Thuy Trang.

And no this isn't just a 'Heath Ledger' over-appreciation post-death situation. I felt the same way about Thuy Trang even before the accident.

If people think I'm being an MMPR Purist, then Alyson Kiperman or Melody Perkins.

Amy Jo Johnson

She was one of the best actors on the show.

She also had a real acting career after the show(unlike most)

Plus I love hearing stories that she got so into her roles, that she feaked out a few of the other actors.

Out of interest, what did Kim do 'In-Show MMPR' that shows she was the best female actor ever in all seasons?

Because her 'TOMMMY TOMMYYY HELP MEEEE!! TOOOOMYY!! WE'VE GOT TO SAVE TOMMYYY!!' really got annoying after a while, that's why I don't think she was the absolute best.

well Jiemusu we all have our own opinions, if people like Kim then thats cool, if you dont then that is cool aswell.

I was just wondering if anyone had a certain scene or moment in MMPR in particular that sells Amy Jo Johnson to the public.

I.E. if Kim did something particular in MMPR that was impressive.

I ask this because two people said Amy in a row, so there might be something I'm missing.

Well for me personally i like the love story between her and Tommy, plus how she can play a bad girl as good as a good one.

1. Kim called for help about 10 times in 3 seasons(nothing compared to Kat)
2. Every thing bad happened to her because she was so good at acting
3. When she was turned bad(in a few episodes) she could at least show it on her face.
4. This is about being an actress, meaning that you can bring out of show references(as we are talking about people, not characters)

5. At least her fellow cast members liked being around her, there are many stories of Thuy Trang being near imposible to be around

6. This is favorite, so people can say Ann Marie Crouch(Princess Shayla) if they want.

Also I just want to say, whether people can or cannot be tolarated or standable behind the scenes doesn't really contribute to whether they were a good actor on screen or not.

Melody Perkins- great actress, really sells Astronema, and the fact that she is smokin hot is a bonus.

Also I just want to say, whether people can or cannot be tolarated or standable behind the scenes doesn't really contribute to whether they were a good actor on screen or not.

It effects the on-screen chemistry.

It doesn't say whether or not they are good, but it does lower them.

If its just one I have to go with Amy Jo Johnson.

I have seen her in other things after PR which helped plus I think she did a great job as Kim.

When only looking at acting talent, I'll have to say Erin Cahill.

As much of a Melody Perkins fan that I am, I have to admit sometimes her Astronema act (especially in the early episodes) was a little over-exaggerated.

For me it's a toss up between Amy Jo Johnson and Sally Martin. I think I have to go with AJJ simply because of how believable the dislike for Trini was in Bloom of Doom

Melody wasn't a bad actress, Stian. Besides, what you're pointing out is one of Astronema's phases. Compare the Astronema from the beginning and the end and you might see what I'm talking about. ;)

About Amy, I think she wasn't a bad actress neither, or else she wouldn't be the ex-female ranger with most opportunities out there.
