Cruger was Tommy's protege

I think Cruger was Tommy's protege. He really fights like him. It would make sense for Tommy to pass the torch to someone and Cruger is the best canidate. He really feels like the Tommy of his generation.

We don't know Cruger's exact age or the lifespan of the people of Serius. Zordon and Rita both lived to be 10,000 years. So by the time Tommy was in control of Hexagon Cruger could have been considered young for his specious.

Most likely. Since SPD was the continuation of Hexagon....It makes perfect sense for Cruger to be one of its operatives and be mentored by Tommy himself.

After Tommy lost the Hexagon War....He led the remnants of Hexagon to Sirius. Where they started SPD. He returned to Earth briefly to help out during "Legendary Battle".

I don't think Cruger was part of Hexagon or a protege to Tommy at all. The Hexagon influence of SPD was Bridie's faction. Cruger was more of an outsider.

I don't think Cruger knew Tommy personally. He just read about him in the archives and looked up to him as a historical figure. Tommy probably had a big role in bringing SPD to Earth.

Steve is right, Tommy was just someone Cruger respected from reading history. I do think there is a possibility he meant a future version of Tommy a few times. I don't think they had a close relationship. But Cruger definitely admired Tommy.

I don't agree. They seemed to fight tottally differently..I don't think they had any relationship at all. Tommy was just an historical hero to Cruger.

It seemed like Cruger just knew Oliver as an important historical figure. And felt it was an honor to fight with him.

SPD was created on Sirius. Tommy had nothing tondo with it. I think it was more likely Cruger was Tomny's age or even older.

It would be pretty cool if this was the case. It would be a nice connection between MMPR and SPD. I think it would make a lot of sense as well. Cruger did fight like Tommy as Shadow Ranger.

Its more likely Tommy met up with Cruger at somepoint and the dog taught him a few things.

SPD started on Sirius. Isnia was likely Cruger's mentor. I don't think Hexagon formed SPD since it was started on Sirius. I do think they infiltrated it once it got to Earth. Tommy was already retired by the time of SPD.
