Welcome Fire Warrior, thank you for your time. This interview will consist of 15 questions or more.
This interview should be completed within a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.
Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.
I think I have covered everything so let us begin :D
Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?
Well, my username... It used to be my old email address, which eventually got shortened to Raz (Hi!). Then, I got really into the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I thought Avatar Roku, the guy in my Avatar LOL, was really awesome. From then on, that's the name I've used. AND, to link it back to Power Rangers, I had made a group of rangers that were based on Avatar, each with one of the four elemental powers from the show. That, it. LOL

0.0 *blinks* OMG! RAZ! *pokes* it's really you! *waves like crazy* -.- I don't know why I thought you seemed familiar..
Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.
*slaps hand* stop poking me, it hurts. But I do have a plate full of virtual cookies :D
Well, this may have changed a little, but here it goes.
1. Time Force - What can I say. This one is my favorite because a) Ransik was one of the best villians ever, b) There was tones of character development in this one, c) Jen was freakin' hard-core and d) this one had the darkest storyline EVER and if it wasn't for the fact that it had brightly colored spandex, it probably would have done well as a prime time, young adult oriented show.. The only thing I would have changed was to go ahead and make the second season of this one. It would have done really well I think. Oh, and make it just a little bit darker.
2. Zeo - It's not as old school as MMPR, but it's definitely up there with my favorites. I really liked the whole concept of fighting machines, the effects were better IMO, and the Gold Ranger was WAY cooler looking than the MMPR Green ranger. Also, Pyramidas FTW! The only thing I could say was to make it less campy, more like the later seasons. I know back then, nobody cared, but if I watch it now, everyone seems like such an overachieving wussy. Other than that, it still holds the Old Skool Ranger Award for me.
3. Dino Thunder - I really loved this one a lot. I likes that they brought Tommy back (now less of a wussy), they had Dinosaurs again, and Mesogog was just creepy (I'd hate to meet him late at night in the parking lot of my school). Everyone seemed to get equal prominence in the show, and Trent was crazy insane when he was evil. The only thing I would do to it is the same thing I suggested for Time Force: Make it darker.
4. Mystic Force - Harry Potter + Power Rangers = Win and Awesome. Seriously, they went with a good thing dowsing this show with gallons of magic and mystical stuff. The plot twist with Korragg and Nick and Udonna was something I would have never seen coming. The character development in this season wasn't as good as others, but it made up for it with the whole mystical thing. I would have liked a lot more character development, and if they wouldn't have rushed the season.
5. Lost Galaxy - Aside from Leo always ripping off his shirt, this season was a really good one. This season still had some of the great qualities of the Zordon era while also starting to experiment with some new stuff. This season was more like a continuation of Ins Space than anything else, but it also expanded it very well. Even though the actress who played Kendrix was sick at the time, I liked how they brought in Karone to be a ranger. That's another thing I never would have saw coming (and I didn't). I could see this season being a little darker, and it would have been awesome if all the rangers except Leo who would battle Trakeena, and then putting the swords back in the stone brought them back. That would have been an awesome ending.

Yay *steals one and runs away* Lol, nice seasons, wow, some people really do have problems with Leo ripping his shirt off lol.
A great evil is loose. It's your job to construct a ranger team. Out of all the rangers available from all the different Power Ranger/Sentai seasons, which ones would you want on the team? These can be from each season and you can have whoever you like, so Five Rangers one Sixth ranger Or SPD style and have 8.
In addition, why you would chose them as well, what makes them good enough?
Hmm. I just realized this sounds a lot like once a ranger. LOL oh well, here it goes...
Oh, BTW, sorry bout the long awaited post :)
T.J. - Blue Space Ranger: I would want T.J. as the leader of my team. He was a very good fighter, knew how to make tough decisions, and never let his friends down. He was a compassionate leader in Turbo, and continued the second in command role very well in In Space. The only reason I chose T.J. to be leader as the blue ranger is because he has a freakin' rocket for a zord, and in Space is just much better.
Jason - Gold Zeo Ranger: I know, your thinking "What! Why did you not put Jason as the leader?" Well, mainly because I think he did a much better job as an extra ranger then he did as red ranger (that doesn't mean he didn't do a good job as red though). He seemed to be under less pressure to make the tough decisions as Gold, and his zord was simply awesome. Plus, black looks better on him than red does.
Wes - Red Time Force Ranger: I want him because he didn't know how to give up on a fight, and he always tried to make the best of any situation. He was a strong fighter, but also good person and friend to his team. And, who else can say that they saved not only Earth, but history also. Plus, he almost scored with Jen :D
Maddie – Blue Mystic Ranger: I know, another blue ranger, but this is my team Gosh Darnit. Mostly, I want her because she seems to be that balancing board the can move the team into choosing an action that would help the team, as well as keeping everyone together. And when she gets mad, she definitely goes Hulk on you, just without the green and big muscular part. :D
Kira – Yellow Dino Ranger: Yup, she needs to be on there. She is the not as girly-girl of the team, and she has that kick ass voice of hers . Plus, she was a very good fighter and good friend, not letting anyone stand in her way or tell her how to act, she just did it on her own, in her own style.
And, that's pretty much it...

Lol that's alright, you can take as much time as you want..Haha yeah, it's your team, you could make all blue rangers if you wanted to I guess lol. Nice team.
Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favorite? Why is it your favorite? What has made it your favorite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.
Well, this team up still remains as my favorite: The one of Wild Force with Time Force. Even though Wild Force isn't necessarily my favorite season, this team up was still awesome because of the depth they went into for this. It wasn't a "I'm the villain coming back from last season to kick your butt!" team-up. They gave a new back story for Ransik and how he got some of his powers. Other things in there were awesome to *OMGJENINBLACKLEATHEROMG* :D

LOL! Yeah..Jen had the best entrance evah there...
In Power Rangers, we are seeing a lot more Rangers with genetic powers, which one that appeared in the show would you want and why? What would you do with it? Would you use it for personal gain? Would you tell anyone about your gift?
Now, wouldn't it be awesome if they had a cross-over of Power Rangers and Heroes...
Okay, back on track. This one actually wasn't in the show, but there was a hero in X-Men, his name was Darwin. His power was that his body would evolve to any given situation. Like, if he was falling from a 50-story building, he would grow wings to fly, or if he was on fire, he would develop skin that could resist burns. That would be an awesome power to have as a ranger. It could be a bit unpredictable as I would have no control over what my body evolved, so I couldn't really use it for other stuff besides survival. wouldn't really tell anyone though unless I absolutely had to.

0.0 Never heard of that one before, really useful..
Out of all the Rangers who is your favorite and why what is so great about them? Did they do anything that you really liked about them more? Would you change anything about them?
0.0 That's really hard to decide on. Just about every ranger (with some exceptions) are worthy of the title of best ranger. However, one always stands out in my mind, Mike the Magna Defender. One, he chose not to take back the red ranger powers from Leo, and he willingly accepted the powers of the one who held his body captive and made him do things he didn't like. He also gave up his powers, and almost his life, to get Terra Venture out of the Lost Galaxy, and that takes a lot of balls to do that.

Lol, sounds good.
Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?
If you have not seen any Sentai, would you like to? If not, why?
I've tried to watch some Sentai, but I really couldn't get into it. Mostly, I just read about the sentai before the English season comes out so I have some idea to compare the new season to. That's just about were it goes with me though. The only sentais I've even seen a little bit of is Zyuranger, Abaranger, and Magiranger. That's about it. *scratches head*

Lol, if you ever want to see some..-.- skip the ones with the dancing.
What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?
Well, this wasn't the earliest, but this is my BEST earliest memory. It was back in kindergarten, and it was show and tell day. Now, take a wild guess as to what just about everyone brought: that's right, their power rangers toys except for the random girl with her My Little Ponnie or something like that. Anyway, I had my one and only toy, the Zack toy that changed heads when you pressed the belt buckle. A couple people had the megazord, but what was awesome was when everyone started playing a group game of power rangers during recess. That was awesome.

Haha cool.
SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.
Seriously, I need to get on more often LOL
Anyway, I have absolutely no problem with a female Red Ranger, especially leading the team for an entire season (Jen did that, except she wasn't red). I personally think that having an other Female red would be awesome, and most fans (hardcore and casual) would have no problem with it.I don't think Disney would do it any time soon though because they want to make it easy for themselves. The only way Disney will do it is if it happens in Sentai, but that probably won't because of the culture they have over there. We can always cross our fingers though.

Lol yup maybe..I'm not just talking about interviews here :p..*has had fingers and toes crossed for a while*
Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?
Back then, I was a little said that they were leaving, but I think it was overshadowed with three new rangers and Tommy coming back (which in retrospect wasn't that important LOL). Even though three of the original rangers were gone, I think their replacements did a pretty awesome job, becoming legends in their own right. As for all the rest leaving in Turbo, it didn't really bother me much at all, except I think they could have found a better replacement for Adam then Carlos (he still did a good job though).

Which villains in Power Rangers do you like the most? Which ones do you hate the most and why? Which Villain do you think beat the rangers more then any other one? Which one do you think would have been better in another season for example the villain in SPD might have been better in IS.
Personally, you can never go wrong with having Rita and Zedd (the universes ultimate dysfunctional couple) as the best villains. They just fulfilled that spot for me, not just because of their villainy. It was that they had all these lame things that were supposed to beat the rangers, and they seemed to come close right before they got there butts kicked, and then the headaches started LOL. I didn't really have a villain that I hated though. The closest that ever came that that spot was the villain from Mystic Force. He was just so cocky even though his forces always got their butts kicked, and he underestimated the rangers and the people or Briarwood at the end. The enemy that came the closest to beating the rangers HAS to be Dark Spector and Astronama. They had the rangers an inch away from giving up and all of Angel Grove was trashed. I can't really think of any villain that would have been better in any season, but I think it would have been cool if the Machine Empire had fought the Wild Force rangers (machine vs nature always works).

Wow I never thought about that last thing you said..but it really really makes sense..
Do you like when a ranger team starts off with 5 and eventually is joined by a 6th ranger? Or do you like it when a team starts with 3 and eventually is joined by two or more? Explain within detail the one you prefer
I have to go with a team starting off with 5 people, mostly because it is the only kind of team they can seem to be able to do right. When they start off with 3, they tend to rush things later on to get the new rangers in, and then there's no time for anything real development. One thing that can help with that...make the seasons longer. 'Nough said. LOL

What aspect of Power Rangers is your favorite? (The posing, Zords, helmets, etc?)
I would have to say the zords. Every time they start a new season, I'm just like "Dude, new zords....SWEET!"
Yup, I just love the zords, how they use them, who gets them, how cool they look when they destroy the bad guy. That is definitely it.

Lol nice.
If you could create a Power Ranger season what kind of PR would you have, where would it be set, what year, what color be the leader, how many rangers? What would the villain be like?
Yay, time to pop out more of my ranger team ideas! Lets see what I have....
Well, this is a work in progress, but I had this idea of a team of rangers based on the show Reboot, except it would use some of the new stuff that they're adding to the remake (yup, they're actually redoing reboot). Anyway, the team would be from the human world, and they would be Users sent to the net, chosen by five keytools to fight against Gnosis (a giant program that is taking over the net), while learning to control the Codex (a computer language that the new producers say is supposed to give whoever knows the language supernatural powers (computer-wise anyway). I would probably make the leader red, with the other colors being black, green, blue, yellow, white, and purple or orange as an extra color. And of course, Megabyte would have to be in there.

Wow that is really different..
If you could create a Power Ranger team made up of Villains who and why?
