I think they should go back in time and continue things from Zeo. Everything else can still exist as one big AU.

I think the new cartoon would be its own continuity. Just like the various Transformers Series.

We would probably get an MMPR reboot cartoon that uses different enough designs from the sentai footage.

I think they will continue the show's canon with original Ranger Teams.
