You're probably really mad you have to deal with me again lol.:p
Welcome ThisSpaceForRent, thank you for your time. This interview will consist of 15 questions or more.
This interview should be completed within a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.
Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.
I think I have covered everything so let us begin :D
Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

*cackles* I'm just hoping that the third time is going to be the charm.
You do realize that everytime I start one of these, I never get to finish them because something catastrophic always happens to the boards? Maybe I'm cursed or something... I guess we're about to find out!
Oh, and to save time and move this along (in hopes of maybe finishing it this time), I'm going to C'N'P questions I've already answered before...if that's alright. n.n;
So...
My username? Hmm… It’s been so long now, I barely remember, but I think the idea originally came to me from a joke picture of Britney Spears from forever ago, where she was wearing a skimpy little outfit standing beside a bike with her back to the viewer, looking over her shoulder into the camera. On her bottom, someone had written the words “This Space For Rent. For More Information, Call 555-555-5555” or something corny like that. For some reason, I found that hilarious and that joke always stuck with me.
There’s also a sentimental undertone to the name because I always say my heart is for rent. Not for sale, because no one will ever own me, but I’d gladly rent it out to someone caring and kind: the only currency I accept is love. <3
It is somewhat Ranger related, though, as PRiS is one of my favorite seasons ever.

Lol, I have the same feeling towards RPGs that's why I stay away from them now. Haha that's funny, I almost forgot the Britney Spears thing.
Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.

I love this question because I hardly ever answer it the same way...
Like I've said, I’ve watched every single season, but I often have to be reminded of certain high and low points of each.
Depending on how my mind is opperating at a certain point in time, my favorites are always subject to change. They revolve constantly. As of late, I’ve had quite the affinity towards several of the newer Disney-produced seasons (*prepares for the flames, hides behind a fortified steel wall*).
But, yeah...Instead of a Top 5, I think I’ll list the seasons in the order of which I favor the most right now. n.n If that's all right...<3
Oh, and towards the end, past the top 6, order really doesn't matter...except for the last two.
In Space-- After re-watching some of the most important episodes a good while ago on PRG, I still regard this as the ultimate season (so far, anyway). Besides an incredible season premiere, introducing the “Red Rookie” concept, and the legendary Countdown To Destruction, In Space finally took the Rangers out of their normal element of Angel Grove and threw them into some unfamiliar waters. Oh, and the Psycho Rangers are love.
Dino Thunder-- The throwback, as I call it. One of the best seasons ever, in my most honest opinion…I loved everything from the Rangers themselves right down to the villain and his lackeys. I have a soft spot for homicidal maniacs (Principal Randall/ Elsa). Mesogog was the creepiest bad-guy since Lord Zedd, and I really enjoyed that. Plus, there were dinosaurs. DINOSAURS! Oh, and Kira. And Connor. And Trent. And Tommy. And Trent. And Ethan. And Haylee.<3
S.P.D.-- Nearly a perfect season. Nearly. If only they had developed Jack’s storyline a little more, gave us more convincing and in depth backgrounds on all of the Rangers, it would have been great. It was the first time a season’s overarching storyline wasn’t Red-centric (Sky’s wanting to live up to his father). It also gave us our first declared Jewish Ranger (that I can remember, anyway): Bridge. Beyond that, we had a big blue anthropomorphic dog as a 6th Ranger! Just a really fun and entertaining season.
Jungle Fury-- I have fallen in love with this series. All of the Rangers are awesome and memorable (imo, anyway), R.J. is different from any other mentor to come before him, and I love the idea of Dai Shi inhabiting a jerky human-- somewhat humanizing the character, making him more real and accessible. The action is also pretty nice, even if the Kalish-isms are quite tired by this point in time (seriously, cut out the overuse of wires, useless explosions, and air ripples, please). It’s a very fun season, and the theme song is uber-catchy to boot.
Turbo-- I don’t understand why people don’t love this season…I used to try and rationalize it as Justin being a completely unbelievable deus ex machina…but then I realized this is POWER RANGERS we‘re talking about. Deus ex machina's are daily occurances in the PRU. Justin isn‘t nearly as awful as people make him out to be, in my opinion. Besides, this season gave us DIVATOX! Granted, I prefer the second half of Turbo to the first, but…C’mon…First African-American Red Ranger! First Asian-American Pink Ranger! Divatox came this (from here __ to here) close to destroying the Rangers. You gotta give her her props. VIVA LA DIVA!
Ninja Storm-- Despite what some think about the campy, self-aware humor of NS, I really do believe NS was the second saving grace in Ranger history. Besides being really funny, it featured a new premise and set-up not seen before in a Rangers title. The suits were killer, the action was ’dope’, and the Xtreme sports angle with the Rangers in their downtime was really neat. And Lothor pwns.
MMPR-- The original. You gotta pay homage. Sure, some of the acting and special effects and chopping hasn’t aged that well, but Trini, Zack, Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Tommy, Aisha, Adam, Rocky, and (for like, two seconds) Kat will always be iconoclasts in my book. Always. R.I.P. Zordon…wherever you are. ;_;.
Zeo-- Pretty rockin’ season. Loved the Machine Empire…but when I first saw those suits I literally cringed a little. Over time, I grew to actually like them, but that first shock never wore off. Zeo was a pretty interesting season, it did some stuff I’d never seen before, and I liked it. It gave us Tanya (whom I adore) and gave us a Gold Ranger. Can’t hate that.
Lost Galaxy-- Another awesome season (although the whole ‘dome’ monster-battle-inside-of-a-space-station thing did seem entirely too farfetched). Maya, Kendrix, Kai, Damon, and Leo were a great bunch of Rangers. I mean, c’mon, Kendrix sacrificed herself to save Cassie’s life…And then Karone filled in for her while Kendrix was ‘dead’. Wow. Trakeena and Scorpius weren’t my favorite villains ever (even though, Trakeena fused with Deviot was kinda ridiculously awesome), but they were pretty good.
Lightspeed Rescue-- Beyond the first American-made Ranger, the Titanium Ranger, there wasn’t much about LR that I liked the first time around. Honestly, the cast of Rangers that season wasn’t one of my favorites. BUT, after re-watching it some time ago, I realized it really was a good season-- it was just different. Kelsy’s acting might have been a bit stilted at times, but I really grew to like her character. Dana seemed a little too blasé for me the first time around, but after seeing her again, I realize she was just a professional-type, akin to Sakura of GoGo Sentai Boukenger. Carter, the first time around, felt weak to me…then I realized his fighting style was simply different. It’s a military-esque team- Carter was a crackerjack shot. Can’t hate on that. Chad was pretty boring most of the time. I can’t really recall much about him, other than his near romance with that mermaid lady. Oh, and I can’t stand Joel. There’s almost always one Ranger I can’t stand. Sometimes I get over it, but with Joel I haven’t. Still don’t like him.
Mystic Force-- Capes, over-acting, and length of season aside, Mystic Force introduced a theme not yet tackled fully in the Ranger U: magic. Sure, magic has existed in the series before, but not as strongly as it did in MF. Not to mention, Dark Wish was a pretty good little arc. I love Udonna as a mentor, and Vida, to me--despite the shoddy acting-- is one of the bad-ass-iest Pink Rangers ever (we’ll get to Jen later)…and, oh yeah, Nick, Xander, and Chip are smoking’ hot. Beyond that, we’ve got Koragg/Leanbow and Daggeron and Fire Heart and a host of other kooky cool characters. I rather enjoyed the season. Not the best, but certainly a fun ride. Oh, and just to be clear, I actually adored the capes.
Time Force-- I’m sorry, guys…I just…I just don’t like Time Force. Not like everyone else seems to. I just don’t. I thought it was so boring. Nobody made me care about them, and the one's I came close to loving never got enough screen time or focus episodes, imo. Jen seemed like a witch (with a capital ‘B’), Trip was a goofball most of the time (I've only recently begun to warm up to his character), Lucas seemed too pompous to me, and the villains were sickening. Wes was such a loser, I thought. He and his ‘daddy issues’ just made me sick. I didn’t feel sorry for him at all. I just wanted him to shut up. All of them should have shut up (save for Katie and Circuit, my favorite characters that season). Oh, and then we have Eric…the A-hole. To this day, I would like to punch him in his throat. I just didn’t ‘get’ this season.
Wild Force-- Four words: Tarzan in red spandex. Ew. Horrible season. Horrible Rangers, horrible acting, horrible mentor, horrible CGI zords. Horrible. Just horrible. I found very little to like about this season. The things that I did like were: 1.) Cole was pretty damn sexy (NOTE: You know it's bad when I go to something shallow like that) , 2.) Zen-Aku was pretty damn awesome, and 3.) Toxica and that other guy were pretty damn funny together. Other than that, this season was pretty damn ghastly. Almost made me stop watching…
Operation Overdrive-- I kind of abhor this season. Okay, I loathe it with a passion. If it weren’t for OAR, this probably would have been my least favorite season. Even over Wild Force! *gasp* Farcical plot points (even for PR standards), gratuitous overuse of stupid ‘genetic powers’, and writing and acting that makes Barney look like Shakespeare-- this season was made of suck. And after seeing the source material, I just cannot forgive this season, so full of potential for complete Ranger pwnage, for sucking so incredibly hard. In short: NO ME GUSTA A TODO! NO ES BUENO!
But, yeah, I've stuck through the good times and the bad, and-- overall-- I've loved this franchise with a passion that few other of my loves (other than Harry Potter) receive. <3

-.- Wow that took a while to do lol. Cool though, one of the few people that never gave up on the show..I can't say the same lol.
A great evil is loose. It's your job to construct a ranger team. Out of all the rangers available from all the different Power Ranger/Sentai seasons, which ones would you want on the team? These can be from each season and you can have whoever you like, so Five Rangers one Sixth ranger Or SPD style and have 8.
In addition, why you would chose them as well, what makes them good enough?

Adam Park-- Cunning, courageous, and capable, he was always one of my favorites and OAR solidified him as a legend in my book. Would love to have him back.
Kimberly Ann “Kim” Hart-- Love her so much, despite the pitfalls of the “damsel in distress” stereotype. By season three of MMPR, Kimberly had definitely grown and I could see her taking a more pronounced role on the team. I think an updated Kim would be amazing. I have so much love for this character and her growth during her time on the show. I’d love to see how she’d handle Rangerdom again.
Tanya Sloan-- So many people don’t seem to like her, and I don’t understand why as I absolutely loved Tanya. She was one of my favorites, and I’d love to see how she would handle another go-around as a Ranger, considering how great of a job I think she did initially. She’s such an underrated character, but I adore her so much. Plus, it could bring about those Adam/Tanya ‘shipping possibilities that I love so much.
Leo Corbett-- I loved this guy. He was such a great Ranger-- full of passion and bravery and just plain old awesomeness. I’d love to see him again.
Skyler “Sky” Tate-- I love “by the book” Rangers (Kai, Kendrix, Billy, etc.), and Sky is the poster boy of that. I don’t know how they’d explain the fuckery concerning the time line…but it’s Power Rangers, and they’ve messed with the time line often enough for me to not even worry about that. I’m sure it could all be chalked up to the magnificent-ical powers of the Sentinel Knight.
Charles “Charlie”/“Chip” Thorne-- Such a loveable geek. I don’t care what anyone says about MF, the acting, etc. I loved me some Chip. I thought he was adorable and he was always so noble in his actions. Besides… I wanna know if he’s truly a Knight by now.
Theodore Jay Jarvis “T.J.” Johnson-- I don’t understand people who disliked him…or those who think he made a better Blue Ranger than Red. In my opinion, T.J. was a great tactician, strategic planner, and usually a moral rouser when things got their worst. I’d love to see him return as a Ranger.
Kerone-- After seeing her transform from the wicked Astronema into her true self as Kerone, I would love to see how far she’s come after ridding herself of her former evil ways. I have a feeling she could be brilliant.

Awesome team.
Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favorite? Why is it your favorite? What has made it your favorite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.

I actually have four top faves. If I may, I'd like to list 'em...
1.) Dino Thunder/ Ninja Storm-- Such a fun couple of episodes! Especially since the Wind Rangers started off under an evil spell. The versus aspect of that team up was brilliant. Plus, there was the three-and-three thing that I really loved. Awesome team up. Perfect.
2.) SPD/ Dino Thunder-- Both times. "History" was brilliant, and would have totally been great all by it's self, but the fact that we got "Wormhole" as well was just icing on the cake for me. I loved it. Almost perfect...but no unmorphed Tommy and his obvious fake-out with that voice over kinda put a damper on "Wormhole".
3.) OAR-- Okay, not sure if this team even counts, but OMG do I love it. My only gripe was that there wasn't at least one other 'Pre-Disney' representative other than the awesome-tastic Adam, but still. Amazing. I loved it, despite detesting everything else about the season it was featured in (the ghastly OO).
4.) "Shell Shocked"-- That's right, I said it. The PRiS/TMNT team-up that lives in infamy within the fandom. I don't care what anybody says-- I personally loved that episode. It was fun and random and lulzy-- which was completely the point.

Haha, well OaR gave us at least one good thing from OO.
In Power Rangers, we are seeing a lot more Rangers with genetic powers, which one that appeared in the show would you want and why? What would you do with it? Would you use it for personal gain? Would you tell anyone about your gift?

Yeah, I've thought about it but never settled on one specific power from the PRU. Now, if this were an X-Men question, without a doubt I'd have gone for telepathy/psychokinesis. But, as it's only relegated to powers from the series, let me think...
I love Connor and Ronny's super-speed. I'm pretty sure that'd come in handy when you're in a tight spot...
I love Katie and Mack's (and techincally Ethan's) super strength. I'm leaning in that direction for my final choice, but please allow me to muse a bit further before deciding definitely...
Syd's molecular emulation of solids is a particularly neat power. But if I had it, I'd like it to be an all-over thing, Like Kevin Eleven from Ben 10: Alien Force...
Sky's force-field shields are neat, but I don't think his power alone is enough to satisfy me.
Bridge's residual psionic energy palm reading thing is neato-sweeto too...but I don't think he has the other mental powers to back it up, so I'm not really inclined to go that way...
Trent, Tommy, and Rose's invisibility...that appeals to me a lot, actually. Though I'm still not sure if it's my favorite...
Kira's Ptera-Scream is cool...but not for me. n.n Although, I do love me some Banshee and Siryn, I'm not much of a sonic-amplifier type of person. Maybe it there was a Dazzler twist to it, I might like it more...
Jack's phasing is really cool and looks fun...but I've learned from (Marvel's X-Men's) Shadowcat that it isn't really as glamorous as it appears.
I guess it comes down between Invisibility and Super Strength. Hmm...
I think I'll go with Invisibility. There's a lot of things you can learn when people don't think you're there.
I might use it for SOME personal gain, but I'd really try to use it to help out the common good rather than satisfy my own intentions. And I don't think I'd tell anyone about it. I think it'd be less effective if people knew you could do it.

Cool, hard choice you had to deal with there lol.
Out of all the Rangers who is your favorite and why what is so great about them? Did they do anything that you really liked about them more? Would you change anything about them?

Last time, before we were so rudely interupted by a sudden board upheaval, I was going to answer this question with an insane list where I just ranked EVERY ranger (yes, including the The Alien Rangers) from 1-10, but this time, I think I'll just pick out a favorite or two from each season.
MMPR (S1-S3)--
Kimberly Ann “Kim” Hart-- I don’t care what anyone says: I adore Kimberly. Everything about her, from her Valley Girl ways to the way she makes cute lil’ quips when she’s taking out baddies. (“Have a nice trip. See you next fall.” followed up by a good “Gotta love it!”) Kimberly, too, pretty much began as a one-dimensional stereotype, but I believe, as she grew into her Rangerdom, Kimberly became a much realer character. She didn’t mind fighting for a cause. She didn’t mind getting dirty or possibly chipping a nail. Towards the end of her tenure, it was evident to me that Kimberly had undergone a change and had matured quite considerably since beginning her adventure. Like I keep saying, such great growth for such a great character. From a straight up stereotype in MMPR S1 to a girl with actual depth and displays of leadership and courage by S3, Kimberly will always be the epitome of Pink Ranger to me. I don't know why, but she is. I adore her. She’s iconic to me, and I love her.
Aisha Campbell-- FIRST BLACK FEMALE RANGER! Okay, now that I’ve got that out of the way, let me tell you how much I love Aisha. Sassy, classy, funny, cute, caring, sweet and a completely perfect compliment to Kimberly. Kim and Aisha meshed so much better, in my opinion, than Kim and Trini-- even though I can totally tell that Kim and Trini, despite obvious differences, were best friends. Still, Aisha and Kim had so much more in common and still remained different. Aisha had so much character and personality and…I just love her.
Rocky DeSantos-- Lots of people give Rocky flack for being a ‘sub-par Red Ranger’, when in fact they fail to realize that Rocky wasn’t actually the overall leader of the team once he became the Tyrannosaurus. At first, I do believe he shared that duty with Tommy, and later Tommy sort of usurped him as the White Tiger…although, I still consider Rocky the co-leader. Rocky’s character was fun and young. He reminded me of some of my friends, and even though he was unsure of himself at times, I really loved the character. Zeo-era Rocky really stepped up his game and you finally got to see more of who he actually was. I was totally bummed when his leg injury kept him from progressing into Turbo, but I adored his stint as a Ranger.
Adam Park-- Oh, Lord. I don’t even have time to tell you how much I love Adam. I really, really don’t. I won’t even bother separating him from MMPR to Zeo to Turbo, because I really don’t have to. I LOVE this character so very, very much. He’s quick, he’s clever, he’s charming and adorable. He helps others even at the risk of his own safety. He morphed using a broken morphed to help Carlos learn a valuable lesson. He kicked some MAJOR ass in OAR. He’s just bloody awesome. I wish he’d come back a la Tommy in a mentorship capacity (with Ranger duties eventually), but that remains to be seen. Oh, I love Adam so much. Like, SQUEEGASM amounts of love.
Jason Lee Scott-- Though the very epitome of a meathead, Jason had a heart of gold (pun intended) and was a great leader during his stint as the Red Ranger. He also was a much welcomed sight as he took up the reigns of Trey’s Gold Ranger powers during Zeo.
William “Billy” Cranston-- Brilliant is an understatement. Billy, the original ‘brains of the operation’ was one of my very first television idols. For nowhere other than PR (and perhaps a few classic 80’s movies) can nerds truly kick as much ass as he did. He was the one stereotypical character from the original five who pretty much conquered his stereotype by becoming this sort of super-geek.
Zackary “Zack” Taylor-- Now, I wasn’t always so keen on Zack’s stereotypical “Black Guy” traits…but then his awesomeness began to sink in and I really began loving him. Now, when I was younger, being Black and all, he was the first Ranger character I could identify with, at least on a “Oh, he looks like me” level. But he did put his own twist on a classic fighting style (“Hip-Hopkido”) and was an all-around fun character.
Trini Kwan-- When I first saw her, I thought Trini was as entertaining as a slice of bread…but, after watching her, going back and watching her character many years after the fact, I have to say that Trini was a one of a kind. Quiet, sensitive, spiritual, and in tune with herself and nature. Of course, the whole “team of stereotypes” thing is possibly MOST obvious with her…but I don’t care. Trini was a great character and a strong Ranger. Wish there were more female Rangers like her today.
Zeo--
Everybody who transcended over from MMPR to Zeo is a given, obviously. Add to that:
Tanya Sloan-- Okay, as much as I loved Aisha? I loved Tanya THAT much more. I will admit, it was a hard sell getting used to her at first, but she integrated so quickly into the gang that it felt like she’d always been there. And that cool mystery angle with her parents was pretty cool.
Turbo--
Again, those transcending from Zeo to Turbo are already granted. So...
Justin Stewart-- Hate all you want, Justin was a great character. I never tire of the 'boy genius' schtick, but I do think they could have done much more with it than they did. An eleven year old in high-school doesn't just happen every day. Still, for what it's worth, Justin added something new to the Ranger universe that not a lot of people liked...but I did. In fact, I would LOVE for him to return in some capacity (and without everyone's want of a 'darker' him, either)...
Theodore Jay Jarvis “T.J.” Johnson-- People who say T.J. was a better Blue than Red are insane. T.J. was amazing at whatever he did, no matter what color he was wearing. He was a great leader and actually broke the monotone color wall that had existed for Red Rangers up until that point. He's really just all kinds of awesome to me.
Cassandra “Cassie” Chan-- LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE! Second-favorite Pink Ranger of all time (after Kimberly). She wore pink, but she was by no means a girly girl and she had such skills with fighting. I loved that whole 'bo-ho' vibe she gave off and she just seemed so chill. Plus, she was a phenomenal Ranger, I think. Love her.
Carlos Vallertes-- First of all, he was really attractive and I loved his accent. Second of all, he was a pretty good Ranger...Still not feelin' revealing his identity to that annoying little girl, but eh, you do what you gotta. Anyway, I really liked him. *shrugs*
Ashley Hammond-- Once I got past the hoochiefied clothing choices, I rather liked Ashley. She could have done with a little more personality, I think, but eh, I liked her well enough. n.n
...If you can't tell by now, I really don't have just one or two favorites. I have literally a dozen, I think. To save time, I'll just list the rest, and if anyone asks for expansion on each, I'll try to do so to the best of my ability...

0.0 Wow....is there anyone you hate? lol.
Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?
If you have not seen any Sentai, would you like to? If not, why?
ThisSpaceForRent

*giggles* It's a much easier question to ask me who my least favorites are, as that is a question I can definitely answer much more easily. n.n
I have watched some Sentai, yes, and I am open to more.
The SS series I watched in earnest was GoGo Sentai Boukenger, though I did watch a few episodes of GekiRanger and Go-Onger. Didn't really like either one of them all that much, but Boukenger was amazing. I need to get retroactive and go check out past Sentai series (though I've heard mixed reviews for nearly all of them), but that will have to wait for a time when I can actually do that... like when I'm financially blessed enough to afford DSL...
In the meantime, I will say that I am definitely interested in watching more Sentai, and toku in general. Though it might be a bit more difficult in the future since SurfTheChannel is now no more...
Anywho, sorry for the little delay, but college homework doesn't just do itself...though I've often hoped it would. n.n;
Oh! I thought I'd add something:
I think I'm kind of notorious for being vehmently against what most call "Sentai Snobery", so that sort of already serves as an answer to what I'd like to see PR do more like SS. I kind of like that they are different from each other. It serves to make them more as two seperate entities rather than a mere continuation or what would constitute as nothing more than fancy dubbing by recasting all of the Japanese actors with American/British/Kiwi/Canadian ones and barely changing the story for English-speaking audiences. If I wanted more Sentai, I'd watch more Sentai.
That being said, if there is one thing I can say I do admire more about SS over PR...it's presentation. The Japanese obviously care a lot about the presentation for the series, or some of the effects and tiny details (crumbling of steets, exploding of vehicles, etc.) would have been overlooked, the way they generally are in PR. If PR could just step up the presentation (particularly during the coreographed fight sequences), I would definitely not be against emulating that part of SS.

What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?

There's dancing? 0.0
And, yes, unfortunately. I am one of the last pioneers of the past; one of the only people I know who still has to deal with the torture of dial-up. I'm telling you, being poor isn't fun. n.n; Especially not in a Bush-Post-Bush America...but that's another issue entirely that I won't bore you with now.
The first Power Ranger memory that I can recall the most vividly (as it has been quite a number of years now) is the reveal of Tommy as the White Ranger. I knew it was coming, but it was still amazing to see. I remember freaking out, screaming and jumping around, and basically fainting just like Kimberly did. ^__^;
Of course, I remember earlier stuff, too-- like the second episode, when I noticed that Rita's speech didn't synch up to her mouth-- but that is my most lucid memory that I can recall at present time.

-.- Yeah, Dekaranger lol, I used to have dial up like...waaay back, it's a big pain...
SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.

Dial-up is the reason I don't participate that much in the more entertaining aspects of this board... like the video and picture threads, and the chats and all that fun stuff.
Anyway...
Let me begin to answer your question with a few choice pictures from my pixelling catalog:

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/TSFR_Justice-Sting_RangerReady.png

What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season?
If you couldn't tell from those pictures, I am most certainly ALL for it. As a feminist, I don't see why a woman couldn't wear red or lead a team full-season. If people say that Jen was the leader of Time Force and Taylor began as the leader of Wild Force, I don't see why a female, in RED, couldn't lead an entire team for an entire season.
Would you like to see another female red ranger?
As the only one we've ever had has been evil, I can definitely say that YES I would like to see another female Red. A good one. For an entire season. As leader.
Do you think having one would go well with the fans?
Depends on the fans, unfortunately. A lot of Ranger fans, particularly the males, seem to be...for lack of a better term, misogynistic horn-dogs. They might not enjoy a female leading...but they'd be more excepting if she were pretty and dressed like a bimbo.
More intellegent fans won't care about her looks but will focus on her character and just how groundbreaking it could be. I know I would adore seeing a female Red Ranger in a true leader capacity that, unlike Jen's, extended fully into the battle arena.
Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)?
People give kids too little credit, I think. A little boy won't care who is kicking ass as long as the ass they're kicking gets kicked in really creative and entertaining ways. When I was a kid, two of my favorite heroes were Wonder Woman (who I watched in syndication on FX) and Xena. Granted, I'm a very different type of guy, but I still don't think kids care that much about gender as long as the hero is heroic and the villains get what's coming to them. *shrugs* Just my opinion, though.
Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)?
Again, it depends on the type of fan. Like I said, a lot of male Ranger/SS/Toku fans are only concerned about looks when it comes to a female character. Having a woman lead might make their tiny little brains explode.
Then again, there are others, like myself, who have been dying to see it and would love to see it and have gone so far as to make their own. Speaking for those type of people, we would LOVE to see a female Red lead a season.
Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male?
We're talking after RPM now, aren't we? Well, again, that depends. Depends heavily on SS09. If the theme allows for it, if the SS09 Red is ambigous enough to do it, I'd love to see Disney take the risk and go for a Female Red. However, if there is no possible way to do it without it seeming forced, then I don't think they should. See, with the Yellow Rangers who have been feminized for their American counterparts, the footage for them was convincing... If there is a way to do that with Red, I would love to see it.
Do you think they should wait for Sentai?
I would say yes...though, I won't. Because I'm afraid if they wait for Toei they'll be waiting for forever. Toei, in over thirty years of Sentai series, has never given us a Female Red and don't really have a better excuse as to why not other than tradition. To me, this is stupid. It's a cultural thing, I know, but still: I think it's stupid. Women are just as capable of leading as a man...in some instances, even more so. For example, had Hilary beat-out Obama for the Democratic Nomination, I'd so be voting for her this November because I feel both she and Barack are infinitely better than McCain.
That is one of my biggest beefs with Sentai. The fact that everything must be so traditional. Because, y'know, ~a female red would destroy everything~, or something. I don't get it. It defies logical explaination to me.
I honestly think Disney should take the innitiative and make their own season. I really, really do. If anybody's got the funds to pull it off, it would be Disney. It's freaking 2008, nearly 2009. It's the 21st century and people need to be more enlightened than it appears they are.
Again, just my opinion. n.n

Wow, gotz a lot of comments for you nao lol. 1- omgosh *is your number one fan* your stuff is as amazing as it gets, probably one of the reasons why I love it so much would be having red female rangers *holds up foam finger*. About the litting kids thing, yeah, you're right, never saw it like that, I mostly thought of the cooties song lol. About Obama and Hillary, I got like, everyone I know to vote and she won in NJ yay, and...well now..Obama has like no experience and McCain is like...Bush 2..or..erm..3 so like, both are bad.
Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?

1. <3 Thank you so much! Like I said, I'm all about Female Reds. Gender has nothing to do with colors or leadership. n.n
2. Exactly. Little boys don't care about who's kickin' ass. They just like someome kickin' ass. Besides, a female leader might be helpful in difussing some of the misogyny often seen in this fandom.
3. I was all about Hilary. I adore Bill Clinton and Hilary has always been one of those people I just admired. But, to me, Barack Obama has amazing potential. McCain and Palin scare me. Like, if they win, I'm totally leaving the country as soon as possible.

I didn't, at first. Actually, I remember crying really hard and wondering whey they wouldn't show the Ranger's faces when they left...
But, had it not happened, awesome Rangers like Adam, Aisha, and Rocky never would have been brought into the show. And, as I adore all three of them, I can't really complain.
When it happened in Turbo, at least it made sense. At least we'd met two of the new Rangers before hand (Carlos and Ashley were background characters, if I remember correctly, for the earlier parts of Turbo). And Cassie and TJ, as I said earlier, are two of my favorite Rangers ever. So I wasn't nearly as sore about that Power Transfer.

*looks at watch* wow, that was fast lol. For 1 and 2, yeah, you're right lol, for 3, I thought about moving to Mexico (They have tacos there *loves tacos*) if Obama won, I'm still mad at him for winning against Hillary.
Which villains in Power Rangers do you like the most? Which ones do you hate the most and why? Which Villain do you think beat the rangers more then any other one? Which one do you think would have been better in another season for example the villain in SPD might have been better in IS.

See, I don't think Obama is bad at all. Inexperienced, a little...but I would MUCH rather have him running this country than war-mongering McCain or crackhead crazy Sarah Palin (which is a real possibility, considering how old McCain is).
As a Hilary fan, Obama's defeat of her was a bit of a blow, yeah...BUT, I believe in him. n.n

My favorite villains...Hmm...
Rita Repulsa on her lonesome....
Goldar...
Scorpina...
Zedd by himself....
Rita And Zedd in married bliss *cackles*....
The Machine Empire...
Louie Kaboom...
Prince Gasket and Archerina...
DIVATOX! <3....
Ivan Ooze...
Astronema...
Ecliptor...
Darkonda...
Scorpius...
Trakeena...
Villimax...
Trecheron...
Deviot...
Captain Mutiny...
Vypra (with her horrible acting ass)...
Olypius...
Diabolico...
Queen Bansheera...
Frax...
Toxica...
Jindrax...
Lothor...
Kapri...
Marah...
Zurgaine...
Mesogog...
Elsa...
Zeltrax...
Emperor Grumm...
Broodwing...
Mora/Morgana...
Imperius...
Necrolai...
Korragg...
Thrax...
Dai Shi...
Camille...
Aaaand, I think that's it. Obviously, bolded means they are big favorites...And of course, my most favorite at the moment is Divatox. I adore her. She's funny and ruthless, my favorite combination.
If you want more in-depth about why I like who I like, I'd love to expand on it.
As for villains I can't stand? Master Org, Ransik, Nadira, all of the regular villains of OO pretty much covers it.
As for villain coming closest to destroying the Rangers? I always say Divatox. Without her completely devistating the Turbo Rangers, Zordon's kidnap could never have occured and C2D never would have happened...and yet Lady D gets no love from a lot of the fandom. Oh, well. I love her.
Villains that would have worked better in other seasons? Hmm...That's a good question. I can't really think of anyone who would have worked better in another season, actually...Except maybe Ivan Ooze, who should be canon. I don't care what season he's in, he should just be canon. And blow stuff up.

Palin...she's the biggest mess ever, I mean...what's going on with her daughter says a lot about her...although I realize her daughter's options is not something Palin has much effect on...Wow, I saw a huge list and kinda expected all villains to be there lol, but I guess not..
Do you like when a ranger team starts off with 5 and eventually is joined by a 6th ranger? Or do you like it when a team starts with 3 and eventually is joined by two or more? Explain within detail the one you prefer

She makes me horribly angry. In terms of positions, I'm all the way on the left in my Liberal views. And for the life of me I can't see why that's a bad thing...especially when most Conservatives aren't about conserving anything at all (other than their own money).
My favorite parts of that whole mess are Palin going "NO SEX ED. ABSTINENCE ONLY!" and then when people find out her daughter's knocked up, she goes "THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Because, y'know, abstinence only sex education worked so well in that instance.
And don't get me started on her stand on abortion. No one is pro-abortion, but I'm completely pro-choice...especially when it has to do with the health of the mother. Using abortion as a means of contreceptive is stupid and no one but the lowest kind of person does that. Most abortions occur because the pregnancy is terribly unhealthy for the mother, to the point that she could literally die by having the child. And in the case of rape and incest, I mean honestly.
Whatever. Like you said she's all kinds of a mess.
Do you like when a ranger team starts off with 5 and eventually is joined by a 6th ranger? Or do you like it when a team starts with 3 and eventually is joined by two or more? Explain within detail the one you prefer
I actually don't prefer one over the other. I like them both equally because they both have pros and cons that balance each other.
With the five-and-one set up, you get to meet most of the Rangers up front and get to see them from the begining. In a season with only 32 episodes, that's a big deal to me. Introducing a sixth later on allows for that old-school MMPR thing, and that's always cool... But you don't really get to know the characters that well, because they always tend to focus on one or two Rangers more often than the others. And usually, but not always, that Ranger is the Red one.
With the three-and-two or the three-and-two-and-one or the three-and-one-and-two or what have you, you get to know those initial three really well before the other Rangers show up because, honestly, they are the only ones there to focus on... BUT when the other Rangers start coming in, you either lose focus on the first three or the new Rangers get shafted in terms of story. The only case that I can think escaped this pitfall is Dino Thunder. I think they handled characterization and equal time for the Rangers very well. It didn't feel like anyone or anything was tacked on as an afterthought.
In my own fan-seasons I try to mix it up the way the series actually does it, so I really don't have a favorite. I like them both.

*giggles* Politics are important. Everybody should be interested in them, in some degree, I think.
DT is love, that's for certain.
Now this is a tough question... I think I love just about everything about the franchise, really. The mechs, the suits, the colors, the explosions, the villains, the stories, the Rangers, the action, the poses, the roll calls, the morphing sequences, the morphing calls...All of it, really.
There are even aspects of PR that I'm sure no one else misses or notices but me... The way the villains used to teleport with their own specialized signitures... The Rangers teleporting, period.... The Rangers using their wrist-coms to communicate with each other or Zordon or Dimitria or whatever mentor... the Rangers wearing complete wardrobes in their colors... The Rangers rooms always matching their Ranger color...Continuity...
I really love EVERYTHING about Power Rangers. That's why I've stuck around so long. n.n

And that is a HUGE issue, right there. *sighs* It's really interesting, though.
Every vote counts, y'all.
That being said, I don't want people who don't know what they're doing to vote. Voters who would only vote for Hilary because she's a woman, Barack because he's black, or McCain because he doesn't believe in gay equality is extremely short-minded and silly. Those kinds of people don't need to vote.
If you could create a Power Ranger season what kind of PR would you have, where would it be set, what year, what color be the leader, how many rangers? What would the villain be like?
Funny you should ask this question...
Um...I actually am on a quest to create no less than TWENTY fan-seasons at the moment. Currently, I think I'm up to about sixteen or seventeen, but they are all various things that I've always wanted to see from the franchise. I'm even working on a concept now that focuses on an all-female team (kinda like Bubblegum Crisis)...
So... I think it's time for another reply using strategic pictures!

Power Rangers: Virtual Troopers
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Virtual_Troopers_GroupPic2_All_8_TS.png
Revealing as Light! Violet Virtual Trooper!-- Kimberly Ann Hart (-Scott)
Steadfast as Earth! Green Virtual Trooper!-- Edison Dwayne “Eddie” Gracie
Tranquil as Water! Blue Virtual Trooper!-- Jonathan Taylor “J.T.” Wong
Fearsome as Fire! Red Virtual Trooper!-- Patricia Denise “Trish” O’Dea
Flashy as Lightening! Yellow Virtual Trooper!-- Marco Giovanni De Luca
Agile as Air! Pink Virtual Trooper!-- Teresa Nicole “Tess” O’Dea and Lisa Maureen Vega
Mysterious as Shadow! Black Virtual Trooper-- Ezekiel Glenn “Zeke” Adair
Unabashedly inspired by ReBoot, VR Troopers, and similar shows of that vein, Virtual Troopers is a throwback to the days of MMPR, when the Rangers' friendship was key...Oh, and all of the kids are in high school. n.n It's set in the fictional town of Oceanview, California.
The villains are directly based on ReBoot villains. The two main ones even share the exact same names as their inspirations: Megabyte and Hexidecimal (pictures of both can be seen in my art thread).
Power Rangers: Neo-Zeo
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Neo-Zeo_GroupPic_RangersReady_Core6.png
Neo-Zeo 1, Green-- Martinique “Marti” Cavanaugh
Neo-Zeo 2, Pink-- Tyra Dawson
Neo-Zeo 3, Blue-- Javier “Javi” Rodriguez
Neo-Zeo 4, Yellow-- Griffin Ellis
Neo-Zeo 5, Red-- Cooper Nomura
Neo-Zeo 6, Platinum-- Chandler “Chance” Cavanaugh
Another throwback, more teenage characters, and lots of firsts: First Asian American Red Ranger. First African American Pink Ranger. First Openly Gay Blue Ranger. ^__^
Oh, and the villain? No other than my own version of IVAN OOZE. That's right. The DUDE WITH THE OOZE! *cackles* But, yeah...
Also, Ivan's children (yes, this version of him has kids) actually develop bonds with the Rangers...particularly his daughter, Princess Desdemona/Dizzy.
Power Rangers: Zeo Squadron
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Zeo-Squadron_Group_Poster01_TSFR.png
From Left to Right: Javier “Javi” Rodriguez, Tyra Dawson, Cooper Nomura, Martinique “Marti” Cavanaugh, Griffin Ellis
Inspired by the days when Rangers transcended powers, Zeo Squadron is like what Zeo was to MMPR...right down to fighting the Machine Empire! That's right, the newly crowned King Gasket and his bride, Queen Archerina are back to reek havok on the city of Emerald Cove, California.
Power Rangers: Beast Brigade (Two opposing teams of Rangers)
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Beast-Brigade_GroupPic_RangersReady.png
The Soaring Eagle, Beast Brigade Red-- Hayden Savage
The Whimsical Monkey, Beast Brigade Blue-- Alexandra “Lexi” Tavares
The Quizzical Tiger, Beast Brigade Yellow-- Riley Colbert
The Agile Crane, Beast Brigade Pink-- Chloe Yao
The Mighty Bear, Beast Brigade Green-- Keith Montgomery
Think Wild Force without the suck and you pretty much have the idea. Taking elements of shows like Captain Planet and other eco-friendly shows, Beast Brigade is all about protecting the world from the evils of greed and pollution.
The main villain I still have yet to come up with. I need someone who just encompases all of those evils....corporate greed, careless polluting, disregard for the environment... Whenever I do come up with it, I know one thing: the person will have an alternate identity as a businessman.
As an international season, Beast Brigade doesn't actually have a city... But it does have a Base of Opperations on an island, much like The Planeteers' Hope Island.
Did I mention they fight against an entire team of 'bad' Rangers for the entire season?
Power Rangers: Mythic Knights (Core 3 with 3 more joining eventually)
[center]http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Mythic-Knights_GroupPic_RangersRead.png
Mythic Huntress, Yellow Knight-- Roxanne “Roxie” Harris; Mythic Lancer, Blue Knight-- Sage Santiago; Mythic Crusader, Red Knight-- Fallon Savage
Featuring characters from the last season (Beast Brigade), these three kids become Rangers when they are visited by the Sentinel Knight and given a quest to protect the last heir to an ancient throne from the clutches of the wicked Queen Evilyene...
Basically, it's like a mix-up of The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog and W.I.T.C.H.
This is only part one of my answer.... n.~

Power Rangers: Justice Sting (Five plus one plus a non-Ranger Ally)
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/TSFR_Justice-Sting_RangerReady.png
From Left to Right: Koji Wakamoto (Goliath Beetle Green), Mason Eldritch (Dragonfly Blue), Holly Carmichael (Ladybug Red), Breanne "Bree" Fontaine (Butterfly Pink), and Sunhil "Sunny" Singh (Firefly Ranger).
Five teenagers, descendents of Edenoi warriors, discover their past when they are given these special bracelets, Amber Amulets, that unleashed an ancient magic that transformed them all into the the insect-themed fighting force, Power Rangers: Justice Sting!
Their villains are The Horde, an evil group of aliens led by Lord Tarantualix, younger brother of the fallen PR villain, Scorpius. He and his daughter Arachnia and his stepson Scorpiax are hell-bent on finding an ancient Edenoi treasure that has been buried on Earth for many years that would allow them to possibly take over the galaxy!

Power Rangers: Dragon Fury(Core 3, with two to join later)
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Dragon-Fury_GroupPic_RangersReady_C.png
From Left to Right: Davis Van Zandt (Dragon Blue), Beau Balmilero (Dragon Red), and Summer Johansson (Dragon Yellow)
A Martial Arts Themed season, in the vein of Jungle Fury, Dragon Fury uses the Dragons of Asian mythology and enfuses them with the elemental angle to produce a team of super-powered heroes.
The villains...I haven't quite worked out yet, but I'll letcha know when I do have 'em.
Power Rangers: Project Hyper Force
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Unnamed-Team_GroupPic_RangersReady_.png
From Left to Right: Kevin Garza, [B]Zoë Norwood, Tyler McAvoy, Britney Ngyuen, Nolan Ono, and Amy Blythe
Inspired by A.T.O.M., a Paramilitary/Tech based team, PHF features the first female sixth Ranger (in Pink, no less) and is the first team of balanced sexes.
This season has a sort of Rogue's Gallery of villains, a la OO...except not sucky.
The season really takes a turn for the interesting when the Rangers discover a new enemy who they once thought was a friend!
Power Rangers: The Final Frontier
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/Final-Frontier_Group_Poster01_TSFR.png
From Left to Right: Sgt. J’Mylah “Jem” Tabby, Broderick “Brody” McCray, Chase Corwin, Margot Fraiser, Sgt. Midorian “Dori” Korvalis
Obviously inspired by PRiS, Final Frontier is somewhat of a continuation season. Based in Angel Grove, it features three vaguely acquainted teens who suddenly find themselves as Rangers. Later, they are discovered and hunted down by two Alien memebers of a fledgling galactic police force.
Green and Pink crash landed on earth, losing their squad leader (Orange). I'm still up in the air as to whether or not I want him to reappear...and what side he'll be on if he does.
The villains for this season haven't been fully decided yet...but one of them, for sure, is Mama D, Divatox's often spoken of mother. n.n
Power Rangers: Warpspeed Rescue
They don’t have suits yet, but they will eventually (hopefully).
Rangers: Christopher “Topher” Prewitt, Blaire Noble, Oscar “Oz” Olivarez, Izumi “Izzie” Mamiya, Colton “Colt” Noble
A Tech/Vehicle/Rescue themed season, Warpspeed is obviously an offshoot of Lightspeed. I'm not certain yet, but they may even be fighting some of the same types of baddies as Lightspeed.
Power Rangers: Grand Prix
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/TSFR_GrandPrix_Core3Pic.png
The newest season I've started vaguely planning for, Grand Prix is obviously an homage to Turbo. Think Transformers meets Speed Racer with a little IGPX and you've got the general idea. n.n
Power Rangers: Project Olympic Victory
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/TSFR_POV_GroupMorph_SPDCRyJJW.png
From Left to Right: Ace Brulé, Kittie Ivanov, Donnie Amoretti, Corrie Fenty, and C.J. Carpenter
Directly related to Power Rangers: Project Hyper Force, POV is obviously an adaptation of the Thai Sentai, SportRanger.
Here's a little backstory...
Hyperion Enterprises, Inc. is a multibillion dollar company with divisions catering to almost anything you can think of, from entertainment (Hyper Entertainment), to computer and robotics engineering (Hyperion Electronics), to federally funded paramilitary armor and weaponries development (Hyper-Tech Industries).
As of recently, Hyper-Tech Industries, in particular, has been doing some groundbreaking work. This began with the creation of a mock-Morphing Grid that allowed for their first company-sponsored team of Rangers. Named after the project that created the powers, Project Hyper Force were ready-made do-gooders who went out and protected Landmark City from various forms of villainy, including their former project-manager turned bad guy, Prometheus Stone, who decimated the mock-Morphing Grid system.
Through some feat nothing short of a miracle, the Hyper Force Rangers were able to tap into the REAL Morphing Grid to access their powers once more.
After various scenarios and hypotheses were tested, Project Hyper Force pinpointed the link, documented it, and saved the files for future reference.
In another city half-way across the country-- coincidentally named Central City-- a sister project to Project Hyper Force was in it’s infancy. This venture was tentatively dubbed Project Olympic Victory. The goal of the project was to create superhuman suits that would actually strengthen the body of the wearer, so that when they are not in Ranger form they could still perform feats of incredible levels of difficulty. The project manager, a five-time Olympic gold-medalist in wrestling and Harvard graduate, Brock Terra (affectionately referred to as Coach), went all around the world, recruiting athletic protégés in various sports; among them, Boxing, Swimming, Gymnastics, Soccer/Football, and Tennis.
It just so happens that, at the onset of this project, Central City suddenly comes under siege by, you guessed it, invading alien forces. Now it’s up to this new team of Rangers, Project Olympic Victory, to protect the city and the world.
Power Rangers: Avian Force
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r312/Thisspaceforrent/TSFR_AvianForce_GroupPic.png
Garrett Browning -- 23-- Red Hawk Avian Ranger-- Ace Pilot
Hugo Miller -- 22-- Yellow Owl Avian Ranger-- Gourmet Chef, Expert Wrestler
Harley Schwartz -- 21-- Black Condor Avian Ranger-- Weapons Specialist
Beatrix “Trixie” Hsu-- 19--Blue Swallow Avian Ranger-- Systems Analyst/ Strategist
Lacey Ouellette-- 18 -- White Swan Avian Ranger-- Mechanic
Based on Jetman, obviously, this season is Bird-themed.
Some backstory...
Five young individuals, employees of the international defense, espionage, and law-enforcement organization S.A.F.E. (Strategic Action For Emergencies), volunteer to take part in an experimental new venture at agency headquarters aboard the Horizons Skylab-- a high-tech airborne vessel the size of a small city. Enrolled in a program known as “Operation Avian Force”, the five young adults are exposed to high-frequencies of scientifically engineered “AVIATOR Waves” (AVIATOR stands for Abnormal Voltaic Increase in Anabolism with Transcendental Optimal Response), which imbue each candidate with strange new superhuman abilities. Given access to super-powered battle suits to increase their already advanced powers, the five become the Power Rangers: Avian Force, fighting against the onslaught of the Abyssian Army, a group of aliens hell-bent on mining earth for it’s resources.
Other seasons I'm developing or thinking of developing include...
A team centered around water, tentatively titled Power Rangers: Wave Runners.
A team based on weather, tentatively titled Power Rangers: Storm Riders.
A team based on fighting the paranormal, tentatively titled Power Rangers: Phantom Fighters.
A sequel season to Virtual Troopers, tentatively titled Power Rangers: Digital Sentinels
A team of females. Probably going to use a tech/spy theme or something with that one.
A team based on a rock band, perhaps...
So...yeah. ^__^ There we go.

Hmm... If I were to do that, it would have to be a team of REFORMED villains, because...well...yeah. *giggles*
Anton Mercer (formerly Mesogog)-- Red-- I have a feeling Anton could really make up for all his wrong doings as the Red Ranger. It would be interesting to see him trying to deal with his shady past as the megolomaniac Mesogog.
Kerone (formerly Astronema)-- Yellow-- Kerone has already shown how capable of a Ranger she can be, and I really enjoyed seeing her wrestling with her past and trying to be the good person she really was. Besides, I think she'd look smashing in yellow. n.n
Jarrod (formerly Dai Shi)-- Blue-- We all know Jarrod isn't going to stay possessed by the evil Dai Shi. Heck, he's already made Dai Shi more human in the time he's been inside of him. Since Jarrod never got the chance to be an actual Ranger (although he may join forces with the JF Rangers by season's end), I think I'd like to give him a shot. And he'd probably look great in blue.
And as Rangers who join later...
Because I'm sticking with the reformed villain thing, I'll go with...
Ransik (who doesn't have a human name that I'm aweare of)-- Black-- I kinda hate Time Force, but Ransik's reformation was interesting to me. Part of me doesn't like it because it seemed like he had to become 'normal' before he could be 'good'...but, then again, his mutation did cause him constant pain, so...*shrugs* But, yeah, I guess I'd like to see a reformed Ransik as a Ranger.
Nadira-- White-- Same as her dad, really. Annoying and horrible though I felt her acting was, I would like to see what she might be capable of as a Ranger....

Lol, no Divatox? weird.
If you could make an adult version of PR more grown up so you could have more action and blood or swearing, what would you do to make it more for an older audience and what season would like to make as an mature season for adults? Also would you re-cast the same cast or pick new people?

Lol, no Divatox? weird.
Last we saw of Divatox, she was on the moon dressed up like Princess Shayla for no reason. I love my Baby Dee, but I won't cast her if I'm not quite certain of what's become of her. After all, Rita went from mistress of evil to pretty, young yuppie woman on the moon to the Mystic Mother. Who knows what The Villainess Formerly Known As Divatox could be up to at this moment? She might very well be an aerobics instructor in Boca Raton... or the Queen of the Jelly Bean people or something...
If you could make an adult version of PR more grown up so you could have more action and blood or swearing, what would you do to make it more for an older audience and what season would like to make as an mature season for adults? Also would you re-cast the same cast or pick new people?
To be perfectly honest, even if I had the opportunity to do that, I probably wouldn't. At least I wouldn't and still call it "Power Rangers". It'd maybe be "Power Rangers Presents", but I would never make it canon.
Why?
Because part of the reason I enjoy PR so much IS the somewhat childish nature of it. There is nothing remotely 'adult only' about grown ass people in brightly colored spandex. Well...that's not true, but in the sense of the show, you get my meaning. Gratuitous sex, swearing, over-the-top violence: that doesn't equal 'maturity' to me. Content is what makes a story more or less mature, and by it's very nature, I don't think PR would work if it tried to be anything other than what it is.
It's not live-action Gundam...Robotech...Neon-Genesis Evangelion... It's Power Rangers. Even Sentai isn't 'mature' with the way it does stuff.
Sentai is NOT any more mature than PR. That's a fallacy that deserves to die a fiery death. Maturity, depending on your own, is objective. Just because it has death, and blood, and romance doesn't make it 'mature'. That means it has 'adult orriented content'. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
That being said, if I could do anything to a season to perhaps up it's standards (not it's 'maturity' in terms of the non-substantial things people seem to attribute to that term), I would completely rework Operation Overdrive from the ground up. New cast, slightly revamped story, and a higher sense of action and adventure that would match or out-match it's source material, Boukenger.
I'm certainly not a Sentai Snob, but I will honestly say that I think Boukenger completely outshinned OO in terms of scope, story, and action.
But, yeah. Leave the gratiutious blood and swearing and all that jazz to low-budget Sci-Fi movies. Power Rangers is fine and dandy just the way it is to me...

Haha, well I kinda skipped all of WF so didn't see that...First time I get someone that wouldn't actually do it...
If you where asked to be a ranger in real life, which Villain would you want to battle, which PR outfit, which Ranger, which mentor and where about’s would you set it?

Haha, well I kinda skipped all of WF so didn't see that...First time I get someone that wouldn't actually do it...
*cackles* I so wanted to, but I didn't. Don't know why. I stomached the entire season, which speaks very badly of OO because I couldn't get through all of that without wanting to rake my eyes out...
The only things worth watching in WF are the episodes with Zenaku and Forever Red. Everything else is...not good. n.n
If you where asked to be a ranger in real life, which Villain would you want to battle, which PR outfit, which Ranger, which mentor and where about’s would you set it?
If I were a Ranger, I would very much like to use suits not seen in canon before...but if I simply had to be canon, I'd like to be a Dino Thunder Ranger. I adore those suits. (To be honest, I adore most suits, but DT just popped in my head).
Color-wise, I always see myself as a Blue or Green Ranger, but I've been told by people I could be Red, which is terribly flattering and makes me happy...Really, any old color would do. Even Pink...although I would never wear it. Not because I don't like the color or anything...I just don't like it on me. n.n;
Villains I'd like to battle? Um, damn near all of them. Anyone from my giant list of favorites would be awesome. Hell, I'd even fight my least favorites just to knock the stuffing out of them. I'd be really interested in fighting characters that have only made brief appearances or have only been alluded to, though... Like Master Vile, Mama D, Ivan Ooze, Gasket and Archerina, Dark Spector, etc...
I'd really like to kick the crap out of Darkonda or the Psycho Rangers, too.
Mentors? Hmm... I adore Doggie, Udonna, Dimitira, Zordon of course, any past Ranger...
Actually, I'd like Adam to mentor me...in more ways than one. ^__~
And I'd set it either in a fictional town of my own creation, or one that's really iconic...Like Angel Grove or Stone Canyon....
That's a really weird question and I just gave a really weird answer, so yay for weirdness!

-.- What about the TF/WF team up? Lol, nice mixes there, I do believe DT had the best suits IMO lol. Now to see your dark side lol.
Ok if you were a villain in PR, what kind of villain would you be? Would you have any powers?
Also we all know Villains always lose but in this case you will win, so what is your plan for destroying the Power Rangers and also which team would you like to destroy?

"Reinforcements From The Future" made my stomach hurt. Oh, lord, it was awful. SO MUCH CHEESE! AND THE PRINCESS SHAYLA SONG?! And implied Eric/Taylor?! No thank you.
Besides, if I haven't made it known before, I don't like Time Force. n.n; I like some things about it, but as a whole I reeeeally didn't like it.
And really, if I wanted Timeranger, I'd watch Timeranger. I just can't respect a season fully when I find out it's all but a carbon copy of it's source material.
I dunno...Maybe I'm being too hard on Time Force... *shrugs* Oh, well.

Y’know, if I were to be a villain, I think the part I’d most like to play is something similar to Mesogog…in other words, someone with a Jekyll/Hyde Complex.
I’d imagine I’d be like some mad scientist who suffered a terrible accident while trying to perfect an outlandish formula that my colleagues scoffed and dismissed in absolute rejection. I’d imagine the effects of this chemical concoction would not completely change me physically…but I would undergo a physical transformation (not that much different from Anton Mercer becoming Mesogog or a werewolf metamorphosing) that would grant me not only a physically imposing physique and stature, but a criminally insane, genius mind. I wouldn’t have any too many superpowers, other than outlandish strength and astronomical intelligence…but I would be a weapons master. I would have an arsenal the likes of which the world has never seen. I’d make Putin shiver in his booties. *evil laughter*
I would be ruthless in my quest…one, I’m sure, that would begin with all good intentions that would devolve over time into a mad megalomaniac scheme to conquer the world.
Oh, but don’t get me wrong: I’d be a humorous villain…because there’s nothing I like better than a villain who can make you laugh just before they f*ck your sh*t up (sort of like a mash-up of Lothor, Ivan Ooze, and Batman’s arch-nemesis, The Joker).
Some things I would do to better secure my total annihilation of the Rangers…Hmm… Oh, my foot soldiers would all attack at once instead of waiting stupidly in the background as their fellow soldiers get trounced. I wouldn’t play that MotD bullsh*t, either. I’m sending no less than five monsters out at a time. And f*ck that only attacking in the daylight bullsh*t; I’m going for around the clock, nonstop assaults spread all over the world…not just focused in one measly little Californian city.
I’d pick off the Rangers one by one…Either starting with the weakest or cutting down their leader as quickly as possible. If at all possible, I’d create dissention in their ranks to further weaken them while I mercilessly pounded them with more attacks.
And as for teams I’d love to decimate? That’s simple: Wild Force, Operation Overdrive, and muthaf*ckin’ Time Force. Oh, I would love to blow the stuffing out of all of them.

0.0 Yah...can't believe you don't like TF T.T, cool though, a lot like Mesegog/Lothor mix.
For you to think about, you think being red ranger, in other words leader, is decided by gender and/or looks, or by capacity, leadership, and/or by a good heart?

0.0 Yah...can't believe you don't like TF T.T, cool though, a lot like Mesegog/Lothor mix.
It's not really that surprising, I don't think. But I think that it's generally a fandom-wide praised season, so...*shrugs* Just not my personal taste at all. Felt like it was trying too hard while not trying hard enough...I know that doesn't make sense, but yeah.
And I love me some Mesogog and Lothor, so that's exactly what I was hoping for.
For you to think about, you think being red ranger, in other words leader, is decided by gender and/or looks, or by capacity, leadership, and/or by a good heart?
As I said in the “Female Red” question: a person’s gender really has nothing to do with whether or not they have the capacity to lead, in my opinion.
I actually view casting my fan-made Rangers as if I were Sorting them into different Hogwart’s Houses…these houses just so happen to be Ranger colors. Most colors seem to always have unifying traits that are present in nearly every Ranger to don that color. Green Rangers are usually quirky and humorous. Blue Rangers are usually the intelligent logical ones-- always cool and calm. Pink Rangers…some are really girly (Kim and Syd), others are sort of tomboys (Cassie, Vida, Kendrix). Yellow Rangers… males are typically oddballs and the females are usually the more athletic type of girl.
Red Rangers. With them, I’ve always thought the most outstanding traits are courage, headstrongness, and tenacity-- traits that I know for a fact a female can definitely possess.
So, yeah. For me, color and gender have no correlation and all Color Designations should be open to ALL potential Rangers.
Female Red Rangers would really work for any sort of theme, too. From Magic to Tech, I think it would be an easy fit. Tech seasons, or paramilitary/military seasons seem like the easiest way to begin integrating in the idea of a Female Red leader, though, because in that sort of situation, it appears the playing field is even because women can reach higher levels of authority in such circumstances.
And most Red Rangers have been quite physically attractive (particularly Leo, Andros, Tommy, T.J., Connor, Cole, and Carter)...Then again, Rangers usually all have that fresh-faced innoncence to them that I find attractive, so I don't know about that. I think you can find something attractive in just about anyone, though.
But, yeah. All Red Rangers are special in a way that no one can really put into words. I guess that’s part of their mystique and why they’ve always unequivocally been seen as the immediate leader of their team.

Wow, that's a really nice answer :p, funny how we think so much alike.
Would you ever like to see a ranger go evil? Like is the villain in a new season?
If so which one and why? What do you think would make a ranger want to be a bad guy and fight for evil?
Or a ranger chose the side of evil half way though and season and stick with it, like they where betrayed or something else?

While I am intrigued by the idea of a Ranger going bad...it would have to be done a certain way, as I don't think it would work for every season. And if it were be done to the maginitude of which we're implying here, it would have to be done flawlessly.
See, I can see how an entire team could go rogue in a setting like SPD, as it's an organization that doesn't discriminate in terms of personality or anything like that. It was all about skill and proficiency there. A season like that featuring an evil Ranger or Rangers would really work, I think.
Another option could be a Ranger or Rangers acting on misinformation, perhaps fed to them by the true bad guy of the season. In an instance like that, I think it would work quite well.
A betraying Ranger would have to be done flawlessly, or I'd have major issues with it, because the very idea is very unRanger-y, in the traditional sense. I see a lot of people try to incorporate this idea into their fan works, but often it just leaves the work feeling like some manga-esque romp other than a Power Rangers' story. Bad Rangers have been done the way they have for reasons I would think are obvious to fans: the very title of being a Power Ranger means you're infused with goodness. You are a champion for light, not a minion of darkness. So, if we're talking about any other theme other than tech/military/police, I couldn't see an Evil Ranger working that well... I am still intrigued by the idea, though.
Also, if they were to do something with an Evil Ranger (as I kind of hope to do one day)-- one that turns evil mid-season or something of that nature-- I would probably suggest they do it like the character Mandarin from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go...in which case, I would eat it right up.
That's all I have for this question right now, but if anyone wants me to expound on it later, I will most certainly try. n.n

I love the title. I think it was an intentional nod, wink, and a nudge towards similarly named Kaiju/Sentai toku themed shows.
Which Power Rangers season had the best opening to a season and ending? What makes a good opening and Ending in your opinion?
For me that would have to be a tie between In Space and Dino Thunder, for both instances.
In Space: Fresh off the heals of the destruction wrought in Turbo, In Space's first episode was incredible and action packed. And it goes without saying just how impactful C2D was to any real Ranger fan.
Dino Thunder:The begining was a shocker for me (this was before I had discovered the fandom, so I was completley surprised) and the ending was so good it made me cry. Everything in between was kickass, too. n.n
Other honorable mentions are Ninja Storm and SPD. And, what the hey, I'll throw Lost Galaxy and Mystic Force in there for good measure.

Oh, I get that look all the time. I actually find it hilarious.
Is there an episode of Power Rangers that you do not like? Or is there something else in PR that annoys you?
Oooh, I've been waiting for this question. I just hope I don't step on any toes with this one.
For me, right now, the thing I hate the most about Power Rangers is the fandom itself.
Now, this isn't a "I hate everyone" thing, because there are quite a few exceptions to the rule...but, for the most part, this fandom, almost more than any other I've ever witnessed, is full of the most annoying, hypocritical, stupid, sexist, homophobic, thoughtless, egotistical, backwards, stuck-up, childish, and-- most of all-- fickle people. And I mean, they are fickle and finicky over the most petty of things!
"OMG DISNEY SUX!"
"OMG SABAN DID IT BETTER!"
"OMG TOO MANY EXPLOSIONS" (this one coming from someone who praised Michael Bay's film making skills...yeeeeah.)
"OMG SUPER SENTAI IS BETTER!"
"OMG GIRLS CAN'T BE RED!"
"OMG LILY SHOULD TAKE OFF HER CLOTHES!"
The fandom is full of all manner of atrocious people with tiny little brains and most days I question why the heck I'm still active in it to begin with. I guess it's become a habit now...one I'm afraid to break because if I do, I won't really have anyone to talk PR with and I do enjoy the fanart and some of the fan-fic things that go on in the fandom, so I pretty much stay for that.
And the fanbase is so quick to snub shot-outs to the fanbase... Forever Red, Once A Ranger, or Mystic Mother discussions always devolve into madness because people just can't not look a gift horse in the mouth. And, yes, that was a double-negative. Yes, it was intentional.
I'm just so turned-off by a lot of the things I see happening on the boards, a lot of the people I've bumped into, and certain instances and individuals (who shall remain nameless) who seem to lack the cognitive skills of a common garden slug. It was fun when I first discovered it... Now, I'm slowly realizing that being here as often as I am almost ruins the experience for me instead of enriching it the way it was meant to.

Oh, you're fine. I don't count you among the numerous people who make me want to throw myself headfirst into oncoming traffic. n.n
And there really aren't any singular episodes in particular that I can point out...but there were several instances in Time Force, Wild Force, and Opperation Overdrive when I literally had to force myself to keep watching, it was so awful.
Which was your favorite ranger from each season? And only one, not two one you have to pick one! Just want to make it harder for you :p And why them?..wow this one's going to be extremely hard for you.
Indeed it is... So hard, in fact, that the way I'm going to answer it has to be tailored to this instance.
Since I usually don't have singular favorites from each season, I'm just going to go off of who I am fondest of at this particular moment.
MMPR S1- Kimberly. I think I've already expressed just how much I adore her, so that's kind of a no-brainer.
MMPR S2- Adam. Again, we've been over this. I adore Adam an absurd ammount. He's amazing.
MMPR S3- Aisha. Because, yeah, I freaking love Aisha...as I've said before. n.n
MMAR- Delphine. Awesome female White Ranger. I thought she was nifty.
Zeo- Tanya. I don't give a good damn what no one says, I adore Tanya. She was a great Ranger.
NOTE: It really was a toss up between Rocky and Tanya today, as I really am loving both of them right now.
Turbo (1st Half)- Tommy. Only because, for some weird reason, the Racecar Driver thing really worked well for him.
Turbo (2nd Half)- Cassie. Again, we've gone over just how much I adore her. It's gettin' redundant at this point. n.n But, yeah, AMAZING Ranger.
In Space- Andros. He...what can there be said about him that hasn't already been said? I love him and his weird stripey hair.
NOTE: Again, came down to a toss up between T.J. and Andros today and Andros just happened to come out on top.
Lost Galaxy- Leo. OMG, yes, Leo. I...I can't even speak on how much I love Leo right now. Just know that, um, I love Leo. n.n;
NOTE: Came down to him, Kai,Kendrix and Karone. Was a REEEAAALLY tough call.
Lightspeed- Carter. Used to hate him, grew to love him. Now I adore him. Great Ranger all around.
NOTE: Close call among Carter, Dana, and Ryan, but I had to go with Carter for now.
Time Force- If I have to have a favorite, I'm going with Katie. I adored the idea of her character-- a superstrong girl with a heart of gold.
NOTE: Not difficult at all, seeing as the only two Rangers from that season I even remotely like are Katie and Trip.
Wild Force- Alyssa, without a doubt. She's the only one who didn't make me want to stab someone in the face. Cole was nice to look at, but when he spoke-- good lord, no.
Ninja Storm- Ah, now we're getting back to the hard stuff. This is a ridiculously difficult question, because I loved all of the NS Rangers. But, for today, I'll go with Tori. She was the exemplary embodiment of how a female Ranger should be, in my opinion.
Dino Thunder- HORRIBLY HARD QUESTION! Oh my goodness. I love ALL of the Rangers from this season, but if I just have to have a place-holder for a 'favorite', today I'll go with Ethan. A Brainy Blue in homage to Billy, Ethan brought a certain attitude (i.e., the witty gamer) to the archetype that really made me love him.
SPD- Oh, lord, this hurts! I adored all of the SPD Rangers, but today I've got to go with Jack. Oh, I love Jack so much.
NOTE: Obviously, this was a toughie. Came down to Sky and Jack for the 'top spot', though.
Mystic Force- Chip. I loved all of the Rangers, but Chip just instantly clicked with me. Cute, goofy geek of a character AND a hot Ginger to boot? Sign me up.
NOTE: Vida comes in close second today.
Operation Overdrive DO I HAVE TO?! Oh, lord. If I must, I'll say Rose. Only because I adore brainy characters...even if they apparently have the personality of a five year old girl who's seen way too much Dora The Explorer.
Jungle Fury- RIDICULOUSLY difficult question. I really do love all of the Rangers, but today I have to go with RJ. Because he's freakin' RJ...and I would sop him up with a biscuit and wash him down with a tall glass of "Break Me Off A Piece'a THAT!"
NOTE: Lily was in a dead-heat with him today, but RJ won out in the end.
RPM- Don't know, we haven't seen it yet, and the cast is only slowly being revealed....
Yes, this was horribly hard, but I got through it. n.n;
