Power Rangers in Space: Karone - Hypothetically Thinking

Had Karone never been cybernetically programmed into being Astronema again, and was able to return to the Astro Megaship, since at that point she was an "honorary" Purple Space Ranger, do you think that if she had remained as Karone, she would've received a morpher and fought along side the other six? Let the discussion and debating begin!

But at the same time, she would still have her powers, so she might not even need one. She might have started creating monsters to fight for the rangers.

I think they chose purple specifically so she wouldn't be mistaken for one of the six rangers. Also, iirc, it was her hair color just before she traitored Dark Specter.

I never even noticed that! The blue one was my favorite, but I guess that's a post for a different thread...LOL.

I don't even think she would keep the jacket(or color) for long, she never once wore pink, so she would just pick up some leather at their next stop on earth.

The KO-35 inhabitants and/or Alpha 6 probably could've created one, had they needed too.

KO-35's scientists have far too much to wprry about, and I doubt they have anywhere near what they need to make more.

Alpha 6 can not make morphers, Alpha didn't seem that smart.

But if they wanted a morpher badly, they could always just take Justin's.

<shrugs> I'll compare/contrast the two at a later time...LOL. I'm going to go off of what I remember, and I'll say Astronema/Karone was a better fighter.

If Karone has a staff, any staff(not just hers) she is a much better fighter. Without a staff, I think Kat has the edge(but neither could fight)

but wasn't she trained by a legendary warrior know through out the galaxy called Ecliptor when she was young so she could take down the power rangers?

We don't know if he trained her to fight, he just raised her.

Now I am saying this after watching Lost Galaxy. Astronema was a great fighter, but Karone was not.

But I do wonder if Karone still has her powers from her time being Astronema (pre-chip) and just chooses not to use them. Since they never really made it seem like she was given them by Dark Spector through dark magic.

I think she had her powers untill Zordon's energy hit her.

So like I said, she might have started creating monsters to fight for the rangers.

But it was obvious that she didn't want to do anything that might make the others not trust her, she was afraid of not being accepted.

This is a good "what if" question. I always wondered how Karone would help the Rangers if she never was recaptured by Dark Specter. I think 1 of 2 things would've happened.

1. Cassie hands over her morpher to Karone after Karone proves herself. I remember Andros saying that Karone dreamed of being a Power Ranger when they were kids. I think Cassie would probably see Karone's destiny, and decide to step down, and allow Karone to come full circle.

2. Karone hooks up with Zhane, and the 2 of them help the rebels of KO-35 together, while the other 5 Rangers fight Dark Specter normally.

Seems a bit irregular of Cassie to just 'give up her status' randomly without a real reason.

Still, Zhane will be morphed, she won't be.

I was fine with Karone being "that pink ranger who wears black leather", but it added more depth to the finale turning good at the end
