Once a Ranger: The Key to Time

The Story:

Legend speaks of an cosmic artifact with the ability to manipulate time; this artifact is known as the Time Cube. Many have tried to seek the history writing object hoping to form the galaxy in their image. However, the Ancients created the Time Guardian to prevent the cube from fallen into the wrong hands. For over two millenniums the Time Guardian successfully thwarted all attempts to use the Time Cube, that was until the arrival of Lord Gamma.

Lord Gamma, a space pirate fought the Time Guardian over control of the Time Cube. Having been fatally wounded by Lord Gamma, the Time Guardian used the last of his life force to break the cube into six pieces, scattering them across time and space. Lord Gamma following the trail of one of the pieces of the Time Cube arrives in present day Fairview bringing with him massive destruction.

A being known as the Watcher having seen the multiple futures in a Galaxy under Lord Gamma, breaks his rule of non interference by gathering current and former rangers. The Watcher commissions the Alien, Space, Time Force, Overdrive rangers and RPM Rangers for their talents needed to retrieve the six pieces of the Time Cube and prevent Lord Gamma from his goal of Galactic rule.

Bradley is a fan of American Eagle Polos and collar shirts. Feels most comfortable wearing jeans and nice pair of KSwiss shoes, usually trim in the color matching Bradley's outfit.

Hobbies: Working out, comic books, cycling, writing, hiking, nature, and reading.

Personality: Bradley may be one of the few remaining nice guys in the world. Bradley is full of life and a joy to be around. He can always find the positive in any situation. He has many friends because they know they can depend on him. Bradley is always willing to help which sometimes can a problem. Bradley has a hard time telling people no and his sensitive nature clashes with the typical male stoic behavior. Bradley is hard on himself academically desiring to be the first Asian American President.

History: Bradley was born to strict Baptist parents. Where as most kids would rebel against their moral values, Bradley gladly accepted them and does his best to act accordingly. Bradley's devout Christian practice as a young child made him an outsider to his classmates. Bradley found comfort and friendship in reading. His friends became the wacky Cat from Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter, Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer, Holden Caulfield and many others. Bradley's life was pretty average; instead of attending camp, movies, bowling night, and other trips with kids from school, Bradley would go with his church friends or parents.

As Bradley matured his classmates took it upon themselves to try to break Bradley from his "sainthood' as they viewed him. Bradley found himself pressured to drink alcohol, skip class, cheat on a test, steal candy, and smoke cigarettes. Bradley would find he tempted many times but would rely on his faith to resist. At the beginning of his freshmen year in high school Bradley realize the need to form a Christian group called Friendship Club. The club was established to fellowship with other Christian teens, strengthen their faith and resist temptation often faced by high school students.

Most of Bradley's life was simple the only problems he had was being outcast when he was younger and the kids trying to make him comprise his values. Bradley's faith was put to the test near the end of his sophomore year when he lost his mother to a drunk driver. His mother had pulled over to the side to change a flat tire when a drunk driver lost control and slammed into the car. She was killed instantly. Bradley's world was turned upside down. It was the first time he experienced death, his grandparents were still alive. Bradley left friendship club for a time trying to make sense of how his mother a Christian could dead when the drunk driver the sinner lived.

Bradley spent most the summer after sophomore year searching for the answer. He was not satisfied with "it was his time" and "apart of the plan". During this time a new evil threat known as the Reaper landed on Earth. Andros and the former Space rangers attempted to defeat but realize they were not as able to be rangers as they once had been. Each ranger sought out new successors similar to when the Tommy, Adam, Kat, and Tanya pass on their powers to TJ, Carlos, Cassie, and Ashley.

TJ met Bradley through TJ’s youth group; Bradley still attended church but was not into as he once was. TJ saw all the qualities of his successor in Bradley but knew emotionally he was not ready. Even with his hang up TJ felt comfortable selecting Bradley as the new Blue Space Ranger. During his time with the team and training with TJ Bradley was able to come to terms with his mother’s death. Concluding life is filled with good and bad experiences regardless of your lifestyle. However, some choices will lead to more positive outcomes or more negative outcomes. It was still important for him to hold to his faith because it was not for him to judge the spiritual state of another individual but, should be concern with him and helping others.

Having successfully defeated the void, Bradley returns in his junior year having resolved his spiritual dilemma and begins working towards his dream of becoming the first Asian American president. He runs and wins junior class presidency at his school. Recently Bradley was approached by the Watcher to be on a team to retrieve the Time Cube, Bradley quickly accepted this task.

History : The end of their spell on Earth was only the beginning of a desperate period for the Aquitian Rangers. Their world came under threat from the forces of the Hydro-Contaminators, then Divatox, and latterly a race of hulking, green-skinned pirates called the Krourk. The Aquitians have not been idle, though; their near-defeat by Divatox showed them that they needed to rise to the challenge of an ever more dangerous galaxy. Following advice from their human friend Billy, they embarked on a quest to seek out their ancient mentor Ninjor and retrieve the dormant Shogunzords. With Billy's knowledge and the Shogunzords as a template, their trusty Battle Borgs have been significantly upgraded with extra weapons. It was barely in time; the Krourk moved into Aquitian space, bringing their lumbering, giant war machines to threaten the peaceful waters. For nearly three years the Aquitian Rangers have fought the Krourk to a standstill and still there is no end in sight.

Personality - Nick is a very easy going kind of person. He loves to practice his fighting abilities to keep in top shape. He is very loyal to the people he cares for and will always give 100% in everything that he does. He will always fight for what he believes is right, and will never give up. He will also put himself in harms way to save someone else. He can be kind of shy around new people, but when he gets to know them, he opens up and shows a fun loving attitude

History - Nick was born 7th August 1984 to Mitchell and Ann Smith in Angel Grove. He is the second son in the family. The first son is named Michael. During his childhood, Nick spent alot of time with Michael, playing games and stuff, but also spent alot of time with his other friends from school. Nick did well in school. He got good grades and never got into any trouble. His brother always called him 'A Future Role Model'. At the age of 10, his parents were going through alot of trouble, and ended up getting a divorce. Nick stayed with his Mom in Angel Grove while his brother Michael moved with his Dad to a place called Reefside, where Michael enrolled in Reefside High and begun a new life. Nick was devestated about his Dad and brother's departure, but, eventually, Nick got used to being alone with his Mom. Plus he always had his friends to cheer him up. The years swiftly move on and Nick begins High School at Angel Grove High.

Nick begins High School as he means to go on, with great grades. He makes even more friends at High School, as well as still seeing his old ones. Nick develops an interest in Martial Arts as well as an interest in music. Nick has gotten used to his life now, and loves every second of it. He continues on through High School getting good grades and even becoming a part of the school Basketball team. As he is about to finish up High School, a company named Ventech is intoduced into Angel Grove. A company that manufactures new types of technology for the world. Everything from household gadgets to military weaponry.

The Ventech company has become a part of Angel Grove's foundation now. But little did everyone know, a virus was about to break loose. A virus calling itself Venjix. It starts building a robotic army to take over the world, but one employee of Ventech, calling herself Dr. K, escaped with the newly produced Ranger Technology. She finds herself 7 individuals to harness these powers, 1 of which is Nick, who becomes Ranger Series Black. She genetically enhances all 7 Rangers, giving each of them special powers. Nick gets Super Strength. Now known as the RPM Power Rangers, Nick and his teammates are charged with stopping the virus from spreading out of Angel Grove, and defeating it before it's too late.

About 4 months have passes since the RPM Rangers were formed. Dr. K is approached by The Watcher and told of the mission to retrieve the Time Cube. One of the RPM team is needed to join the mission. Out of the team of 7, Nick volunteers himself, and Dr. K decides that he is the best choice for the job. A new adventure awaits him

Other Info - Nick has a necklace with a locket on it. The locket contains a picture of his Mom and Dad on one side, and his Brother on the other. He wears this to remind him of what's important and to keep him motivated

DTGR: I like Nick I can tell that he is heavily influenced by Dillon from RPM but that's not a hang up for me. I like the mother not making it in aspect of your story. Though I found it funny Nick wasn't that concern if his brother or father made it there. I really like to say yes to your character but, in doing so I have to accept the history you created for him. The problem is the RPM history conflicts with story line. If Venjix has taken over the world then it negates my character's tenure as Space Ranger, the fact in this timeline the Earth is still pretty much how it is now, and any potential players' character histories in real time. The RPM history while cool and amazing would not fit here. If you can change your characters RPM history then you're good as in otherwise I can't accept this character as it. I hope this makes sense and once again you're like 95% in just that history issue.

Personality: : Robby is mostly a loner he likes to keep to himself. He is brave, headstrong, and quick thinking. He can be neat and precise about everything he does. Robby takes pride in everything he does. One of things Robby has to work on is working with a team. He never understood team work even when he played sports but with martial arts it was just him and that is what made him like it so much he didn’t have to count on anybody. It was all him. History: Robby was born to Robert and Mary Long just normal people how worked hard. Robby's father worked for Bio Labs in researching the ranger powers and his mother stayed at home with Robby. At a young age Robby was always at his mother’s hip but as time went on Robby started to wonder alone. He sometimes got in trouble for going off. At the age of 5 Robert Long decided it was time for his son to learn something that would help put order in his life and that was martial arts. His father was able to get Wes Collins, and Eric Myers to take some time from there day teach his son. As years went by and Robby got older he took up other things but never gave up on martial arts and everyday after school Robby would go to Bio labs to train with Wes and Eric it was his way having friends and with Martial arts he was always the best in his mind.

It is in Junior High where Robby started to be a loner and not socialize with people. Robby was being made fun off by the other students for him always being the teacher’s pet which would always make him angry. He had always had angry issues but normal Robby could keep them in check and control it. Robby didn’t have any friends so he studies for the grades and went to Patrice Martial every day and that was it. He never plays sports many because he doesn't work well with others. He felt that by being on a team meant that he had count on others to win and that never was the way he wanted to do anything it was just easier to do things by himself and with that attitude is why he had no friends.

On the First day of High School is when things went from bad to worse on Robby. A boy by the name of Jason Johnson had being teasing Robby for years but something about to day made Robby loose his temper and fight broke out. Robby won the fight and was now for the first time in some serous trouble. When he got home his parents where shock at what happened at school but told what happen and his parents where still not happy with what happen but a least understood. Robby went to see Eric and told what happen and then Eric told him about his life that is when Eric and Robby became close friends. Robby had always felt him and Eric where alike.

Robby had just graduated High school with top honors. Robby decided what he wanted to do work for the Silver Guardians and help people in needed. Robby knew the Silver Guardians where a team but he felt he could just work alone and do things his way. But the one thing that but he didn’t count on was Eric and Wes knew Robby had to work well with others and not lose his temper. Eric told Wes that he would take Robby under his wing and help him along with the training. It was a year after Robby joined when he showed Eric what he had to give. Eric and Robby where called to a robber where the robber was holding a women hostage in the store, with out thing or waiting for the other Guardians Robby ran in through the back door and took out the robber with out hurting the hostage this gave showed Eric that Robby had what it took to be a ranger and that was but other people before yourself. When the Watcher came to recruit Eric for the mission Eric decided to send Robby. Eric knew that Robby would be the best chance as the New Quantum Ranger.

TD: First let me say thank you for applying for my RPG. Your bio has a lot of potential but there a few things I would like for you to address before I can make my final decision. 1.)I would like for you to expand Robby's personality. I have a small idea of what he is like but the character seems a bit flat. 2.) Robby's history similar to his personality seems a bit flat. I would like for you to expand the history as well. Let me clarify this does not mean just to make it longer but to very descriptive of Robby's journey. What did Robby do at Bio Labs? What did practicing Martial Arts mean to Robby? I like to see a progression of Robby's Loner persona and his anger issue. Finally what qualities did Eric see in Robby that made him feel comfortable passing his morpher to Robby. 3.)While my spelling and grammar is not the best in the world there were few in your bio. I'm not a huge stickler for grammar but please go over your bio and make the necessary change. Some of the errors were distracting.

Name: Shannon Elizabeth Jones

Personality: People who do not know Shannon often think she is one of the luckiest girls in the world. She is beautiful, smart; fun, talented has a large social circle, and is a cheerleader. What people don't know is Shannon is a very guarded person due to some loses in her life. Shannon also has a tendency to be very crass and rude when she thinks people are not being fair and honest with her and themselves. Shannon acts as the moral compass and inspiration to many of her friends. Shannon hates when people treat people unjustly. She is an advocate for the "meek ones", regardless if the issue affects her directly she is ready to fight because she knows us all brothers and sisters. Shannon uses her passion for music and writing to express her negative emotions.

History: Shannon was a mild manner kid until her mom Carmen was killed in a car accident when she was 15 years old. Her mom was on her way to pick her up from school when another driver who was running late decided to run a red light and crash right into Carmen's car killing her instantly. After the funeral Shannon shut down, her farther Major Frank Jones US Army was unable to stay around to grieve with her (yet another lost in Shannon's mind) as he had to do a tour of duty soon after the funeral.

Shannon was under the care of Godfather, Andrew Hartford. While in the Hartford home Shannon would keep to herself. Andrew and his son Mack tried to talk to Shannon but she would speak only briefly and awkwardly ending many conversations. Mack recognizing how difficult of a time Shannon was experiencing encouraged Shannon to vent in some form. Shannon discovered her gift for writing. Mack was never allowed to read Shannon’s stories; once by accident Mack was able to get his hands on some of Shannon's writing. It was at that moment Mack understood where most of the darkness was kept at in Shannon. Shannon and Mack's friendship quickly turn into brother and sister bond. Shannon knew as long as Mack was there she would be alright.

With time Shannon felt strange feelings of moving pass her mother's death. It was strange not because it no longer hurt but, because she was losing their connection. What seem to be an out of character move, Shannon joined the cheer leading team to regain the connection. Shannon’s other interest became Andrew and Mack’s adventures across the globe. She was delighted with tales of both civilian and ranger travels. Shannon became pleasant to be around the house, she was more talkative and upbeat but still had a dark side to her.

A freed Miratrix seeking revenge breaks into to the Hartford Mansion. She knocks out Andrew and kidnaps Mack. Unaware of Shannon’s presence she leaves the place trashed. Shannon aware of the ranger base decides to take up the Pink Overdrive Tracker and rescue Mack. Remembering what Andrew had taught her about tracking individuals Shannon found Miratrix.

Mack objected to Shannon trying to fight Miratrix ordering her to leave and contact the other rangers. Shannon refuses morphing as the new Pink drive ranger Miratrix and Shannon fought much to the surprise of both Mack and Miratrix, Shannon was a decent fighter. However, Miratrix was still a strong fight and Shannon was relatively inexperienced. In the midst of the fight Shannon freed Mack and handed him his tracker. Mack returned to his Red ranger position fighting alongside Shannon the two rangers were able to defeat Miratrix.

Shannon and Mack return home where Andrew had regain consciousness. Realizing another child of his had joined the ranger rank. Andrew trained Shannon in everything from history to operating drive zords in case a new team of rangers were needed. Mack trained Shannon in fighting; her cheerleading experience came in handy while training.

A year later Frank’s tour of duty was over, Shannon moved back home. Shannon was excited for the first time after living with the Hartfords; Shannon was ready to share her feelings with her father. She had been closed up for so long and most of all she never had a chance to share as a family the grief. However, Frank's stoic, hard, cold demeanor dismiss Shannon’s attempt to share his feelings. Everything Shannon worked through at the Hartfords's home slowly returned in the cold and isolating home. Frank left for another tour increasing the distance between Shannon and him. Old enough to look over her, Shannon opts to live at home. Mack still protective over his god sister visits sporadically to make sure is ok and does not return to her dark shut in ways.

When the Watcher appeared before Mack explaining the Time Cube event, Mack suggested Shannon for the team. With encouragement and blessing from both Andrew and Mack Shannon joins the mix ranger team to fight Lord Gamma and retrieve the Time Cube pieces.

Personality - Nick was a hot tempered youngster, always getting into trouble. But once he enrolled in the Ninja Academy, he severely changed his attitude from one of recklessness to one of patience and peace. He is very level headed and will always stand up for someone he feels needs him too. Although he is now disiplined and calm, his hot headed attitude can sometimes still surface at moments of high emotion. He is very trustworthy and alot of people turn to him for advice

History - Nick was born to Holly and Peter James on August 7th 1991 in Ocean Bluff. His childhood was not a happy one. His parents never really cared for him. They were always to busy with work and other engagements to spend time with him. Instead, he grew up with his Uncle and Aunt, who were horrible people. They always made Nick feel terrible, telling him that his parents never loved him and never even wanted to have him. This would effect Nick in a big way. He became violent at school, almost like a bully. As he grew up, his violent ways seemed to get worse, starting fights for no reason.

Soon, his parents had had enough. They took him back from his Uncle and Aunt and sent him to see a psychologist. The psychologist decided that Nick's bad behaviour was a result of him wanting attention from his parents, and the influence of his Uncle and Aunt. He needed disipline in his life, to teach him right from wrong. His parents tried their best, but nick would just throw it in their face and shout abuse. They had no idea what to do to make it better.

Nick's parents heard rumours of an Academy hidden somewhere in Ocean Bluff, known as the Pai Zhuq Academy, and after seeing the local Power Rangers around, they decided that it must be real. They searched and searched, and eventually, they found it. They met with Casey, Theo and Lily, and they agreed to take Nick in as a student, and would fall under the teachings of Casey in the ways of the Tiger. Nick was reluctant, but decided to give it a try. As he enrolls, he begins a fight, which Casey quickly puts a stop to. Nick tries to attack him, but he doesn't even stand a chance. Casey puts him down hard like Master Mao did to Jarrod and tells Nick that anger never accomplishes anything, and that he could show him a world of possibilities. Nick decides that maybe there was something to the Pai Zhuq stuff after all.

A few years later, Nick has now become a different person. He is level headed, cool, calm and very docile and fun loving. Casey's influence has made him a better man. He will occasionally still get into a fight or two, but this is due to high emotion at times. He has made so many friends now and his life at home is just the way he wanted it all along. One day, a new threat has announced itself to the Pai Zhuq. Dai Shi has returned in Scorch's body, stronger than ever. Nick is then selected as a perfect candidate to become the Red Fury Ranger. A role he eagerly accepts.

Soon after, he is called upon by a being known as the Watcher to help out in a matter of grave importance

Personality Sassy and sweet she won't take bull from anyone, but knows when to lossen up. She is very kind and sweet, but has a temper to rival a demons.

History Lexi was raised by her god father. Her parents died when she was very young, she doesn't even really remember them very much. Her "dad" is Wes Collins, he had been her father's best friens when they where young. She had a pretty normal life, her sdad taught her how to protect herself from anything and everything. With him being one of the leadersof the Silver Gardians she sometimes doesn't see him very much. But she knows he'll always be there for her. She's seen some wierd things being his daughter. Like once a talking owl, but she thinks it's just perfict.

One day her dad came home and went straight to his office, no hi or anyhting. She followed him to fiond out what was wrong. He told her to wait for him in the Kitchen. He came down an hour later. Then he told her everything, how he was a ranger and everthing about it. Then he told her what had happened, his friends from the future had sent him a message, telling him that somthing had happened and his power was needed. It was time for him to pass on his Mourpher. She sat there in shock. He handed her a small box, when she opened it she saw his Mourpher and knew that he had chose her. She accepted and is now the Red Time Force Ranger!

Laine stands at about 6 ft 5. Tall for her age, she often looks down at everyone else. She prefers dressing entirely in black so as not to draw any attention to her.

Personality: Laine is a very reserved and quiet individual. She doesn't like making friends. Life on the streets has taught her to depend not on others but on herself. She is also quite agile on her feet, a trait she developed as a result of being a thief. The only thing that will anger her is if something or somebody tries to hurt her younger brothers Nathaniel and Solomon with whom she is truly close.

History:
Delaney was born on August 13, 1987 to Abraham and Reiko Carter on a Saturday night in Kyoto, Japan. She was the oldest child, the only daughter of a family of five. Her father Abraham was an army captain who was constantly stationed around the world. Her mother Reiko, a nightclub waitress and of Japanese descent, was pregnant with Solomon. When Laine turned 10, an army chaplain appeared at their front door. He had tragic news for them. Apparently Abraham was killed while out on patrol. Several months Reiko simply left for work and never returned. Laine was forced as a result to quickly grow up. Taking her brothers Nathaniel and Solomon into the streets to keep them together, Laine resorted to stealing in order to keep her siblings alive and clothed. Though she considered the idea of leaving Japan alone, Laine knew she would never leave her siblings behind willingly.

When she turned thirteen in 2000, Laine was out trying to find her next target when she bumped into the last person she expected, Will Aston. Apparently he was in Japan on a security mission. Will took Laine and her brothers back home to London. Once there he arranged for both Nathaniel and Solomon to attend a primary school and Laine to attend the local high school near his home. Fast forward to 2007.

Seven years later, Laine attended a local college and worked part-time as a sales manager She kept her friendship with Will. One day, while going to her classed at the college, Laine came across one of the Fearcats attacking. To her surprise, she saw Will fighting them. Later she confronted Will and he revealed the truth. That he used to be a Power Ranger, specifically the Black Overdrive Ranger. Several days later, Laine left on a plane heading for San Angeles to meet up with Mack and Andrew Hartford, as per Will's request.

When Andrew Hartford was contacted by the Watcher two years later, he at first thought of Rose and contacted her. Unfortunately she could not return as a Ranger due to work commitments. Andrew knew that he needed a Pink Overdrive Ranger immediately. He settled on asking Laine and she accepted.
