I watched that anime such a long time ago...I think it was one of my first ever...great times.

It's a great show, with some cool plot twists. It's like a combination of Power Rangers and Anime.

Long live Sailor Moon! Although, the majority of my favorite characters aren't her at all, xD. I am much more of a Mercury fan in all the incarnations I saw of her along with the Outers and Starlights. I like the other inners too, but not as much. My most favorite arc of the entire series has got to be Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.

So happy this series is getting a new season being created, along with Funimation dubbing the series plus the english release of the Sailor Stars season by Funimation. Oh and I personally hated the season/s that had the new cast, they were terrible seriously.

I watched Sailor Moon until it went off the air on Cartoon network,Unless I wanna kill my internet I can't watch it without a Wifi connection. So until I have a laptop I'm out of the sailor moon loop which sucks because I've only seen as far as Supers Ending nothing past that.

i had a source whom has comfired a an uncut dragon ball z like treatment (inculding the never b4 dubbed stars). also my source said cuz of legal reason it more than likely wont be until 2011-20012. this is of course if the legal reason are worked out. however this is the first im have heard of a new season and funimation doing the dub.

Well I know of the dubbed version of the stars season, the new season could have just been for a laugh but I'm pretty sure it's going to be dubbed by Funimation.

I get your point, but it is not even close to the first anime brought to America. I think that the first anime was brought to America in the late 60's.

Same with me. Though I have the first three seasons on dvd which is nice to watch time from time. As for the show getting redubbed offically...I will belive it when I see it. There have been so many rumors about SM since it ended in the US. I espically want to finish my SM manga collection.

SM is a great show. But I feel sorry for everyone who has to watch the English dub.It is horrible. Our German ( German dubs are in most cases bad but not here ) and the original are alot better. Every fan should watch SM subbed to get more addicted. :D

So, has any one seen the live action sailor moon show? I wasn't so sure about it, after watching the first few episodes, but after them it really became interesting. I have to say that I liked it. I say all Sailor Moon fans should check it out(Veoh is a good sorce for the episodes)

Yea, but Luna was funny as a stuffed cat. However the anime is a legend, the show can't touch it.

In PGSM the hair was fake. But the hair is why, in my opinion, anime characters do not look that Japanese.

Honestly hate to say it but PGSM is a RIP off of the Original Anime although Luna was funny that's beside the point, Nothing beats the Original Anime even if it was English dubbed. Mean Managa's better on some parts cause in the Anime Uranus&Neptune were cousins were as in Managa they happen to be lovers, so on. I could go on for days on the subject but I'll stop now, spare you all of my Sailor moon related obsessive ranting.

Yeah, I used to watch the dub when I was a kid. I watched it with my sister.... and then I'd change the channel whenever my dad walked by. Zordon forbid I watch a "Girl Show" :p:p

Sailor Moon was one of the first animes I saw and is one of my favorites. I haven't seen an episode in quite sometime though. My fav. character is Ami.

i was having a look around wikipedia and i found somthing odd. On the page about Kaley Cuoco(played Bridget Hennessy in 8 simple rules).it says she will be playing/voicing Sailor Venus on Sailor Moon in 2009. i was wondering if this is true or not

Doubt it. Uhh...Sailor Moon has nice symbolic images but the modern show Shugo Chara
is technically better because they let the boys transform as well. I mean,we let girls be Kamen Riders sometimes so it's only fair.

I'm a guy and i definately admit without feeling one bit of embarrassment that i did watch Sailor Moon back in the Toonami days.:p The combat sequences which involved Serena (Usagi) were a little too formulaic for my liking. She makes her transformation, says her motto, immediately starts getting beaten by the villain of the week, usually her fellow Sailor Scouts or Tuxedo Mask has to save her, then she does her final attack, villain is destroyed. That formula was used too much IMO.:( I wanted to see Serena actually do some damage a little more rather than almost always being saved by one of her crew. The 5 main Scouts were all very attractive and those Sailor suits definately get one very attracted as well as slightly aroused.:D I definately understood the change the dub gave to Uranus and Neptune; making them cousins in the dub while in the Japanese sub they were true blue lovers; and Rini (Chibi Usa) is totally KAWAII!!!:)
