[Dr. Tommy Oliver]

An interesting question about Legacy of Power, the 500th Power Ranger episode. When Tommy made the documentary of the history of the Power Rangers, he completly BYPASSED Countdown to Destruction! Not even 1 mention of all of the villians from MMPR to PRIS taking over the planet! This was a monumental episode in Power Rangers history... :( WHY DID HE DO THAT?!?!??

Thats a good question. Tommy skipped a lot of pivatol events. I guess he meant for the documentary to be shor and too the point. And I suppose ( from a behind the scenes perspective) the writers didn't have time to mention it. It doesn't mean they want us to forget it though.

He didn't mention it for one reason, it showed how much of a failure as a leader he was.

Tommy is shown leading the fight against every villian from MMPR to Turbo.
Andros is shown leading the fight against every villian from MMPR to Space and he defeats them all.

Ethan, Conner, & Kira are shown looking for a real mentor from that point on.

Unfortunately it was a 30-minute episode so they could only include some things from MMPR-Ninja Storm. I'm sure they would have preferred it longer but they were only given the okay for 1 clip show celebrating the past.

A lot of things had been passed over because of time restrictions

1. No mention of Master Vile
2. No mention of the Alien Rangers
3. No mentioning of Trey even though the clip they used of the Gold Ranger was using 1 of his scenes and 1 of Brad's voice-overs.

4. No mentioning of Phantom.
5. No mentioning of Dark Specter
6. No mentioning of Countdown to Destruction.
7. No mentioning of Magna Defender.
8. No mentioning of Karone becoming the Pink Galaxy Ranger.
9. No mentioning of the Blue Senturion.
