What do you think of the episode?

It was pretty good. I wonder who his sister is... *cough* Tenaya *cough*
Wasn't Dr. K supposed to call the rangers by their real names? While Dillon, Summer, and Ziggy were listening to the battle, she called Scott and Flynn by their ranger color again lol.

Nice episode, I've got a hunch that Tenaya is Dillion's sister.
I liked the zord fight at the end.

This episode was pretty nice: it even went back and tied-in to earlier aspects (e.g. Ziggy's shadow puppets (I was wondering if they were ever going to use those...)). Gem and Gemma are unorthodox...but childish; not a trait I really admire but, cest la vie.
This episode got a 3/5 (not terrible/awesome, but good, IMO).

The shadow puppets made their epic return, so I squealed in the middle of the bar. Hah! Great episode! :D
Legendary.

Thought it did a good job at advancing the story. Ziggy/Dillion interaction is still the best on the show. I was kind of hoping that one of the twins would venture out their with them but eh...
Scott complaining to Flynn was win as well.

I concur, good episode!
Dillions background is being explored and I think the realized that Gem and Gemma aren't as easy to handle as they thought. Plus, Shadow Puppets!!! Oh, and everyone going AWOL on Scott except Flynn!

I love Gem and Gemma so, so much.
More now that we know they're a teensy bit psycho.

Glad I'm not the only one who's thinking that. (:
It would make sense, because Dillon's sister is blind, and Tenaya is always wearing that visor. Most blind people I know wear sunglasses. For what reason, I don't know.
Legendary.

*is waiting for Tenaya to figure out her own memories and have Venjix lay it on her with the Verbal beat down :] *

Still no morphing sequence for Gem and Gemma, come on. Seeing everyone go AWOL on Scott makes me think he's a bad leader who can't manage his team.
Legendary.

Or that Scott's team is a bad team. 3 of the 5 core rangers went to look for fragments of memories...
Gold and Silver wanted everything to go BOOM!
Scott wanted to stay behind knowing that the city needed to be protected considering they were getting their asses handed to them earlier and he wanted to make sure his team was safe.

Are we going to get any real back-story on Gold and Silver. Eh, no problem with their stuff always going boom, but really...

Look at Gemma at the start, you can tell by her facial expression that she's crazy. Of course, it's already obvious that both her and Gem are insane!
And at last we return to the Dillon story. See, unlike Nick**** Force, RPM actually knows how to focus on one character but not push everyone else aside. In fact, everyone gets their time in the spotlight!
Flynn is awesome. Remember this!
Overall, a strong 5/5. RPM's been on high ground for a while now. Lets hope it can keep it up as we approach the EP changeover.

I loved the episode. The scene with Ziggy and Dillon in the car was awesome, and SHADOW PUPPETS YAY!!!! Anyway Scott to me is a great leader, and my all time fav Red Ranger. And hey Im sure Tenaya's Dillon's sis, I kinda figured this out way before anyone thought of it, in the earlier eps, when they didn't even mention Dillon having a sis. See its simple, Both Dillon and Tenaya are humans with robot technology inside 'em, everytime there's a fight, Tenaya always fights with Dillon, so it was obvious the two had some relation. Back then I used to think she was either his sis, wife or girlfriend. But now its pretty obvious she's Dillon's sis. And I've got this feeling that he tune in the watch will make Tenaya remember who she is.

Yes, and I can see two reasons for this: first, when she called them by their colors, it was while they were in battle; second, perhaps it's just an old habit that's hard to break! (After all, she has done the whole "protect myself from emotional trauma" thing for over a year.)
Legendary.

Oh she and Ziggy are so gonna hook up and it's gonna be cute.

I can't get enough of that scene at the end of "In or Out." Doctor K comes over to Ziggy ... Ziggy gives her a radiant smile, and her eyes are absolutely shining!!
Doc K/Ziggy all the way!

This episode was good but not great. The whole thing with Dillon, Summer, and ziggy(sounds like a fanfiction) was pretty cool, but the rest of the episode felt rushed, and the Zord fight was far to short.
Plus Gem and Gemma have not beeen shot in the head yet, so thats a minus.

Episode 17. PRISONERS
Date Aired: July 11, 2009
Rating: 5/5
This episode cemented something we’ve known since “Doctor K.” Gem and Gemma are officially insane. Insane, I tell you! How long were the Shiny Twins stranded in the wastelands? Well over a year. To hear them talk about their experiences as prisoners in the factory, forced to work unbearable hours under unspeakable conditions, with such smiles on their faces! Oh, to hear them humming happily as they mixed that self-detonating putty! And they were going to blow up the factory with all the prisoners inside! When they learned someone important to Dillon was a prisoner there, they cheerfully said “we were just going to destroy it from suborbit, but sure, we can go rescue your sister!” To say nothing of the “rainbows and unicorns” map Gem and Gemma drew and the butterfly note they left for Doctor K. Yes, Gem and Gemma are insane. And I love it. Though this raises an interesting issue: Gem and Gemma’s “shoot first and ask questions later” mentality is probably going to lead to some serious problems down the line.
The A plot involved (what else) a Venjix attack bot. I’m not sure what the point of the whole “it looks like a giant ball of yarn” was, but it did lead to more fun Ziggy/Flynn interaction. I wouldn’t mind seeing a knitting needle zord sometime. The battle with the Sawbot was cool, and it was even freaky the way the attack bot came out of nowhere at Ranger Green. Very horror movie-like. I liked how Doctor K actively monitored the battle. Two complaints with this part of the show: first, for an attack bot that had the Rangers on the ropes, Gold and Silver sure didn’t have all that much trouble with it.
The B plot was what really added the color to this episode! We know now that the mystery girl in Dillon’s dreams is his sister. Can we even not assume his sister is Tenaya? (’Course who knows; they could throw us a curveball and have his sister be someone completely new, while Tenaya is just another old attack bot. Doubtful, but who knows? They’ve certainly thought outside the box before during this season.) So Dillon and Ziggy go on a road trip! As Dillon drives, our Ranger Operator Series Green, in supreme Ziggy fashion, rehashes the good times he and his friend had on their first road trip together. Continuity! I should add that Ziggy follows Dillon on this adventure – that he wants to go help Dillon rescue his sister – which speaks depths of the friendship these two young Rangers have worked to build.
In an amazing twist, Dillon and Ziggy are attacked by Grinders (sarcasm noted, I seriously hope). They are saved by Summer (whom I didn’t see on her motorcycle; I may have missed it though), who hijacks one of the Grinders’ bikes and uses it to destroy the other footsoldiers; she then immediately calls shotgun in Dillon’s car as they go about their mission to liberate the prisoners. Two possible options here: if Summer did ride her motorcycle out of Corinth, she left it there after the battle with the Grinders (and still didn’t pick it up again after the failed mission, as she was still in the car); or she reached Dillon and Ziggy’s location on foot. This may possibly have been the case if the guys weren’t all that far out of Corinth yet, but it’s a stretch. It seemed more of a plot contrivance to get Summer there.
There was an episode of In Space; two episodes actually, the “Dark Specter’s Revenge” duology, in which the evil monarch of the United Alliance demanded that Astronema be returned to him and programmed an asteroid to crash into Earth to see that his demands were met. When Karone was captured aboard the Dark Fortress, Andros and Zhane snuck aboard the fortress and disguised themselves as Quantrons to try and rescue her: but they were too late and were forced to flee. And in the episode before the epic finale trilogy of Lost Galaxy, “Escape the Lost Galaxy,” Mike infiltrates Captain Mutiny’s slave camp in order to free the other prisoners. Both episodes were awesome (I’m rewatching them tonight thanks to the wonders of YouTube), and this episode had that feel. I LOVED the exchange between the Rangers when they decide Ziggy’s going to be the distraction, how Summer took Ziggy’s cap off and Dillon ruffled his hair. Too cute! We find out that Dillon’s sister was definitely here (which we already knew from Gem and Gemma), but unfortunately our discoveries are cut short (which I’ll get to in a moment). Shadow puppets! Good thing Dillon broke Ziggy out of prison way back when, eh?
The zord battle was short and to the point, but with so many other things going on, whatever works, I guess. I did enjoy the victory pose of Zenith with Gold and Silver (the chicken and the tiger!) flying above. Then we find out what the real purpose of the factory was – they’re building a doomsday weapon that from the looks of that diagram (and the opening credits) will give Gem and Gemma a Megazord to work with. While this is a interesting cliffhanger to go out on, though, I would have been more floored by finding out who Dillon’s sister is. Instead, we learn that Dillon’s sister was in the factory (from Gem and Gemma), only to go to the actual factory and learn that … well, that Dillon’s sister was there. Since it looks like they’re going back next episode, I’ll give it until then, but I’m expecting some followthrough on that storyline.
Scott Truman, Ranger Operator Series Red, if I was to appoint Syd to be the Red Ranger, do you think you could actually be a more effective Ranger? How about an effective leader? Coz all we saw this episode was Scott whining about how his orders were never followed, telling his teammates they had attitude problems, and so on. Get your head together, Truman, or I’m demoting you to Dunce Squad!
For pure enjoyment, five out of five. Minus one for plot contrivance (Summer’s bike) and missed opportunity (Dillon’s sister?), plus one again for some great nods to continuity.

'Prisoner' is a good episode. We learn that Dillion has a sister who was once a prisoner/slave of the bad guys. Gem and Gemma wanted to get their hands on the bad guys and destroy them. Will they be able to do it? only a future episode can tell us that.
