Overdrive: A Power Rangers Journey
Year: 2009
City: San Angeles/ Angel Grove
Story: 2007, a great year on Earth, not only for humans but for aliens as well. As a team of Power Rangers led by a Robot by the name of Mackenzie Hartford destroyed a great evil named Flurious using the powers of a being called the Sentinel Knight. This blast had seemingly killed the circuitry inside of the android, back in the base everyone had mourned over the dead droid except for The Sentinel Knight, as he placed the crown on Mackenzie’s head and not only turning his circuitry back on, but turning him to a full human. This was the end of the journey of the Operation Overdrive Rangers, but not the remaining Lava Lizards or Sentinel Knight for that matter. As the remaining Lava Lizards circled Sentinel Knight and the Corona Aurora and they unleashed 7 different kinds of fury on the Sentinel Knight. They destroyed his body this time for good and they took the Corona Aurora space with a special package to the planet Onyx.
Once the lizards reached the planet they walked into the same saloon where Trakeena was nearly destroyed and placed the crown on a pile of Crimson and black rocks. Which had forced the rocks to come together and recreate a being that had attack the Earth 11 years earlier, the Dark Specter. This evil reincarnation had then placed the crown on the frozen Moltor, which had thawed the evil lizard like creature. Together the two had began to ravage the Universe from space, Destroying Mirinoi and KO-35 in the process. The two had managed to get back to Earth in order to find what is called the Jewels of Life. These Jewels have been known to both bring and destroy all kinds of life from around the universe. And the two had received word that the jewels were hidden somewhere on Earth. Once the two had returned to Earth their plans had slowly came together. They had began to search the Earth for the Jewels of Life, finding only a few but not really enough to do any damage.
Mackenzie Hartford, who was at the time opening a new base with another former Ranger, named Michael Corbett had decided to open a treasure hunting organization in San Angeles called SGS. This organization was in charge of collecting rare treasures and fending off those who threatened Earth, although no one really threatened the planet. That was until Mack had walked into a trap created by Moltor, and the Specter. This trap had witnessed the return of the Fearcats, Mig and Bengalo, as well as Kamdor and Miratrix, who had broken out of Kamdor’s Crystal. Mack was locked away by this new Alliance of Evil in hopes of the ew team of Rangers coming to rescue him. Which they did, but the team of Rangers were destroyed by this team of evil, but the rangers were able to free Mack before falling to this alliance.
Once he returned to SGS Mack, and Michael had opened the files of the monsters that had captured the former Red Overdrive Ranger and it had shown that they were controlled by a force called The Dark Specter, they had began to pray for a hope of destroying the Alliance of Evil, when a man named Voice had appeared on a computer and told the two alumni that the Overdrive Trackers were actually still at the SGS base, and that they should use the Trackers to face off against the vile crew led by the Dark Specter.
