Kamen Rider motifs

Since the time of Ryuki, we have seen a slightly more diverse motifs apart from the "Bug" motif that has dominated much of Kamen Rider's history

I'm waiting for a space motif like Kamen Rider Star or Kamen Rider Galaxy. Personally I'm waiting till Sentai and Kamen Rider switch ideas. Kamen Riders with like a car or, for the sake of naming something, samurai themes and Sentai with a bug theme.

I'm happy though that they strayed away from traditional motifs. Opens the door to bigger possibilities.

true but they mustn't stray too far from the aspects that made Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider.

The Riders these days have stray so far that there has been online wars between two sides of fans.

As for motifs not used yet.

I can't speak on the subject because I don't understand what the original Kamen Rider was about and why they were bug themed in a sense but I enjoy the hell out of our current riders...even Hibiki sadly...

The first Kamen Riders in Ishinomori's time were mostly just mainly bugs motifs.

Amazon was the first to deviate from the bug motif. Another one theme was more of cyborgs. Almost every rider in the Showa era was a cyborg or modified human in someway or another

Sadly after Ishiniomori's passed away, Kamen Rider's began to lose the "Rider" in Kamen Rider. But this should discussed in the other thread.

I was thinking maybe a Spider motif would be a lot more cooler than Leangle would admit

And Legendary speaking of a space-themed Kamen Rider, I got a friend who got fanfic one called Cosmos. It will be coming to this forum later. I helped a bit with its design too
