Becka Rangers: Nemo Thunder

I originally posted this on Henshin Talk, so here it is again.

Becka Rangers: Nemo Thunder is a 2008 loose parody of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dino_Thunder), taking the same Becky that starred as Katie Averes in The Blue Face Film Strips and re-imagining her and some of her high school friends as Power Rangers with powers modeled after characters from Finding Nemo. The joke became a running gag on Beck's MySpace page.

This is a monster from the latter half of the season, named Fishonista:

Fishonista tries to capture Samantha (the Regal Tang Knight) and also gets every Nemo Ranger except for Mike (White Pelican Ranger, with the Nigel avatar). Mike frees Beck and Samantha and then is himself captured. Beck and Samantha double-team Fishonista with the Regal Blast and the Lucky Fin Missile Launcher, freeing the other Rangers.

Samantha then goes into hiding and lets the Rangers finish off Fishonista. They defeat the foe with the Coral Reef Megazord.

Fishonista was created partially with a strand of Beck's hair, hence the similar facial genetics. The reason for pursuing Samantha was because her Nemofier linking her Dory avatar with the Morphing Grid was powered by one of the Gems of Coral, which Barracudron pursues. The Knights of Coral are powered by Gems of Coral, whereas the inferior Australagems power the Nemo Rangers.
