Best Red Ranger Weapon

Sword, for me. In my opinion it's the weapon that suits best to a leader, and I always liked sword fights between a red ranger and a monster/henchman.

Blaster all the way. When making red rangers for my fan seasons, I very rarely give them swords as their personal weapons.

I like to see a variety of weapons, but a sword always seems to look best as the Red Ranger's weapon. I don't know why. Perhaps its because Jason had a sword as someone suggested earlier. The guns in S.P.D., the spear in Operation Overdrive, and the nunchaku in Jungle Fury were pretty nice, though. They should really use nunchaku more, whether its the Red Ranger's weapon or some other Ranger's weapon.

Typically I would go with the sword but when Jack came out with those blasters I was ok with him not having a sword. He made those weapons work for him. He even use them when fighting criminals with swords to me that is BA. I agree with the person who said we are so use to red rangers doing the sword thing. I think it's a ranger staple for the red ranger to use a sword. In seasons like TF, WF, NS, DT, OO, and JF where another weapon is not a sword, I still notice a reliance on their sword sidearm or in Casey's case the shark sabers.
