They exiled the the pusedo dark moon family for not wanting to be purified by the Silver Crystal. Shouldn't that have been their choice and not forced upon them?

Nah, I'm pretty sure those rebels were out for trouble and would have destroyed the city if they could.

I think you are reading too into this. Sailor Moon is a good guy. She would never do something bad like be a dicator. Obviously the rebels posed a threat to the kingdom and the freedom of everyone else.

I believe in the manga , Pharaoh 90 was originally a criminal that spurred the rebellion. So I don't think the group was innocent here. They have have tried to force their own views on others. And just didn't want to live in peace.

I did think the line about them not wanting to be purrified and being banished in the old dub was odd. And did make Crystal Tokyo sounds a bit like a dictatorship . But we can only assume that the rebels gave the Queen a reason to want to fight and ultimately exile them.

Yes it should've been their choice if they were good beings but I doubt they were. Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion never did anything unless it was against villains and I'm sure those beings did something that made the King and Queen believe that they were villains.

Usagi and Mamoru were good people to the core. They would never become dicators or persecute anyone for their beliefs.

i don't think so. At least not based on the dub. Which I almost always go by. Since I like the dic dub the most.

the 90s anime was a lot different since they had to do things even before they knew what was going on in the manga and the dub of the anime back then was also much different

The ancestors of the black moon family were right to revolt. There descendents just lost thier way and took it to far.. Due to the corrupting infulences of Nemesis and Wiseman.
