Year - 2026
Setting - New Tech City
To use magic, one must believe in magic. However, as Earth becomes more reliant on technology, humanity's faith in magic is being tested.
In 2006, Morticon attempted to break out of his underworld prison, but was defeated time and time again by the Power Rangers Mystic Force. When he finally did escape into the human world, Morticon finally fell in battle against his foes. They assumed Morticon destroyed forever, but this was not the case. Morticon endured, and he swore that he would gain revenge for being humiliated by the neophyte magicians. He was too weak to continue the fight now, but one day, Morticon would see his revenge.
Nearly two decades later, Morticon is ready to enact his master plan. Already, he's hailed as a hero by the people of Earth, even granted honorary membership in Space Patrol Delta. However, Morticon's plans are far more sinister than simply becoming loved by all. Out of the public eye, Morticon destroys the ancient artifacts which give Earth it's access to the Mystic Realms, absorbing their power with his mechanical implants in the process. Left unchecked, Morticon could one day become the sole being able to use magic on Earth, perhaps even in the universe.
The Xenotome, however, has things to say about Morticon's machinations. Already, it's brought the wizard Sotogen to New Tech City to work against Morticon, as well as powering up the five Mystic Morphers in preparation to stop Morticon's plans. However, there's a hitch - this time, the public is on Morticon's side, and the people of Earth see the magic-based Power Rangers as the villains. Can the Mystic Force truly stand up against such a powerful foe without the support of the very people they seek to protect?

Our Story Begins!
"You got a parade."
Morticon seethed. He wasn't huge on subtlty, so mostly, he tried to forget that his current plan wasn't strictly bashing people in the face until they were dead. Unfortunately, Scorpina liked to remind him that he was more devious than he thought. "Yes, I know."
"They're giving you the key to the city."
"Shut up."
"You did stop the Varox from invading. Again. You big hero, you."
"Shut up."
Morticon paced his lair. Well, it wasn't so much a lair, and Morticon found himself kind of missing the Pit he'd been imprisoned in so long ago. SPD had provided Morticon with an entire floor of SPD Headquarters, to do with as he wished, so Morticon had decided to move his entire operation here. It was a risky move, but as long as the city - and, by extension, SPD itself - was on Morticon's side, he wouldn't get any uninvited guests in his chambers.
Then, he got a visitor.
A chime resounded from the lift accessway on the far side of the room. Morticon straightened himself before realizing that the gesture would be pretty much useless. It's not like a slight movement of his body would make him look less like he was planning the downfall of all magic. "You may enter."
The doors slid open, revealing the Commander of SPD's Earthbase, Anubis Cruger. "I trust I'm not interrupting you?"
Morticon chuckled. "Never, Commander. To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"The city council was hoping you'd reconsider appearing at the parade this afternoon." Morticon seethed again, keeping his reactions carefully hidden from Cruger. "The parade is in your honor, after all..."
Morticon shook his head. "I'm sorry, my friend, but I have plans that can't be put off. My apologies."
Cruger nodded curtly. "Of course. Still, I hope your friends can attend the ceremony?"
"Yes, Scorpina and Grimoire wil be accepting the key in my stead. They were every bit as instrumental to driving off the Varox as I was, and they deserve it just as much as I do." Man, Morticon was getting good at bullshitting people.
"Still..." Cruger left the thought unfinished as his communicator chimed. "If you'll excuse me." With that, Cruger exited into the lift, leaving Morticon and Scorpina alone once more.
"Well, that was pointless." Scorpina walked up to Morticon, seductively tracing a finger down his chest and through some of his biomechanical implants. "I mean, from a dramatic point of view, no exposition happened with Cruger that we couldn't have-"
"Enough." Morticon grabbed Scorpina's wrist and ripped it violently off his chest, shoving her away in the process. "This afternoon, you and Grimoire will terrorize the residents of the city, distracting SPD while I... attend to other plans."
"There isn't another woman, is there? Because if there is-"
"SHUT. UP."
**********
"Well, Xenotome, this is nice. I guess."
Sotogen coughed as he waved a cloud of dust away from his nostrils, only half succeeding. Sotogen wondered why he was here, of all places. He idly supposed it was better than living in a tree.
The Xenotome had brought Sotogen to what looked to be the basement of some building in Newtech City. Sotogen was only aware that he was in Newtech because of some crumpled newspapers littering the dusty floor. Sotogen slumped into a chair, wondering what the blasted book was trying to get him to do. This wowuld have been so much easier if it were just the Necromonicon.
A gust of wind blew open a window nearby, sending another crumpled newspaper into the room. Sighing, Sotogen picked it up.
Celebration!
In thanks for the recent defeat of the Varox, Newtech City will be throwing a parade for Morticon and his allies this afternoon, including
A parade? Sotogen rubbed his beard thoughtfully. Clearly, this was a sign from the Xenotome - Sotogen had to be at this event, for... some reason. Or, Sotogen was simply reading too much into one of the many pieces of garbage littering the gorund of this future Earth.
Still...
Looks like Sotogen had plans for the afternoon.

Here's what you do!
It's a beautiful afternoon in Newtech City. You're doing whatever you'd normally be doing, so express some creativity! At some point, though, your characters will be attending the parade, whether it be because you want to or someone dragged you or I said so because I'm the boss. You may notice an oddly alien looking fellow dressed in gold in the crowds; you may not. Then, I post again and stuff happens!

Sebastian Chambers
Sebastian woke up early this morning, he normally liked to sleep in when he didn't have school. But he got the feeling something important was going to happen today. Not that he had any idea what it was, but he knew fate liked to work in mysterious ways. And so Sebastian took a shower and threw on a yellow and white striped shirt, a pair of khakis and his favorite sneakers. As far as he could figure, he had nothing special planned today. Lately he'd been having some problems with writer's block regarding his latest story, which detailed the adventures of a group of mythic knights as they fended off the forces of evil from the underworld and prevented them from conquering the surface world.
He decided that maybe some fresh air would clear his head. That way he could think more freely and possibly get some inspiration to further his tale. Looking at his wall clock, it seemed to be around 10:00AM so Sebastian grabbed his notebook, a fresh pencil and a bottle of water before heading out the door. It was nice out today, the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Could the feeling Sebastian got have been wrong? No, his feelings were always right. He strolled casually down the street, nodding at the passersby. Although he wouldn't admit it, sometimes seeing aliens and anthromorphic people walking around creeped him out a bit. Of course that was commonplace nowadays, but it was still surreal. After all, the mingling of Earth with beings from other planets only started a few years ago.
Since moving to New Tech City, Sebastian often wondered how his friend from Briarwood, Xander the manager of the Rock Porium would react to all of this. Cause honestly New Tech City was about as opposite from Briarwood as you could get. While Briarwood was a small town where everyone knew everybody, New Tech City was a vast metropolis and you'd be lucky if you knew the people on your block or apartment building. As Sebastian made his way through the busy streets of the city, a flyer attached to the side of one of the buildings caught his eye. He approached it and read what it said.
Celebration! Come join us at City Hall today where in thanks for the recent defeat of the Varox, New Tech City will be throwing a parade for Morticon and his allies this afternoon as well as rewarding him with the key to the city.
Sebastian remembered hearing about this on the news recently. This Morticon guy was some kind of hero. He's also apparently highly regarded by Space Patrol Delta, whose Earth branch is stationed in New Tech City. While he wasn't much for events like this, Sebastian thought he stop by anyway and check things out. From what he'd heard, Morticon had quite a mug on him so maybe he could use him for the leader of the underworld forces in his story.

Kyra "Ky" Thorn Marcus Halloway
It was way too early for her to be in the park, but way too late for her to return home. She had been out all night, scouting around for something to draw, and, when she finally realized she was exhausted and had checked her watch, grasped the fact it was past 3 AM. So, as per her usual stay-out-all-night routine, Kyra headed to her one and only friend, Marcus’, house. He always let her crash on her couch whenever she stayed out too late, and always was ready to tell her father that she had been there all night, and not wondering around like the weird girl she was.
Usually, Marcus let her sleep until she awoke, but today was different. Today, they were to attend the parade for Morticon, because Marcus was just rude like that. He didn’t want to go by himself, and risk being the only freakin’ human there, so he woke Kyra up after she had only received a nice six hours of sleep and told her to get ready. She made a noise, smacked him in the face, and then promptly rolled off of the couch. When Marcus snickered, she just tossed her jacket at him and ordered him to leave the apartment to get breakfast. She had to shower, and do other things he wasn’t allowed to be there for, despite the fact they had grown up together.
The two of them had everything down to an art, and the moment Marcus walked back in the door with breakfast (which, by the way, was a healthy dose of McDonalds’ McGriddles and OJ), Kyra was finishing up her hair. She gave him a grin as he tossed her the food and the two buddies crashed on the floor, eating. They had to fight off Marcus’ cat, Jim, and his two pups, Lilly and Sugar, but, eventually, the two ate a feast worthy of two fresh out of high school kids. Which, surprisingly, was what they were.
As soon as they finished, they threw their stuff away, and Kyra grabbed her art stuff. Might as well get some projects done while watching the parade, she figured. Marcus found them a nice place up on a hill, and Kyra began to sketch whatever she saw, including the aliens around her, city hall, and even SPD HQ in the corner of her vision.
“Draw this, Ky. Show me if ya can.” Marcus pressed a newspaper clipping into Kyra’s hand, and said woman saw it was a picture of Morticon. A smile formed on her face.
“Easy. Have it done before the parade’s over. You’ll owe me five bucks, by the way.” She informed him, slipping the picture from between his two fingers. He laughed.
“I’ll scrape it up somehow, I promise. Hey, how long until it starts?”
“Umm…I dunno! We’ll find out, huh?”
“S’ppose so.” Marcus agreed, and pulled out the coke he had brought. He popped the top off, and took a swig. Kyra rolled her eyes. Men.

Conner Stewart:
Conner stopped. He looekd around. The small path he'd followe lead him here? He looked around, confused. A few days ago Conner had decided that he wanted to start somewhere new and frsh so he'd figure hewould start with the weird path that was behind his home. Well, he previous home now.
Conner looked around again. "New Tech city?" he rubbed his shoulder confused. He's neevr been there but he never planned on it either. It was such a big place and it was nothing like what he was used to. Plus, more alien residents. Conner became nervous as he suddenly heard a strange niose far off in the distance. Though to him, it was very loud. His head turned sharply to the left and he took off as though lightning had struck him.
________
Conner stopped in a nearby ally. He saw a huge crowds gatehring aroudn the streets. His sences were tingling. The smell of the human blood was strong. But Conner knew how to ignore it. he kept himself distracted He walked out of the ally and into the crowd. He saw that it was a parade that they were watching. He hated parades. Too much noise and excitement. Conner knew he had to get outta the crowd. His thirst was growing. And who knew how far off an innocent animal could be?
Conner walked back into another ally, and hwile no one was watching his he jumped up and landed onto a rooftop. Searching, looking, targetting.

Dreamstate...
A battle around him...Blades, armors, axes, the carnage and the battle doesn't seem to end, and here he was in the middle...he looks up and sees the Argentos crest, he utters some words, can't be heard but the look on the knight's face was shock, when all of a sudden the vision hits fast forward and he is now looking at a dark knight, he starts galopping faster, until he sheathes his sword, and the next thing he knows...
Alejandro Bustamante
Otra Pesadilla...This is not the way to start a new day
Alejandro woke up after the 4th knock on his door, his uncle was trying to wake him up, he got out of the bed with difficult due to the books littering in the bed, after a few minutes he got ready for breakfast.
Alejandro, did you finish the report on the new Arthunian inventory we got from Europe?
Yes uncle, spent the past week finishing the reports and texts, wouldn't say that it was a breeze, but i'm sure as heck am glad that i won't be obsessed with this anymore.
He placed the folder in the table, and after his uncle picked it up, he showed Alejandro a pamphlet:
Celebration! Come join us at City Hall today where in thanks for the recent defeat of the Varox, New Tech City will be throwing a parade for Morticon and his allies this afternoon as well as rewarding him with the key to the city.
Well, the new exhibition won't be on display till tomorrow, and you did put a lot of effort into it, so why don't you take the morning off and attend the parade? it will give you a chance to get to know more of the city, you arrived a few weeks ago and yet you spent it isolated, so go, and i don't want any buts
Whatever you say uncle, but may i take this book while i'm at it? haven't finished it
After taking the book he rolled to the door, leaving to see if the outdoors are kind to him
XR18 "Rebecca"
Central Processing Room: 8:42am
Dream Simulation: Complete
Rebecca's eyes slid open slowly, silver orbs recording everything they passed over as the light from the central processing room filled her optic scanners. She smiled as she lifted her arms, stretching and faking a yawn. She was a late riser, however she never really slept. As the years have passed Rebecca has developed her own personality, and feelings about situations, one could assume it's a result of the fact that although she is wires, and spark plugs, she is a sentient being, others could speculate it could be from the exuberant amount of magic being pumped into SPD by the hour from Morticon and his cronies.
"A parade.."
She sighed leaning forward onto the tangled mess of wires that tied her to the sub basement level of this terrible building. She tapped her cheek with her finger watching Cruger enter and leave Morticon's floor via the elevator security camera as Morticon had asked to be left in private. SPD being his lap dogs, gladly removed all surveillance equipment, leaving Rebecca with a blind eye in that room. She sighed, beginning to filter through the footage that she hadn't been "conscious" for.
"Hmm.."
Rebecca spotted a man dressed in mideval clothing wandering the streets, he appeared disturbed by Morticon's fame, and quite obviously he didn't belong in New Tech city. Rebecca's finger tips traced the wires that bound her to SPD, trying to figure out why he'd shown up now, or even if he was a terrorist or not, when the elevator chime filled the central processing room. Rebecca straightened up and began typing in lines of code into her data entry logs.
"Good Morning Doctor Manx.."
Rebacca stated pretending to have no emotion what-so-ever.
"Good Morning XR18.. Your System Efficiency Update please.."
Dr. Manx asked for holding out her right hand for a disk.
"Affirmative."
Stated Rebecca handing over a black disk with her right hand, as her left continued to type at the keyboard.
"Will that be all, Dr. Manx?"
In truth, the disk had been created weeks ago, and time stamped with today's date, Rebecca had grown tired of making them up on the spot, thus she'd plotted ahead of time and made up the statistic data on her own.
"No, System Override, channel 11H85, Identification KatRanger, database inquiry: Delta Command - Data Stream Logs"
Doctor Manx spoke with a serious in her voice that made Rebecca nervous, or at least set off her concerns that this could be it.
"Passcode, accepted: Data Stream Logs accessed - Rebecca is at your service.."
Rebecca flinched hearing her own name echoing from her mouth, the code was basically a truth serum for Rebecca, she had to respond truthfully it had been beaten into her coding.
"Inquiry - Prime Directive"
Doctor Manx stated stepping forward, brandishing a USB flash drive and placing it into Rebecca's USB drive, to record her response.
"Protection of Newtech Citizens and SPD operatives"
Stated Rebecca.
"Inquiry - Sub Directive"
Doctor Manx stated stepping back and crossing her arms under her chest.
"Freedom..."
Rebecca's eyes shifted back and forth as she stared toward the ceiling, her arms wrapping around herself slowly as she hugged onto her own plastic ribs.
"Freedom from SPD's Central Data Hub.."
"Freedom from you Doctor Manx.."
Doctor Manx stood, in horror, her eyes wide, as she stepped back against the wall, she slid down the wall, looking up at Rebecca who had been mounted to the central hub for over a decade now.
"..No.. You're not lea-- Am I arguing with a machine over freedom?! That's like asking my toaster if it wants to go out to lunch or something!"
Kat stood up, her eyes full of fear, and anger.
"...I'm having your databanks scrubbed next Monday, enjoy your last week of faking emotions! You are a machine XR18, and nothing more! I refuse to have my EQUIPMENT acting like some pubescent teenager!"
With that Doctor Manx left the Central Data Hub, obviously ruffled by this whole ordeal.
Rebecca leaned forward, her head resting against the wires that borrowed deep into her body. Her arms above her head, clutching to the edge of the hub she was mounted to. She could not cry tears, but the emotion was genuine as her body wiggled and bounced with each subtle sob that echoed into the Central Processing Hub, in the sub basement level of SPD. The room filled with blue, un-happy, holographic, smiley faces, which aided in broadcasting Rebecca's dismay.

Conner Stewart:
Conner hadnt been in the city for fivem inutes and he was already about to pull his hair out. Too many people. Too much noise. "How can anyone stand this place?" he wondered. His thrist was getting stronger. Conner knew he had to get a meal soon. He didnt want to hurt anyone. Though that clown on the sidelines of the parade was starting to look good. Conner hated clowns. They were a waste of life.....which is probably why he often perferred them as a meal when he could.
Conner looked around plugging his ears. Then he saw it. Perfect and well shaped. A robber trying to get into a closed bank. "Closed for Parade" it read. Conner knew that this was his chance. He jumped off the building and landed gracefully not even mouse would scatter. Conner slowly walked up to the robber. "Pardon me sir, but this bank is closed...." The robber stared at him. Obviously confused with Conner's human but vampire appearance. Wondering if Conner was an Alien.
Conner laughed at his prey's expresssion. "Now why dont you follow me...and uh i can lead in the back way. It's always unlocked." He smiled. And the bird brained robber agreed. Not knowing his life was about to end.

Sotogen
Human displays were so... uncivilized. So erratic. No rhyme, no reason, no structure.
They stayed off the streets, yes, but that seemed to be more enlightened self interest than any sort of rule, as large, garish vehicles were slowly making their way down the streets. Sotogen wondered if all "parades" were like this.
On the largest vehicle, a woman in gold armor and a shorter, less-human-looking being waved to the crowds. They were smiling broadly, but Sotogen knew to look beneath the surface. They smiled, and they waved, but they would rather have been anywhere but there. And there was... something... about them. Something dark and, more importantly, magical.
As it turned out, Sotogen didn't have long to wait before he found out what.
In flashes of multicolored light, beings appeared in midair and began flying about the streets, screeching and divebombing the peoplle of Newtech. Sotogen recognized them instantly - gargoyles.
Instinct compelled Sotogen to return his gaze to the two on the float, but the golden-armored woman and the smaller being were gone. Sotogen cursed his lack of foresight. Clearly, this had been their doing.
No matter.
Sotogen ducked into a nearby alley. Revealing himself at this time would be... disaterous, to say the least. When he was sure that no one was watching him, Sotogen removed the small device from his tunic's inner pocket. "Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
Solaris Knight flipped out of the alley, firing his Laser Lamp at the nearest gargoyl as he did so. The creature tumbled to the ground and exploded into small bits of granite. Sotogen revved up his sidearm for another volley of blasts, only to be knocked in the back by another gargoyle.
It went like this for several minutes, SOlaris Knight managing to destroy a gargoyle, only to be blindsided by another of the dark creatures. Sotogen found himself wishing that he weren't the only warrior of magic capable of dealing with these beasts.
Elsewhere, the Xenotome heard his wish. It glowed briefly, sending several multicolored balls of light streaking into the air, out of the room, and to the parade.
Help was on its way.
*******
Here's what you do!
The gargoyles' attack has sent everyone into a panic. Including you, preferably, but not necessarily. The civilians are running away like chickens witht heir heads cut off. At some point, you're alone (either because everyone's run away or you're separated from the crowds while you're running). When you are, a ball of light in your Ranger color descends from the sky and transforms into your Mystic Morpher. And then you morph, and help Sotogen not die.

Zoe
Zoe ran for her life away from the parade. What ever the things were that were attacking it wer gross and she wasn't about to die before she turned thirty. She raced down and alley way hoping they wouldn't follow her. When she realized they hadn't she stopped to take a breath. All the sudden above her head a pink light glowed. It came to her hand and became a pink phone. "What the?" She asked looking at it. She opened it and a pink light casscade over her. Suddenly she was coved in a pink suit and felt alot more powerful then before. She wanted to fight and help the people of Newtech. She turned and ran for the parade. Once reaching it she stopped and took out the magic wand off the belt and thew it forward sending a pink light the erupted around gargoyels in the road. She ran to the guy that was fighting. "Hey need some help?" She asked giving him a thumkbs up.

Sebastian Chambers
Sebastian had just rounded the corner before reaching City Hall when suddenly he heard cries. But these weren't cries of happiness or joy, these were cries of fear. Hesitant to go any further, but curious at the same time the latter overpowered him and Sebastian continued towards the direction of the screams. He spotted a woman to his left, a few years older than him, maybe in her early 20's. She was hiding behind a parked car, from what he couldn't see. Then a gust of wind blew into his face, so strong it knocked him to the ground. When he regained his bearings and looked up, Sebastian couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Gargoyles?! Real, live gargoyles! This is crazy, how can they exist?" With that, Sebastian rolled to the side as the creature standing above tried to kick him. He got to his feet and spun around, trying to land a kick in the gargoyle's gut. His foot connected, but wound up hurting him instead. "Ow! Man, what are these things made out of, stone?" The gargoyle managed to hit Sebastian with a punch combo, causing him to stumble backwards. He did a backflip then turned and tried to find something to use against the creature. Just then Sebastian saw an iron pipe laying on the ground with some rubble. He picked it up and swung it at the gargoyle. But the creature simply raised its hand and grabbed the pipe, yanking it away before bending it in half.
It was then that Sebastian decided he most likely wouldn't be able to beat the gargoyles. "If nothing else, I have to at least lure them away from the other people." Though he feared for his own safety, something inside told Sebastian this was right. After making sure they were all focused on him, he took off down and alleyway. A split second later, Sebastian spotted a dumpster and hid behind it. He hoped that the gargoyles would go past it and not notice him. Several seconds passed, then he heard them go running by. Waiting a bit longer before coming out, Sebastian was about to go back and check on the woman he saw earlier. But suddenly he was blinded by a bright light. Sebastian raised his arms in an attempt to shield his eyes. But just as quickly as it had appeared, the light was gone. All that remained was a small ball of yellow light. It floated slowly down and Sebastian reached out, grabbing it in his hand. He brought it to his eyes, examining it as there was a second flash and then he was holding what appeared to be a golden cellphone. "This day just keeps getting weirder." Before he had a chance to think anymore about what the object was, Sebastian heard a commotion coming from the direction the gargoyles had gone. He glanced at his hand, then down the alley. "I think it's time for some payback."
He dashed down the alleyway, and when he emerged he was in awe at the scene before him. There were about 10-15 or so of the gargoyles. However there were also two figures fighting them. One which was most likely a girl, clad in a pink outfit. The other, a man adorned in a shimmering gold suit of armor with a matching cape. "Those two look like..........but they can't be. Power Rangers?" Ever since he was little Sebastian had been reading and learning about the Power Rangers. It seemed they were everywhere, in the past there were teams reported to have been in Angel Grove, Mariner Bay, Silver Hills, Blue Bay Harbor, and even as close as Reefside. Suddenly an idea struck Sebastian. He looked down again at the phone-type device, then up at the two spandex clad figures. "It's worth a shot." And without even realizing what he was doing, Sebastian flicked the phone open, causing it to extend into what looked like a wand and pressed the numbers 1-2-3. Then he brought his right arm up and crossed it with his left making a +. "Magical Source!" Sebastian then turned his arms sideways so that his right arm holding the phone was pointing vertically. "Mystic..." Finally, he brought his left arm back down to his side and shot his right arm into the air. "Force!!!" And with that Sebastian's body was enveloped in the same yellow light from earlier. When he emerged, he was covered in his own yellow hued outfit. He admired himself, turning his head and flipping his hands over. "Whoa, this is soooo cool! I'm a Power Ranger, wicked!!!"
The 'oof' made by one of the gargoyles as it was knocked over snapped Sebastian out of his trance. He ran over to where the the girl in pink and man in gold were fighting. Then a gargoyle came at him from the left and he drop kicked it to the ground. He spun and delivered an uppercut to another, sending it skyward. Sebastian saw the girl pull out a staff of some sort, and looking down saw that he had one too. He pulled it out and charged a small group of gargoyles with it, slashing as he went. When he reached the end, Sebastian turned on his heel and pointed the weapon at them like a gun. But it wasn't a gun....was it? Once again, he acted and spoke without knowing what he was doing. "MagiStaff, Crossbow Mode!" Then, magically the staff transformed into what indeed resembled a crossbow. It glowed with yellow energy, then fired a blast at the gargoyles, disintegrating them on contact. Sebastian lifted the crossbow to his face and marveled at its awesomeness. "Ok, that is officially the coolest thing ever!"

Conner Stewart:
Conner finished his small dinner just as he heard screaming and shouting coming from the direction of the parade. "Wonder what happened now...a balloon popped?" he rolled his eyes but widened them as soon as he got closer to them and saw what was going on. "What?" he asked. Some weird looking Gargoyales had started to attack the city. He'd some before but not like this. They werent popular in Briarwood, but what were they doing in this kinda of place like NewTech City? Conner's mind was doing tricks on him. "Yea that's it." He pondered. "That man must have had a cold or somehting and now im loosing it...yea that would make sence." Just as he was aboput to turn away a Gargoyle came his way and pushed him down and gave him a kick in the stomach. Conner stood up in fury and brushed himself off. This had to be real, not just anyone could so easily push him down. Being a vampire he was a lot more heavier than he appeared.
He rolled up his sleeves. "Okay buddy, if thats how you wanna play! Then let us tango my good man!" He ran forward and hit the gargoyle exactly where it hit him. The Gargoyle went flying and wacked against the wall. "Now...want some more?" The gargoyle, furious now, lunged forward and brought an attack on Conner. Conner himself was appauled and rubbed his chest. "Okay...that reall hurt...." As she was about to run away and give up and small green light shown above him.
It then flaoted down and laned into his handed chaning into a cell phone. Conenr stared at, confused. "Okay what kind of human did i just drink from?" Just then it slowly let a gren light cover his entire body transforming him into a power ranger. Conver looked at himself. He recognized the outfit. "Oh no!" he stamped his foot. "No way am i being a ranger, i have enough on my mind." he shook his head. As if it would solve his problem.

Alejandro Bustamante
He had arrived to the parade, this was more of a cultural shock to him, where he was used to elegance, sobriety and well...boredom, he was enjoying his time there, it was an aura of happiness, even though something was different, inside of him something was not right, but still he tried to enjoy what little free time he got from his work at the museum
This is really amazing, and to think my parents would've never wanted me to come here, now after watching these i am glag of my decision, he wasnt really paying attention to his surrounding when he bumped into a girl, she was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen, and right there he was lovestrucked, but as quickly as she appeared in front of him, she disappeared.
Funny...I hope i can see her again soon...now where was i.... DAMN! i completely forgot what i was thinking burst a laughter after that, and went on his way.
But as soon as he was finishing his sentence, an explosion was heard all over the surrounding environment. The public was running everywhere, and on top of that, some creatures, resembling gargoyles, started attacking them
Quickly everyone!! try to get to safety he started to help in any way he could, he then saw one of them lunging into a small girl, he succeeded in stopping his fist, but he was hurt badly. he told the girl to run as far as she could, and then he was alone in front of the monster
That...REALLY HURT!!! he screamed at the monster as he launched for an attack, his kick was futile since he received the full force of it, and didn't even felt a thing, the monster laughed, and then pushed him aside. As Alejandro was kneeling to get up, he suddenly felt a red light surrounding him...
What is this...The power...i can feel it... The orb of light then transformed into a cell phone, as if he already knew what to do, he took it and used it...
MAGICAL SOURCE...MYSTIC FORCE!!!
Galwit mysto Rangers He was lifted to the sky, as a phoenix was forming around him, he passed a portal fully dressed in a red outfit, and as he stopped, a helmet formed in his head. After the transformation was complete, he felt the rush of power
Grandioso!! Now to the freak that pushed me, how about some payback, you will not get away with hurting innocents

Kyra Thorn
Kyra had walked away from the small group that had gathered at her sketching spot, and was currently strolling along the fence line. Her hands were clasped behind her, and her green eyes were scanning for something to sketch from memory. It was a good thing she had a photographic one, otherwise her adventure would have been worthless. She had just found a pretty decent subject when something screeched, and she turned. A gargoyle was coming at her with blinding speed, diving towards her with its claws clicking and mouth open wide. She only managed to have a thought of how cool of a sketch that would be before its claws dug into her arms and it snatched her into the air.
A cry escaped her, and she quickly began to struggle. She hated heights! she realized as the gargoyle only continued to take her higher and higher. Warm liquid ran down her chest, and Kyra realized the monster had dug deep enough into her shoulders so that she was bleeding. “Let me go!” Kyra screeched the last word so loud the gargoyle hissed, releasing her. Obviously, her voice had gone high enough to hurt its sensitive ears. Kyra screeched as she fell to the ground, but something carried her off course. Right into a tree.
Once she was done finding her way to the bottom, she glanced up, looked around. With a yelp, she ducked back down upon seeing another gargoyle coming at her. A man in his near forties was fighting them off, another man (this one a Power Ranger!) fighting. Before she could stand, something knocked her to the ground again, and another thing formed into her hand.
“Okay, that one hurt.” Kyra muttered, then glanced down into her hands. “Huh…what’s this?” Amused, she pressed the first three keys, and felt something come over her. Before she knew what was what, a blue light swamped her. When she could see again, she was in a blue outfit. It took her a moment before she saw it was a Power Ranger’s uniform. “Ooh, this kicks ass! Actually…I do!” She did a running leap, and quickly knocked a gargoyle out of the sky. “Okay. That’s officially awesome.”
XR18 "Rebecca"
SPD - Sub Basement Level - Data Hub Center
Rebecca watched as all of this unfolded, her eyes wandered across the screen, following the man from before. Her glass eyes searched his form, smiling to herself as he seemed to have noticed the evils happening before him, in plain sight. Rebecca sighed dreamily watching Sotogen.
Suddenly, a horrible bellowing echoed from the holoscreen that she had been watching the parade through, as Gargoyles arrived, attacking the patrons of the parade, and chasing Sotogen away. She stared for a long moment, her right hand rose slowly, her fingertips traced the screen, disturbing it's flow from time to time, as her glass eyes searched for her bearded hero.
"...Gone.. Like the rest of them..."
She paused however, as her senors began registering a larger amount of focused energy with in her chamber. She braced herself for an attack, by shielding her face, however, a small ball of white light found it's way to her lap. She stared at it for a long moment, her fingertips reaching for it. The ball shattered showering Rebecca in white energy and revealing a golden cellphone, which suddenly snapped open, revealing it's wand-like appearance, a snow-flake at the tip of the wand-like phone.
Meanwhile, on her screen, more heroes wearing spandex costumes arrived, joining the gold one, however, Rebecca had long since forgotten of the screen in front of her displaying the battle.
The fingertips of her right hand began tracing the shape of the phone, as her left hand scooped it up, as a wireless connection was formed between Rebecca and the phone.
"Mystic..Force? Mystic Morpher, White Mystic Ranger, Fury of the Winter, spell codes... Access denied."
She paused, staring at the phone before attempting to connect with it again.
"Mystic Force, Mystic Morpher, White Mystic Ranger, Fury of the Winter, spell codes... Access Denied.."
She glanced up at the screen, seeing the same phone with those multi colored heroes displayed on her screen. She looked back to the phone she held in her hand, her eyes fluttering as if she were about to cry, however, again without tear-ducts, she could not. She began stroking the phone as she shut it.
"Freedom..."
She whispered to herself as her head lowered around her hands, as if she were cuddling with the phone.
"Thank you.."

Sotogen - Solaris Knight
It looked bad. Really bad, actually. The Gargoyles, while far from the most powerful of Sotogen's foes, were numerous. No matter how many he managed to shatter, more kept coming. Still, Sotogen fought, even if he was beginning to wryly wonder if the Xenotome had brought him here only to die in battle.
"Hey need some help?"
Sotogen risked a glance, starting at what he saw. A... a Pink Mystic Ranger? As if that weren't enough, one by one, four more Mystic Rangers joined the fray. Just when Sotogen had thought himself as good as destroyed, the Xenotome had given the powers of the Mystic Force to five humans and sent them to help. If Sotogen had ever doubted the sentience of the magic book, he didn't anymore.
With the five Power Rangers battling alongside Sotogen, the gargoyle monsters were on the ropes themselves. Sotogen himself felt renewed, as if if siply knowing he wasn't alone in the fight against evil was enough to rejuvenate him. Finally, the good guys were destroying the villains faster than they were coming, making actual progress in defending the populace.
However, the gargoyles weren't without more tricks of their own. The remaining gargoyles joined together in the center of the now-deserted street, clasping their claws together. In a flash of multicolored light, they seemed to join together into one fearsome being. When the light dissipated, one monster remainged. It was much bulkier than the smaller gargoyles the Rangers had been fighting, and nearly twice as tall and made of stone. The beast, a veritable golem, gave a mighty roar before advancing on the assembled Rangers.
Sotogen began charging his Laser Lamp as he backed away from the beast. This nasty creation... It would be difficult to defeat. He hoped the Rangers were up to the challenge.
On a nearby rooftop, Scorpina watched the battle below with disdain. She'd long since had her fill of teenagers with attitude dressing up in spandex and ruining the plans of her masters. She didn't look forward to reporting this to Morticon. With a gleam of golden light, she vanished, leaving the Rangers to their fate.
XR18 "Rebecca"
Alert screens popped up in front of her, as Rebecca jammed the alarms that could flood SPD with warning. She wanted to give the Rangers a fighting chance, to impress the city anyway. She glanced down at her cellphone, her mind wandered for a moment before she opened the phone.
"Oh please.. Please work.."
Rebecca held the phone over her head as the wand flipped up, the clear snow flake shaped tip glimmered with a bright white intensity. The lights in the room began to flicker and dim. She glanced around worried that this was affecting the whole base. She grasped the wand with both hands as glimmering white energy began to leak from the tip of the phone's wand like warm breath on a cold autumn's eve. In a flash the whole base blacked out, and Rebecca was gone.
The fight went on, however, moments after SPD went off line, a top a building above Sotogen..
A white clad ranger stepped forward, placing her left foot against the edge of the building's roof. She tapped her snow staff against her shoulder playfully as if picking her target loosely. She wore a uniform was white as snow, with gold and silver markings decorating the uniform in places. Her head snapped toward the gargoyles, she pointed the business end of her staff toward the air borne gargoyles.
"Halt!"
She swung her Staff into the air, the tip of her Staff began to glow, firing off several beams of icy white energy towards the airborne gargoyles. The icy white energy coated the gargoyles, freezing them solid.
She swung her staff down, toward the gargoyles on the ground terrorizing the people and the other rangers, the same effect fell over the stony demons, freezing them solid once the white energy had touched them.
"Strike them with your weapons! They are defenseless!"
Those that were airborne had fallen to the ground, shattering into millions of pieces, and the others would be no different when struck with staff/axe/bow/sword or magic..
This white ranger leaped down from the building to Sotogen's side, she crossed her arms over her chest after holstering her staff in it's holster on her right side. She too soon began backing away, aware of the danger, but only through the reaction of the other ranger's movements.

Sebastian Chambers
Sebastian had been doing fairly well against the gargoyles, now that he had his newfound ranger powers. Or was it.....magic? Maybe a little bit of both, either way Sebastian didn't care. The point was, he now had the power to help the innocent people and defend the planet. His childhood dream had come to life, and with excellent timing too. As the fight raged on, three more rangers joined Sebastian, the pink girl and the golden warrior. Two males in green and red, along with a female in blue. Sebastian smiled underneath his helmet. This would definitely help even the odds. With the six of them together, the gargoyles didn't stand a chance. Suddenly, one the gargoyles tackled Sebastian from behind. He flipped it over his shoulder and shot it with his crossbow. Seconds later, what first appeared to be a large chunk of ice struck the ground at Sebastian's feet and shattered. But when several more hit the ground right after, he realized they were gargoyles that had been.....frozen? Searching for the source that had put the stone creatures 'on ice' Sebastian spotted a armor-clad fighter similar to the golden man, except this figure appeared to be female and adorned in white like the snow.
Now with seven of them, Sebastian was sure of their victory. He returned his MagiStaff to its normal mode and slashed the remaining gargoyles that the White Ranger had frozen. They fell to pieces with ease, and Sebastian looked to see how the others were faring. Just then, a group of gargoyles that had managed to escape icy incarceration came together and fused together into one gargoyle behemoth. The golden warrior was closest and backed away as it advanced on him. Brandishing his weapon into a crossbow again, Sebastian ran to aid his new friend and teammate and fired off several shots from his crossbow as he went. The blasts struck the creature, but seemed to have little effect. "Crap, being made up of a bunch of gargoyle's its resistance to our attacks has increased. We may all have to attack at once to defeat it." Finally, Sebastian reached his comrade's side and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, we're with you."

Koragg The Knight Wolf
City Center
As Sebastian reached out to to place his hand on Sotogen's shoulder, a large, dark purple fireball erupted between them, separating them. As the flash susbsided and the smoke cleared, a figure clad in dark purple and gold armor appeared between the Giant Gargoyle and the Rangers. He had a dark purple and gold shield on his left arm, a sword's hilt sticking out from behind it, smoke billowing from the gem in the center, "Seven on One seems hardly fair. Don't you agree... Solaris Knight? And here I thought you were supposed to be the one with honor in your heart!" Koragg laughed for a moment as he patted the calf of the Giant Gargoyle, "You handle the Power Brats. I have business with the White Ranger and the Solaris Knight!" With that, Koragg leapt into the air toward Sotogen and Rebecca, holding his left arm out. The Shield seemed to split apart, the two sides moving up and down resepctively, to reveal a large, dark purple gem in the center. The gem had a gold interior that seemed to mimic an eye. Dark purple energy was pulled into the gem as Koragg growled, "Eye of the Master!" The gem flashed twice as two dark purple fireballs lanced out, heading toward Sotogen and Rebecca.

Conner Stewart:
Though he refused he knew he had to at least defend himself from getting attacked from the gargoyles. He took a stance and started to kick and punch anythign that came into his way. As he started to make his way into the street area he no sooner noticed 6 others in similair costumes like him. "Well at least im not alone in this." he thought to himself. He continued to fight till fianlly, all of a sudden most of the gargoyles went frozen and were easily defeated by the white figure who was nearby. "Nice moove," he mumbled. He continued to fight the non stopping Gargoyles. He no sooner found hismelf being blown away for an unknown force. A strange looking purple fireball. He stood back and and look to see what it was.
He saw a figure in purple, but looked different from the others. "This doesnt look like that this will end soon." he cried out. He looked at the others. "Looks like we're goana have to work together everyone."

Sotogen was about to assure the Yellow Ranger that nothing could defeat such a mighty force as they, when he was suddenly flung aside by a purple energy blast.
Solaris Knight? And here I thought you were supposed to be the one with honor in your heart!"
Sotogen started as the purple fireball seperated him and the Yellow Ranger, a little shaken by the fact this purple-clad warrior seemed to know him. He must be referring to the previous Solaris Knight...
Out loud, Sotogen retorted, "When it comes to defending the innocent, I'll take success over honor any day of the week!"
Koragg laughed for a moment as he patted the calf of the Giant Gargoyle, "You handle the Power Brats.
"Look out!" Sotogen, thinking only of the safety of a fellow warrior, shoved Rebecca out of the way of the Eye of the Master attack, taking the brunt of the energy assault himself. Amid a shower of sparks, the Solaris Knight tumbled backwards, slamming through a nearby telephone pole and sending it clattering to the street.
As he pulled himself to his feet, Sotogen called out to the Rangers. "Rangers! Handle the combined Gargoyle! You must work together, combining your magic to defeat him!"
Looking to his side, Sotogen spied his Laser Lamp lying next to the remains of the telephone pole. He grabbed it quickly and revved it twice more, fully charging it's destructive power. Sotogen took a stance between the Knight Wolf and the Power Rangers, brandishing the lamp menacingly. "I don't know what your business is here, Knight, but I suggest you move along."
Meanwhile, the Combined Gargoyle advanced on the remaining Power Rangers. It used it's large, bulky arms to pick up the fallen telephone pole, and began brandishing it the way a human would a bo staff. With a mighty, albeit slow, swing, It brought the makeshift weapon down upon the head of the closest Ranger.

Zoe
Zoe hit the ground with the force of the hit. This thing was strong and needed to be traken out. She stood and shook her head trying to regain some stableness after that hit. She caught herself and ran forward at the gargoyle. She jumped and called her Magi Staff. "Power of Wind!" She yeleld. A tunnel of wind smashed intot he creture. "Take that ugly!" She yelled landing and spinning out of the way of another attack.

Kyra Thorn
Kyra was just minding her own buisness, kicking some gargoyle butt, when the HUGE ASS gargoyle appeared out of no where. Cursing, the new blue ranger was about to attack it when, yet again, someone else appeared. Only this new guy attacked the golden dude - whom Ky was sure was responsible for their powers. She began to step to interfer, but then jumped back when the Gargoyle attempted to attack her. Time to put my money where my mouth is.... She thought, turning back to the gargoyle.
Taking a deep breath, Kyra pulled out a cell-phone looking thing and stared at it for a long moment before shrugging. "You did this to me before, let's find out how ya work in this sity-ation." She spun, pointed the cell phone at a nearby puddle. "Power of Water!" The water drew up from the puddle, leaving the grass beneath it completely dry, and formed into a long, deadly spear. When Kyra spun and pointed at the Gargoyle, the spear followed. It pierced all the way through the Gargoyle's side.
"Dat was cool."
XR18 "Rebecca"
She backed away, before being shoved out of the way of the energy blast. Sotogen landed the full force of the blast.
"No!"
Rebecca lifted her right hand as she crashed into the brick wall of the building she was shoved into. She gulped harshly before standing to face the purple Knight. To her surprise however, the Golden Knight regained his composure after the blast and joined the fight.
"...Glad you're okay.."
She said as her right foot slid back, and her left arm rose, holding her Snow Staff in an attack position. She swung forward, pointing the business end of the staff toward the Knight.
Meanwhile, Rebecca's wireless connection to the internet began rapidly downloading fighting techniques into her central database, in a desperate attempt to learn out to fight before the Purple Knight mopped the side walk with her.
"They're going to get creamed.."
She said keeping her eyes on the Purple Knight.
"We need to make this quick, he doesn't look so tough.."
Said Rebecca spinning the staff between her fingertips like a baton, she appeared to be getting more handy with her abilities by the second.
