Will it be yet another alternate universe?

I suppose that depends on whether we'll see previous characters I mean if we see previous characters then it can't take place in an alternate universe like RPM and Dino Charge do.

I am afraid it might after watching the first episode. Since the term Power Ranger doesn't seem to be widely known. And it feels like the Ninja Steel team is meant to be the first PR team of this universe. My only hope is if we get returning characters as rumored. Unless they come from another world like in" Clash Of The Red Rangers".

As long its part of the multiverse it wouldn't bother me. It just expands the PRU into one big multiverse. And many seasons still and likely will take place in the original PRU.

Pretty soon we could have Power Rangers Sliders Force.

As long as they don't start writing off the Slider Rangers and ripping off move plots in Super Sliders.

Well two small seasons wouldn't make them last long enough to go that root. I doubt Jerry O'Connel will play the mentor.

No he will just be some new character just called, the Professor.

You guys have me marking out. I loved sliders. And to be serious for a sec, the concept of dimension hopping Rangers is a good one.

There is definitely a PRM. This was established all the way back in the new PR movie. And despite being difference, Saban's Power Rangers will still be in the PRM.

I wonder if Zordon went to all these different universes?

Most likely since he was an interdemsnional being.

Its very likely Zordon visited these universes and may have even connected some of the au Ranger's powers to the Morphing Grid ( which each universe seems to have a variation of one). Even if it eas before the powers fell in these Ranger's hands. I do think its concerning the more they move away from the original PRU. As one of the strengths of the franchise has always been the expansive PRU. Any AUs should play minor roles not whole seasons. Movies are a different story and are acceptable if they are true to the mythos of the show.

I think it would be a big mistake. AUs should be reserved for special moments. It made sense for RPM. They were stretching it with Super Dino Charge. Doing it with Ninja Steel feels needless.

I really hope so. Its pretty annoying when they don't have a season or movie take place in the main continuity. I can understand a more adult movie like Saban's Power Rangers doing its own thing ( too bad that movie looks to be bad) but changing the normal seasons is just silly.
