RJ's "connection"?

Remember how RJ "knew a guy who knew a guy who had an uncle who had a connection" who helped him tap the Morphing Grid and create the Jungle Fury powers?

I know we'll never find out for sure who this was, but does anyone have any theories? Does everyone just figure it was Andrew Hartford?

i think its just andrew hartford because Disney seems to refer back to the previous season during one point in time while it wasnt directly said its safe to assume that it is andrew.

It could be Andrew, but it could also be Hailey or even Billy. I would also say Cam, but somehow, I don't believe that. :D

In my opinion, Cam sounds like the most logical assumption. But of course, it could be any of the above people (Andrew, Billy, Hailey). And then...we could all be wrong and it could be some random source, that happens to know about the Grid.

About half way through JF i started thinking about it.
I think the uncle is Adam and one of the guys is from adams dojo and the other is adams nephew,also from the dojo, who were in ocean bluff for a tournament.They went to JKP and met RJ who eventually introduced him to Adam.Then a strange conversation occures,from RJ...well because its RJ,Adam introduces RJ to Alpha 6(the morphing grid connection) and Adam and Alpha give him a crash coruse in ranger tech.RJ then is able to make morphers etc...
Hartford could still be connected im just not sure how.
Cam is a good option too.Just still not sure how they would meet.

It's either Andrew or Cam. Cam is actually pretty logical the way I see it - both secret academies training in some form of martial arts (or ninja training). Cam has all that technology at his disposal (it can be assumed he rebuilt the ninja ops or something since it's a huge possibility). He could've spotted the Pai Zhuq academy somehow and then contacted RJ, or maybe that uncle-friend-whatever contacted Cam instead...

Would be humbling if Cam were the intel. But it could very well be anyone with the tech expertise. Still was a fun easter egg

The key part of this statement I think is that it implies it's the uncle that has the connection to the grid. So that narrows things down.

Suspects in my oppinion:

Andros - Karone could've had a kid in the time we haven't seen her.

Tommy - Tommy has a brother. That brother could have kids.

Cam's Father

Someone that works with the Silver Gaurdians

Leo

Mike

List of non-suspects that have been brought up in this thread... I think:

Adam - I'm not sure but, I don't think he mentioned any siblings. Though I could be wrong, I don't watch much Adam centric episodes.

Cam - Same as above.

Andrew - Same as above.

Billy - Same as above aside from the episode thing.

If however, you are to take the word connection and, think of it as another way to say "that uncle knew someone else that could connect to the grid." It literally could mean anyone in the Power Ranger Universe before hand that has a connection to the grid. So in that instance it's more broad.

Suspects become:

Hailey
Cam
Cam's Father
Billy
Someone that works with the Silver Gaurdians
Princess Shayla
Any of the Mystic Force rangers
Adam
Kat Manx (Since there was time travel episodes It's plausible for it to mean Kat.)

Suffice it to say the list becomes huge.

Either way I have no hard oppinion on who it may have been or, even if the word connection means the uncle had the connection to the grid or, that the uncle just knew someone else that has a connection to the grid. So, I really don't have much of an idea either way. Hell, I might even be wrong about who could/couldn't be an Uncle... Just adding my oppinion to this thread.

In power rangers operation overdrive andrew mentioned fireheart the dragon from the previous season mystic force. so if jungle fury used the same format then it should be andrew (from the previous season). probably rpm will do the same thing.

Personally, I wish disney had never even bothered to mention RJ's connection. It makes me mad that the writers would put that in there and then do nothing with it.

It could be Kat.Just not because of time travel.SPD in 2025 doesn't have acces to any time travel.Kat had been on earth prior to DT.This is because see was working with one of each of the SPD rangers parents.Doggy told us this and how said parents had been exposed to energy thus giving the rangers their special abilities.And Bridge stated that he was born during the episode when SPD went through the wormhole that he had been born on that day.Kats been on earth for a long time,remember shes 130 some years old during SPD.

It was cool,just the complete and utter vagueness of it was annoying.Though when you think about it its better to leave it vague.
Lets look at Hartford from OO.He tells us he has a real dragon scale he got from a record storre owner.So we got specific clues to tell us its Fireheart.
Problem is....Why would an billionaire belive a record store owner has a real dragons scale over say...a museum...or a scientific institute?

He may have ties to the Pai Zhuq and may have been friends with RJ.

Or the writers decided to sidestep the issue, since if they DID give a reason, we'd all be on here explaining how it doesn't actually fit into the canon of the show..
