Tanya spent years in an african village, yet she quickly adjusts to life as a teenager in the states. And does so while having to learn to be a Ranger. Don't you think this was done too easily?

The Zeo Crystal gave Aisha a new family history in Africa. Tanya was given a history of growing up in Angel Grove. Just not as a Ranger. The production just didn't bother to make sure she was in western clothes.

She was born in the states so at least had some idea of what life there was like. She also had Adam to be her guide. Tanaya did go through a transition period to learn to become a Ranger. So its not like she just acted like it was all natural.

Tanya had a lot of of her friends helping her. She must have been amazing though, since she had to live with Kat. Who no doubt tried to make sure she learned all the wrong things. Luckily she probably moved in with her parents once she found them. Plus Adam really did a good job teaching her. He protected her from Kat's influence even if he didn;t realize it.

I did find it a bit odd that she fit in so easily. They did seem to make her somewhat vulnerable in the beginning. Especially with how to deal with Shawn. She also was so out of the loop she didn't know who Babe Ruth was. Which may seem like a petty thing to bring up. But almost everyone at least knows he was a great baseball player.

Tanya was a smart young women. Plus she had a great group of friends to help her out.

It was way too easy for her to adjust to life in the states. It was like that plot point was dropped after a few episodes.

I think she was just a smart capable woman that was able to adjust quickly. Aisha made a good choice to replace her.

What? Why would she do that? Kat I mean....

Don't mind Kim. She has this obssession with Kat being evil and never listens to reason.

She only cared about herself.

They really missed out on a lot of interesting storylines that they could have done with her. Instead they turned her into just another Yellow Ranger.

I agree, they dropped the ball by making Tanya just another Ranger. Her only great moment was standing up to Shawn.

The Zeo Crystal helped to adjust Tanya by given her some new memories for the altered timeline. Aisha got the same. I do think Tanya was still a new student at Angel Grove to everyone else around her.
