The Story so Far
The Dark Digimon have learned much from studying the many earth's that cross with the Digital World. They have watched Digidestined rise and seemingly invisible evil fall. It was time to learn their lesson. Using their dark powers the Dark Masters created their own Digivices and while invariably the Forces of Good would send their own Agents to counter them this time things would be different. This time the Darkness would have it's own Digidestined. And as these forces of Good And Evil clashed a 3rd force would enter the digital world, The Tamer. Equipped with a Digivice of their own and able to enhance Digimon through the use of "Card Slashing" they could tip the balance of power one way or the other.

Now...

Tamer and Digidestinined awoke on the grass of a strange world, the sky a patchwork of blue and circuts while a electric buzz hung in the air.

But in a far more dark and gloomly local our Dark Digidestined awoke by a black ocean.

Ryan Toscaño and Leormon

"Hello...Anyone there?" Leormon repated fo the 4th time. he finally licked Ryans face to try to wake the human up. "Hey there sexy...." Ryan said a she puckerd his lips. Leormon licks his face again as Ryan awoke. "Bloody hell!?" The 9 year old said with fear as he rolled away into a tree. The cat like digimon approached him, Ryan wastoo scared to move. "Hey there. Im Leormon." he said as Ryan smiled and waved "Im...Im...Ryan. What are you and where am I?" Ryan asked. Leormon smiled and said "You're funny. Your in the Digital World, home of us Digimon." Ryan was in shock knowing he played digimon he couldn't believe it. Once leeromon climbed onto Ryans lap it smiled and rubbed its head against Ryan. Ryan realized there wasnt much to be scared of so he pet the digimon. He looked around and saw much older kids, seemed like he was the youngest here. "By the way my name is Ryan Toscaño." Leormon smiled and said "Nice to meet you Ryan. Were going to be the best of buds." Ryan smiled in joy, yet he was still confused on wether this was a dream or not.

Jeff Simmons and Elecmon

Jeff was sleeping in a make shift tent he and Elecmon made and elecmon nudged Jeff and said"Jeff its morning time to wake up"as Jeff didnt want to wake up and Elecmon said"Maybe a quick zap wil make you get up"as he shocked Jeff and Jeff said"Dude you didnt have to do that"as he and Elecmon took down the tent and began walking on a path.

As Jeff and Elecmon continued up the path Elecmon said"Its a great day here its better than it was a few days ago"as Jeff smiled warmly and said"Atleast theres some sun out"Elecmon looked up at the sun and said"Yeah it feels great on my fur"as Elecmon was enjoying the warm weather and Jeff said"where are we heading to anyway"Elecmon looked at him funny and said"I dont know where ever the path takes us"Jeff laughed and said"Thats just what I was thinking".

Jeff and Elecmon have been walking up the path for awhile and Elecmon said"Man this path is so boringJeff said"Agreed i have had root canals more fun"Elecmon said'What are root canals some sort of tree right"Jeff looke dat him and said"Ill tell you some other time"as Elecmon seemed confused still and Jeff say a young boy laying by a tree and walked over to him and said"Hey kid are you lost Im Jeff by the way"as Elecmon looked at a digimon by the boy and said"The names Elecmon how do you do".

Seraphina and Impmon

"Hey! Hey, human! Get up!" A hand nudged her head as a very grouchy voice woke her from her peaceful sleep. Seraphina let out a mumble and turned away, trying to cover her head. She made some remark about not wanting to go to another trial, and then something about the negative press coverage. When she didn't open her green eyes, a tiny fist punched her arm lightly, and she groaned. But her eyes fluttered opened.

Serri yelped as the first thing that filled her vision was the face of a little Imp. She jumped away, but fell right onto her butt. "Wh-What!" She squeaked. the Imp cackled madly.

"You're awake! Took you forever! Before you babble like most humans do, lemme git this into yer head, kay?" The Imp began to speak in what was almost a Brooklyn accent. "Da name's Impmon. You'll call me by dat, got it? I know yer Seraphina. Yer my partner. Yer gunna take care-a me. An', well...nice face stripes."

"...Face stripes?" Seraphina pulled a pocket mirror out of her, well, pocket, and gazed into it. Her eyes widened upon seeing three stripes going from her cheek, two on the left and one on the right, towards her nose. She gazed up at Impmon. "What...?"

"Welcome t' da Digital World, Serri! Hope ya have a good stay." The purple Digimon just cackled, grinning at her shocked eyes.

Mark Calvert and Sunmon


"Mark.....yoo hoo.....Mark....." Hearing a voice call his name, Mark opened his eyes. "Yeah, I'm okay." He mumbled. His vision cleared and that's when he noticed something sitting on his chest. A big pair of eyes were staring him in the face. They blinked twice and for a second Mark was frozen. Then he screamed. His arms scrambled against the ground as he tried his best to crawl backwards away from the creature. "That's the last time I eat Thai food!" An spiky, orange-colored ball with fire coming out of it's head hopped toward him. "Hey, you don't need to be afraid of me. I'm your friend, I'm your friend!" The creature said as it began to bounce up and down. Mark managed to get to his feet and gawked at the bouncing fireball. "Uhh....just what are you? Have you had your rabies shots?" The creature continued to bounce and traveled around Mark as he followed it with his eyes. "Everything's gonna be alright now Mark. I've been waiting for you!" And with that, the creautre leapt into Mark's arms. He held it reluctantly, confused by what was going on. A bewildered expression was plastered to his face. "Waiting for me?"

The small creature grinned. "My name's Sunmon. And we're...partners!" Mark tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "Sunmon? That means, talking fireball?" The creature shook its head, still grinning up at Mark. "It means little sun warrior, and don't forget it Mark." He held the creature, now dubbed Sunmon and decided to inquire about what he'd said. "So what did you mean you've been waiting for me? And how did you know my name?" But before Sunmon could answer, it struck him that he was in a forest of some sort. He sat Sunmon down on the ground. "Better yet, where are we? What is this place? The plants seems common but....." That's when Sunmon jumped in. "Nothing's common in Digi-World." Mark glanced down at Sunmon and raised his eyebrow for a second time. "The what?" Sunmon grinned and began bouncing again. "That's right Mark, you're in the Digi-World!" Mark thought hard about Sunmon's reply. He looked around at the surrounding area. "And just where is the Digi-World?" Sunmon bounced towards Mark and beamed up at him. "Why don't you just take a look around for yourself?" Mark nodded and began walking towards what looked to be a clearing of some sort. Just then, he heard voices. And at least one of them sounded human. Excited that he wasn't alone, Mark dashed in the direction the sound was coming from. "Hey, hello! Is anyone there?"

Jeff Simmons and Elecmon

Jeff was looking at the little boy who was still in shock after coming to the Digi World and Jeff was trying to be friendly and said"Well Kid im here to help you out and so is Elecmon"as Elecmon was'nt paying attention and Jeff said"Right Elecmon"as he nudged Elecmon and he said"Yeah Whatever Jeff".

Elecmon's ears stood up more than usual and he said"Jeff i sense more humans not just you and this boy"as Jeff looked around and said"I dont see anyone"but Jeff listened and heard a voice and said"Yeah were humans"as Jeff kept his voice louder than usual.

Elecmon then use a weak electric charge into the sky and yelled"All you humans come here it's a safe place"as Jeff smiled and said"Good thinking Elecmon you can get other humans attetion but you may get a digimon or two to show up here"as Elecmon said quickly"Im not scared of any digimon I can hold my own"Jeff looked confident and said"Yep we are the toughest Sobs out here".

Ryan Toscaño and Leormon

"My parents told me not to strangers." Ryan said as he scoooted away. "Leave him alone! Your scaring him!" Leormon said as he jumped in front of Ryan. "Leave him be! or else Ill make you." Leormon said as he got int a defensive stance. "Guys don't fight, we can resolve this without fighting." The young boy said trying to avoid conflict.

*in the distance another voice rang out, The digital world sure seemed popular today what with humans falling from the sky, all to land in walking distence from each other. This particualar boy was a bit chubby, about 15, with brown hair and a thick green jacket, and he was being chased by a Betamon.*

"Nick get back here, the Digital world is Dangerous!"

"Right, this from the talk frog wit ha mohawk! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!"

Nikolai blecker probably should have been watching where he was runnin in his blind panic, but forsight is 20/20 needless to say when he tumbled head over shoders over Elecmon he did not land gracefully.

Betamon stopped as he looked to the other humans and Digimon and his cheeks flushed, "Hi"

meanwhile at the dark ocean....


Seraphina put your hand in the water a voice whspered into her head you have work to do, And Impmon and myself are not pacient people.

Jeff Simmons and Elecmon

Elecmon said"What the hell"as a human tripped over him and Jeff helped Nick up and said"You ok man"as Elecmon then looked at leormon with rage and said"Hey you dont who your messing with me and Jeff are cool dudes".

Jeff smiled and said"Elecmon you just have to calm down the kid is just scared he just came to the digi world"as Elecmon took in a deep breath and said"Yeah Jeff your right the digi world can be nerve racking at times"as Jeff nodded and said"So kid dont worry me and Elecmon will protect"as Elecmon looked confident and said"Yeah Jeff can be your Big Bro while in the digi world".

Jeff saw that there were a good amount of fellow humans around he said"You know what we could form a group of some sorts Until every one else gets use to the digi world"as Elecmon sat down and said"Yeah as they say strength in numbers"

Rose Ford and Floramon

Rose woke up and said"Where am I"as she smelled something nice and said"Where ever we are it smells great"as a voice said"Ah thanks"as a flower began to move and said"Hi im Floramon and you"Rose was shocked and said"Since when can plants talk"Floramon seemed confused and said"Im a digimon not a plant"and Rose smiled and said"Whatever you are you pretty nice".

Floramon said"Yeah you are to"and Floramon seemed to remember something and said"I saw more things that look like you"Rose seemed excited and said"Wait more humans where"as her voice was way more happier and Floramon pointed out of the bushes and said"They are all over there"as Rose looked over the bushes and said"Wow i must be eiether deaf or dumb or maybe both".

Rose and Floramon walked out of the bushes and Rose said"Hello im Rose and i guess this is my friend Floramon i just came her from the Flordia"Floramon said"Im from right around this area"as Rose heard what a older kid said about forming one group and she said"It could work and we can all become friends while we are it"Floramon smiled and said"and it would be alot of fun".

Mark Calvert and Sunmon/Coronamon


As he neared the other voices, Mark suddenly heard a boy yelling for help. A little further along he found himself in a clearing. It was there he spotted three other humans, all boys. "Thank god I'm not alone!" Mark chuckled as he ran towards the small group. There was one little boy who looked to be around 9 or so, and the other two appeared to be close to Mark's age. And like Mark, they were all accompanied by digimon. At least these looked somewhat normal. The digimon with the small boy resembled something of a young lion. Then there was a red and purple dog-type one and a green amphibian-type one with a reddish mohawk. Mark stepped up and decided to introduce himself. "My name's Mark, nice to meet you guys. I'm glad I'm not the only human in this place. And the little fireball next to me is Sunmon." With that, Sunmon hopped forward and bowed. "Greetings everyone."

At first glance, Mark could tell some general things about the others with him. The little kid was obviously scared, being in a place like this would've definitely freaked him out worse if he were younger. Right then and there Mark knew no matter what he had to do his best to protect the boy. A small voice in his head told him it was a bit cliche', but he didn't care. The guy who had just gotten off the ground wearing a green jacket was almost certainly a klutz. And the third boy was definitely a hothead, and possibly arrogant. But only time would determine that. Just then, Sunmon nudged him in the leg. Mark glanced down at his new firey friend. "What is it Sunmon?" The digimon then made a weird face and grumbled slightly. "I'm hungry, do you have any food?" Mark thought for a minute, then reached into his pocket, pulling out half a candy bar he'd had from before he woke up in the Digi-World. But along with the candy bar, a small teal-colored device falls out. Mark bends down to pick it up and examines it. "What in the world is this? I didn't have it before, I guess I got it when I came here."

He continued to gaze at the device while Sunmon jumped up and yanked the candy bar out of his other hand. It fell to the ground and Sunmon dove on top of it and devoured it in seconds. Mark heard the munching noises and looked down, bewildered at his partner. "Man, you can really pack it away huh?" Suddenly, the device in Mark's hand began to glow. Then Sunmon gasped. "This is strange, I feel weird." Then, almost in sync with the small device Sunmon also began to glow. The light became so bright that Mark had to actually shield his eyes. "What's happening?!"

"SUNMON, DIGIVOLVE TO..........CORONAMON!!!"

Just as quickly as it had appeared, the bright light faded. And when Mark opened his eyes, there was a much larger digimon now standing in Sunmon's place. "Huh? What's going on, where's Sunmon?" It resembled an orange tiger cub, minus the stripes and it wore a headband that produced a flame in the front. It also sported wristbands and now had a tail ending with another flame. "I was Sunmon. I digivolved to Coronamon." Mark didn't understand any of this, the whole situation just kept getting weirder. "You did what? Digivolved? What the heck is that?" Coronamon took his hand and scratched under his chin as he struggled to think of an explanation. "Well, it's um..........uh, you see....." Clearly Coronamon didn't quite understand it himself.

"A brother? I never had a brother." Ryan said as stood up. "I always wish I could have a older brother to look up to as a role model." Ryan told with joy as he ran up to the Jeff a kid who he doesn't even know much about. "Brother?" Leormon said as he sat next to Elecmon. "Man humans are weird?" He told Leormon with a confused face as too why they were hugging then again he didn't know much about Humans. He was a kid just like Ryan was.

Seraphina and Impmon

As soon as the voice spoke in her head, Seraphina jumped, letting out a small yelp. She looked over at Impmon, who was cackling his tiny head off. He just gave her a shrug and pointed to the water, "You heard da big, scary voice. Putcher hand in da watah so we could get to work." He stepped back so she had a clear shot at the water. The human stood, and walked over to the ocean. With a backwards glance at Impmon, she kneeled. Impmon nudged her, "It ain't gunna bite."

"Yeah, like I believe you. You're a talking...two foot...purple thing."

"Imp!"

"Whatever." But still, Serri dipped her hand into the water, and waited.

Kimi Ishikawa and Kunemon

"Unh..."

Kimi rubbed her aching head as she opened her eyes. She immediately closed them, having not been expecting the bright noonday sun to be beating directly onto her face. A beat later, she wondered why the sun should have been beating onto her face at all. Last she remembered, Kimi had been in her room, laying down for a quick nap before coding this new research algorithm for her mother's entomology project. And now she was laying on a grassy knoll in the middle of nowhere, leisurely waking up under the warm sun.

Not entirely unpleasant, but vexing nonetheless.

In the background, Kimi heard a noise all too familiar to her - the buzzing of ozone in computer circuitry, and the air seemed to smell of it as well. Kimi opened her eyes again, this time making sure to look away from the bright sun. The sky... it was a patchwork of... well, circuitry diagrams. Combined with the background noise and odor, Kimi felt as if she were inside a giant computer system.

"Where am I...?" she murmered to herself.

"You're in the Digital World!"

"Digital? Well that explains the ozone and the circuitry, but... Wait. Who said that?" Kimi sat up and looked around. She didn't see any other people present, although there was a large caterpillarish-looking bug staring at her curiously.

"I said that!"

Before it had only been a hypothesis, but now Kimi knew she was going bonkers. It had seemed like the voice was coming from the bug. She looked around a bit more, pointedly averting her gaze from the bug as she stood up. "Who said that?"

"Are you blind?" The bug shot a spray of silk from its mouth onto Kimi's shoulder and climbed it, perching on her shoulder as she watched too petrified to move. "Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? See what I did there? I'm like a cell phone commercial."

Kimi's fear was replaced with a clinical examination of the creature. If it had meant her harm, she'd probably already be poisoned, so there was no point in screaming. Besides, she was fairly sure she could take it in a fight. Only one question remained. "You... you can talk?"

"I'm talking, aren't I? Clearly, I can talk. You're not very smart, are you?"

Kimi bristled. She could take a lot, but having her brains questioned? Not so much. "I've never met a talking bug before. Do you have a name?"

"Name's Kunemon!"

"Kune... mon...?" It sounded familiar, so Kimi searched her memory. "Mon... mon... Omni...mon. You're a digimon!"

"Wouldn't it have been faster if I just told you that?"

"Maybe. But you questioned my brainpower." Kimi felt much better now. Digital world, names suffixed in -mon... This, Kimi recognized from her part in helping the original Digidestined defeat Diaboromon on the internet so long ago. "I'm Kimiko Ishikawa, but my friends call me Kimi."

"Nice to meet you, Kimiko!" At Kimi's glance, Kunemon did what passed for a shrug on a creature with no shoulders. "I don't know you well enough to be your friend yet. You might be an evil digimon trying to trick me."

Kimi conceded the point. "Fair enough. Are there any other humans around that you know of?"

"Humans? Nope. But there were some flashes of light thataway," Kunemon responded, using another thread of sticky silk to point in a direction to Kimi's left. "When I followed the last flash of light I saw, I found you."

"Experimental hypothesis! Flashes of light mean humans transported from our world to here! Excellent!" Kimi loved science. She began walking in the indicated direction, before Kunemon stopped her. "What? Why are we stopping?"

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

"...no?"

Kunemon let out an audible sigh before hopping off Kimi's shoulder and walking (slithering?) back to where she'd awoken. He picked up something off the ground with his silk and tossed it up to her hands, before returning to her shoulder. "You dropped that when you stood up."

Kimi turned the octagonal device around in her hands. "I've... never seen this before. What is it?"

Kunemon shrugged again. "Got me. Looks important, though."

She couldn't quantify the feeling if asked, but the device did feel important. Kimi shrugged and put the device into her pocket, before returning to her walk to see if she wasn't the only human currently in the Digital World.

Nikolai still wasn't finding this whole experience present, it was just getting more confusing as he scrambled to his feet and looked down at what he riped over, Elecmon.

"This is crazy" he thought "Bu hey I'm alive, thats good enough for me." cheeks flushing he knelt down by Elecmon "Um...did i hurt you...er....sorry....this is alll...too much..."

As Jeff sugested the form a group Nick shrugged "Sounds like as good a idea as anything."

And then when the giant red insect charged out of the forest toward them....

(I'm sure someone can guess which digimon i mean...)

Sediment seem to shift and swirl around slowly setting into the girls hand as it become something solid, weighty

Seraphina was shocked when something weighty formed in her hand. Instantly, she pulled it out, suprised by the digivice that appeared. She looked it over as the voice continued to speak, but then she paused, "Dark Gears? Dark Towers? What are you talking about? Hello, disembodied voice! I need help!" She called out, but then was silenced when Impmon smacked her on the head, "Hey!"

"Da boss said we gots work t' do, so les' go do it! Follah me!" The purple Digmon began to saunter away from the ocean, leaving Seraphina blinking by the water. She waited a moment before realizing he wasn't going to wait for her, and instantly leapt to her feet. She was by his side within ten seconds, "Dere ya are. Listen 'ere, chick. Ah don' wait for anyone. You gotta c'me to me. Undahstand?"

"Uh...sorta."

"Don' worry, ah'll help ya out." Impmon gave her a small grin, but then clambered up so he was sitting on her shoulder. He waited for Seraphina to complain, but she didn't. He gazed up at her, and saw she was looking at the Digivice again. "Hey, don't push any buttons until ah tell ya t', kay?"

"O-okay...but, um...what are Dark Towers?"

Impmon rolled his eyes, and wrapped his arm around her head, using it to hold himself still as Seraphina continued to walk. "Lemme explain everthin' t' ya. 'S 'lot easier dan havin' you question mah every move. Ya see..."

Impmon's explanation was of course heavily Biased, but from the other side of the cone any benefactor who spoke with the Digidestined would be the same. He bagan wit ha quick explication of the Digital world, a chaotic savage land ruled by nothing but ego filed god like Soverigns. These soverigns worked in shadows preferring to pull children from another world into this one to enforce their will.

Well if a bunch of human children were going to invade the Digital World on the Sovereigns behalf someone had to stop them. Someone had to bring order to the Digital world. That's where she came in. They would build a empire and tear the Sovereigns out of heaven and sent those children home crying. But they would need a edge and for helping Impmon and his master Serapnina would be rewarded.

Kimi Ishikawa

Kimi spent the walk fiddling with the small device Kunemon had found. It seemed fairly straightforward - LCD screen, a few small buttons and dials, but it seemed to have no useful function Kimi could figure out. Kunemon led the way, telling Kimi whenever she veered too far to the side. He didn't seem to mind her preoccupation with the device, aside from a few snarky comments.

In a short while, Kimi approached a small band of humans in the direction Kunemon was leading her. She raised her hand in a wave and began to shout a greeting when a large red insect burst from the forest.

Despite herself, Kimi screamed, falling backward as the red insect advanced toward the humans. Kunemon was weird enough, but a giant...

"Kuwagamon!" Kunemon leaped from Kimi's shoulder to the ground before her, spraying a stream of silk into the air. In a few moments, the two were covered by a white shell of silk.

"Kuwagamon? What's a Kuwagamon and why's he here?" Kimi asked as Kunemon sprayed the protective cocoon.

"Kuwagamon's... my father!"

Kimi gasped. "Really?"

"Nah. Would have been cool, though, huh? Really give a sense of wonder at the coincidences that make up everyday life." Kunemon looked back at Kimi and opened his jaw slightly, in what Kimi interpreted from his tone of voice was a grin. "Kuwagamon's a Champion-level insect digimon. Some of them like to stir up trouble when humans show up, or anyone they don't recognize, really."

"Only some?"

Kunemon "grinned" again. "Some of them... like to help out."

Kimi nodded thoughtfully. "So, uh, how long are we staying in the cocoon?"

Kunemon snorted. "Until Kuwagamon decides to not eat us and he goes away."

"Oh. Fair enough."

Jeff saw Kuwagamon and said"Time to stomp this bug right Elecmon"as Elecmon was getting into a battle postion and said"Yep no Bug is going to stop us"as Jeff looked at the group you seemed scared to see such a big digimon Jeff said"Nothing to Worry about so who's with me to take this oversized fly down".

Jeff looked at the group another time and said"Elecmon go distract him and bring him away from everyone else and then we take him"as Elecmon said"Ok Thunder Headbutt"as he rammed into Kuwagamon's knee and it angered the Insect digimon and Jeff said"Good job Elecmon keep at it".

Elecmon was narrowly dodgeing attacks and said"Wow your slow Kuwagamon you need to lose some pounds"as Jeff laughed and said"Seriously you cant hit a rookie"then Kuwagamon smacked Elecmon and Jeff said"You ok Elecmon"as Elecmon groaned in pain and said"Yeah it tickled"but Jeff could tell that Elecmon was hurt and said"Someone step up and help us".

Rose Ford and Floramon

Rose aw that the battle was begining and said"Oh no is Elecmon alright Floramon"as Rose was worried and Floramon said"I dont know he toke quite a hit"as Floramon stood infront of her friend Rose and said"Dont worry i think Elecmon is going to win he is a very tough digimon".

Rose and Floramon heard Jeff's plea for help and Rose said"Floramon we gotta do something"Floramin looked nervous and said"Im not much of a battler i rather be peaceful'Rose nodded and said"Me to hopefully someone else will help out im not ready for a fight".

Mark Calvert and Coronamon


Before Coronamon could attempt to explain digivolution to Mark, there was a loud rustling noise coming from the bushes. Suddenly, a large red insect burst forth and headed straight for them. Mark quickly glanced back at the boy, who was clearly scared out of his mind. This isn't to say that Mark wasn't scared as well. "That thing is enormous, how could we possibly beat it?" He thought to himself. Then he watched as the other guy named Jeff attacked the creature with his digimon, Elecmon. They tussled for a bit, Elecmon taunted the larger digimon as Jeff merely laughed.

Just then, the insectoid digimon smacked Elecmon away, this is when Mark decided he had to do something. He'd made a promise to himself that he'd protect the boy, if nothing else. And so he looked to Coronamon and narrowed his eyes. "What do you say Coronamon? You wanna give Jeff and Elecmon a hand?" The orange flaming digimon smiled and nodded. "Sure thing Mark, let's do it!" And the two of them charged towards their opponent, then Mark pointed his finger at the digimon. "Alright Coronamon, attack him now!" Coronamon leapt into the air and shot his fists forward crying out, "Corona Flame!" Searing hot flames shot out of the bands on Coronamon's wrists, making the giant bug back away. "If you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen!"

Seraphina and Impmon

Seraphina nodded as Impmon explained, taking everything in stride. Once or twice she stopped the little Digimon to ask a question, but generally allowed him to speak freely. Once he was done, she glanced down at her Digivice, and her lips pressed together, forming a fine line. "I see. Well, it would appear as if I have no choice. I shall help you. And protect you."

"'N help me Digivolve." Impmon said, ignoring her comment about protecting him. In his mind, he didn't need to be protected. He was just as strong as the others. He would be able to take care of himself. Once he Digivolved, of course. "Bu' firs', we gots ta take care-a da kids dat're here. By buildin' da Dark Towers."

"Alright. Let's get to work, then." Seraphina agreed, and placed a hand on Impmon, so as to keep him from falling off her shoulder. It was the first sign of trust or love between trainer and Digimon.

Ryan Toscaño and Leormon

As he saw a huge insect digimon appear Ryan only being nine years old became frightened and so he ran behind a tree. Leormon wasn't much a fighter so he ran with Ryan as well. he saw Jeff the boy who eh accepted as an older brother fighting the Kuwagamon. "You can take him Jeff! Show him who hes messing with." Ryan cheered but he stayed behind the tree for safety. "Oh I wish I could help but I hate fighting and im afraid just like you." Leormon said as Ryan hugged him closely.

Nikolai Blecker

Nikolai turned to run as Kwagamon charged toward our heroes but skilled to a halt when some stayed to fight.

"I'm going to fight!" Betamon said as he chard to the side of elecmon unleasing his own electric attack.

"Just be careful" Nick commented as he looked toward the other Digidestined. "This doesnt look good guys, some some of the Digimon want to fight maybe we shoudl let them? This is their world they know best. We should stay out of their way. Right?

"TWIN SICKLES!

Nick rolled his eyes as a pair of Snimon came in from over the trees, the arc of their energy attack flying toward the humans.

The grey world of the dark ociean fadded as Impmon and his human pet entered a dark mist, a light beyond drew them toward the enxit where they emerged from the mist to a bright digital valey, a old stone temple in the distance. Leading his partner toward the temple Impmon picked up his pace a figure emerged from the temple.

"Halt who goes there" A large lion like man said as he put his hand on his sword.

Jeff saw Nick and Marks digimon helping Elecmon fight and said"Thanks"as Jeff didnt want to show how happy he was to have some back up as Elecmon said"O great less room for me to kick Kuwagamon's ass"Elecmon wanted to take out the Insect digimon by himself even though it was good to have back up.

Jeff looked at Ryan and said"Dont worry Kid he got nothing on me and Elecmon"as Elecmon dodged another attack and said"Ok now taste this Kuwagamon Lighting Knife"as he sliced the Leg of the large Insect digimon and then zapped him and said"Nice and crispy"as Jeff laughed and heard a comotion and turned around and saw two Snimon attacking the other Tamers and said"Elecmon go help em out now".

Elecmon said"Jeff I cant us three are busy with this guy"Jeff seemed angrey and said"Whatever then finsih him off faster we gotta stop the Snimon"as he looked at the others who were nervous and saw the Snimon prepareing a attack and said"No".

Rose Ford and Floramon

"Floramon you gotta do something"yelled Rose as she felt scared that it all may end now and Floramon was nervous and said"Ah i dont think i can Rose im scared"as Rose said"We all are but if you dont were down for Floramon".

Snimon's attacks were closeing in fast and Rose said"Everyone brace yourself"as Floramon took in a deep breath and stepped in front of everyone else and said"Snimon you made a big mistake Pollen Rain"as Floramon launched a attack that slowed down Snimons and it hit Floramon and she said"Ah"as he fell to the ground and Rose said"Floramon are you ok".

Floramon coughed and said"I think so is everyone else ok"as Rose nodded and said"It looks like it"as Rose looked up and saw the Snimon getting ready to attack again and she said"What are we going to do now"as Floramon said"I dont know Rose but we gotta figure out something quick".

LEomon grolwed and narrowed his eyes at Impmon. "I thought i told you you and your dark mastrs were not welcome here." Looking at the human he scaned her up and down until he caught the digivice in her hand and gasped "A digiddestined! You msut come with me, Impman will only bring you trouble."

Kimi Ishikawa and Kunemon

As the sounds of battle came from outside the cocoon, Kimi fiddled around with the small device some more. It's not like there was much else to do, after all. The LCD screen, despite it's small size, seemed to be extremely advanced, able to show finely rendered three-dimensional graphics without any hint of a processing delay or load time, very uncommon for devices of this small size.

"Hey, Kunemon?"

Kunemon, who'd been pacing nervously inside the coocoon (which wasn't really all that alrge, so it basically amounted to the small insectoid digimon walkiung in a small circle around Kimi's feet) leaped to her shoulder. "What's up, toots?"

"What's 'digivolve' mean?"

Kunemon stared at Kimi for a second, his next words identifying the look as bewildered. "What do you mean, 'what's digivolve' mean'?"

Kimi showed Kunemon the device. Indeed, the LCD screen was displaying the word 'digivolve' prominently, blinking quickly.

Kunemon moved his vertical mouth in the way that Kimi had come to recognize as a grin. "It's a way out of this predicament, that's what it is."

In a gleam of reddish light, the cocoon vanished, allowing Kimi to see the battleground for the first time in several minutes. In addition to the aforementioned Kuwagamon (which three digimon were in the process of battling), two more insectoid digimon had appeared - these ones green with sickles for hands.

"Snimon! This is bad!" Kunemon gasped. He leaped from Kimi's shoulder and began running (well, more 'slithering' than 'running') toward the Snimon, leaving Kuwagamon to the others. "Kimi, you have to make me digivolve! I know what that device is now!"

"How do I do that?" Kimi had chosen not to run toward the giant evil-looking digimon, as self-preservation was a powerful motivator. "It just says the word!"

In the midst of their shouting, one of the Snimon spied Kimi fumbling with the device she held onto. "Twin Sickle!" With a pair of slashes at the air, the Snimon sent two energy blades hurtling straight to Kimi's head. She looked up, and barely had enough time to gasp in shock...

The device began to glow, and the LCD screen displayed an ascending graphic of some sort. A short distance away, Kunemon matched the device's glow.

"Kunemon (http://cf.geocities.com/digi_josied4/images/Kunemon.gif), digivolve to... Kuwagamon (http://cf.geocities.com/digi_josied4/images/Kuwagamon.gif)!"

Just at Kimi would have been sliced into quarters by the crossed energy blades, the newly-digivolved Kuwagamon wrapped his four arms around her, allowing the blades to bounce off his back with a grunt of pain. "Are you okay, Kimi?"

Kimi opened her eyes, not sure when she'd actually closed them. When they opened, she saw... Kuwagamon! "Eek!"

"No, Kimi, it's me! I'm Kunemon, digivolved to my Champion level, Kuwagamon!"

Kimi took a second to observe the being. He wasn't identical to the first Kuwagamon upon closer inspection. The one protecting her had a brighter red glow to him, and wasn't trying to eat her. That second difference was the biggie, in Kimi's book. "So... okay. What's next?"

Kuwagamon grinned. "Next, I knock these Snimon back to the digital Stone Age!" He turned away from Kimi and took a stance between her and the Snimon, before charging them with a fearsome roar. "Scissor Claw!" Kuwagamon headbutted the Snimon who'd attacked Kimi, clamping his powerful mandible around the Snimon's midsection. With a lashing of his legs, he kicked the second Snimon away while he continued to chomp down on the first. Nearby, Kimi watched on in awe, as she realized the the small little Kunemon she'd just met was now matching two giant insect digimon in fighting power. It was amazing!

Kimi yelled a cheer as Kuwagamon released the Snimon from his claw and headbutted it away from the humans present. "Awesome, Kunemon! I mean, Kuwagamon!"

Impmon and Seraphina

"Touchy. Ah'm only tryin' t' get mah 'uman inside." Impmon muttered, but then he snapped to when he heard Leomon ordering Seraphina to leave him. The imp narrowed his eyes, "Oh no ya don'! She's mah human! Don't you mess wit' her!"

"Impmon, please." Seraphina quieted him, "What do you mean trouble? 'Cause as far as I can we, we've gotten into no trouble whatsoever. Well, for the time being anyways..." She walked a few more steps over to him, stopped when she was five feet from him. She felt Impmon tense, "Umm...who are you, anyways?"

Nikolai was about to pass out when he saw a ANOTHER Kwagamon nter the fight but this one seemed to be helping. And everyone else was doing this own thing. He haded being in this position but even with the New Kwagamon's help they still had 3 rogue digimon throwing attacks around and attacking rookies.

"Everyone, we need to regroup and get out of here!" he yelled out "Our partners cant fight these monsters alone!"

As Seraphina got closer her Digivice began to glow, the screen seeming to emit a strange black light. In the back of Seriphina's head a voice told her to use it, to do something. She had Dark gear use them, or force Impmon to evovle and protect her.

Leomon saw the dark glow anf growled drawing his sword.

"What twisted perversion of destiny is this, no digivice emits that energy!"

"We have to help Jeff!" Ryan said standing up and taking a peak at the havok that he was about to enter. "First you wanna hide and now you wanna fight. Will choose one and stick to it." Leormon complained , but Ryan ahd already ran over to Jeff. Leormon ran over to them and said "Im here...and Im ready." Leormon said as he made his way over to Elecmon quickly. "Leo Claw!" Leormon shouted as he leaped onto one of the Snimon and scratched with his claws. "Leormons claws are gonna be messy now.....I ain't cleaning them." Ryan complained to Jeff.

Seraphina took a nervous step back when Leomon pulled out his sword; she did not like the look of that. "Umm...wait, hold on! I didn't mean any harm! I swear, I don't even know what this is..." She began to nervously press buttons on the Digivice. Suddenly, a dark gear appeared out of no where and headed straight to Leomon. The young woman flinched back as it went inside of the lion. "What...what did I just do?"

Impmon just grinned. "Congrats, kid. Ya did good." He cackled, looking at Leomon as the Dark Gear struggled to take its hold over him.
