Welcome SilverNinjaRanger, thank you for your time. This interview will consist of 15 questions or more.

This interview should be completed within a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.

Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.

I think I have covered everything so let us begin :D

Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

Thankyou for interviewing me. Well first of all, my username was GekiBlack, but about a month ago on the spur of the moment, I changed it as I had been watching MMPR Season 3. And I also like the color silver.

Cool.

Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.

My top 5 is really a top 4, as I have 2 seasons in the number 3 position.

1. Power Rangers Time Force
This is arguably the best season of power rangers. The quality of acting is brilliant, the cast is great, and it has an awesome villain in Ransik. I was only 9 when this originally aired but re-watching it again recently has made me appreciate it even more. In my opinion it has some of the best character development of any season. One example of this is Jen. We see Jen start off harsh and cold, but as time goes by, we really see her character develop and see her softer side revealed, as her feelings for Wes begin to develop and deepen. This season also has my favourite villain Ransik, he is awesome. Also, as I was re-watching, I noticed that Time Force is noticeably darker (by PR standards) and more mature than all the other PR seasons. It also has an underlying theme that people should control their own destiny, and I applaud it for that. So to summarise, I believe that Time Force is the pinnacle of what PR has to offer, and it is personally my favourite season.

2. Power Rangers SPD
In my opinion, the best Disney season (Dino Thunder is awesome but I just prefer SPD). This wasn’t really a hard choice, as I have always loved SPD. This season like Time Force, has a great cast (I marginally prefer the cast of SPD to that of Time Force), good solid acting, and again like Time Force good character development. Considering that this is a Kalish season, its pretty damn good. I love the storyline, the characters, the suits, the zords, everything. This season also has one of my favourite rangers of all time, Bridge Carson. The only reason that this is in second and that Time Force is in first is that Time Force was one of the seasons that got me into PR (the other being Lightspeed Rescue) and I enjoy watching it more. But other than that, SPD is a brilliant season.

3. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
3rd place was a really hard choice, and it came down to 2 seasons, LR and DT. I just couldn’t decide between the two, so I chose both. Now I know that the majority of the PR fanbase dislike LR. But I think that it’s a great season. This was the first full season of PR that I actually watched (I was eight when this first aired) and I absolutely loved it. One thing I love about this season is the rescue worker premise and I also really like the Titanium Ranger.


3. Power Rangers Dino Thunder
One of the most awesome seasons ever. What is there not to like about DT? Again it has a great story, good cast and solid acting. But it also brought back Tommy. Also I love the whole premise of the evil white ranger. It is a better season than LR, but I like both of them the same. Very close to being the best Disney season. It also has the most god modded ranger ever. How can you not love this season?


4. Power Rangers In Space
Arguably the only other candidate for the spot of best season of PR. A monumental season, and the most important season other than the whole of MMPR. It brilliantly brought an end to the Zordon Era. Now the only reason this is at number 4 is because I enjoyed the other seasons more. Good cast, acting and the best PR season finale ever. All in all a brilliant season. Only Time Force comes close.

A great evil is loose. It's your job to construct a ranger team. Out of all the rangers available from all the different Power Ranger/Sentai seasons, which ones would you want on the team? These can be from each season and you can have whoever you like, so Five Rangers one Sixth ranger Or SPD style and have 8.
In addition, why you would chose them as well, what makes them good enough?

Here are my choices

Red-Wes
The red ranger that saved all of Time, and one of my favorite red rangers. He has great leadership skills, is brave and is a great fighter.

Blue-TJ
My favorite blue ranger. I think his leadership skills (as second in command) shined in In Space and he would make the perfect Deputy to Wes.

Green-Bridge
This dude his just awesome. His goofiness, wackiness and unorthodox methods hide a brilliant mind. The ultimate tech savvy ranger (other than billy).

Yellow-Kira
The head strong girl what every ranger team needs.

Pink-Karone
A generally great pink ranger. She's also incredibly hot too :D

Sixth-Eric
This dude is a badass lone wolf character just like myself, an awesome addition to any ranger team. It also helps he controls one of the most powerful zords ever.

Thus far which Power Ranger/Super Sentai team up has been your favorite? Why is it your favorite? What has made it your favorite? Was there anything that the team up was lacking? Explain.

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I would have to say my favorite PR teamp up has to be Thunderstorm. The NS and DT rangers fighting, absolute awesomeness. The best SS teamup has to be Gaoranger vs Super Sentai, it scores massive points with me because they included Big One ( He's awesome) and Red Falcon (liveman is my favorite sentai).

Not sure about that SS one, but Thunderstorm was pure gold.

In Power Rangers, we are seeing a lot more Rangers with genetic powers, which one that appeared in the show would you want and why? What would you do with it? Would you use it for personal gain? Would you tell anyone about your gift?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I would love to have Ethan's armored skin power, it would mean that I would be almost indestructible. I would not tell other about my gift. And I would only use it to do good, unless I wanted to get out of english literature class.

-.- I don't get how it'll help you getting out of class lol.

Out of all the Rangers who is your favorite and why what is so great about them? Did they do anything that you really liked about them more? Would you change anything about them?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

My favorite ranger has to be TJ as Space Blue. I really liked how his leadership qualities shined in IS and he is generally a cool guy. The one thing I would change, is stopping him from having the stupid idea of blowing up the turbo zords.

Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?
If you have not seen any Sentai, would you like to? If not, why?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I have seen quite a few sentai (boukenger, jetman, go-onger, liveman, dairanger, turboranger, goranger,megaranger, jakq), and I enjoy watching them. But I enjoy PR more. My favorite sentai is Liveman. The only thing that I would change, is that I wish OO was a bit more like boukenger then if they had decent actors it woukld have made a great PR season.

Um..I haven't seen any of those.

What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I remeber getting a Kakure Daishogun (Ninja Megazord) as a 3rd birthday present. I didnt open the box and its still in its original box. The earliest memory I have of the show is watching mmpr the movie when I was 3. (I was born in 92)

Haha, I was born in the same year..It's weird how I don't remember anything from way back...It's awesome that you kept that toy like that.

SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I for one would love to see a good female red ranger. I think that hard core fans would react well to it. It would be awesome to have a headstrong female leading the team. But the chances of sentai having a female red are very low. But a female red would be cool.

Yep it would.

Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I didn't like the original rangers leaving. It was kind of sad to see them go. I didn't mind the turbo rangers leaving, because if they never left, In Space would not have been as awesome as it was. The turbo replacements were good.

Which villains in Power Rangers do you like the most? Which ones do you hate the most and why? Which Villain do you think beat the rangers more then any other one? Which one do you think would have been better in another season for example the villain in SPD might have been better in IS.

[SteelSpaceRanger]

My favorite villain is ecliptor. Honorable, ruthless and loyal. The villain that came the closest to actually destroying rangers is divatox. The villain i hate the most is nadira, her voice drives me crazy.

Divatox, she's I believe the one that actually won against the rangers.

Do you like when a ranger team starts off with 5 and eventually is joined by a 6th ranger? Or do you like it when a team starts with 3 and eventually is joined by two or more? Explain within detail the one you prefer

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I prefer the original 5+1 team. I think it allows the team to develop more.

What aspect of Power Rangers is your favorite? (The posing, Zords, helmets, etc?)

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I have two favorite aspects. The morphing and the zords. The morphing is awesome, and who wouldn't want to pilot a giant robot.

Lol, depends if you want to destroy your city...well unless you have a flying zord.

If you could create a Power Ranger season what kind of PR would you have, where would it be set, what year, what color be the leader, how many rangers? What would the villain be like?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

If I could create a season, it would be an all dragon theme. It would start off with 4 rangers Red (male) , Blue (male) , Green (male), and Pink (female). Red would be leader (pink 2nd in command). Red would be fire, blue water, green wind, and pink earth (nature). Then two rangers, grey (female) and yellow (male) would join. Grey would be shadow and yellow light. The a final gold ranger would join (male). He would have the power of sky/void. It would be set in the fictional town of Aurora Bay, CA. It would be set now. Villains would be dragon slayers. It would be a wild beast team as the dragons are the protectors of nature.

I'm also currently developing a kaijuu themed sentai called Daikaijuu Sentai Genshiranger ( literally "Big Monster Squadron Atomrangers"). It will feature godzilla, gamera, mothra, king kong and rodan. And the ultimate king of awesomeness that is KING GHIDORA. now to leave you with a quote from my upcoming fic.

If you could create a Power Ranger team made up of Villains who and why?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

Red-Lord Zedd (pre marriage): one of the best pr villains, would make a deliciously ruthless red ranger.

Blue-Ransik: one of my favorite villains, he is powerful, strong and fights enemies with ruthless abandon.

Black-Thrax: as much as he is not that great a villain, I would pay money to see Zedd and Zeddy junior on the same team. So much potential evil awesomeness.

Yellow-Divatox: an extremely powerful villain, the one that came closest to destroying the rangers. An asset to any team.

Pink-Astronema: another powerful female villain, it also helps that she's extremely hot too.

Nice mix you got going there.

If you could make an adult version of PR more grown up so you could have more action and blood or swearing, what would you do to make it more for an older audience and what season would like to make as an mature season for adults? Also would you re-cast the same cast or pick new people?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I think that SPD and DT would make great mature seasons. For SPD I would add more action and a bit more violence. I would also develop jacks character more. For DT, the same as SPD, although I would develop Kira and Trent's relationship more as they definately had chemistry. Because both seasons had great casts, I would keep them.

Yeah..it was really bad they didn't add a bit more of Kira & Trent sometime during DT.

If you where asked to be a ranger in real life, which Villain would you want to battle, which PR outfit, which Ranger, which mentor and where about’s would you set it?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I would want the powers of Quantum ranger, and I would battle astronema. I would have Doggie as my mentor and it would be set in classic angel grove.

I'm really sorry for the long delay.

Ok if you were a villain in PR, what kind of villain would you be? Would you have any powers?
Also we all know Villains always lose but in this case you will win, so what is your plan for destroying the Power Rangers and also which team would you like to destroy?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I would be an evil ranger. (the cobalt ranger-this is now my official ranger color) I would love to have the power of ferrokinesis (ability to control metal). And the team i would want to destroy, thats easy, Power Rangers MysNICK Force.

For you to think about, you think being red ranger, in other words leader, is decided by gender and/or looks, or by capacity, leadership, and/or by a good heart?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I think it should be decided by capacity, leadership skills and compassion. But all to often it comes down to gender (toei take note)

Yeah it's sad but true.

Would you ever like to see a ranger go evil? Like is the villain in a new season?
If so which one and why? What do you think would make a ranger want to be a bad guy and fight for evil?
Or a ranger chose the side of evil half way though and season and stick with it, like they where betrayed or something else?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

If they decided to make a ranger evil, it would have to be done right. I like the ranger being betrayed and turning to the side of evil idea. It would add a new darker dimension to pr not seen before.

That would be interesting to watch.

Which Power Rangers season had the best opening to a season and ending? What makes a good opening and Ending in your opinion?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I'd say DT and Spd have pretty good openings. The best season endings, are tf and IS. IMO, a good season opening has to be fulll of action and introduce the rangers in a good way. A good season finale has to be epic, and tie off any loose ends.

Is there an episode of Power Rangers that you do not like? Or is there something else in PR that annoys you?

[SteelSpaceRanger]

I can't think of an individual ep of pr that I don't like, although if it counts I pretty much hate all of MF (apart from the battlizer episode). The one thing that annoys me about pr now is badly done CGI zords.

Which was your favorite ranger from each season? And only one, not two one you have to pick one! Just want to make it harder for you :p And why them?

If you could make a team of Power Rangers used from RT members who and why? Which team would you be? Would you have 6 rangers or more? Also would you use any for villains just for fun of course?

I donts know that many members but some seem pretty kool so i'll go on that:

Red-TSFR- he's a cool guy, and his pixel art skills are at an almost godly level.

Blue-DTGR- dude makes some awesome avatars and he's a dt fan like me why not make him a ranger?

Yellow- Anahi- as a thanks for conducting this interview and generally being awesome, you can be the yellow ranger on my team.

Black- SPD-fury another TF fan like myself, seems like a nice guy

Pink- pinkranger gotta show love 4 the mods- and her username is suited to this position.
