In my opinion, the plot is too confusing. Why is the modern age not like real life but primitive instead? It's not very well explained.

It's not a real life RPG! It's supposed based off of a real life incindent in time but I modified it.

I understand, but the casting call doesn't explain that very well. Exactly what is the present day like in this RP? What is the technology?

He's saying if its in 2015, what is it like during this time? if its in the future, why is it not modernized? Its not like the world all of a sudden turned into Fuedal Japan in the next 7 years. It'd have to either take place in the modern age or take place even farther in the future where things could change to a point where its Fuedal yet Futuristic Japan, like Samurai Jack or Ronin or Afro Samurai.
