Casting Call Template/Guidelines
Hey Guys, this thread is to help people who have trouble starting a CC, this thread will help you to create a Role Playing Game that members will be interested in playing and also this would be out standards for a Casting Call.
1) Title:
The title of your game can be done in two ways, in text or as a picture. If you are using text, remember to make it bold, big and/or colourful. Remember to make sure that the title of your game sticks out nice and clearly
E.g.
Power Rangers:
Fate of Destiny
2) Storyline:
Give a summary of what your RPG game is about? Where is it set? Will the past Power Rangers and/or Villians return? Do you want your story to be totally orginial?
Here is a short example:
This is the beginning of how A – Squad joined Gruumm.
It is there journey on choosing the Dark Path for victory.
Our story starts with A-Squad at SPD HQ. They are just relaxing now.
We start of with the rangers being called out to battle some strange aliens that keep attacking, we know them as Krybots.
Not knowing what they are where they come from they are sent to catcher one, but fail at doing so.
So there mission is to capture the person controlling them.
3) Roles:
The most important criteria of your Role Playing Game. How many character roles will be available for members to apply for? State if you want selected roles to be either a boy or a girl. If you are playing a Power Rangers type RPG, state what colours the Ranger characters they will be using. Then state what weapons, gear and Zords your characters will be using. Then give a introduction to the villains and their crew and information if you want about them. Then if you have allies, add them in your game as well.
4) Bio template:
The setup below is what most creators use to help the members who want to apply for a specific role in their game. An example below shows what a bio setup should look like?
Name:
Ranger Destination:
Age: 19 - 25 or any ages you would prefere.
Appearance: Picture
Attire: Description of your character without using pictures
Genetic Ability: if you want to use them.
Weapons and Zords:
Personality:
History:
Morphing Sequence:
(Name) brings fourth his/her morpher and shouts out ‘SPD A-Squad’ as he/she does he/she press the release button on their morpher and then out of the morpher comes a bright flowing (colour) which sparkers over him/her and then fully covers after that a flash of (colour) comes out and they become the (Blue/Red etc A-Squad ranger) and then finish with a pose.
5) Rules, Notes or Guidelines:
The most important part of your game. The rules/guidelines. It is highly recommended that you provide these set of rules at the end of your first post as it indicates what is expected of the members who wish to apply for your game. You can put down some notes regarding any key issues of your plot if you feel like you need to provide them (example: the Sixth Ranger will appear later on in the game). If you are still stuck on what your rules/guidelines should look like then see below.
This is not first come first serve, I will chose the bio I like.
No god modding I like seeing rangers get hurt and having to get help.
Your bio doesn't have to be major long, just as long as you have a past and like what you have wrote that’s fine.
Make sure you can post every 3 days, if you don't think you can keep up don't post a bio or let me know so I can get someone else to take over.
If you want your character to have a relationship with another character PM that person about it, if they want to do it PM me so I know.
No one liners.
