Chaos Is Born
Rated PG-13
We live in the distant future where the world is divided and united at the same time. After many years of living with the horrors of global warming, the countries and landmasses have combined to reform the supercontinent that the lands of earth came from, Pangaea. Though it seems that things have returned to the way they were when the world began, the inhabitants have survived, and have developed to a point worst than ever. You see, humans were not meant to survive global warning. It was meant to be a punishment for the neglect that we have shown to the place we called home. Instead, humans have stubbornly remained on the planet earth and once again they believe that they deserve the right to live like kings on it, even if it meant disturbing the natural order.
The world is seperated into 2 factions. There is the Upper Society. They are what became of the selfish humans of the past, who have completely distanced themselves from the ruins of the natural world by living in extravagant floating platforms called Sky Cities that constantly roam through the clouds of Pangaea. Even still, they continue to torment those who are not like them by creating scientific reasons for why they believe they are the most powerful people on the face of the earth. They believe that they're advanced technology and genius intellect makes them superior beings to every other creature on earth.
Then there is the Surface Society. These inhabitants consist of humans who carry a Chaos Gene. This gene developed in humans shortly after the reforming of Pangaea and because of it, the Carriers do not concider themselves human, nor do normal humans concider them one of their own. The gene gives them certain characteristics which include a birthmark of a butterfly somewhere on their body, immunity to all known diseases, abnormal healing abilities, and the possession of a unique power. The Chaos Carriers are severely descriminated against by the people of the Upper Society because of their primitive (in their eyes) lifestyle and unknowingly, the Upper Society people kidnap Chaos Carriers and force them into incredibly hard labor as slaves in the Sky Cities, primarily in the largest of the Sky Cities, a flying metropolis called the Sanctum.
Our story takes place in the Gatta Badlands of the Surface Society, which is the desert territory. Within this area are two main biker gangs, The Sigma Mercenaries and the Storm Devils. These gangs are incredibly competitive rivals and will stop at nothing to humiliate and/or kill the other. The Sigma Mercenaries are the main protagonists and it is they who are about to delve into an entirely new experience when they discover that they're own people are being forced into slavery by the normal humans and must mine a deadly mineral called Marx which provides the Sky Cities with the power to stay in the air. They begin to learn that some humans are out to get them, some want to help them, and some are just out there to end it all. Soon they realize that if the humans' horrible schemes arent put to an end, it could mean the end the sentient race for good.

Chapter 1: Ride or Die
--------------------------------------------
Shane Sky "Battery"
The sand of the desert was churning uncontrollably. It was nearly impossible for Shane to see anything. With the help of his protective goggles, he was able to somewhat find the path that led to the cave village. His jacket fluttered through the air as he dodged passed rocks and all. Eventually, he made it to the cave that held his favorite place in the world, the cave village. Though he loved the powerful sand and intense heat of the Gatta Badland deserts, there was nothing like riding into the cozy warm oasis that was the cave village.
He drove the bike into the vast cave, whose ceilings stretched as far as the sky. Eventually, life sprang forward as he began to pass various buildings and people, tending to their children, their stores, and their lives. He took a few turns through the cave village and stopped at Edmond's Merchant Shop, where the friendly middle aged merchant, Edmond Kelly would be there to greet him.
"Wassup, Eddie. How's it going," Shane yelled as he walked pass his shop towards a building beside the shop that was barred with a cage and chains.
"I'm living, I'm living," Edmond replied continuing what he was doing. "How's the Sigmas?"
"Not to good, Eddie. We're having more trouble than ever with the Devils. I'm actually about to hold a meeting about it right now. I'll keep you posted."
"Sure thing, Battery. Let me know if you need any help."
"Always will." While talking to Edmond, Shane had taken out a loop with several keys attached and was unlocking the various locks to take the chains off of the door. He took the chains and threw them aside for a second. He went and took off the final lock that kept the cage down and through that aside as well. He then lifted up the cage and opened the door with the final key on the loop. He grabbed the chains and locks, walked in, opened the closet door on the side and dropped them in. He then closed the door and locked it. As the rest of the Sigmas would make their way to the HQ, he would ask them for the password Asking, "whose your favorite Dazzleball Team?". Dazzleball was a sport that didnt exist so the team that they would say would not exist either, but it would tell Shane who was there and he would let them in according to what was said. Each Sigma would state a different team and based on that, Shane would be able to tell who it is.
Shane went through the long corridor until he went to the door at the end of it. He kicked it in; it wouldnt open with anything other than one kick. As he did, he walked into a dark room covered by a sillouette of silk material for decorations. It wasnt much but it was the only thing they had. Shane took out a lighter and lit it, being careful not to set the silk material on fire. He went to the four corners of the room and set the candles. There was no light in this part of the building other than the candles and thats what they had to settle for. He then went over to the long table in the middle of the room, jumped on top and lit the top candle hanging from the ceiling. As he did this, a huge flare lit up and brightened the whole room. It was bigger than a first timer would expect. It was plain and gray with a single long table and several chairs around them. The one at the end near the farthest wall was meant for the leader of the Sigma Mercenaries. Shane reluctantly took on that position after the death of his brother, so it was meant for him. He looked around the room. Shelf after Shelf of weapons: Guns, swords, and other projectile weapons, were displayed in this room. They would be put to good use later.
Soon, Shane heard a knock at the door, signifying that some Sigmas had arrived. "Time for business," Shane said to himself as he walked to the door of HQ.

Blaine "Blaze" Edwards
The hot desert air blasted past him as he rode accross the sands. The cave village came into view over the horizon as Blaine gunned his engine, heading toward the meeting point. While most were bothered by the heat of the desert, Blaine savored it. Heat meant life, and that was one of the few things he had left. He pulled into the cave and parked alongside of a nearby shop.
"Well, look who's here. Battery is already inside getting getting set up." said the shopkeeper.
"Nice to see you too Edmond" said Blaine sarcastically.
"Oh, before you go Blaze, I managed to get ahold of that stuff you wanted, just don't ask how"
"I knew I could count on you Eddie"said Blaine as Eddie handed him a small bottle.
"Yea, well next time you can risk your own neck for this stuff. What's it for anyhow?"
"This" replied Blaine, as he pulled a small lighter from his jacket pocket. It was slightly rusted and clearly very old. He slid open a small hole and carefully filled it with the liquid from the bottle. he then closed the bottle and placed it in his inside pocket. He then closed the lighter and struck it, causing a flame to appear at the top.
"Oh, so thats it. Seems to me there are a lot of easier ways to start a fire."
Blaine placed his hand over the flame and it jumped into his palm where it expanded into a ball.
"Easy Blaze, don't burn my shop down" said Edmond slightly afraid.
"Relax, I've been doing this for a long time" said Blaine. He waved his hand and the flame disappeared. He then headed toward the nearby abandoned building. "Thanks Eddie" he called over his shoulder.
He walked toward the building and through the outer door. He approached the inner door and knocked loudly. He heard footsteps on the otherside before a voice asked "What's your favorite Dazzleball team?" "The Flaming Falcons" Blaine replied. The sound of a lock opening echoed in the cave and the door opened. Blaine stepped inside and greeted the leader of the Sigma Gang, Shane Sky.
"How's it going Battery?' Blaine asked.
"Not so good" replied Shane as he and Blaine shook hands "The Devils are acting up again. We're going to need to do something soon"
"Figures" replied Blaine exasperated.
"The others should be here soon, then we can make a descision" added Battery. Blaine went inside and stood near one of the candles as Shane resealed the door and waited for the next Sigma to arrive.

Ryssa Leybenzon, "Seer"
"Whoooooo!"
Ryssa had been cycling for nearly two years now, but jetting across the desert on her one-of-a-kind motorcycle still brought joy to her young mind. It wasn't the fastest, and it wasn't the most agile, but Ryssa still loved every second of it. Even with the sandstorm necessitating Ryssa wear her eyeuards, it was still exhilerating.
In one hand, Ryssa clutched a note that she periodically reread throughout her ride. Normally, this'd be somewhat dangerous, but Ryssa's unique... talent was enough to keep the ride safe. Apparently, the new leader of the Sigmas wanted Ryssa to attend some sort of highbrow meeting to discuss the Storm Devils. Either that, or he wanted to propose to someone else who would be there. Sometimes, the tributaries of time were less than completely precise. Still, odds were the first interpretation of the future was the correct one.
Ryssa's bike roared to a halt outside her destination, a large cave. She looked both ways before continuing her ride in, making sure that she wasn't being followed. Even though she knew she wasn't - no possible future had her being followed into the massive cavern, nor into the cave city, except for the people that were supposed to be there. Old habits died hard.
Ryssa shifted into a lower gear as she navigated her way through the city, avoiding people and carts as she made her way to the meetingchamber. She pulled to a halt beside Edmond's Merchant Shop, parking her ride and locking it into place with the randomized passcode that only someone with her futurescrying ability would be able to unlock. Unless they physically carried it away, no one but her was now able to rev her bike's engine.
And it was a heavy bike.
Ryssa approached the door, beside which lay absolutely nothing, and banged on it as hard as her lithe frame would allow her without snapping her bones in half. Hey, it was a big door.

Orion Ishido and Kirin Nagato
Orion and his wife Kirin had arrived at the door. They had a traveled for awhile and they did not want to be waited on. The desert had hit them hard for many reasons that they didn't want to recall at this time. Orion knocked harder on the door urging Shane to open the door. Kirin seemed to be aggrivated at Orion for stopping so many times to get certain materials but she was finally glad to be here.
"When is Shane going to answer this door?"Orion asked Kirin.
Orion banged on the door once again as hard as he could while noticing some of the other Sigmas had arrived. He paid little attention to them and began hitting the door even harder.
Kirin patted Orion on the back and said, "Don't worry, Orion. He'll open it soon."

Shane Sky "Battery"
Shane went to the door as the next person arrived. "What's your favorite Dazzleball Team?" He asked. A female voice replied, "Screaming Warhawks."
"Its Seer," he unlocked the lock and opened the door for a young girl named Ryssa Lybenson. She greeted him cheerfully and walked into the room.
Ryssa had joined the Sigmas before Shane was the leader and despite being the same age as her, she was an official delegate and Shane wasnt. A delegate was a member of the Sigma that would participate in all of the Sigma meetings and battles. This also gave her the ability to give orders to rookie and low ranked Sigmas like Shane used to be. But now Shane was the leader of the Sigmas and he had the ability to order the other delegates. The truth was though, Shane had a small crush on Ryssa and always loved to be around her, as she always made him feel good about himself.
Blaze was Shane's best friend even when he was a higher rank than him. Blaze had also joined the Mercenaries before Shane's leadership but even though he was a higher official, he always had time to hang out with Shane. He was after all, the leader's brother.
Before shutting the door he saw two of the Sigmas on the other side of the building knocking on a door. It was Orion and Kirin.
"Oh my god," Shane declared in annoyance. "Orion! Thats not HQ. Its beside the merchant shop. Asshole..."
He shut the door and escorted Ryssa down the hallway.

Orion looked over to Shane after he had closed the door and said, "Okay, that was uncalled for, Shane!" Orion was obviously aggrivated as he walked beside the merchant shop with Kirin shaking her head in dissapointment.
"Wow, Orion...You really made a bad first impression." Kirin said as Orion looked at her in anger but she closed her mouth.
The door was very large covered in piles of chains and locks. Orion thought it was a use of metal but he decided to leave that alone since it wasn't his business or concern at the moment.

Tinmin looked at the time. "Geez. Is That The Time? I Probably Should Get Going. I Mean, My Fleshy Compatriots Are Expecting Me, And I Wouldn't Want Them To Be Kept Waiting On My Account." he said in a robotic tone as he finished his drink. He looked around the tavern. A local watering hole called Baum's, and a favored drinking establishment of his robot brain. "Another Round Bar Keep!" he said as he put up his finger in glee. As the Barkeep brought him another drink, the large burly man gave Tinimin an odd look.
'Geez Buddy, You Really Been Poundin' 'Em Back. Drinkin' To Forget?' The man asked.
"Nope. Got The Forgetting Thing Done. This Is Just For Fun." He said, giving a large smile as he grabbed the drink and polished it off in one go. "Well, I Should Probably Be Hittin' The Ole Dusty Trail." He said, patting a local drunkard on the shoulder. "One More For The Road Barkeep! And Put It All On His Tab!" he said as he pointed it the drunkard.
'He Ain't Gotta Tab. You However, Still Do.' The Owner of the bar said as she walked down from the upper levels.
"Ayla! My Favorite Drinking Establishment Owner!" He said putting his arms up in a false happy to see you way. "You Know That I'm Good For It!"
The Bartender gave Tinimin an angry look as he prepped himself to give Tinmin a thrashing. 'Stand Down Martus.' the green haired, vivacious woman said, extending her arm. Tinmin's face morphed into an inquisitive rememberance as he recalled the previous month's occurences. "In My Defense, He Did Try To Cut Me Off." he said with an innocent look on his face. *THUD* Ayla released Tinmin as he landed hard on the hardwood floor.
'Just Don't Come Back Until You Either Can Pay Me Back, Or You've Changed Your Line Of Work? Okay Tin?' She said as he picked himself up.
"Gotcha Baby!" he said as he dusted himself off and turned towards the door. Suddenly he was hit in the back of the head with a completely full bottle with enough force that it sent Tinmin flying through the door. "Whoops" Tinmin said as he picked himself up and started to run.
'I Told You Not To Call Me Baby!' Ayla yelled after him as he ran off.
*LATER*
Tinmin approached the HQ and noticed two fleshies standing by the door. He noticed that it was two of his fellow Sigma Mercenaries. "Salutations Fleshy Ones! How Fare Thee This Night?"

"Oh, Tinimin, right? Good and what about you?" Kirin asked.
Orion slammed hard on the door as Shane answered.
"Shane, are we able to come in?" Orion asked ready to raise a fist and knock Shane out.
"No, not yet," Shane replied and stopped Orion.
"Why not?"
"Remember the password," Shane asked obviously sensing Orion's ignorance.
"Right, right, sorry," Orion said as Shane asked Kirin and him the question and they entered into the hideout. Shane then also asked Tinmin the question and he let Tinmin also enter relesealing the large metal door.

"One more person and we can start this thing," Shane said shutting the door.
He walked through the corridor and to the end of the room. He went over to one of the weapon shelves and picked up what looked like a folded cloth. He unfolded it and revealed that it was a flag. He then put it on the wall and grabbed a stick-gun, which was a device that would temporarily stick something to something else but would easily come apart and go back to normal to be hung up tomorrow. The flag was of the sigma symbol, Σσς, which was designed in light purple with a black background and a silouette person with two machine guns behind it. It was the official flag for the Sigma Mercenaries.
"Alright," Shane said, while putting up the flag. "While we wait for Rand to get here, I'll go ahead and tell you why you're here. The Storm Devils have been around way too long for their own good. The Sigmas have been fighting them for almost 12 years now. We're the 7 delegates of the Sigmas and its our job to make sure we get things situated for the rest of the team. We need to come up with some plot to end this war for good. But yeah, until Rand arrives, we'll just talk about how our day is going so far. So go ahead and have a seat. I want to know what kind of trouble you've guys have gotten into lately."

Ryssa skipped into the main meeting room, maintaining her constant air of bubbliness and, to those who didn't know her very well, naivete. She stayed beside Shane as he escorted her into the meetingchamber, the gray cave with the large table. As Shane went to speak to some of the others present, Ryssa twirled into a cartwheel and jumped into the air, landing with her ass in a chair and her feet on the meeting table. "Thanks for the escort, Battery!" she said, winking.
"Alright," Shane said, while putting up the flag. "While we wait for Rand to get here, I'll go ahead and tell you why you're here. The Storm Devils have been around way too long for their own good. "Ooh ooh, me first!" Ryssa squealed, shooting her hand up into the air as if she were in a schoolroom. She hopped out of her chair and onto the table, facing the other people in the room. "Some Storm Devils were harassing a little fishing village by the Eastern Oasis, so I took care of them." Ryssa held out her thumb and forefingers the way a child playing Cops and Robbers might to simulate a gun, and made *pyoo pyoo!* sounds. "They won't be bothering that village anymore!"
Truthfully, Ryssa had only caused an avalanche, blocking the Devils' route to the village. She hadn't actually killed anyone. But Ryssa felt she was lacking some serious street cred, so the little white lie.

Orion seemed to have calmed down but was now arrogantly aggrivated at this "Ryssa" girl. Kirin told him to keep his mouth shut but Orion, being as arrogant as he was, had to speak his mind and say anything he wanted.

Kirin began to say, "Orion, why can't you hold your tongue for two seconds for anyone to finish?"
Orion continued ignoring Kirin by saying, "I mean without a truthful structure among us, will we be able to trust one another?" No one said a word. Everyone knew Orion was right, as usual. "So, why doesn't someone else tell us the truth instead of hearing crap like this?" Orion's arrogance and ignorance was annoying to everyone around him and it felt akward to be around Orion. Rand Cypher "Singularity"
Rand was late. Not that he had intended to be. A nightmare had kept him up the night before. He had fell into a deep sleep just a couple hours before the meeting was supposed to start. It had been five years since his sister had been kidnapped. Once a year now he had the nightmares. Memories replayed for his horror. They had been especially vivid this year. More so than any since that first week. "The past cannot be changed," said Rand.
"What was that?" Edmond had slid into step with Rand.
"Nothing, Ed. Just thinking of the past." Rand replied.
"Well, you better hurry I think the meetings already started," stated Edmond.
"Come on Ed, no one talks to me without a reason," that was more of Rand's choosing, "What is it you want?"
Edmond let out a sigh, "Is there any way you could move that huge rock behind my shop? Its been in the way since I expanded."
"I'm already late," said Rand, "might as well." He walked behind Ed's shop. It really was a big rock. Must have weighed at least two tons. Rand wondered if it had been a mountain before the sandstorms had worn it away. With a little concentration Rand distorted the gravity around the rock. He lifted it with one hand and threw it as far as he could. The huge rock got smaller and smaller until Rand couldn't see it anymore.
"Couldn't you have just crushed it?" asked Ed.
"Of course I could," said Rand, "but if I had you would have just been left with a two ton pile of sand. Anyway, I better be off."
"Thanks, Rand," said a chagrined Edmond. Rand just grunted.
He got to the HQ entrance and listened for a moment. He caught the tail end of a speech on how they should destroy the Storm Devils. He was just about to knock when Orion and Ryssa got into an argument. He grimaced, those two were always going at it. When the spat was done, Rand finally knocked.
Silence. Seconds later Rand heard Shane's voice, "Favorite Dazzleball team?"
Rand replied, "Solem Sols"

Ryssa cocked her head to the side, keeping the sweet smile upon her lips. "But let's talk about something else. Would you like to know when exactly you're going to die? Because I can tell you."
"That's kind of weird for someone like you...I just wanted to mention that." Orion said annoyed.
"Like me?" Despite the smile that hadn't wavered, Ryssa's voice took a dangerous tone. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean, you big bad ninja man?"
"Can we start without the other flesh bag? I cut out of my drinking early to be here and I want to finish this up so I can pick up where I left off"
]"You know exactly what I mean. Don't you dare every call me a Ninja again. I am a SAMURAI, not a freakin' NINJA. Like a girl could be stronger than a guy anyway." [/B]
"Orion, was it? Why don't you tell us something of factual value instead of telling lies?" Ryssa grinned as she mirrored Orion's earlier words, albeit with a bit more snark than he had originally used them. "Last I checked, samurai had a code of honor. You're misogynistic and you're attempting to provoke conflict with me. Ergo, you're not a samurai. And if you're not a samurai, gee, what other martial artists use weapons like that big ol' sword of yours? Oh, that's right, ninjas!"
Ryssa took a deep breath. "Ninjaninjaninjaninjaninjaninjaninjaninjaninja!”
Blaine was still near one of the candles, and hadn’t moved since entering the room. Ryssa had shown up soon after with Orion and Kirin on her heels. As usual, Orion and Ryssa were at each others throats. Tinmin didn’t seem to care about their argument but wanted to get on with things and Blaine agreed. Rand finally showed up and Shane let him in so they could start the meeting. Orion and Ryssa hadn’t let up and it was starting to get annoying.
“Will you two knock it off!? We have bigger problems to worry about then who lied and who is or isn’t a ninja. Look, the Devils have to be dealt with. They’re getting more and more aggressive and trying to take more territory.” Blaine reached into his jacket and produced a map of Pangea, which he rolled out onto the table. “They’re extending further and further, and although they don’t have permanent control, their periodic attacks are becoming more frequent. We need to act!” Blaine said as he indicated the proper locations on the map. He turned to Shane for a response, and saw he was deep in thought. The team waited for a response from their leader.

Shane annoyed at Ryssa and Orion's bickering, walked to the door and asked for the password. Realizing it was Rand, he opened it and let him in, escorting him into the room where the tension was steadily growing. Shane went over to the end of the table and sat down in the chair in front of the flag. He found a way to block out the arguing people and think.
"My brother put me in charge but didnt tell me how to run this thing. All I know is from observation. I'm operating on blind faith. I need to do whats best for the team."

Shane looked up and made eye contact with everyone in the room. They were all waiting on him to make the decision. The thing was, he wasnt sure if he was making the right choice. But he couldnt let them know that. He had to be confident. At least in their eyes. They had to put faith in their leader.
"Blaze is absolutely right," Shane said with determination. "If we dont find a way to get rid of the Devils soon, we're going to have alot more blood spilled than we intended......I have a plan......With enough firepower, we could have something going."
Shane took a deep breath and thought carefully of what he was going to say next. It was crucial to the survival of the Sigmas and the thriving of the cave village.
"This is how it will go down.....We are the 7 delegates of the Sigma Mercenaries. We are the generals of an empire of bikers. Our duty is to protect the city and thats what we're gonna do. Seeing as we are the 7 leaders, its our job to pull off the hardest mission. We're gonna hit them where it hurts. We'll lead a few squads into a battle and infiltrate the Storm Devils' cave fortress. The squads will cover us......and we'll all take on one of each delegate from the Storm Devils. I'll take on their leader, Jan Krew. Once we've defeated each delegate we'll get the hell out of there then go back shortly after with another squad to finish them off. They wont have time to retaliate after the deaths of their leaders if we go on the offensive twice in a row. What do you guys think about that?"

"That plan is fine but I willl not be going with Ryssa! She's too much of a hassle for ANYONE to take!" Orion yelled angrily at Shane but the words were aimed for Ryssa. "I'll go with Kirin."

"We're all going together and thats final. Seer is as capable of fighting the Devils as you are, Crimson. You guys are going to have to learn how to deal with each other. Its not about you two, its about the safety of the cave village. And please follow the rules, Crimson, only address us by our codenames."
Shane turned from Orion and addressed the rest of the team. "Alright, any body else got a better idea, because this is a democracy and we do need to know if you have an idea of your own."

Tinmin:
Tin was bored. He was part of the Sigmas, but at the same time, he usually spent his time alone. He sat there and listened to Shane's plan. 'Hmm...' he thought as he tilted his head. "The Plan Is Fine Except That You Don't Account For Any Sort Of Retaliation Or Resistance. You Just Sort Of Assume That We Can Just Waltz In And Take Them, Then Call It a Day." Tin then put his feet on the ground and stood up.
"What You Need Is More Detail. That Is Unless, You Strive To See Your Fellow Fleshy Ones Die. It Doesn't Matter Much To Me." Tin said as he turned to leave. "I'll Be At The Bar."

"They cant retaliate if they have no leaders to orchestrate it. Besides, we go in shortly after we attack them and go on the offense again. Two attacks that will destroy their forces for good. They wont have a strong enough force to take us on after an attack like that. Dont leave yet Tin, you'll have to stay until I dismiss you. Respect me like you did my brother and I'll give you the same."

Blaine "Blaze" Edwards
Blaine listened to Shane's plan as he explained their strategy. The idea was solid but there was a problem. "Battery, it's a good plan but, Tinmin has a point. We have to get passed their forces to get to the leaders. With just the seven of us we'd be like pigs to the slaughter." said Blaine. "Do you have a better idea Blaze?" he asked. "As a matter of fact I do. Right now, if we launch an attack the Devil leaders will assume one of three things: a) That the attack is legit, b) That the attack is a cover for a second attack, or c) That the attack is a cover for us to infiltrate their hideout."
"And regardless of which, one of those will be accurate, right?" asked Ryssa.
"Not quite. You see, the attack won't be to cover us getting into their hideout, it'll be to cover the fact that we're already there. I propose that we sneak into the Devil HQ, possibly in the supply caravans or something along those lines, then hideout. Meanwhile, two of us would remain out here and command our combined forces in an attack. When the Devils launch their counter attack, we spring a trap and take out their leaders while they're vulnerable. Obviously we'll have to defeat them first, but with the element of suprise on our side, I think we can pull it off." Blaine paused as everyone considered this proposal, then looked toward Shane hopefully.

"Thats a great strategy, Blaze," Shane said. "We'll send the squad ahead of us and blend in with the rest of the sigmas until we reach their base. Then we'll give the orders for the sigmas to fight while we infiltrate and get rid of them as they reveal themselves. The suprise will catch them off guard and they wont be at their best. After they're leaders are dealt with, we'll retreat and attack a few hours later to finish them off. Its brilliant."
Shane clapped his hands together. "Well if no one has any objection to that plan, go out and spread the word to the other sigmas. Stock up on weapons and get rested. We'll be attacking some time between now and later this week. You are dismissed."
As the delegate sigmas got up to leave HQ, Shane stopped Blaine and Rand. "I need to talk to you guys for a second." Once everyone left the building, it got dead quite as Shane looked down to think of the right words to say. "Um....This is probably gonna be the most dangerous mission we've ever had to endure. If...If something happens to me, and I'm no longer able to lead the team after this battle, Blaine will lead the gang from then on. Rand, you'll be his second in command. This goes for future missions too, just in case. We have to be prepared at all times. I trust you two the most. I'm sure you'll make me proud."

Rand Cypher "Singularity"
Rand had stayed silent during the whole argument over how they should handle the Devils. He finally spoke up, "I don't know what we are squabbling about."
Rand looked at each of the other leaders, "We were put in this position for a reason. The people believe we have what it takes to keep them safe."
Rand stood up and began to pace, "I believe that its a good plan. Infiltration. It gives us the element of surprise. They won't expect the seven most capable men," at this time Rand heard a couple of small coughs, "and women on the inside. We have trained for this. We have powers unlike anyone else. We are each unique. Together we can do anything."
With his part said Rand sat back down in his corner He looked at Shane, "Thank you for the responsibility. I just hope I never have to step into your shoes."
Question

Ryssa Leybenzon, "Seer"
As the youngest person present (well, as far as she knew, anyway), Ryssa chose to stay out of the planning session between the leaders of the Sigmas (Other leaders? Had she been promoted at some point without realizing?). She lacked a lot of fighting experience, to the point where she had to exaggerate her most recent victory to maybe get these others to take her seriously.
Orion Ishido and Kirin Nagato
"That plan is fine but I willl not be going with Ryssa! She's too much of a hassle for ANYONE to take!" Orion yelled angrily at Shane but the words were aimed for Ryssa. "I'll go with Kirin."
"........" Kirin had nothing to say to Orion since he was so harsh before.
Ryssa said nothing, but smirked as she cocked her head at him, mouthing the word 'ninja' over and over as the others did the planning thing.
Ryssa was a sweetheart, but to someone as obviously misogynistic as Orion? He could take it. Or she would mock him mercilessly for not being able to take it. Either way.
As Blaze came up with the plan that Ryssa knew Battery would agree with ("Seer", after all), she closed her eyes. She said what she knew she had to say, and then dipped into the currents of time, curious if Blaze's gambit would succeed. Even before dipping into the future, and even with her limited strategic sense, Ryssa could tell it was a good plan (mostly by the agreements of everyone else present), but the best plans often went awry. Ryssa figured she was here basically to check up on things like this, to see the future.
It was a good plan. Mostly.
Ryssa opened her eyes to see everyone else leaving. She'd missed what they were supposed to be doing, thanks to being a little distracted from looking into the future, but figured she'd catch up soon enough. It's not like she didn't know exactly when they were leaving, anyway.

Orion Ishido and Kirin Nagato
Orion and Kirin proceeded with everyone else leaving but as they were walking Kirin had a few things to say to Orion. They were important to his self control and arrogancy.
"Orion! I've got a few things to say to-" Kirin stopped and noticed Orion had put a face to Kirin shutting her off.
"Save it, Kirin. I don't need some of your damned speeches, okay?" Orion ordered angrily.
"But, you need to calm your frustration and arrogance! It's getting out of damn hand, Orion!"
"Listen, you need to shut the hell up and stop telling me what to do. Got that? You're not my damn mother." Orion felt as if he went to far. "You know what? I'm so sick of this noise. See ya, later, Kirin." Orion walked away to get away from everyone. He walked in front if the pack and hurried his way to the weapons room.
Kirin sighed and said, "What the hell do I do with him?" Kirin that they slowed and stopped and she looked back seeing Ryssa not far behind.

Shane packed everything up. He went around the room and absorbed the plasmic energy out of the fire to put them out. When the lights were out, he walked through the sillouette and down the corridor. He took the chains out of the closet and locked the door up tight before straying off to Edmond's Merchant Shop to get a drink.
While walking into the shop, he took out his lupara, sawn-off shotgun, and began loading it up with the ammo from the ammo strap around his chest. He then put it into its holster on his thigh and kept going. He noticed that there was no one in the shop and he looked around to find Edmond.
"Eddie?" he asked as he walked around. Suddenly someone came out of the back door of the room. It was Jan Krew, the leader of the Storm Devils, holding Edmond in a headlock with a pistol to his head.
"Say a damn word and his heads popping off," Jan said menacingly, holding Edmond tighter as he struggled. "I'm not kidding."
"You hurt him, You're going to hell," Shane said. He was furious. No one endangered his friends.
"You're not in a position to make threats, Battery."
"I think I am," Shane said. His eyes began glowing red. Suddenly the lights in the shop went out and the silk outline of traveling energy sunk into Shane's body. He was absorbing the energy from the shop. He then put his hand behind his back, charged up a blast, and forced it at Jan knocking the gun out of his hand. Shane ran forward and grabbed Edmond just as Jan got hold on his gun again. Jan fired furiously trying to hit Shane but the bullets ricocheted off of the shield he had put around himself and Edmon-. He led Edmond out of the store and looked around to see enemy bikes racing through the cave village like they owned the place.
"Oh hell no," Shane said angrily. He led Edmond off to safety and ran over to his bike. He got on and revved it up. He then activated his watch which had a built in communicator. He set it to activate for all other Sigma watches.

Tinmin:
The rest of the meeting went on and Tin wasn't exactly sure of what happened, instead of listening, he had tuned out and heard only the smooth sounds of Jazz. Most people would think that Tin was being disrespect full or would be pretty useless since he seemed to never really listen, but that wasn't the case. Tin had recorded every second of the meeting into his brain and could pull it up anytime and get the info. He just has a hard time listening to them because he can't help but feel so different. He doesn't know why. Maybe its the fact that he's a robot that looks human. Maybe its the fact that he's a robot with no real emotions and a drinking problem. Either way, it would be a good thing to ponder over a good sturdy round of booze.
"Ahh! My Home Away From-Wait A Second...I Don't Have A Home..." Tin thought aloud as he approached Baum's. "Perhaps This Is My Home Away From-" Tin's words were suddenly cut off the fact that he was just shot. The force of the bullet was enough to knock Tin down for exactly .999 seconds. "I Believe an Ow Is In Order." he said as his neck telescoped out and around to inspect the damage to his jacket and shoulder.
'What The Hell's Going On Out Here?' Ayla's voice could be heard from within the establishment. The door swung open and the green haired woman see's her "best" customer laying on the ground inspecting his own shot body.
"Ah Ayla. Sweet Beautiful Ayla. Caring and Tender. Quick With a Joke or To Light Up Your Smoke. I would Appear to have been rendered temporarily incompacitated.
'What?' she asked as she noticed figures stepping from the shadows. 'Friends of Your's Tin?' she asked as Tin rotated his head to see them.
"Nope. They're Most Likely The Ones Who Shot Me." he said bluntly and obviously.
'Really? I Couldn't Gather That From The Smoking Gun In That Guy's Hand.' She said sarcastically.
"Sarcasm? Really? They Just Made It So That I Can't Get Up For Another 5.2 seconds, and You Give Me Sarcasm?" Tin said, with a shocked look on his face. "I'm Appalled."
'You're a Something. Otot Go!' She said, shooting a finger forward.
The Storm Devil walked forward, a deranged grin on his face. "Heheheh. Imaginary Friends Ain't Gonna Help. Just Let Us Kill The Sigma and Well Only Rough Ya Up A Little Bit. Okay?"
"Actually, Otot is a rather strong and vicious beast." Tin said as the Devil shoved Ayla away and grabbed Tin by the throat. "He Ate My Hand Once."
Suddnely, a large, dog-like figure jumped down from the roof of the building and pounced on the devil holding Tin. "GAH!" the Devil shouted and Otot's powerful jaws gripped into his arm. "Devil's Get Him!" he commanded as he dropped Tin so as to try and pry Otot off.
"Good Boy." He said as he picked himself up. "Ayla dear. Go get Scarerow and Martus and go someplace safe. I'll Take Care of Scare Bear and the Hair Bear Bunch." Tin said as he flicked out his hands, releasing the various blades, microguns and corkscrews from his fingers.
"ATTENTION SIGMAS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THE CAVE VILLAGE HAS BEEN BREACHED BY THE DEVILS. WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. REMEMBER YOU TRAINING. WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CAVE VILLAGE AT ALL COSTS!!"
"Now He Tells Me." Tin says as he punches three Devils in the face.

Blaine “Blaze” Edwards
With the meeting adjourned and everyone agreed on a modified version of his plan, Blaine headed out of the cave. As he did, Shane called him back for a moment. He held Rand back as well, and waited for the others to leave. Once they were gone, Shane stated that he trusted the two of them over the others, and that if something should happen to him, Blaine would be in charge with Rand as his second in command. Blaine was glad to know that his leader and good friend trusted him this much. Despite being the senior member after the death of Shane’s brother, Blaine hadn’t become leader. This was mostly attributed to his temper, which had a bad habit of getting the better of him from time to time. But if Shane trusted him, then maybe he had some leadership skills after all. Shane dismissed them and Blaine hopped on his bike and tore into the desert.
He drove across the sands enjoying the heat and thinking about the strategy of his plan. It really was fool proof in that as long as the devils fell for the attack, there wasn’t much that could send the plan awry…….
"ATTENTION SIGMAS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THE CAVE VILLAGE HAS BEEN BREACHED BY THE DEVILS. WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. REMEMBER YOU TRAINING. WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CAVE VILLAGE AT ALL COSTS!!"
….except that. Blaine swore under his breath as he slammed his handlebars to the left and pulled a 180, spraying sand in all directions. He gunned the engine and sped off back toward the Cave Village.
As he approached the Cave, it sounded like anarchy. He pulled in to see Devils everywhere. Shane was near Edmond’s store battling the Devil leader, while the other Sigmas were trying to stop the rest of the Devil force from destroying everything. Blaine activated the small flamethrower on the front of his bike and charged through the crowd, taking out Devil bikes left and right as he went. An icicle suddenly flew through the air and nearly hit Blaine’s front tire. He dodged and spun the bike around to see the one person that could have caused icicles in the desert, Demetrius Hale. “Long time no see Blaine” He said slyly. “Not long enough” Blaine replied.
Demetrius was the Devils’ top tactician and could run mental circles around almost anyone. So far, Blaine was the only person to ever outsmart him, which was the main reason why he disliked him so much. Blaine drove at Demetrius, then leapt from his bike and tackled him as icicles pelted him in the face. They landed on the ground and began throwing punches at each other. Blaine grabbed a flame from the flamethrower on his bike and launched a fireball at Hale, but he dodged and then used his powers to freeze the entire bike. He looked around and realized that Hale was using the nearby fountain that supplied water to the cave village as ammunition for his attacks. Blaine sent another fireball at Hale and tried to move toward the fountain as they continued their battle.
Question

Ryssa Leybenzon - Seer
"Barkeep! Another bottle of your finest! On the rocks! No ice!"
Ryssa preferred this out-of-the-way speakeasy to Eddie's Merchant Shop for a variety of reasons. Today, it was that she could act like a goof without being cut off. Ryssa didn't drink much, owing to her young age and tiny frame, but when she did, she appreciated not being told that she had to stop.
"The usual, Ryssa?"
"Please!"
Ryssa grinned as the barkeep placed a shotglass of ginger ale in front of her. Hey, just because she drank occasionally didn't mean she was drinking now, dig?
"So, what brings you by, Ryss? Need to drown your sorrows after your promotion to delegate?" The barkeep leaned on the counter across from Ryssa as she made a show of chugging the ginger ale and letting out a gut-wrenching belch. "Very attractive."
"I try." The barkeep poured her another shot, which Ryssa threw back just as quickly. "Nah, today I'm here because this is where I'm supposed to be."
"Not for the company?"
Ryssa's grin melted into a more pleasing-to-the-eye smile. "Well, that too."
"ATTENTION SIGMAS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THE CAVE VILLAGE HAS BEEN BREACHED BY THE DEVILS. WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. REMEMBER YOU TRAINING. WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CAVE VILLAGE AT ALL COSTS!!"
The barkeep suppressed a snort as Ryssa lip-synched the warning perfectly before throwing down another shot of ginger ale. "I suppose that's my cue."
"Cue for what?"
Ryssa drew her dagger from it's holster on her thigh and, gripping it by the blade, threw it out the nearby window. As a man passed into view, the blade of the dagger plunged into his throat, and he fell to the ground. He made no verbal noise, as the blade of Ryssa's dagger had expertly severed his windpipe. Ryssa threw back one final shot of soda as she rose from her barstool. "Put it on my tab, huh? I have to go make sure we don't all die now."
The barkeep smiled as he collected Ryssa's glass and wiped it clean. Ryssa strolled casually out of the bar, pausing only to retrieve her dagger from the throat of the Devil. Almost as an afterthought, she also took his communication device, deciding that she'd appreciate the praise Shane would give her when she told him a heavily-embellished story about how she'd wrestled it from the super strong Devil's dying hands. He wouldn't believe her, but that was the fun of being Ryssa - no one could ever be really sure.
Ryssa strolled through the cave, looking for all the world like a harmless teenage girl out for a stroll. Every so often, she would stop, close her eyes, and chuck her dagger at someone's throat. She'd then retrieve it, clean it, and continue on her slow trek through the cave. She knew what was going to happen before it happened; why waste energy by getting all worked up over an infiltration that wasn't even going to succeed anyway?
