Could the Turbos really have gone on a secret mission as Zeo?

I wonder if the first Turbo Rangers didn't really retire? They could have gave up the Turbo Powers to re-assume the Zeo Powers for a mission Zordon and Dimitria had for them which would take them away from Angel Grove and possibly Earth. Rocky could easily assume the Zeo Powers since he never became a Turbo Ranger.

I usually hate Fanfic-like speculation but I have to admit this is a cool idea that would make "Passing Of The Torch" make a lot of sense.

It did seem like we missed an episode between "Honey I Shrunk The Rangers" and "Passing Of The Torch." Something had to happen or have been revealed off screen to cause the change in Rangers.

I wish Jason could have joined them as the Gold Ranger but that is unlikely.

It probably indirectly would lead to Tommy creating Hexagon post Zordon. Or be part of Tommy getting the idea.

I like the idea of the original Turbo Team going Zeo again. I hope it is part of PRU Canon somehow.

Its more likely the Zeo Crystal itself was moved. I think the Turbos really retired.

This is a good idea. Since it did seem odd for the old Rangers to have to retire and give their powers to newbies.

I think they were sent to protect another planet. There had to be something there that was important. Forcing the Turbos to go back to Zeo and Investigate.

This is a good idea. It would be cool of the first Turbo Rangers did become Zeo and went on a secret mission for Zordon.
