If Another Former Ranger Came Back Full-Time, What Profession Should They Have?

You know how every year we get those annoying, "[Insert old ranger] is coming back for [New Season]!" rumors? Well if PR was to bring back another former ranger, like say Aisha or Carlos or TJ, what job should they have? I ask as because as we all (or most of us should) know, Tommy's race-car days (Turbo) were abandoned in favor of being a paleontology professor in Reefside (DT), Adam at some point stop doing the stuntman thing (Turbo) and now runs a Dojo (OO) and Tori apparently no longer works at Academy anymore (NS) and now runs a Surfboard shop (OO).

Hopefully we won't get another Paleontology Professor, cause I didn't like that idea for Tommy. It might work for other people though. I'd like to see one own a business or be a teacher of some sort, maybe even a figure in local politics. Some sort of positive role in society. That'd be a good role model.

Say if it were Kim, she should come back as either a gymnastic trainer or athlete

If it were Zack, I would say a choregapher(sp) or Dance club owner, something in that field.

Adam has his own Dojo, it would be cool if he returned as a trainer to new set of rangers. Maybe that would be best for a MMPR reboot(like that's likely)

That's pretty much how I saw it. Tommy obviously wasn't a professional race car driver or he wouldn't need High School.
But the Power Rangers always convince the kids to stay in school! :)

Skilled race car driving AND a degree in Paleontology being classed as 'just shopping around' seems a bit of a wide stretch to be honest.

You misunderstand.

Did anything state he raced a car for more than maybe a month after the power transfer? No.

He can race cars over the rest of that summer, and then go to school for paleontology in the fall. He didn't have to be a professional race car driver for the entire time up until PRDT. He was just a young adult palling around with his uncle. Racing cars was never going to be a serious career choice for him.

Besides, he probably didn't need months of training to learn to race cars. Ranger power teaches the Ranger to use zord technology, and the Turbozords were giant cars with similar controls. I can accept Tommy being an awesome race car driver for six months or so because he was calling upon his Ranger technology to help him out, only to come to a harsh realization about the difficulty of doing it professionally once he gives the power to TJ.

I say never make one a teacher, or at least think about the character before you give them a job(unlike Disney)

As for Tori, I don't want her back, just because we haven't had much time away from her. As far as her new job, who's to say she is still not working at the school? She may have just lessened her time at the school. We know they had lives outside of the school.


As for who do I want back, Justin. He would not be too old(actually, just about 3 years younger than Tommy in Dino Thunder) but he would be around the same age as the other rangers.

I say Justin would be a Computer programer. That way, his work would not take up all of his time, and he could work out of a comand base. Also it would explain the comand base, and all of the technology.
