Hey SDR welcome to your life....or interview even have fun :D

This interview should be completed within a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.

Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.

I think I have covered everything so let us begin.

Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

Well it stands for SuperDinoRed, which was my second username. See when I first came across this board, I had to think of a username at the time. What better way to express my love for the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and Red Dino Thunder Ranger, being they both are my favorite rangers of all time. So at first it was SuperDinoRed93, but I decided to cut it down to just the plain and simple SuperDinoRed. That was until the crash (I believe it was) happened. So I decided to return as SDR, keeping it short and sweet. From then I've been known as that ^_^

Name your top five favourite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favourites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favourites as possible.

Well I don't really have a top five, so I'll just name the ones that are my favorite. Order doesn't really matter here besides the first one, I also wouldn't change any thing in these seasons.

Dino Thunder - Even though many people despise Disney, I have to say this was the best season sense In Space. It gave us three totally unique characters. One more unique then the other, they gave us a Jock, Singer, & a Computer Geek. Let's not forget the return of the Legendary Tommy Oliver, and of course the wonderful Trent. The story was very well put together, everything seemed to run smoothly. Plus the twist of Mesogog being Anton Mercer and being Trent's father. It was something we have never actually seen before; sure we've seen Brother and Sister or Sister and Sister. But never Father and Son, but it doesn't stop just there. Not only did we get a bad ass villain, but we also got my favorite team up. Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder, was by far the best episode of the season behind the two part finale.

Zeo - It was something new, something much different then just Lord Zedd and Rita. The team got new Suits, Zords, Weapons, Etc. Plus the return of Jason Scott and a new addition to the team by the name of Tanya. Though it did have it's moments in the season that got to me, for example the leaving of Billy. It's just sad when the best Blue Ranger to ever come along leaves forever. Even though it had its good parts, there were still something’s I didn't enjoy. For example The Machine Empire, I just felt that there was no motif behind them. But I did like Prince Gasket; he is up there with my top three villains.

Lightspeed Rescue - I really don't know why people put this season down so much. It gave us are first man made Rangers, which has never been done before. Change can often be for the better at times. Though some of the characters were portrayed by horrendous actors, except for the man who played Ryan. His character was pure genius, and not because he is the first American Made Ranger. But his whole back story was incredible, and the fact that he has saved by their worst enemy made it even better. All in all this is one of my favorite seasons.

Mighty Morphin S1/2/3 - Last but not least, the original season. How can you not love this season, it had everything talented young actors and expert fighters. Plus we got to see the way they developed as a team over the course of three years. This season first introduced us to the first evil ranger, let alone the future legend. Let’s not forget the wonderful Zack, though we only knew him for about a season and a half. He will always be in my memories as the greatest Ranger to ever dawn the suit. Following shortly after the wonderful Adam Park, though some say Tommy is more of a legend then Adam. In my heart it doesn't feel that way. Even though Tommy has done more in his Ranger Career, Adam was the playmaker in each of those teams. But enough about the Rangers, lets not forget the wonderful gruesome duo of Goldar and Rito. The two were merciless yet comedic at the same time, which can often be hard unless you’re pretty much psychotic. But then again thanks to Rito we had the chance to meet Ninjor and take a look at the power of Ninjetti. So all in all these are my favorite seasons. Oh and the Alien Rangers (Nuff Said).

Your right about DT never was an evil father and son before and it had a fantastic team up! Loved NS and DT together it was priceless!!


A great evil is loose. It's your job to construct a ranger team. Out of all the rangers available from all the different Power Ranger/Sentai seasons, which ones would you want on the team? These can be from each season and you can have whoever you like, so Five Rangers one Sixth ranger Or SPD style and have 8.
In addition, why you would chose them as well, what makes them good enough?

Hm this is a tough question. I'm not much of a fan of the whole eight ranger team, so I'll stick to the basic six.

Red Ranger/Rocky - I think it would be the right time to show off his leadership ability. It was the reason he was chosen as the second Red Ranger, but in the end he was outshined by Tommy. This was very disappointing, so I think he can handle a team on his own. He has excellent leadership abilities that were not shown to its fullest extent. Not only that but when he fights, he brings his A - Game and goes full force. This makes for a great leader!

Blue Ranger/Theo - Though we haven't seen much of him, I've seen all I needed to. A great fighter and a dependable guy. He would make a great addition to the team; he is not one to get that distracted while in battle. Plus he has knowledge of Martial Arts which is key. Not only that but he is very focused on his goal at the moment. No matter how difficult the challenge is, nothing stands in his way.

Green Ranger/Bridge - Every team needs some comedy every now and then in a team. I believe Bridge is the perfect candidate for this goal. In battle he is always serious, but still contains his comedic personality in the course of it. Which is great for a ranger, it shows how much he is in control of the battle. Plus he is not one to fall down that easily. Once he is down, he just shoots back up with twice as much energy. Plus his ability at times can come in handy at crucial moments.

Yellow Ranger/Maya - Even though she is a peaceful woman, it doesn't mean she isn't fierce on the battle field. Always peaceful but as vicious as her zord. She always delivers on a team, plus her calm personality can soothe any situation. Not only that but it can make the darkest of situations that much brighter.

Pink Ranger/Vida - Brave and defensive, lets not forget about her in your face attitude. She is the right women for this team, this Pink wearing Woman will step up to every obstacle in her way. Never backing down and always giving it her all. Not often do you see her frightened, which is an awesome trait for a Ranger. Not only that, she is a great fighter which was shown over the course of time as a Ranger. So it is very unlikely that she would let down this team.

Last but not least, let’s not forget about the all mighty sixth ranger.

White Ranger/Trent - The Fierce and Mighty White Ranger! He handles each situation with peace and tranquility. Though he may tend to sweat things out, he always has his emotions under control. For god sakes his father was his own enemy for the time being. That is not often an easy thing to take in. This shows that he won't fold under pressure. But that isn't the only reason why I would want him on this team. This team wouldn't be complete without a powerful role like himself. From his exceptional ability to fight well to his control that he has with his suit. Each move he makes is smooth, and makes an impact after each one. It is no wonder why he was put on this team.

Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favourite? Why is it your favourite? What has made it your favourite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.

Even though I did say the Dino Thunder/Ninja Storm team up was my favorite. It is close to my favorite, but it isn't exactly it. I would have to say the In Space/Lost Galaxy team up was my favorite. We got to see the return of the Psycho Rangers, and the team up lasted longer then any others. The Space Ranger Team was around for about four episodes. Also the events that occurred during the team up actually affected the main plot. For example the death of Kendrix, that was indeed a sad moment. But it led to Karone becoming the new Pink Galaxy Ranger. So it all goes back to the Space Rangers, sense Karone was originally part of that season. So that is hands down my favorite. But it did lack one thing, and that is Zhane. The In Space Team isn't complete with the Silver Ranger.

In Power Rangers, we are seeing a lot more Rangers with genetic powers, which one that appeared in the show would you want and why? What would you do with it? Would you use it for personal gain? Would you tell anyone about your gift?

Well as much as I would like to give you an answer off the bat, I have to say I like several powers.

Conner's & Ronny's Super Speed - This is one of the powers I would probably like to have the most. This would give me the ability to be on places on time, without using some sort of transportation. Meaning no car means less pollution. This is probably the safest power out there. Plus it also gives you the advantage to avoid almost anything coming your way; that could possible be harmful in anyway. This is probably the main power I would like to half. Unfortunately I like a few more.

Z's Duplication - To be honest I would use this power for my own personal gain, with a small amount of helping people out. Anyways this would give me the ability to be at several places at the same time. Meaning I'll be able to make everyone content, while still being happy myself ^_^ as for the helping of people, this power lends me a few more hands around the area. This is probably best for cleaning up environments and what not.

Ethan James’s Dino Skin/ Sky's Protective Fields - Both are these powers are awesome ways to protect yourself from anything dangerous. Nuff Said!

So yeah this is actually a tough decision to make, but I to say I would choose the super speed any day.

Superspeed would be handy and shows like smallville and heroes always make that power look good :p



Out of all the Rangers who is your favourite and why what is so great about them? Did they do anything that you really liked about them more? Would you change anything about them?

Believe it or not Billy is my favorite. He set the standards for all the intelligent yet nerdy kids. Even you are useful, I think the development his character went through over the course of seasons was a pure work of art. He faced his fears countless of times, he even went to becoming one of the bravest rangers of the group. If not thy bravest, though some people beg to differ with my opinion. Following in Billy's foot steps as a blue ranger is no easy task. I felt sorry for Rocky when he became Zeo Blue; because I knew he would never live up to expectations. Though I was upset Billy never became Zeo Blue, but I guess it was for the best. He went on to bigger and better things, building countless of gear for the rangers. It is a shame that he was forced to leave the rangers in order to keep his age balance. But I do have fate that in some way Billy will one day return to the Ranger Universe, even though Yost wants nothing to do with the series at all.

Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?

Anyways I haven't watched much Sentai; I see clips of it every now and then. Like I know most of the stuff but if you were to ask me character names; I'll most likely go blank. At the time would have to say Gekiranger is favorite sentai from what I've seen so far. Though I would like to watch more of it, but with the schedule I'm on it would be difficult for me to do so. But eventually I'll find some time in this hectic reality we call life ^_^

What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?

Lol all three hours of it.

Well my earliest memory would have to being woken up by my two brothers when I was smaller. We would all sit on the couch all huddled up. Are eyes were glued to the screen and a mouths to the spoon that held are captain crunch. We would always cheer for the rangers as the show progressed. My oldest brother would pretend to be the Red Ranger; my other older brother would pretend to be the Black Ranger. Which left me as the Green Ranger ^_^ I had plenty of merchandise but my first major gift was the whole set of power rangers. You know the ones that you press the buckle in and their head flips from morphed to unmorphed. It was my prize possession, until I lost them when we moved to are new house. It was a sad day for me, but I kept watching.

SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.

So many questions in just one. Well to be honest I would actually love to see a Female Red Ranger. It is a unique twist, there has only been one female red; and she was evil. Though she was a great evil ranger, I'm a big fan of the A-Squad. I wouldn't mind her being Red for the entire season, but I would go at it a different way. I would probably have the Red Ranger become brainwashed half way through the season. Then the Female Mentor would take on the role of Red Ranger. But that is just my own idea, as for all the fans that is a very tough to say actually. With the way are fandom has been lately with the exception of a selected few. It could either bad or good, it all depends if the fan likes how the character is portrayed. I wouldn't mind too much, I would actually like to see a Female Red Ranger and a Male Pink Ranger. Sounds odd, but I think it could work.

As for the little kids, at first they might not understand it after always having a Male as Red. But sooner or later they'll get use to it. I honestly think that sentai should indeed make a female red.

I like your idea of her taking over red, its a nice way for a younger auidence to get introduced to a female red or the people who hate the idea for some stupid reason some people out there do....but I like your idea.


Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?

Anyways at first didn't really hit me, I just thought they would return with different powers. I mean come on Tommy did, why could they do it right!? But then as Season Three reached the point of Kim leaving, that’s when it finally hit me. All up of seeing those three again plus Kim was one and an million. Well luckily for the viewers, we hit the jackpot with Jason returning as the Gold Zeo Ranger. Though in return we get Billy leaving, so I guess when another door opens, another one closes. By the time of Turbo was already use to goodbyes, though it was sad to see them all leave (wish Justin would've left, nah j/k). In return we got a kickass team despite what people say. So I say it all turned out for the better, if those Rangers never left. Who knows where Earth would be in the Power Ranger Universe.

Well, seems that Blondy is dealing with some personal problems and I'm not sure when she's going to be back, whether tomorrow or next week..so I'll take care of her interviews in the mean while..hope it's alright..Sowy for the delay.

Which villains in Power Rangers do you like the most? Which ones do you hate the most and why? Which Villain do you think beat the rangers more then any other one? Which one do you think would have been better in another season for example the villain in SPD might have been better in IS.

Whoa I let this one slip away, anyways Karol!

Well I like many villains but a few stand out to me more than others. I do enjoy watching the Antics of Rito but I love the physicality Zelthax brings to a fight. But if I had to pick one that I say I liked the most, it would probably have to be Master Vile. Feared by many, and power unmatched. He was probably the best villain to ever come into the Power Ranger Universe. As for the villain I dislike the most, it would probably have to be Master Org. I never really liked his character, as well as his history. But that's only my opinion, he does fail in comparison to Divatox though. The lady pirate herself managed to destroy the Command Center, Zords, Dimitria's tube, and of course the Turbo Powers once and for all (Despite Justin and TJ's return as Turbo Rangers later). I believe she has come the closest to defeating Rangers than anyone. I also believe she would've done more damage if she kept chasing them across Space. So as you can see I would have to say Divatox would do awesome in Space. But that won't take away from Astronema, to leading villainess who would duke it out time to time. Piranhatrons vs Quantrons, Rygog vs Ecliptor, Elgar fighting for loyalty of one of the woman, and the final battle of Divatox vs Astronema. Which can be a fight to remember...
