Post you thoughts on having Tommey back, pros and cons of it.

Pros

1. It will be a nice nod to the past.
2. It will be interesting to see how he interacts with the new rangers.
3. Tommy is a very popular character.

Con's

1. Tommy could take up too much of the focus.
2. You lost the orginial character you could have came up with in Edward Payne.
3. Your young fanbase might now know who Tommy is (or only know him from watching a few reruns).

Overall I think the Pros outweigh the cons. I think it is very interesting having Tommey back. Their is already enough orginality and potential for fresh stories with the new cast members. Plus we haven't seen Tommy for a while so it will be interesting to see how he has changed ( we only got a glimpse of him in forever red). I don't think Tommey will hog the spotlight because the writers did such a good job given the characters in NS equal time. I think the writers will do the same with DT.

Pros
1.It will be a nice nod to the past.
2. It will be interesting to see how he interacts with the new rangers.
3. Tommy is a very popular character
4. We can know how a veteran Ranger moved on with his life.

Cons
1.Your young fanbase might not know who Tommy is(although I doubt that will be really a problem)
2.There's an understandable fear that the writers might attempt re-create an MMPR mini series inside the Dino Thunder series (although this won't happen, since JDF was brought back to attract older fans back to the show, not to be the center of it.)

I don't really believe that he will take up too much of the focus. Look at the first two episodes. I think everything went fine there. Besides Tommy is the reason I started watching Power Rangers again. After the Time Force the Power Rangers had become rediculously boring IMO and I had quited watching them for the past six or more months. When I realized Tommy would return I became PRmaniac again and after I downloaded the first two episodes yesterday, I know I'm glad they brought him back.
