Female Kamen Rider

We know that we had a female Kamen Rider (Femme) in Ryuki (the movie). Would you want to see more female Kamen Riders?

Femme from Ryuki was only in the movie not during the series.

Usually the Kamen Rider series is viewed for boys and the characters as Kamen Rider are always male. Its very rare that there is a female as a Kamen Rider but would be mostly be in a movie

I want more female riders but I also want more transforming boys in shoujo,who follow the same naming conventions. I mean Sailor Moon was good but they had a rule that said No Male Senshi! Since when has Kamen Rider ever done that?

Yuri, Megumi and Mihori were in male-meant suits, which still looked male post-henshin. Really the only female Kamen rider suits were Femme (Ryuki Movie), L'Arc (Blade Movie) and Shuki (Hibiki).

I created a thread that explains: Several of the Kamen Riders over the last few years have been somewhat effeminate. (Drake, R-Ryutaros, Wataru). Instead of making female Riders they make emasculated male ones.

It's hard for a show that generally focuses on one or two heroes to have a fighting female lead.

Hana, Megumi and Natsumi were pretty strong, liberated women, How much do you really have to complain about?

I am split, in one way, female riders have always been a fanservice within itself. But I was surprised Dragon Knight made the bold move to try and attempt to make Femme from being a smurfette to something more like Shuki from Hibiki. I stick by tradition of Kamen Rider being a mostly guy role only along with Green/Black/Red Rangers being guys only

The last time we had a TV chick rider, it didn't gone so well for the ratings. Kamen Riders has always been kind of men only.

So what.Like stated before Yuri & Megumi both transformed into Ixa yet the suit looked the same.Did you miss episode 4 & 5 where a kid Wataru transformed into kiva?Decade only transformed into Kabuto,Faiz & Hibiki suits he didnt change into Tendou,Takumi or Adachi.

More female riders would be nice. I doubt that Toei would ever let there be a main female rider, but a (consistent) female support rider would be a welcome change.

I pondered this question when I started on the KR series. Why not? As long as the character is likeable, I don't think there should be any problem with that. I don't want to see some mega deep-dark crap in a female KR, because that's always overdone in action media (take Lana Lang). Something down-to-earth would be cool. I'd love to see a female rider like that throughout the series.

I created a female Rider, Kamen Rider Spirit, in my fanfic Kamen Rider MVP.

The Rider's name is Natsuki Nomo (after the baseball player because the theme is sports) Her boyfriend, Daisuke, is the titular Kamen Rider MVP. She is a cheerleader at Tokyo University. Her 12-year-old brother Dan is a genius who is in the same grade as her. For most of the series, she is the damsel in distress
Natsuki becomes Spirit after the Pirate Mascoundrel (Mascoundrels, living mascot monsters, are the villains of MVP) makes every male in Tokyo University (beside her prepubescent brother) want to sexually assault any woman nearby. The Angel Mascoundrel, in disguise as a new student, befriends Natsuki. When she eventually objects to Pirate's tactics, MVP attacks Natsuki and Pirate goes in for the kill, but Angel takes the hit. Angel then becomes the Spirit Knuckles and gives Natsuki the power to become Kamen Rider Spirit. All this takes place with less than 12 episodes before series end.

when i was a kid i was scanning the cable channel when i stumble upon a chinese or japanese channel where i saw ultraman (ultraman tiga was popular at that time) so i watched it even though i didn't understand it as the story goes there's like a child ultraman who got lost so his mother went looking for him (the mother ultrawoman looked so feminine and had a crown) that's what i remember

Oh we didn't see her transform then. I think they're actually being OK for female riders at the moment. We just got Natsumi possessed by Ryutaros,even if she did only have Ryutaros' voice. And don't say it "doesn't count". She's female and she's a Kamen Rider!
I'm just having this vision of this female riders club and Femme saying to 86 IXA
"Sorry,you can't come in. Otoya used to wear that suit!"

You should just be grateful just for a female rider that hasn't got some kind of deep dark problem and then gets killed in rider form! Yuri died off-screen after returning the IXA Knuckle to Otoya who then died anyway,and because of that we didn't have to deal with seeing one of the few female riders being killed and then having Otoya going"Well,
just shows you,women can't be Kamen Riders!"

Later on in my Ranger War fanfic,I'm gonna have a female red ranger. I won't say what series because then you'll work it out but it will be fun.
