Tommy Hogging The Spotlight

This another idea that is bugging me. Why do people think he hogged anything? Tommy was the main character for a time. But it was only a few years and because he was the most popular characters. The White Ranger was super strong in season 2. But he wasn't around that long. Tommy wasn't as super powerful after that. Tommy in DinoThunder definitely didn't overshadow anyone.

I agree that it is silly. Tommy got a lot of focus because he was the best character. And people wanted to see the Tommy and Kimberly romance. They also wanted to see Tommy kick but. People fell in love with him after he lost his powers and worked hard to get them back. Tommy was a great Ranger. And continued to be a great leader in Zeo and Turbo. The show lost a lot when he left. Tommy was also the only thing keeping DinoThunder from being another mediocre season.

I never really minded Tommy . As a matter of fact he was one of my favorite characters when he was on the show. He hasn't been on the show in years so I can't say how he overshadowed anyone. Although, I bet Jason was mad that he lost his leadership position lol.

The White Ranger stuff did get a little much in season 2. But Season 3 White Ranger was far more tolerable. His run as Green Ranger was perfectly done. Tommy was fine in Zeo and arguable should have got more focus. He did seem a little long in the tooth during Turbo. But that was more due to Justin overshadowing the old team. Tommy in DT, was perfectly done.

Tommy's the best. He was never got too much focus. Why would we want to see less of Tommy? He was the best Ranger ever. I wish Tommy stuck around even longer. I was glad to see him back in DinoThunder.

Tommy did get way too much focus at times. I liked him....But it became a little much after awhile.

Of course he got a lot of focus. He was the star of the show. Plus with all the trials and tribulations he went through as Green the fans deserved a reward for going through all that. Zeo actually gave a little more focus back to the others anyway .

I would say it changed in season 3 anyway. Look how much focus Kim got?

Thats one of the things I liked about season 3. Kim had a big storyline. Too bad it was to write her of the show. And then the second half we got stuck with Kat.

I liked the Kat storyline too. Season 3 was quite interesting.

The transition from Kimberly to Katherine was spectacularly done. It was the best cast change the show has done.

Tommy was a great Ranger! I wish he was on the show even longer than he was.

I like both Kim and Kat.

I miss storylines like the Kim and Kat transition. It was good stuff. I don't think people would like Zeo as much if it weren't for all the events of season 3.
