that were telling her to eat lunch with them. "I'd like to keep my food in my stomach, if you don't mind" Ami smiled at their burnt expressions before walking down the hallway.

The mood around the school was at an alltime high and Amika couldn't understand why, she didn't mind sitting in classes, it was what she was here for and though she wasn't a total geek or anything, but didn't hate school either. It was either school, watching Alex paint or skateboarding with Dustin...Her life didn't really consist of much more and she didn't really mind that for the most part. Her brain continued to wander as she slammed her broken locker with her palm, opening it up as she exchanged her school bag for a small one that had her lunch in it. "I seriously hope that Alex bought extra's for me" her french friend was an incredible cook and whatever he had brought to school today was most definately more appealing than a simple ham and cheese sandwich which was mostly all dry by now.

Exitting through a set of double doors, Ami shuffled her way onto an empty picnic table out in the Californian sunshine before sliding out her cellphone and texting her College friend.

'Extended lunch. Yipee for me. Do you want to go boarding later? Ami xox'

Her phone was promtly slammed shut to avoid gaining curious glances from the cheerleaders on a nearby table. They were talking about the usual boring crap of boys and the schools recent game. Which was a terrible one as far as Amika could remember. She pulled out her sandwich and sat it on the table, glaring at it through its wrapper with a look of temptation. "I am hungry" she mummured to herself, trying to find some possible way to force herself to eat it.

Haru Chang

The sound of middle age woman speaking about the history of Egypt filled the classroom. Everyone's ears seemed to be glued to her words. Some student's eyes were wide open with amazement; others were just staring at her with boredom. But one student didn't care too much for this lesson. All the way in the back sat a young kid with a blue hoody. The hood covered his head, but it was obvious that he was sleeping from the low and calm sound of snoring. But it was drowned out by the sound the student's iPod. Though the device wasn't at maximum volume, the headphones were. The fast paced song filled the back of the room. The teacher was cut off from her lesson, when the class went quiet for about four seconds. Her face tightened up at the thought of someone using an electrical device in class. Let alone sleeping while doing that, he was breaking two rules at the same time. She walked in between roles as she pulled down the hoody, revealing a black haired Asian. His hair was covering his ears, she grinned as she parted the hair away from the ears. The authority figure pulled out the headphones, as the music became slightly louder. Haru smirked in his sleep and continued to snore. Grabbing a nearby text book, the woman threw it down as it collided with the floor. The loud sound woke the sleeper. "Lunchtime!" He shouted with ease as he attempted to run out of the class. His head met the woman's palm, causing him to sit back down in his seat.

"Mr. Chang I don't appreciate your attitude in my class" She spoke out while tapping her foot; he smirked as he sat back in his seat with his arms crossed behind his head. "I don't appreciate you waking me up so early in your class" He said in a sarcastic manner, the teacher pointed to a poster that hung next above her desk. "Do you mind reading the first two rules Mr. Chang?" Haru smiled as he placed his hands on the edge of his desk as he leaned forward. "As a matter of fact I don't." The woman smirked as Haru squinted in the direction of the rules. "Rule 1 - No Electronic devices, Especially iPods..." He gulped slowly as he looked down at his blue iPod. He continued to read "Rule 2 - No sleeping what so ever" Haru smiled at his teacher nervously. "Detention Mr. Chang" Haru sat back in his chair as the smirk vanished. "Naturally"

Sitting there quietly he looked down at his slip, reading the reason why he got this punishment. He smirked as he read to himself. "A pure disregard of the rules, and does not show respect."

As the sentence came to end, the sound of the bell ringing filled the room. Haru shot up from his seat as he made his way to the door; he managed to be the first one out. While running he swiped a Banana and a Water Bottle from a lower classman's trey. He slowed down as he stopped in the middle of the field. His eyes finally met an empty picnic table that sat a familiar face. The fellow senior was wearing red; she seemed to be waiting for others to join her. He made his way to the picnic table as he placed his water bottle in the center of the table as he sat down, on the opposite side of the girl. "I don't know how you can put up with Mrs. Ballard, Ami." He handed her his detention slip, which he just received.

Alex Ulliel

Alex gently sketched out the picture before him, knowing that whilst the classroom wasn't that aesthetically pleasing to the eye, he would be able to bring out some beauty from it. He was quick to ignore the babbling of the teacher at the front of the class, the furious scribbling of notes of some students and the side-chatting of others, to completely focus and immerse himself into his sketchpad.

Suddenly, the bell rang, suprising him into drawing an unwanted squiggle, which he managed to turn into a meaningful line. As the other students stood up, he did the same, closing his sketchpad and slipping it into his shoulder-bag, whilst the teacher said something about an extended lunchtime. He shuffled slowly between a mixture of social classes - jocks, geeks and everything in between - before finally emerging out of his classroom and straight towards his locker, exchanging one bag for another.

Now to find Ami... Alex said, gently closing his locker while he once again passed almost unnoticed through the hallways, unable to avoid the gazes of some. In short time, he located his friend and roommate, sitting with Haru Chang, a friendly guy who Alex didn't mind at all.

"Bonjour, Jolie." Alex greeted Ami as always, quietly, and with his special nickname for her. As he took a seat next to Ami, he revealed his lunchbox with extra food for her - as always. It wasn't much, he was still getting the hang of making sushi, but since he knew she enjoyed it, he made the effort. And he also made a strawberry milkshake.

Amika 'Ami' Kumai

Staring down her sandwich on the table in a comical fashion, Amika's mind was pretty made-up that she was not going to eat this. She couldn't tell if it was the fact that a bug had just landed on the wrapper or the disgusting idea of normal food that was putting her off it. Without giving it another thought, she tossed it from where she sat into a nearby trashcan, gaining some dirty looks from students whom she barely missed with her throw. "Sorry" she whimpered before looking around for any sign of Haru or Alex...Her usual little crowd, with a few extra's that decided to join from time to time. Looking up with a big grin of her face, Ami welcomed Haru to the table and laughed at the detention slip he had handed her. "She just can't grasp how special you are" Ami giggled at her explaination. "Anything new with you mon ami?" listening back to her sentence, she facepalmed.

"Spent way too much time with Alex" Amika smiled at Haru only to hear the familiar french voice from behind her, she quickly shuffled across, eager to look at what he had for her today - more so than she should have been - "You shouldn't have!" the girl in red giggled, swiping up the food and opening the cooler container, she ate a piece of the sushi and smiled gratefully. "Thankyou, as always, you're a life saver". Ami leant her head on his shoulder briefly before sitting up and continuing to eat. "Haru, did you steal that banana?" she laughed at her friend's antics. He'd always have some sort of trouble chasing him and though it could get pretty bad at times, Ami adored hearing the stories after he was caught and punished.

As she sipped on her milkshake with blissful joy. There was nothing better than a strawberry milkshake in her eyes, she looked at Alex. "It's so sad that i'm useless at making sushi, yet here you come with your artistic self and make it pretty much perfect" she rolled her eyes playfully. "What have you got for lunch?" her question was directed at both of her male friends as she finished up her lunch and dropped her cellphone on the floor. It rolled across the floor and right by the side of the cheerleaders. "Great" Ami sighed, pushing herself up, she walked over to the table and picked it up. Ignoring the barrage of insults she gained, Ami walked away calmly, flicking the cheerleaders off as she returned. "So, as we were saying...".

Haru Chang

He chuckled slightly "Ha ha ha, your hilarious Ami" Haru smiled as he watched the clouds go by. They moved slowly, and the young man started to lose track of his surrounding. That was until a familiar voice was heard; Haru drew his attention from the sky only to see Alex. "What's up Frenchy!?" He spoke out with smile on his face, as he glanced at the lunchbox which held food for Ami. "Sushi is overrated, try a banana" He held his banana up before taking another bite off it. Smirking at Ami's question, Haru shook his head in denial. "Me steal, I would never do such a thing. I'm just borrowing it from a friend." Pointing at his water bottle, his smirk became wider. "The same goes for the Water" His grin took up nearly his whole face, only to quickly vanish when Ami dropped her phone.

The female managed to pick herself up and grab her phone; despite the looks she was given. His smirk quickly appeared as she shot the birdie at them. "That's the Ami we all know and love, now watch this!" A mischievous thought came so his mind, grabbing the water bottle. He dropped down to the floor and crawled over to the cheerleader's table. Without them noticing he unscrewed the cap and spilled water over both benches. He grabbed a handful of mud that was lying around on the floor. Haru smothered it over the water, allowing it to get that moist feel to it. He quickly scurried back as he grabbed a spare napkin from his friend's lunchbox wiping his hands clean. He sat quietly at his friends table as he sat still watching his plan unfold. "Watch and be amazed" He spoke out with a smirk on his face, as each and every cheerleader sat down at about the same time. Five seconds in to it, each and every one of them shot up as they quickly turned around looking down at their bottoms. The sounds of screeching filled the field, as Haru fell out of his chair busting a gut from laughing. "Genius!" He kicked the air with his feet, while holding his gut on the floor as he sat back at the table.

"So seen any good movies lately" He spoke out while maintaining his laughter. Haru tried not to draw attention but it was obvious from his smirk that he was the culprit. A tall blonde in a pink and white cheerleading outfit made his way to the table. "You did this didn't you!?" Haru looked up at her with a straight face; he was good at hiding his smile. "Now why ever would you say that Bridget?" The blonde glared daggers at the teen. "Because it's you!" Haru placed his right hand where his heart would be. "Now that just hurts, and I thought we were friends." She continued to glare as she stomped off in anger. "Now that my friends is comedy" He clapped it up for himself while chuckling.

Alex Ulliel

"No problem." Alex smiled, as Ami gratefully took Alex's sushi and milkshake. Before he could reply to her next question, he watched the antics of her two friends, as Ami once again came into conflict with the cheerleaders, and Haru once again was his mischevious self and pranked the unsuspecting group of girls.

Alex couldn't help butr smirk to himself at their reactions, as one of the cheerleaders themselves stormed up to their table, and Haru quickly sent them on their way.

"Can't say that wasn't funny." Alex said quietly, as he reached into his lunchbox to produce a single apple. Wasn't much, but it didn't really take much for him to get full. Alex looked around for a while, before turning to Ami. "So, uh, are we doing anything today, or is it just the usual?

Erin Taormina

A girl lazily traced imaginary circles on her paper, which were supposed to be her notes, as the teacher in front droned on and on about the importance of a thesis statement and how it reflected on the rest of the paper. Another student nudged the girl, quickly slipping her a note. The girl lifted her head of messy brown curls and very discreetly opened the paper. The teacher up front was too absorbed in his lecture to even notice a girl in the back, reading a note from her desk partner. She read the note carefully and didn't respond. "Erin!" the other student whispered. Erin Taormina sighed and re-read the note. In big, bold Sharpie, she scratched out the words, "NO." Before the girl could start pouting and begin cajoling Erin into coming the "huge-ass party that everyone was going to", the bell rang, prompting her to propel herself out of her seat and through the door before anyone could notice she was gone.

Erin briskly walked towards her locker, depositing her books and swapping them out for the ones she needed the class after lunch. She managed to shove her bookbag into her locker before heading towards the cafeteria. She grabbed an apple, avoided the mystery meat, and grabbed a pudding and a carton of milk on her way out. She paid for her lunch quickly and headed over to the running track. Erin didn't feel much like going out and being sociable, and the only people she could possibly tolerate at the moment were the ones who knew she went to the field if she couldn't be found in the cafeteria. With a sigh, she sat down on one of the bleachers and opened her measly lunch. She had a big meet coming up, so she didn't want to be splurging on junk food. "Is it just me or does school get worse every year?" she mused to herself, comparing her senior year with the rest of the years she had endured in high school.

Raziel Christensen

As of that Friday afternoon, Raziel managed to get sent to the principal's office three times, got yelled at, then got nearly expelled... all over incidents that Raziel never did. However, his reputation made sure he was the first suspect in several school fights and a bunch of other unruly things. This break-in buisness was another example. He was called into the principal's office for at least half an hour before they had called Raziel's mother and got a good alibi. By the time they released him back to class, lunch period had started. Irritated and less than ecstatic about the rest of the day, Raziel sprinted to his locker and opened it. Thirteen notes fell out of it, making him roll his eyes. The same reputation that had got him blamed for the break-in and the fights was attracting all these girls to him... most of which, he found rather bitchy and demanding. Trying to keep a decent amount of calm, Raziel threw the notes out and put his backpack in the decently large locker. Before he closed his locker, he grabbed his acoustic guitar and the little lunch he had brought, since he and his mother didn’t trust school food.

Slowly, Raziel cut through the lunchtime crowds and headed up to the single place where he could usually be alone: the track field bleachers. Walking outside and up the path to the massive rows of metal benches, Raziel climbed up the bleachers from a side staircase, making sure he didn’t let his guitar touch the ground. However, as he walked to his usual spot, he noticed a girl, around his age and grade, eating a very small lunch. Her curly, messy auburn hair caught the sun slightly, while her green eyes just seemed to look around at the empty track field. He stared at her for a long while, trying to remember her from somewhere, but he couldn’t think. Instead, quietly, he walked down to her and sat down next to her, asking, “This place is quiet, isn’t it?” Raziel’s hair was just as messy as hers, though it was a darker shade, and his dark brown eyes stared into her green ones, showing hints of extreme inner turmoil, sadness… and pure anger… but a great amount of control.

Erin Taormina

Erin picked at her food, her stomach growling for something like a slice or pizza or a cheeseburger. She sighed as she finished up her lunch, checking her watch as she did so. "Wow, record time, five minutes into lunch," she muttered to herself. She stared out onto the field, contemplating the last conversation she had had with Michael the previous night. He had told her he was planning to move back to Connecticut once he was finished with high school. Lotus Valley was nice, but it was his home. After she had broken her ankle, Erin just wasn't sure where exactly home was anymore. As she thought about it, a phantom pain twinged through her ankle, causing her to roll it around a few times.

Erin suddenly felt a presence and it sat down next to her. She sincerely hoped that it wasn't an idiot guy who thought he could get the girl by playing the sensitive guy who was willing to listen. Looking up, she saw a pair of eyes that both scared and fascinated her. They were pained and angry, although Erin could see that the anger was not directed at her. She vaguely registered his question and she nodded. "Yeah," she muttered, tearing her eyes away. "It's a nice place to think," she added. Erin couldn't help but notice that he was still looking at her, and she felt a blush creep up on her cheeks. "So what do you need to think about?" she asked genuinely. She steeled herself and lifted her head, meeting his gaze again. "You don't have to tell me," Erin tacked on, not wanting to seem as though she was prying into his personal life.

Erin pulled out the clip in her hair and let the mess of loose curls to cascade down her back. She ran her fingers through it to shake it out a bit. Suddenly, she remembered something important. "I'm Erin," she blurted out, blushing again and ducking her head. As she did so, she noticed the guitar that the boy was holding. "You play?" she asked. This boy began to intrigue her more and more, just by observing him.

Principal Traviss

After a morning of frantic searching through the student records, he had finally found the five that had, had their files stolen during the recent break-in to the schools office. He nodded at a teacher, allowing her to leave the room as he called the police. "Yes, yes, I understand" Principal Traviss sighed with deep concern before pressing down the button on the microphone on his desk to speak to the students. "Could the following students please report to my office immediatly, Ms. Kumai, Mr. Chang, Mr. Ulliel, Ms. Taormina and Mr. Christensen..Thankyou". Almost instantly after raising his mouth from the microphone, the Principal was faced with a dark and disturbing entity. "What are you?" he asked, before the creature dived at him, corrupting his mind and forcing him to sit in a casual pose behind his desk as if nothing had happened.

Amika 'Ami' Kumai

Haru was up to no good again but as much as Ami wanted to look away from his most recent scandal, she couldn't even attempt to do so. The muddy water trick was one of his finest jokes ever and when Bridget came to confront him about it, she was about to get up and knock the cheerleader for six...But decided against it as Haru seemed to once again, get himself out of a bad situation with his teasing antics and terribly bad-innocent smile. "What are we gonna do with you?" she dropped her head to the table in a mock manner before hearing Alex's question about what they were going to do for the extended lunch break. "Well, we could sit and piss Miss. Blonde off a bit longer or go shoot hoops for a while?" Ami realised that she wasn't dressed for such a thing, her summer dress would most definitely get in the way of such a sport, but she didn't mind watching Alex and Haru going head to head at all. "Unless you're scared" she fluttered her eye lashes at Haru.

Deciding for herself that they'd go play basketball, Ami packed away the small reminants of the lunch that Alex had made for her and placed them in her bag for safe keeping. After tying her hair back into a loose ponytail and adjusting her converse hightops to make sure they wouldn't come loose and cause her to fall, he grabbed ahold of Haru and Alex and began walking and babbling on as always. "You know, i'm really tired of this boring routine, guys, one of you needs to get a girlfriend for us to torture or something" Amika half joked with an innocent grin on her face. "Oh and Alex, I almost put my make-up on with one of your paintbrushes this morning...Please don't leave them in the bathroom" as they continued to walk and joke about the usual antics, Principal Traviss called out their names...Including one she didn't expect to hear; Erin Taormina. "This can't be bad, she's innocent as they come".

After a nervous walk down the halls towards the Principal's office, Amika knocked at the door on behalf of the three of them and entered when she thought she was told to via a weird mumur coming from the Principal's mouth. "You wanted to see us, sir?" Ami flashed her innocent, child-like grin before nodding to the order of taking a seat in front of the desk. She felt Haru and Alex's presence, but was too nervous from the serious look on the Principal's face to look around.

Raziel Christensen

Raziel smiled softly as the girl started to blush and he listened to her, until she said something about his thoughts. Quickly, Raziel said, "No, it’s okay. I come here to think about my future and my home life. My mom and I aren't necessarily rich, so we both ave to work hard, especially me, so I can lessen my mom's workload. It's harsh, but it's life." His eyes stared into hers even more, but then he looked away, staring towards the track. If she looked closely, she probably could have seen a slight blush. "I'm trying to remember where I've seen you, but nothing really comes to mind... you just seem to be there. In remembrance, I mean," Raziel said, looking down with another soft smile. His eyes were starting to become more caring and genuine now, also, though the anger still remained.

When she suddenly pulled out her hair clip, Raziel watched, his heart pumping a little more, but when she suddenly said her name, Raziel said, "I'm Raziel. Unusual name, I'm sure, but my full name is a little more so.” Slowly, he put his hand under her chin and lifted her head to face him. “No need to hide. Sometimes, people just trip up. And, yes, I play the guitar and have a band, though they can be quite irritating with the whole getting gigs thing,” Raziel said. His breathing quickened for a moment, before slowing. However, he stopped, grimaced a bit, and pulled away, saying, “I’m sorry. Kinda got a little, um, taken or something like that.” In reality, Raziel was nervous and was thinking of all those admirer notes that he got. He really didn’t want to give Erin the wrong idea, nor did he want to go fast with what he felt. He wanted to get to know her first, not mess with her head or provide disastrous dates (Raziel himself hasn’t had a date yet).

Then, the announcement came, calling for three other students that Raziel barely recognized, then a name Raziel noticed as Erin’s, then his own. “Oh, come on, I’ve already been to the office! I thought I was cleared,” Raziel said, fuming. “I think this is getting ridiculous, but do you want me to walk with you? Maybe talk more before we get talked down to.” He offered his hand in a friendly way this time...

Erin Taormina

Erin looked down at her hands nervously, until the silence was broken when her new companion began speaking. His voice was melodic and deep, with a rough edge to it that didn't sound mean, but as though he had gone through a lot of bad things in his life. Her heart went out to him as he began speaking about his mom and their troubles with money and work. Erin's family wasn't the richest family on the block, but they had enough money to live comfortably, especially after her father's new job. She felt his eyes on her, but forced herself not to look at him, out of fear of looking like a stalker. However, all bets were off when he mentioned seeing her before somewhere. Erin searched through her memory to search for the head of messy hair and smoldering eyes, but she found none. "Yeah, sort of a familiar presence," she nodded. "If you ever came to any of the cross country or track meets, you've probably seen me either running or getting ready to run," she told him. "It's what I do," she smiled.

Erin looked up at him again when he introduced himself, following her lead. "Raziel? You'd think I'd remember that name," she murmured. She noticed his eyes had changed. There was still some rage and power lurking in them, but she noticed a small twinge of interest and genuineness in them. She found herself in a state she'd never been in before. The boy before her sparked an immense fascination. As she was staring down at the ground, willing her cheeks to stop flaming with color, a strong hand fitted itself around her chin, and Erin found herself looking into Raziel's eyes again. She tore her eyes away from his and studied the rest of his face. His pale skin and sharp cheekbones strongly defined his facial features and his angled nose made his face look long and slender.

As Raziel began to talk about his music, Erin gently took his hand and set it down in her lap. "I would love to hear you play sometime, well you and your band," Erin quickly threw out into the conversation before she lost the confidence. "My brother used to play, and I miss hearing the sound around the house," she mused thoughtfully. Raziel became suddenly very quiet, and she gave a little smile as he was embarrassed for talking too much. "I feel as though I've been dominating this conversation. It's okay to talk a bit," she encouraged him. In reality, she just wanted to know more about this intriguing creature. The loudspeaker squawked as it crackled to life. Erin jumped and noticed she was still holding his hand. Quickly letting go, she distinctly heard her name among the five called, along with Raziel's. He offered his hand to her, and Erin gratefully took it. As they began their trek to the office, she searched her mind for some topics again.

Erin furrowed her brow as she tried to think of a reason she'd be called to the principal's office. She tried not to piss anyone off, although she could come off as cold and caustic at times. "So you've already been there once today? What, pray tell, was the offense?" she joked quietly. His hand was warm in hers, but she reluctantly let it go as they began to walk. She didn't want other students getting the wrong ideas. "I really hope they hold us past lunchtime," Erin smirked. "I don't feel much like going to French today."

Haru Chang

He continued to laugh along side his two friends while walking at a moderate speed. "Yeah because I want to date a girl in this school" The teen said with a sarcastic tone as his smirk vanished at the sound of a familiar voice. He looked up at a speaker that was being held up by a metal platform, as his mortal enemies’ voice can be heard loudly from it. "Looks like it's that time again, the Daily Principal's Office Visit." After making that remark his eyebrow was raised at the names that followed his. "Wait why are you two being called to the office as well?" Haru continued to walk with the thought racing through his mind. After minutes of walking he finally stopped at the wooden door, though a window covered half of it. He glared at the name on the door, as he proceeded to follow his friends inside. Walking inside the room like it was his own house; he hopped on to a nearby counter ignoring the books he was sitting on.

Haru sat there for a good thirty seconds before throwing a paper ball at the back of Ami's head. He waited for her to turn around as he shot her a funny look. Smirking at his actions, he quickly sat back in relaxation as he placed both hands behind head. "So Sir what have we done today?" Again he spoke out with the sarcastic tone, this time it was to annoy the elder. From the corner of his eye he looked outside toward the hallway seeing Erin and some other guy in green besides her. Haru was still confused, at of all people why would Erin along side three others called to the office. For no apparent reason of course, he knew why he was there. But that was because his attitude toward his teacher earlier in the day.

He couldn't help but notice the smile on the man's face; he had not once seen the principal. Well at least when Haru was around, there were no referral or detention slips in sight. All that Haru could point out was the principal's quiet state. "Something's up..." He thought to himself quietly as he turned his attention to the four other students hoping they noticed as well.

Alex Ulliel

Quicker than Alex knew it, he was being dragged to the basketball courts. While he wasn't particularly athletic, he could hold his own, as long as monkey-boy Haru didn't start flying around the courts like usual.

"Don't worry about it." Alex sighed, as he heard Ami mention her make-up and his paintbrushes. It wasn't a first, and it probably wouldn't be a last - and it was his fault, after all. Suddenly, before they even made it to the courts, they heard their names came out, and Alex noted the strange look on Ami's face. The three of them then decided that they had to turn around and go back to the principal's office.

Alex wasn't nervous, rather curious. He had never been to the principal's office before, as the things he usually got in trouble with were small things, like being late or not handing in homework. As he entered the office and took a seat with Ami and Haru, he couldn't help but have a look around, ignoring Ami's frigidness and Haru's antics, right until he saw the other two enter the room. Alex took one look at everyone's confused and anxious expressions and reached a final statement - what the hell...?

Raziel Christensen

Raziel smiled softly again, saying, "Now that you mention it, I have probably seen you on the track. But, only once or twice, I think." He shifted the way he walked a little, slowing down so they could take as much time as possible. "I want this to last so I'm exempt from Algebra. I absolutely hate that class." His cheeks were blood red with blushing shyness, something that was caused earlier by holding hands with Erin on her lap. However, when that moment had been shattered along with any other chance of touching her soft skin, Raziel's eyes darkened again. Steering their walk towards his locker, Raziel stored his guitar inside and threw his lunch bag in with it, saying, "I don't need that confiscated, or else I might get quite angry."

Walking through the halls again, Raziel said, "Maybe I'll play for you sometime. It's always good to have some music in your life, even if it might not be as good as your brother's." He didn't smile again for a while, but he couldn't help a grin and a shake of his head when he heard "Raziel and Erin? Together? That's odd..." It was short, however, as Raziel turned and glared at the student who said that. The student slowly backed away.

"As you can see, most people are afraid of me. I've gotten into more than 50 fights this year. Luckily, most were off school grounds, but... yeah. I'm not known for staying out of trouble, unlike you. That's why I got called in the office before now. The principal thought I had something to do with the break in," Raziel said, looking down, as if he was ashamed. "Now, I run and take Tai Chi. That stuff calms me down enough to walk away from fights." He looked anxious now, since he and Erin were in front of the crowded office door.

Stepping inside, Raziel noticed one face immediately and the other two out of sheer luck. Haru Chang was a guy who annoyed him greatly, even though he and Raziel never had a personal problem with each other before. Alex and Ami, Raziel knew only from student whispers, most saying they were an item or something, and an odd one at that. Raziel shook his head, before looking at the principal... though, that made Raziel flinch a little bit. Principal Traviss had just looked super angry when Raziel last saw him, but now he was as calm as could be. Roughly, Raziel grabbed Erin's hand, whispering, "Something isn't right, so be prepared."

Erin Taormina

Erin slowed to match Raziel's pace. "Ah, so you're not a math person I guess," she smiled. "I prefer math to history and English though." She pointedly ignored his blush, knowing that her cheeks would be painted red if she stared. She stared at the ground as they walked. However when she looked up, she found that they were nowhere near the office, and in fact, they were in the hallway with the lockers in it. She was quiet as Raziel stored his guitar in it. "Oh yeah, don't worry about it. I understand. My brother wouldn't let anyone touch his guitar after one of out little sisters accidentally scratched it," she joked. As they began to walk through the halls, he offered to play for her sometime, and Erin was struck speechless. Her first impressions of this boy had been completely blown out of the water. Raziel went on to say something about having music in our lives, and she nodded wholeheartedly.

"Yeah, my brother stopped playing after we moved out here from Connecticut," Erin explained. "He really loved it. Whenever he was having a bad day, he'd shut himself in his room for hours and I'd hear him playing, to escape." They walked in silence for a bit. Erin's ears turned red when she heard a student speculating as to why they were walking around the school together, as if they were close friends. However, he quickly shrunk away as Raziel turned towards the voice. "I can see why people are scared of you," she murmured. "You have that look about you, sort of dangerous..." she trailed off, not wanting him to take offense. "It's not a bad thing, but it just makes you seem slightly unapproachable," Erin stuttered.

"The break-in at the office?" she looked at him quizzically. "That's sort of discriminatory, isn't it?" she asked heatedly. "They shouldn't be allowed to do that just because people pick fights with you," she raised her voice slightly. However, she calmed herself when Raziel mentioned running. "You run?" she asked him, her voice perking up ever so slightly. "What's your best time?" she grinned. She knew she was one of the fastest kids in school, but it was always nice to get some good companions that could keep up every now and then. Upon entering through the door, Erin's eyes quickly scanned everyone else's faces. She knew all of them, each of them being in at least one of her classes. She knew Ami thought of her as a goody-two-shoes, something she resented because the girl didn't know Erin at all.

While Erin was going through the other occupants in the room, she noticed the principal's expression, something entirely too calm for someone who sounded quite urgent over the intercom. She became acutely aware of Raziel grabbing her hand, and his proximity to her. His voice hissed into her ear, and she nodded almost imperceptibly. Erin unconsciously shifted her weight from one foot to another, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. It was a nervous habit, although her face looked like a perfect mask of confusion and relaxation. She turned her body ever so slightly so she was facing Raziel more, feeling safer almost immediately. "So, is anyone going to explain what's going on?" she muttered.

Itanus

Exploding from the principals body in a burst of white light. Itanus landed in a crouched position on the table, his tentacles extended outwards, locking the door and windows tight and covering the room in a dark purple glow. His eyes lit up manically as he looked at the students before him. "I see shaolin spirits...Weak ones, but still a threat" his mind began to calculate the amount of training it would take to get these students to become full fledged warriors that could take on his master and when he finally came to his evaluation, a grin spread across his face. "Maybe I could prolong your lifespan, my master wouldn't mind...But I'd love to perform some tests" the bewildered expressions on their faces made him grin more manically than ever before but then a burst of energy hit him in the gut, sending him crashing into the portrait on the wall behind him.

Jiro Nakano

His pace quickened as he neared the school, he could feel his limps screaming at him in exhaustion after the long decent from the cliff just a few mere seconds ago. "If you so much as touch them, Itanus, you're dead" Jiro spat. He had already had a vision of what would happen should he not make it in time and the lives of five innocent teenagers was not something he was about to give up. As he reached the principals office, he could see a purple glow erupting from it.

Quickly pulling out a scroll, he dove at the door, teleporting right through it to perform a heavy kick that sent Itanus flying backwards. Jiro turned to the students quickly, sensing their incredible animal energies. "I need you to come with me, do not be afraid". Jiro pulled out a longer scroll, quickly signing it, he vanished with them, only to reappear in his small dojo on the top of the mountain.

Knowing that the students he had just saved would be terrified, he immediatly backed away from them and sat on a chair with his hands in plain sight. "I am not going to harm you" Jiro wore a small smile to reassure them, but his mind was in a panicked state...It had been a close call, much too close for his liking. "I am Jiro Nakano".

Amika 'Ami' Kumai

As she sat in the office, her feet tapping together in an impatient manner, Ami tried to keep her eyes from the principal...He was looking strangely at the group and still silent despite the fact that they had all entered and were sitting silently. She felt a light tap at the back of her head and watched as a paper ball rolled in front of her. "I'll kill you for this" she mouthed back to Haru, the blatent culprit for such a crime. Time seemed to tick by slower and slower as the group began asking if there was something that they had done and Amika secretly felt like telling them to shut up and let the man speak..But as she looked up at him, something changed, he grinned a dark and menacing grin before exploding into a completely new robotic form that caused Amika to fly backwards on her chair.

She scrambled backwards as Itanus wrapped his tentacles around every inch of the room, making sure that there was no escape. "Wah-w-what do you want with us?" Ami asked as she clutched tightly to Alex's shirt, she was grateful for someone being nearby when she had her shocked fall but could not take her eyes off the strange lifeform that had just exploded from her principals body. It seemed to be thinking what to do with them and mentioned something to do with animal spirits and experimenting. "Seriously, people are going to notice that something is wrong soon" Amika scorned herself for sounding so childish, but honestly couldn't help it, she was teriffied and was pretty sure that she was going to die a slow and painful death if something didn't happen soon.

And then, answering her prayers was a bright light that sent Itanus flying backwards. Amika quickly stumbled to her feet and ran for the window but it was still blocked. The bright light that had saved her had now taken the form of a chiseled asian man that was assuring them that everything would be fine. He rolled out a scroll and soon enough, the walls around the group changed. They were now sat in a quaint japanese styled room with wooden rafters and japanese paintings all across the walls. Jiro spoke to tell them of his name and that he wouldn't hurt them. "Thank you for saving us...That's what you did right?" her mind felt like it weighed ten tons right now.

Raziel Christensen

Raziel, during Erin and his walk through the halls earlier, had said, "Your brother has good tastes. But, yeah, people don't like me, not even the staff. Discrimination comes about every day, though, don't you think? People constantly try to estimate you... it's harsh..." After a while, he had thought about what she had said about his dangerous appearance. "Are you scared...?" Raziel asked darkly. His eyes were severe then, just staring ahead. Not even looking at her and barely hearing her answer, he said, "You should be..." But, as suddenly as his dark attitude had came, he had smiled and said, "I'm kidding, Erin. With me, there's nothing to be afraid of..." He didn't get to answer Erin's running questions before they were going in the office...

Now, in the principal's office, Raziel could only stare as the principal turned into a humanoid monster, with tentacles that quickly locked them from any possible escape. Using a quick hooking movement with his arm, Raziel brought Erin in close, letting a small hiss escape his lips. "If we are going to die, I'm going to go out protecting her," Raziel thought, his arm tightening around Erin at the thought. His mind barely registered the monster's words, while his eyes kept a deadly lock on the monster. "Over my dead body," Raziel sneered, his word's coming out just after Ami's.

Raziel was never given the chance to die... at least, not yet. A bright, human-shaped light came through the still closed door, kicking the monster away. As the light started to die down, Raziel noticed a scroll come out of nowhere... before the principal's office just seemed to disappear like nothing. In its place, was a Japanese-styled room, with heavy wood and Japanese paintings and decorations. Essentially, it was a dojo. "Who are you? I mean, we know your name, but... what are you about?" Raziel asked, but then, he added, "Thanks for saving us, by the way."

Alex Ulliel

Alex was not ready for what happened next. The tension in the air was thick, and he himself had to hold on to his seat to avoid jumping out of it once that monster - whatever it was - had leapt out of the principal's body to face all five of them. He couldn't and didn't want to move, noting that Ami was tightly clutching his shirt. All he did was stare back into the monster's "eyes", as its tentacles slithered all around the room.

Absent-mindedly, Alex's fingers fidgeted with a cigarette in his pocket - a nervous habit. Suddenly though, fear and shock was replaced with curiosity, as he stared back at the beast. He watched it carefully, as he noticed that Ami had already let go and began to run for the window, right until another burst of light slammed into the monster and tossed him into the side.

This burst of light, at least, was human, causing Alex to slightly relax, giving him no time to breathe before the man quickly explained himself and transported him to a Japanese-style dojo. He looked around at the paintings all around the room - Japanese, definitely, old, definitely, but there was something very strange and peculiar about them. They were beautiful, yes, but it did not look like they had been crafted in the traditional manner.

Alex decided for once, to speak up, and turned to 'Jiro'. "Why are we here?"

Erin Taormina

Erin continued shifting from foot to foot as she waited for anyone to speak. Suddenly, a bright flash of light permeated throughout the room, and she felt herself jerk and press against a body, Raziel's no doubt. He quickly stepped in front of her as the principal suddenly convulsed and literally expelled some sort of creature from within his body. Erin couldn't help but let a small scream of surprise escape her lips as tentacles began to protrude from the monster and spread throughout the room, effectively barring any sort of escape. She made to step back, but Raziel's arm tightened around her, keeping her in place. She turned to look at him in awe. She had only met him less than an hour ago, and he was already willing to lay down his life to protect her.

Carefully, Erin extracted herself from Raziel's grip and stood on her own, just behind his right shoulder. If she was going to face death, she wanted it to see her face, not cowering behind a boy. However, just as she did so, another blur of white burst through the door and knocked the imposing creature away before it could do any harm. Her head whipped around so quickly that she got whiplash. She caught the glimpse of an Asian man before the room again erupted in light. It was so bright that she shut her eyes tightly. When she opened them again, they were somewhere that was obviously not the principal's office.

The room was decorated with an Asian touch, with Japanese paintings and scrolls adorning the walls. Erin discerned a mat in the next room. Looking around, all five of them had been transported away from the school. The man stood back, all the time showing them his hands to convince them of his good will. Erin remained silent as the others bombarded him with questions. Erin couldn't blame them. She wanted some answers for herself. The entire day so far had been way too much for her to process. Suddenly feeling a bit light-headed, she closed her eyes and massaged her temples. All she wanted to do was go home. However, she stood her ground and carefully watched Jiro in an attempt to understand his motives.

Haru Chang

He smirked at his female friend, as the tension became tighter. Haru's stomach started to feel faint, he either had a bad feeling about something, or that Banana was bad. But it could've gone either way; he held his stomach tightly as a White light filled the room. Haru shot up to his feet as the sight of a giant creature wrapping the room up in tentacles. His fist tightened as he shot back into a fighting stance, Haru was ready to fight back being he was trained pretty well. When all of a sudden another light filled the room. "What now!?" The creature was quickly sent flying backwards, as the second light formed a tall muscular Asian man. Haru's eyebrow rose as the man rolled a scroll across the desk, much like the one's his Grandfather had stored away. Haru stepped forward in confusion as the image of the room quickly changed its appearance. He was now in the middle of a dojo that looked extremely similar to his. Just with different decorations filling it.

Haru made a complete 360 turn before finally facing the now sitting man. He could not help but notice the paintings on the wall, especially the Monkey drawing. Haru took a deep breath at man before he was ready to speak. As the young man opened his mouth to speak the four others beat him to the punch. He looked at Alex and than Ami; she was the most calm of the group besides himself. "Jiro Nakano? Like the ancient legend that created the legendary fighting style known as the Monkey?" He said curiously, Haru had heard stories of the man from his grandfather when he was just a boy. But he always thought they were fairy tales that his Grandfather made up to put a smile on his face. "I've heard of you"

Haru crossed his arms waiting for the man to reply to the group, his stomach continued to feel weak but not as much as before. He stood up straight in between Ami and the man in green, whose names slipped the joker's mind. But none of that really mattered at the moment.
