Welcome Chriz, thank you for your time. This interview will consist of 15 questions or more.

This interview should be completed within a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.

Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.

I think I have covered everything so let us begin :D

Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

Hi, Never been interviewed before except by the police :D


I wish had some great story like, As a child my parents were killed so I wanted vengeance, I climbed the himalayan mountains and begain training in a secret martial arts temple by holy monks who named me "chriz" it means "The brave warrior" in there language.

But I don't LOL My user name is pretty simple really. It's my First name with the "s" changed to a "z" as it looks cooler.

Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.

My top 5 in order are :



MMPR season 1 - Great season, It started it all, Green with evil is my favourite episodes ever. "Island of Illusion" was great, "Return of an Old Friend" was also great. great seaon

MMPR season 2 - Lord Zedd pre-marriage = best villain power rangers has ever had. "Return of the Green Ranger" was awesome with White vs Green. The power transfer got rid of Zack and Jason (never liked) and gave us better characters. Great season.

Dino thunder - Tommy returns, Evil White ranger , Legacy of Power , Fighting spirit , Dino thunder vs Ninja Storm , Lost & Found in Translation was just genius, The zords were cool. It the first season to really have me wanting to see in years.

Time Force - Felt more mature a bit with the the story lines , I loved Nadira , Ransik was very, very well thought out. Jen was a great strong leader, Wes was the best red ranger ever. It was cool.

Zeo - I wish it had real end but still, Jason as gold made me actually like him as seemed to have grown a personality, Tommy finding his brother was a great story. "King for a Day" was cool. Kat was awesome (my favourite pink) Rocky got some personality, Tommy and Kat hooking up was cool too. I liked it.

A great evil is loose. It's your job to construct a ranger team. Out of all the rangers available from all the different Power Ranger/Sentai seasons, which ones would you want on the team? These can be from each season and you can have whoever you like, so Five Rangers one Sixth ranger Or SPD style and have 8.
In addition, why you would chose them as well, what makes them good enough?

I suppose you want more sophisticated answers than say " Kat - pink zeo - reason = she's hot." LOL

I'm choosing Five Rangers one Sixth ranger as that's the best way in my honest opinion.


Adam - Black MMPR - Adam is a great Fighter and is more than capable of coming back to team up. He is just great character and he shows real dedication in his fights.

Jen - Pink Timeforce : She may not be my favourite pink but she is the best pink in terms of planning and strength and would be a great asset to any team.

Billy - Blue MMPR - His intelligence is a great assist for the team, He is a great fighter, He has real heart as shown in the past and if need be could rise to been leader if anything happened to the leader.

Kira - Yellow Dino Thunder - Kira is my favourite yellow. She was a great character plus has worked with some of my team before which would add to the team work factor.

Wes - Red Time foce - best red ranger ever. He was willing to almost been killed with out powers to stop an army of bad guys. That is exactly what I would want on my team.

[Leader] Tommy - Green MMPR - Leader and picked as he is the greatest ranger of all time, there is no disputing that fact. Green had the best costume and Zord too so that's why I picked that powers.



I notice now my team is 50% MMPR but that's because they are the best. I would have adam as green zeo but that would clash with green tommy, I could make Tommy red Zeo but then I loose Wes so yeah.

And yes I arranged in to "Black , pink , blue , yellow , red , green" like the MMPR morphing order LOL

Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favorite? Why is it your favorite? What has made it your favorite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.

Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favorite? Why is it your favorite? What has made it your favorite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.

Mine would have to be "Thunder Storm" the dino thunder / ninja storm team-up. I just think it was really cool concept and more unique than other team-ups as it had the previous season reaturning but as bad guys.

DT vs NS, 3 on 3 un-morphed fight was cool as was all the fights in the episode. I just thought it was really well done and diffrent to the normal "old help new for one episode" thing that most team-ups are.

Green Samurai Ranger and White dino Ranger teaming up was just awesome as I love those two and it seemed like an "Oh my god" moment that the episode(s) was filled with.

Thunder Rangers and Black dino teaming up was great too. I got a kick out of that thinking "huh ex-evil rangers team up!" It was pretty cool seeing that.

Tori was back, I like her and not just because she's hot I think her and Kira and awesome characters, Best of the Disney girls for sure and it was cool having them in the episodes together (something I loved in once a ranger)

In Power Rangers, we are seeing a lot more Rangers with genetic powers, which one that appeared in the show would you want and why? What would you do with it? Would you use it for personal gain? Would you tell anyone about your gift?

That's easy. Invisibility. I admit there is no heroic reason, I would use it to go in the girl's locker room at my local gym, Sneak in to movies in the cinema so I never have to pay, I could pretty much take anything I want from a shop with out ever been caught. Walk in to a bank and just watch the number they type in on safe then steal me a lot of cash.

Plus Invisibility is great for practical jokes e.g make some ones ice cream float in the air then randomly hit them in face, Pull peoples pants down in just the most inappropriate times e.g job interviews. Also I turn on a security camera go invisible and move things and send it in to one of those ghost shows to get alot of money.


Yes I would use it for perverted reasons , stealing and pretty much just screwing with people for the hell of it LOL does that make me a bad person?

Out of all the Rangers who is your favorite and why what is so great about them? Did they do anything that you really liked about them more? Would you change anything about them?

Tommy. From the second he entered he was just cool. It was like there someone in the mighty morphin team who was as skilled as Jason but actually had personality. His costume as green is the best ranger costume IMO, The dragon dagger was awesome as was dragonzord.

Then he moved on to white and was still as cool but started to lead and proved he was the best leader any power rangers team had had. He wasn't as hands off as most leaders he was the type who wouldn't get his team in to any fight he couldn't handle himself that was great.

Then we get Zeo and still cool but also deeper as his back story gets expanded and he learns about his heritage. Admittedly Turbo did not add much except show his bravery from green days was still there when he jumped in after Kat to save her. plus he lead forever red which was a good team he put together.


Dino thunder years later he again was still (I see him like i said as the fonz of power rangers as everything he does was cool) but they add a level of maturity to him when he becomes a great mentor to a new generation. So over the years he had more character development than anyone but was still a great ranger and the best there will ever be.

Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?

I saw a few episodes of Zyuranger but that's about it. I would watch it if I could find online with subtitles where i didn't need to get a big torrent file, or if i find a whole subbed season on dvd on ebay. But over-all no I haven't seen any :(

I remember when it first came out here and thought it was pretty cool. I admit i didn't really start to love though till "Green with evil" It was like there was the show and it was ok then give us green with evil and it's like a big noise that made me pay attention and in a very cool and refreshing way.

As up until that point there wasn't many or any kids shows on where a bad guy joined the good side. It was a cool concept and helped keep in to it. Then my intrest was just starting to fade Zedd came in and then my intrest didn't fade till second half of turbo with T.J and the rest that was horrible but it picked up again with space.


I guess I'm trying to say until recent ones my (with spd-oo not intresting me except one a ranger) my intrest fades but with in a few episodes they do something to get me to pay attention again.


PR merchandise wise my first pr merchandise I bought was the green ranger with head fliping. i bought it on holiday one year before it came out here, one week or two after i got back it was out here too LOL funny thing is i bought that again reconditely off e-bay still in box with the other 5 original ones just for collecting

Ah, awesome, same here with trying to stay eventhough I don't like a lot of the resent seasons..

SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.

I have no problem with a female red ranger. I think disney should wait for Sentai though as look at MMPR with Trini. It seemed silly how she stopped looking female when morphed. Now if disney made their own version of the red costume for a female so it looked female then cool.


The other factor I think is the type of female. I mean for example Kim from MMPR couldn't really lead well as she was a bit of an airhead. Jen from Time force however was a strong female character and would be great as red. But this is not just exclusive to females

The ranger at all needs to be a good strong leader Imo. Jason (even i hate him), Tommy , Andros and more all good. but Casey from Jungle fury , Jack s.p.d and some others didn't have what it took IMO to be leaders.


So yeah I have no problem as long as it's not cast as any other female ranger but cast as actual leader.

Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?

The first transfer with Jason , Trini and Zack : I was sad to see Trini go but I actually prefered all 3 replacements. They all had in my honest opinion more personality than the three they replaced. So I was happy as I hated Zack and Jason so that was cool.


Kim for Kat : This was a hard one to take at first as I really kim and of course what it meant to the Tommy/Kim relationship. But it gave us Kat who grew into her own and was a better character I thought.


Aisha for Tanya : this was pointless as Tanya was just a worse version of Aisha and just bland character IMO.

Rocky for Justin : Does anyone like this? LOL

Turbo Transfer : This was the worst. We lost 3 great rangers in Tommy , Adam and Kat. and we gained 4 people who were horrible in Turbo. T.J is imo the worst red ranger (maybe tied with Jason) I hated this and still hate this to this day. Even more so with how space ended. It would have meant more with Tommy , Adam and Kat on the space team (so Andros would be blue replacing justin) as it ended the Zordon era but with no one who was in MMPR on the team? BS

I do, But he's ok from zeo on as he get's personality, However i still wish Tommy had not caught him in the turbo movie when he fell towards the lava LOL

My favourite Villain (not including evil rangers) Is Lord Zedd as he was just bad ass when he first came in. It's like ok here is rita a crazy witch with an annoying voice ....... Here is Lord Zedd, He looks evil as hell, He sounds evil as hell and when he appeared first thing he did was blow the megazord up. That's just awesome I always loved that.


The villain I hate the most is Lothor, He was a retard in my opinion. Remember how I described Zedd? well Lothor looks retarded, he sounds retarded and his main plan of "oh let's allow the rangers to kill all my monsters" seems like the dumbest idea since "new coke"


The villain I think beat the rangers more then any other = Dark Specter. He idea of basically saying " F**K sending one villain at time" and launching one full scaled attack with Rita , Zedd , Machine empire and more all at once would have ended it right there. Zordon had to sacrifice himself to stop it.

Now how many villains plans have been so great that someone like Zordon had to destroy himself (well andros helped) in order to create a big enough wave of energy to save everyone? None of them. This was the greatest one they had done.

In fact I wouldn't mind if Disney did a similar one soon uniting Ninja Storm - Jungle fury villains under one leader that would be pretty damn awesome.

5 later + 1. Now don't get me wrong 3 + 2 still works just not as well. 5 + 1 allows 5 rangers to be built up to the point that when the 6th one choices to join it does not effect them.

Take Green tommy or even Gold Jason for example. They came in later and they gained powerful rangers 5 needing one makes that one look more powerful or skilled but also allows the 1 to be built up with no loss of the 5.


Ninja storm however the thunder rangers pretty much stole the focus once introduced then as the focus was going back Cam took it. So Torri was the only one from originals who got any focus and that's because she was doing a thunder.


Dino Thunder found balance between the two with tommy been added quick but since he was there from start no focus was gone as much, Then Trent came in and took the focus for a little as expected but by the end the focus was back on 3 originals. Perfect mixture


So yeah as well as making the 6th look more valuable it also helps out the established ones by not stealing their focus. To me that is much better as the 3 then 2 normally doesn't work like Ninja storm or Jungle fury (yes I said it but after new rangers it hurt the 3 originals IMO)

Yeah but after a season when he chose to be White. first season when he was introduced (since after mmpr its one season per series) he didn't he took some focus but gave it back to them by leaving in green candle. It wasn't as bad.

He stole it season 2 because he was poular and 3 originals were leaving. It made sense.

Now that's a tough one as it's the multiple elements combing I love. :



As a comic fan ever since I can remember the superhero part of the show really helped pull me in. Coincidently Power rangers now is the only live action Super hero show with costumes (smallville has none) Which is cool. But yeah the bright coloured tights , the secret Identities pulling weapons out of no where , The morphing it's all very comic-booky (that's a word right?)


The other thing I was really in to as a kid was Transformers. The Zords that transformers vibe to them Which I loved (now I've gotten bored of them for the most part) But hell even the original Megazord looked like Optimus Prime which that it's self was cool


Another huge show for me as a kid was Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (uk name for original cartoon) and the beating up putties was like turtles vs foot soldiers. The diffrent colour = diffrent character and the diffrent weapons and marital arts was very Turtles feeling to me.



So I guess my favourite aspect is the combination of diffrent things I love to form one entity. I know that me a cop-out of sorts but that is my favourite part of the show. I love it for it.

Well in Zeo it was like...Tommy based as well..and awesome, never actually thought of those shows relating to PR.

If you could create a Power Ranger season what kind of PR would you have, where would it be set, what year, what color be the leader, how many rangers? What would the villain be like?

That's a tough one but here we go.


If I did a season :


Time : Modern day.

Zords : Cars

Leader colour = Red


However mine would need to be more grounded in realism and yes I would aim it for older fans as well as somewhat to younger fans too. The reason I picked cars as a theme for zords is like I’ve mentioned before on this board I think cars have the most room for realistically been around. Teenagers can have a car and if it’s a proper real looking car (so more transformers than the next season that’s coming up) no one would think twice about it.


The bad guy I would like is either A new version of Lord Zedd, The Zedd one would be explained by the evil that left Zedd thanks to Z-wave was transported into the body of someone else. I see this person having multiple personalities and even arguing with Zedd at times like the green goblin in Spider-man.


This gives the vibe of an old bad guy while been new as well. This also serves another purpose which I’ll explain in a second.

The ranger colours would be same as MMPR season 1 with Green been evil and joining team later on for old times sake as well (plus another reason)


This builds up to 4 Part episode called “Mighty Morphing Madness” or something to that effect which would both be the season final and to mark an landmark (years or episodes)

Part 1 – New Zedd goes back in time to help Old Zedd beat the power rangers. The new guys travel back in time to stop it leading to team-up of new rangers and original rangers. The originals would be morphed the whole time but voiced by originals.

Part 2 ends with the monster 2 Zedds create been destroyed and new Zedd going back to our time. Our rangers will follow. New Zedd will make a speech about how original rangers were as good as our rangers.

He then brings : Adam (he has black powers in OO), Kimberly , Billy , Aisha (since Trini is impossible), Jason (since he still has rocky’s coin in forever red) and Tommy from our time in front of him and restores the original powers and turns rangers evil.

Part 3 : Our rangers face the evil originals with each fighting their colour and pretty much getting their ass handed to them. I see these fights though been in separate locations and cut together (like how they cut between yoda vs darth sidious and Obi vs Darth vader in Episode III)


Part 4 Our Team finally helps the originals turn good and the now 12 rangers face and destroy Lord Zedd, I even see the old Zords and new Zords combining to make the Ultimate zord (this way kids can buy the original rangers and zords with new ones in shops) The evil that is Zedd is gone forever and with him his power he gave to restore originals (so originals are now powerless again and can move on)

Big celebration with new guys and originals celebrating.



I know the season seems a bit weird both been more realistic but also been basically a big fan service but that’s what I’d do.

Wow, that is REALLY good!, you should really concider making a fan-fic about it, it's amazingly well thought out.

If you could create a Power Ranger team made up of Villains who and why?

Zedd as the Red ranger, Now he's good that would be great plus Human Zedd walking around in alot of red , How could that not be cool

Karone as Pink ranger. I'm assuming this is for a special and she was the pink ranger before. It makes sense to have to have her there. With out her it would be like doing forever red without Jason or Rocky.

Dr. Anton Mercer as Black ranger. This is because I think you need a Disney villain and he seems the best disney villain so this could be really cool to see him finally become a ranger like his friend and son.

Trakeena as Blue ranger. I just really really liked Trakeena and her and Astronema on one would be pretty cool to see as they have a lot in common as villains they should have a lot as good guys.

Jarrod as Yellow ranger. He was Dai Shi and so never got to be the ranger he was meant to be so I think he should get the chance to be a ranger and would be a pretty great asset as a ranger.

Ransik as The White (Extra) ranger. He was a great fighter and lets face it Ransik and Zedd on one team could be just so awesome it's not funny. Put him as an extra ranger as he's in the future so having a mystery ranger show up and everyone try to guess who he is only for it to be discovered as Ransik come from the future to help them could be cool

If you could make an adult version of PR more grown up so you could have more action and blood or swearing, what would you do to make it more for an older audience and what season would like to make as an mature season for adults? Also would you re-cast the same cast or pick new people?

In a heartbeat I would. I think it might be too hard to introduce a new season and have it be adult so I think a remake/reboot would be best. Here is how I would do it :

Power rangers (nothing before of after just a simple name)

Theme song = something that’s hero-ish but not too childlike. E.g. “Stay Strong” by Newsboys where it has a serious vibe to it. Here is an edited version of the song someone used for something else that I think works http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WYxGL0aFNlc


Zordon = Zór–Dón an old scientist who died many years ago but made a holographic program of himself to help guide the Rangers. He would be an intelligent hologram like the doctor in star trek voyager. Sure he would loose some of the human quality but it would help make it more realistic and explain things like why he disappears if the power is cut (as he did in MMPR yet in space his face was there with no energy?)

Alpha 5 = Alpha , Forget the 5 business I would make him a more human looking robot. Like a cross between c3po from star wars and data from star trek. However been that he is a prototype and more won’t be made (he was created as Zór–Dón’s assistant) he is still wisecracking but now it’s more of a darker sarcastic sense of humour.


Zords = I would loose them completely as on a tv show like this aimed at teens-adults I always think if you can’t do something right (it would need transformers realistic style for zords) then just don’t go there. It’s that simple.


Costumes = Helmet would be toned down to look more Motor bike style helmet, The rest would be more of a dark black leather like X-men style with a stripe going down the left or right side with their respected colour.

Bulk and Skull = Still called the same but they would be less comical as they would be actual bullies who start to bully Billy. They would only be background characters though appearing every now and again but not too much.

Lt Stone – He would actually be seen as a bad guy of sorts. He would see the teens disappearing right before disasters and think they were somehow connected to the problems and would be there as someone trying to catch them out.


Tommy – I would introduce him in the second episode and keep there as a non-ranger friend for the first season so it is more shocking when he becomes evil green.

Tommy/Kim – I wouldn’t hook them up straight away. In fact I want Tommy to really try to get together but they won’t kiss until last episode of season 1 as Kim would be dating someone else


Kim – I would change kim a little to make her the airhead spoiled type but when she becomes a ranger she would distance her self from the popular group and loose her friends over it. She would be dating in season 1 the star football player in Angel grove high.

Kim’s boyfriend – The star football player. He is their manly as an obstacle for Tommy to try and overcome to get with Kim. I picked football player as there was an episode in MMPR where Tommy tried out. I would keep that as him trying out to get Kim but the boyfriend knows that so when he tries out it’s hell (he doesn’t have powers)


Jason – I would give more personality too. It maybe unpopular but one thing I would add is that he is stressed from everyone expecting him to lead them to victory. As result he wants to be the best possible ranger from how they make him feel he has to be and gets an addiction to drugs like steroids (it would be solved by end of the first year but there it is)

Zack – Loosing the dancing when fighting seriously. In fact I would use that change to parody original by having an episode have Zack been put under spell forcing him to dance (a fun episode) and having him say at the end “You guys have no idea how hard it is to dance and fight , I won’t be trying that again”

Rita – No longer an old hag with a horrible voice. I would make her a young hot looking sorceress similar to Azkadellia in “Tin Man” this is to update to something that works better today as apposed to been an evil old hag on a kids show.

Zed – I’m going to change him the most but keep the same the most too. What I mean is season 1 + 2 he would be shown as a normal business man with a real name who was a master of the crime world like Lex in superman. How ever I’m going to have him try to threaten the green ranger when he’s evil and have the green ranger seriously mess him and leave him for dead.

Once that has happened Rita’s goons would rebuild him as Lord Zedd in a similar fashion to Darth Vader and give him powers like Rita’s (this is after Rita has been killed and her ghost would be instructing it.) This leads to the Zedd we knew in MMPR before he was married but with evil more hatred for the rangers (Tommy a personal hatred for like seemed to have in the show)



Here is how I see the first few seasons been :

S1 – this is an introduction in to this world and what the rangers are.
Tommy kim will they won’t they story
Jason’s drug addiction
Introduce human Zedd

Tone : Serious but fun at the same time
Main villain : Rita


S2 – Tommy becomes the Evil green ranger
Kim is devastated and think they may need to kill tommy
Jason becomes a stronger leader
Billy and Trini hook up (I think they would be a sweet couple
Jason vs Tommy = a whole episode fight that’s very brutal (like Spike vs Angel in Angel season 5)
Human Zedd is hurt badly
Tone : darker than season 1
Main villain – Tommy (like Angelus in Buffy)


Season 3 – The rise of Zedd!
Jason learns to trust Tommy
Kim and Tommy get back together
Zack’s Father dies sending him down a depressing road.
Billy and Trini have sex for the first time
Tone = A little lighter than 2 but still dark
Main villain – Zedd

Season 4 – This season would be about Lt Stone discovering the truth and learning to accept it.
Billy beats up Bulk and Skull and is arrested
Zack learns that his Father didn’t die and is now a villain (Knasty Knight!)
Trini starts to develop feelings for Jason (setting up the inevitable love triangle)
Tommy’s loosing his powers (Zedd does something to him before he dies)
Kimberly wins homecoming queen which she’s shocked about due to been unpopular now
Tone = Fun like season 1 with a bit more teen angst.
Main villain = Ivan Ooze (he seems great for a remake tv show)

After that high school is over and they go to college (yes Tommy loosing powers is to bring in White ranger in college years.)



Episodes and seasons would be done like Buffy / Smallville episodes in the villain of the week but the focus been more on a “big bad” main villain and personal storylines.

I would like to battle a strong main villain like Zedd, This is just because it would be a challenge and therefore it would be more fun. My outfit would be the original green ranger outfit (Honestly who didn't see that pick coming? LOL :o) Just because in my opinion it looks the best plus Green is my second favourite colour (first is black)

The Mentor I would want Tommy. Sure Zordon is a better mentor but been in the original green outfit and been trained by the greatest ranger of all time who also wore the outfit would have a cool almost Obi-wan training Luke vibe to it.

Location , England. Why? I live in England and don't want to have to fly 9 hours to america every time there is a monster attack as in order for me to do that I would need a timetable printed up "Sorry Zedd 8am doesn't work for me, How about 6pm?" LOL doesn't have that same vibe to it. I know this is a bad reason but the rangers haven't teleported in years so that's gone.

I would love to be an Evil ranger. Now Specter's plan is the best however I know I would be as strong as him so after rangers are gone all the villains I team up would turn on me (they are not nice people :p) Plus Chriz doesn't play well with others.

So my strategy would be that of the Green Goblin from Spider-man comics. Since rangers don't teleport any more , I would follow them home and learn who they were under the costume. Then kidnap and most likely kill the people closest to them. That gets inside their head and makes the team distracted. Then it's a matter of picking them off one by one most likely starting with red as that's leader so that effects team even more.

The team I would go after would be Turbo after transfer (though they teleport I will have to adjust plan a bit for that) because I don't like any of that team at all. Or Operation overdrive for the same reason , I just do not like anyone on that team so killing them would be fun.


Of course after the rangers are gone other rangers would come after me like kill Turbo get Zeo , kill Operation overdrive get every team before them after me. But that time I've done my damage and could get a General Zod like complex telling other rangers "KNEEL BEFORE CHRIZ" , Ahhh good times :D

Honestly I have no idea. Here is why :



Gender : Two females have lead teams before just not as red. When they did red was just a colour.

looks : Well they have two different extremes in Turbo as red with ; Tommy native American / White, With long ass hair to T.J black and bald. To opposites both red.

leadership : Rocky wasn't leader plus T.J was horrible leader. This disprooves leadership.

good heart : Mack was an android so he didn't even have a heart and since he wasn't built to be a ranger that stops that theory straight away.

Skill : Too many rookies for it to be skill




So when I think about it I'll have to say it's just fate. No one could be red unless they were destined to do so. Tommy as a kid in season 3 saw a painting of Zeo 5's helmet on the cave wall meaning he was destined , Leo happened to be their to get the sword of his brother and pulled it out later meaning he was destined, Shane in Ninja storm was destined according to the scroll. The dino gem chose conner.

So it maybe a co-out but I think it's all just destiny even the people who switched powers Rocky and T.J, fate made them be in the right place to save Tommy as T.J did, Or to help out the rangers as Rocky did. It's all fate.

Which Power Rangers season had the best opening to a season and ending? What makes a good opening and Ending in your opinion?


Episodes :

Best opening in my opinion was mighty morphin power rangers. I loved the ancient evil has escaped and now Zordon has to get 5 teenagers to ave the world. After that they all felt similar so to me the first one when you didn't know what to expect was the best.


Best ending in my opinion was space with countdown to destruction. It was just a great ending to IMO the best era of power rangers, The show could have ended at that point and I would have been sad it ended but happy at how complete the ending felt.


Best start and ending in one season = Timeforce. It started great and ended really great. The ending showed how much they had developed characters and even had the main villain turn good on his own no Z-wave or anything but he made his own choice.



Theme music and credits :

opening = MMPR the greatest power rangers theme song that even now I still love hearing

end credits = Zeo , I loved the out-takes at the end.


Both = Zeo the song was damn good and the out-takes make it pretty cool.

One particular episode (was going to say the entire mystic force and a few other seasons that i hate lol) I'll go with the S.P.D episode "Wormhole" as the one that annoys me the most. It's not that it is a very bad episode it's the fact they have Adult Tommy played by someone other than Jason David Frank. Kid Tommy I can understand and that's cool but adult wise as long as Jason David Frank is alive if he is unable to do it then DO NOT have him in the episode.

What makes it worse is it was set during Dino Thunder. There was plenty of opportunity to have it set during the time frame with out him. E.g off the top of my head how about when he was invisible. Since disney can they could re use old dialogue from dino thunder for him and be done.


Stuff like that pisses me off on tv shows and movies. E.g Star wars digitally putting Hayden as Anakin's ghost MADE NO FUCKING SENSE and pissed me off. Angel the tv show seeing only the back of a blonde girl's head and been told it's buffy in season 5, If they couldn't get Sarah Michelle Gellar then get NO ONE.

Remakes or another universe e.g Buffy the tv show was set in a slightly different universe than movie so using Sarah Michelle Gellar in stead of Kristy Swanson is ok as it's a different version. But again same universe same series DO NOT RECAST unless it's a) younger version for back story or prequel or b) Older version for future stories.


The other thing that annoys me is how bad the continuity is. Yes it's a kids show so some leeway has to be taken, I get that. But sometimes the plot holes are just too much for me to take. I hate that I really do.

MMPR-Turbo = Tommy - He's always my favourite ranger and always will be. I just think he's cool and the best ranger
Space = Andros - I liked his character a lot I really did, Mostly seeing how tough he was and how he was a bit of a loner but with out been too whimpy about it like the silver ranger.
Lost Galaxy = Karone - I liked her evil and seeing her come back as a ranger was pretty interesting. She seemed like a good character who got some development from it.
Lightspeed = Ryan - I liked his loner act as well as seeing him go off on his own personal quest. Plus he felt different to the others on the team which is cool.
Timeforce = Eric - He's an asshole through most of it which we hadn't really seen before so that was cool plus his Q-rex was pretty awesome.
Wildforce = Merrick - He is as I always say the Wolverine of power rangers. He is a loner sure but also tough and so willing to help stop the evil, He was pretty cool and really liked him.
Ninja storm = Cam - He is one of the few who I feel truly earned their power, Plus he build cyber him not to mention his costume reminds me of Green Tommy so that gets me to pay attention straight away. Cool character with a lot of development for 1 season.
Dino thunder = Tommy = It's Tommy , 'Nuff said
S.P.D = Z - She's hot. I know not much of reason but I don't like the S.P.D rangers so that's all I have to go on.
Mystic Force = V = She is the only only Mystic force ranger I can stand. The others I just want to slap.
Operation Overdrive = Adam = I'm counting him just because otherwise it would be blank or others from once a ranger.
Jungle fury = Lily = She's cute but also a cool character which I like.

Hmmm this is going to be tough as I don't know that many on here.


Green - Rebelde - He seems like the black/green "fun one" type that this colour if part of the default team has and so he is my chosen Green.
Pink - Anahi - She asks a lot of questions (see this this thread) so she would be my team's answer to Billy (the brain of the group)
Blue - BlueVoltronRanger - He's obsessed with the colour blue so at least I can guarantee he'll have the wardrobe to be Blue ranger LOL
Yellow - Lily_Fury_Ranger - She seems pretty cool plus she's a Super Moderator not just a Moderator but Super meaning she already has powers right? like superman does because if he doesn't he would just be man.
Red [leader] - RJ - He leads this he can lead my team. He also seems more of the ranger type
[Extra] Gold (black like Jason's) - Chriz - He's really good looking from what I've heard the most "Man-pretty" member so he's the eye candy of my group for the ladies and a role model for all men. Plus he has a lot of black clothes.


Villain - Spambots! = like the machine empire on acid is how I will describe these.
