Okay, for the areas in this RPG I think we should go to some more places. Does anyone have ideas for it?

I agree. I would come up with some but I want to see if anybody else has any ideas. There are still other places like an arctic area or the ruins of a city like New York or something that we could possibly take a trip to eventually. Maybe thats where we could have our final war at the end of the game.

Rand's sister is actually captured before the story starts. One of the missions could be to rescue her.

She played a major role in Rand's life until she disappeared. You'll see once I write my history.

If you ever played the PSone RPG, Legend of the Dragoon, that whole part is similar to the one where they searched through the castle to free that one girl, whose name escapes me. But yeah, we free alot of characters during that time which will allow that to tie in.

That sounds like a nice idea, but did you have a name for the sky cities yet or you just left it as that?

There are other sky cities but the only one we'll use is the largets of all, which is called the Sanctum. It passes over the Gatta Badlands every 3 months and captures some Chaos carriers for slave labor.

Also, The Sanctum tracking me via my power is something that is very likely and could potentially play into my characters motives.


Also, kudos to anyone who gets my name. The two names are a combination of two of my favorite book characters (Rand is a first name, Cypher a last name.

That is a good addition to your character Shadow and it will most likely be used. It would work pretty well seeing as the Sanctum doesnt know where the village of the Gatta Badlands is even though they pass over it. The fact that you use your powers could draw them to us. But the thing is I dont want that to happen until later so if you want to minimize the use of your powers you can. If not, we can work out a way to allow you to use it without compromising the position of the village.

BTW Rand is from Wheel of Time but I'm not sure where Cypher is from. I thought the fact that his name Rand was just a coincidence but I guess not lol.

Sorry I haven't posted in here yet, but I was trying to think of something constructive to say, lol.

After reading Deadpool's profile, I was thinking that he and Blaze could have a running gag. Something like when Tinmin gets derrogatory toward the Fleshy one or whatever it is, Blaze could take offense and threaten to melt him into a pile of scrap. Then someone else breaks them up and tells them to knock it off.

Also, storylinewise, since I can't think of anything else, maybe Blaze meets his long lost mother in the Sanctum or something along those lines. Just an idea.

Sure GPR. As for team relations, we can go ahead and make Blaze and Tinmin worst enemies. I was thinking maybe we could get to a point where maybe Tinmin gets programmed by the Sanctum into killing the Sigmas but we eventually turn him back and maybe more of his emotions return or something. That would work.

But yeah, thats a good idea for the Sanctum arc GPR, but I wanted to save that particular part for way later in the game mainly because its meant to be a very big part of the story. Lets get creative with it and come up with some stuff that involves us traveling. Maybe a treasure arc could be good or something.

As to you comments concerning him meeting the other Sigmas and arriving in the Gatta Badlands. I'm just gonna say that the meeting was relatively unremarkable and he's just kinda there when the game begins.

I think a good idea for my character is to be the dark brooding character that everyone thinks has weak powers (he's keeping the Sanctum from tracking him) until he unleashes his powers to show them he is their equal.

I find it hard to pull off a character that looks down on others, just because I myself am a guy who sees everyone as equal. You can do it, but my character wont necessarily participate in the stereotype. He'll most likely treat him as an equal, but will be pleasantly suprised to find out that Rand has extra power and is of more use to them.

In a few days I'm going to allow OrionUchiha make his female profile. If its good then we can officially start but still before that, we have to plan out how we want the series to go. I know how I want it to start, but its our job to figure out where it will lead.

Here's an interesting story about where I got the idea for this RP from. I originally wanted it to be a book series but I scrapped it and whenever I scrap a book series, it ends up becoming an original RPG on this site. But this RP in particular was inspired years ago by an episode of the Rugrats. It was the episode where the sky was falling and while they all hid in a little shelter, Chuckie asked what was going to become of them. Thats when Angelica came up with this epic story where they were riding in makeshift vehicles and wearing desert-ware, zooming across the desert and into an abandoned city where they played with all of the toys in the stores and stuff. It was just one small clip but for years i've come up with various ideas based on that one clip and eventually this version was decided. There you go!

Concerning that scene of the rugrats, I remember exactly what you're talking about and most of my ideas, like you, have come from shows like that and a lot of anime. The only thing weird about that or normal thing for that matter is that I would of expected that you'd take something as childish as rugrats and base an RP off of it. lol, jk

Yeah its wierd that I got this idea from that but its an entirely different story though. Its just inspired by it not based. There is a female making her bio right now but it was off and I told her to fix it. If she doesnt fix it soon, then you can make your female role but if she fixes it, then you wont have to worry about it. You can still have her as a character but she'll just interact with you when you're playing as Crimson instead of you playing from her point of view.

She cant really be that young. I actually didnt mention this but established it in my mind so sorry but your character has to be at least 13 to be able to drive a motorcycle in this world. It'd be pretty hard for her to keep up when the Sigmas are having meetings and stuff during the beginning if she's too young and cant understand whats going on, even if she is smart for her age. But yeah I would like her to be a little bit older. Like my character is 19. Infact when I send my message to report, I'll have you state the age of your character so you wont have to worry.

Your character is in if you check the Casting Call area. Alright we're ready to begin. First to plan how this is going to go out. I have a number of ideas.

The first part of the game will be about the characters meeting up in the HQ of the Sigma Mercenaries. There they will discuss different ways of how to deal with the Storm Devils. The suggestions and ideas that they make will reveal the nature of the characters that you've created. Soon after, the characters will hang out and get attacked by the Storm Devils and have to fight right there in the village. There the Mercenaries will get defeated and have to plan a retaliation strategy to take them down and we go after them and take them out. This is just the first part.

Now these are ideas of how to proceed after this phase:

- We can have one of the characters get lost and end up in the Aqua Forest, the Jungle area formerly known as the Amazon, where legend has it, there is a strange creature that devours its victims and leaves their bodies in a very detailed collage of death art. The character dies(this will be an unimportant side character not one of us) and we travel through here and find the collage but find that the creature isnt really a creature but an organization of humans dedicated to terrorizing and killing chaos humans. The Sigmas are forced to take down the organization as well as trying their hardest to survive. In this alot of unplayed characters will be murdered. The organization is meant to be like the KKK of the Chaos Era.

Rumor has it that a treasure is located on the outskirts of the Gatta Badlands(which is BTW formerly known as the Austrailian Outback). The Mercenaries find out that Edmond Kelly has a map to the treasure which would take the seeker through various deserts, through the cold mountain areas formerly known as the Himalayas, and eventually to the ruined city which they later discover is New York City. Here they learn alot about the culture before them and before the Chaos Era. The Mercenaries decide to take the trip but are on a race to find the treasure before the Devils find it it first. They finally find the place where the treasure is meant to be held which is in the ruins of Central Park but they discover that it has already been uncovered by the humans.

They soon discover that the treasure was originally buried by Edmond Kelly and Quince Barton, who led a group of renegades that stole from rivals and kept their fortune hidden as they grew older and proceeded to live normal lives. They learn that the Sky City of the Sanctum's Mayor, Virgil Ex, tortured Quince into giving up the location of the treasure. Quince gives the Mercenaries a large sum of money for their efforts once they return.

If anyone else has any ideas for storylines that we can explore be free to post them here. Just make sure its not a story involving us going after the Sanctum or the sky cities. I have big plans for that part. It can however involve normal humans or something like that. Either way, I'll approve it and if I do we'll see what everyone else thinks of it. If you'd like to add some stuff to the two storylines that I have above, just let me know.

UPDATE: We've got an added character thats working as an ally. The bio isnt finished but if you'd like to see some of the information in it, check the casting call.

How about I'm forced to use my powers to their full extent in the battle with the Storm Devils. Thus allerting the Sanctum to our location. Sanctum doesn't have to come then, but it would set up a later storyline.

That would be pretty cool. The only thing is the Upper Society can just send out a fleet of enemies to come and find them at any possible time, so it cant happen in the battle with the Storm Devils, otherwise that would throw us into battle at that very moment. But as for your power, it would be cool if your character used certain aspects of his power but displays its true nature later on. Your character has to be able to use his power as they fight. The only thing is, when you use its true nature thats what causes the Upper Society to detect our location and that is what throws us into the battle with the Upper Society. Basically your character using his powers will have to exist right before that battle.

Also ShadowPaladin, you forgot to tell us the age of your character.

How about my two characters, Kirin and Orion get seperated by a cruel twist of getting caught up in battle. They eventually meet back up again but this has to be at least close to the middle of the story. In the battle with the Storm Devils, who is going to be playing those parts? When I usually play RP's or RPG's, sometimes, we will have to play more than the original characters we intended to play or are you going to play all those extar parts?

To your question, you will basically be playing the Storm Devils too because you'll be squaring off with a rival but you'll be playing as your character as he fights one of the devils so you're kind of playing as both but mostly your own character. Also you're welcome.

Well originally I planned on having the Storm Devils be like when the Power Rangers fight their enemies on bikes and stuff, and sometimes the enemies have bikes too. We were gonna be fighting multiple enemies on bikes but we can still do that only we'll have rivals to take care of above all. So sure you can have rivals. For the powers, yes all chaos humans have powers so you can do that too. If you guys cant think of anything you dont have to worry about it though. Its not required in your rival. In fact, if you cant think of a rival, dont worry about that either. You can just fight multiple enemies. Its up to you.

Thats how things have to be to allow this story to thrive the way it should. Alright, like I said before, the story has to begin with the characters riding around town a little bit and then making it toward the HQ which is in the cave village of the Gatta Badlands. Other than that, here is the story so far:

Act 1

Chapter 1: Ride or Die

The Sigma Mercenaries of the Gatta Badlands are at war with their rivals, the Storm Devils. After a meeting on how to deal with them, they are viciously attacked by them and suffer a few casualties. After being defeated, the Sigmas must work together for an equally viscious assault against the Storm Devils. The battle causes the death of the leader of the Storm Devils, and the appointment of the most skillful leader of the Devils yet, San Dize.

Chapter 2: Brotherhood Compromise

In a scouting mission, one of the rookie Sigmas gets lost in the Aqua Forest where it is said that a strange evil creature kills those lost in it and adds them to their collage of dead bodies. Ignoring the warnings, the 7 delegates(us) of the Sigma Mercenaries travel to the forest which is more like a jungle. While there, they get seperated but each of them catch a glimpse of the collage signifying that the killings are true. They also find the dead body of the rookie Sigmas among them. As they try to escape each are kidnapped one by one and wake up among a group of people who call themselves, Chaos Slayers. The leader, a woman named Kar Omega, tells them that their main objective is to terminate all Chaos Carriers. When asked why, she responds by telling them that only humans are perfect and Chaos Carriers who carry abilities that they shouldnt have, dont deserve to live. She believes that intelligence overpowers abilities at all times and believes that Populous(normal) humans are the purest form of mankind and Chaos humans are a burden to society. Eventually, Quince Barton and a group of the cave village enforcers arrive to kill many of the Chaos Slayers and rescue the Sigmas but Kar manages to get away. In a thrilling chase out of the Aqua Forest, the Chaos Slayers battle the Sigmas and the enforcers until they are able to get back to the Gatta Badlands and into Chaos Territory where it is safe.

Chapter 3: The Lost World

Chapter 4: Resurrection
A traveler with a talking mechanic bird makes his way to the cave village to make a living. He meets the Sigmas and introduces himself as Yasir No. He does not tell them more than that but hints that he knows more. Eventually the cave village is once again attacked by the Storm Devils and they kidnap Yasir. The Sigmas plan an attack strategy to get him back. Once they attack the place the battle is won but one of the 7 delegates is mortally wounded in the battle and dies at the scene. As they grieve, Yasir goes to his/her body and brings him back to life with his healing powers. Once they make their way back to the cave village, Shane makes the decision to make Yasir an honorary member of the Sigmas.
Soon after, though, they are confronted by a mysterious man named Deordi who is asking for Yasir. Yasir learns that the man was looking for him and he asks the Sigmas to help keep him hidden. After a while, Deordi injects himself with a strange liquid and transforms himself into a vicious monster that wreaks havoc in the cave village. Feeling guilty of what he's caused, Yasir decides to show himself and faces off against Deordi. The Sigmas agree to help him and but they lose the battle and Deordi flees to a location where he waits to face off against Yasir once and for all. During the recovery period, Yasir tells the Sigmas about his legacy with the Bergundy Riders and how they were once servants for the humans of the Sky Cities. He tells the Sigmas that they would kidnap Chaos humans and help the populous humans extract the chaos genes from them and use it to power their cities, create an army of super soldiers, and power a new machine that will be used to exterminate the Chaos humans in one fatal swoop. The former Chaos humans are then forced into slave labor for the cities. Soon the Bergundy Riders learned what their actions were causing them and the 6 of them broke apart and went to war with each other, one side supporting the populous humans and the other opposing them. Eventually it came down to 3, Yasir No, Deordi, and a third, Waku-Kra, who has yet to be seen. After a discussion with each other, the group came to the decision to help Yasir take care of Deordi once and for all. They travel deep into the Badlands in the middle of the night, as a storm approaches. In the powerful rain, Yasir and the Sigmas work together to bring down Deordi but most of the Sigmas are knocked out in the process. Suddenly they are confronted by mysterious woman who works together with Yasir to bring down Deordi. The woman who is revealed to be Waku-Kra shows that she is the one causing the storm and uses her lightning powers to bring down Deordi but he retaliates and knocks out Yasir and Waku-Kra.
One delegate, Rand Cypher, realizes that Waku-Kra is actually his sister, Alice and in a rage, he throws Deordi into another dimension using the full extent of his gravitational powers. When the battle is over, Alice and Rand are reunited and she tells him of her induction into the Bergundy Riders after being kidnapped and how they broke up and went to war with each other for all of those years that they were apart. But she also warns him that they can track him by his powers and that he may have compromised the location of the Chaos humans in the Gatta Badlands, which was previously believed to be uninhabited.

Chapter 5: Invasion of the Populous
A few days after the death of Deordi, the Populous discovered that the Gatta Badlands were inhabited, and during the annual passing of the Sanctum, hundreds of Sky Pods fall from the sky and attack all of the inhabitants of the Gatta Badlands and the cave village. For the first time ever, the Sigma Mercenaries and the Storm Devils must work together to fight them but the soldiers of the Sanctum use their enhanced technology to fight them and despite putting up a good fight, the Chaos humans lose the battle. The cave village is completely destroyed and all of the Chaos humans, including the Sigmas and the Devils are kidnapped by the Populous.

Thanx for reminding us of that GPR. I greatly appreciate it. I also changed some of the stuff about the stories including the fact that San Dize dies. He'll stay alive for Chapter 5 as Shane's rival because in Chapter 6 is meant to unite the rivals as allies.

Ok here are some things I have to stress:

1. You guys need to pay attention to my posts. I said that I put the chains away. A couple of you just saw that there were chains there and left them there in your post. You guys have to pay attention to whats going on before you make your post.

2. When you, yourself, are talking about a character, you can use their real name, but when your character is talking to another character you use their code name. If you dont understand this just tell me and I'll explain it further.

They aren't really intended for a deeper storyline, they're just there to be a bit of a supporting cast for Tinmin.

Occupation: Tavern Owner

Personality: Tough as nails, yet gentle and caring. She's probably just about the only person who can bear Tinmin for more than a couple minutes. She hates being called baby. Its probably the only thing that can really set her off into a violent frenzy. Tinmin is legitimatly afraid of her.
History: Ayla Gayle was once a member of the Tornado Guild, a small guild of security enforcers. However, after he father Frank Gayle died, she left the body guard job to run his Tavern, Baum's, named after her Grandfather who started it.

Ayla never had a single problem with patrons or anything, that is until the strange and mechanical man named Tinmin showed up. After that night, she had problems left and right. But still, he's saved her bacon more times than she's willing to admit.

Occupation: Bartender

Personality: Kind of a pushover. He doesn't really like confrontation, however if pushed, he can kick some ass for reals.
History: Martus is another former member of the Tornado Guild. However he didn't leave until much more recently. The reason for his change in career wasn't for a reason other than he and his wife split up and she was higher ranking in the guild so he left so that there wouldn't be any awkwardness between them. So he took up his old protege's job offer and became the newest Bartender at Baum's.

Name: Scarerow
Age: Old
Occupation: Local Drunkard

Personality: Very absent minded. He often forgets what he is saying mid-sentance. He's rarely ever seen outside of Baum's, leading many to believe that he actually lives there.

Deadpool, your character bios are pretty good and they'll make a good addition to the ally list. The only thing is when the characters come in they have to be with Tinmin, they cant have individual adventures of their own and stuff. That wouldnt be fair to the other players.

To ShadowPaladin, its all good in the hood man. Just get yourself up to date with the stories on page 6 of this thread, and you'll see the stuff I added about Alice and Waku-Kra which PowerOnyx speaks of.

Update: GPR has created a very creative map of the Pangaea landscape which we will be using for the story. I'll allow him to post it on here so you guys can see it.

OrionUchiha, your balance of characterization between Orion and Kirin are really good.

GPR, your stuff is going perfectly and you're setting things up for me in ways that make the story flow very smoothly.

Question: Ryssa is exactly as I imagined her and her fued with Orion is very entertaining to read.

Deadpool: Tinmin is a great character, as are those other characters. I didnt know robots could get intoxicated lol.

ShadowPaladin: You post was really good. I like to see your use of powers and you followed directions perfectly, well done.
