Some concept art for the second half of crystal has come out. Most notably it includes Sailor Chibi-Moon. Thus confirming the Crystal will adapt the Black Moon Arch in its second half.

Wait a second here... did you say Sailor Chibi-Moon? I thought that was S and not R?
I know Chibi-Usa debuts in R but she doesn't transform until S.

In the manga, she transforms at the end of the Black Moon Arch. She will probably spend most of the episodes as just Chibi-Usa. In the manga she has no sailor powers in the beginning and is a mystery. Since she is a child of earth and the moon. They arent sure if her powers would come out. She is 900 years old and stuck as a child with no mental or physical growth. Which adds to her feelings of lonliness in the future. Im assuming this back story will be used in crystal since they are sticking closer to manga.

That's interesting too bad that wasn't kept in the original anime.

Yeah alot of things got changed. The anime was being made at the same time and only a few months a head of the manga. Plus it was under the control of producers and not directly by Naoko. So their was different visions there.
