Would anyone like to see one?

Disney wanted to do a cartoon after RPM but Toei nixed it.

Perhaps they would be willing to have one if the live action still was a thing?

Its all up to Toei. To be a true anime to they would have to produce it. With it imported to North America.

I would love to see an anime that continues MMPR...It could pick up right after the Hogday Afternoon cliffhanger.

I don't know about an anime. But I could see a cartoon someday.

We've already seen that. It's called "A Zeo Beginning, Part I".

Anyway, if PR does go animated in the future, I'd like to see a continuation of PRLR with the cast members doing VA for their respective characters. It could pick up from where the LR finale ended and include the events in "Time for Lightspeed".

Other really good choices for an animated continuation would be Lost Galaxy and Time Force. Those seasons have a lot more to offer than MMPR in my opinion.

She thinks everything after MMPR isn't in canon. We try to explain this but she never listens. I hate mostly everything from NS-Ninja Steel but even I have to admit its canon.

Every season is canon unless it gets retconned but that is unlikely. Some seasons like RPM take oksce in their own demensions. Which is as far as we can go.

I agree. RPM and Dino Charge are set in their own dimension, which has been confirmed in (Super) Samurai/Ninja Steel/Beast Morphers. That's indeed as far as we can go since the PR continuity is as messed up as it can be thanks to some seasons and the franchise's ownership changes. The two mentioned seasons being set in their own universe actually resolves some of the TV cannon issues without messing it up even more. Same goes for the 1995 and 2017 movies:

Main Power Rangers Universe:
Mighty Morphin' S1
Mighty Morphin' S2
Mighty Morphin' S3/Mighty Morphin' Alien
Zeo/Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie
Turbo
In Space
Lost Galaxy
Lightspeed Rescue
Time Force
Wild Force
Ninja Storm
DinoThunder
S.P.D.
Mystic Force
Operation Overdrive
Jungle Fury
Samurai/Super Samurai
Megaforce/Super Megaforce (ssssshhh!!!)
Ninja Steel/Super Ninja Steel
Beast Morphers

Alternate Power Rangers Universes:
RPM
Dino Charge/Dino Supercharge
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie (1995)
The Power Rangers 2017 Movie

We still have to wait for the Dino Fury's universe placement - if that season actually ends up revealing it.

It makes sense that RPM and Dino Charge are their own demensions. But seasons that don't contradict canon don't need to be AUs.

I think some type of animated series would be good as a side thing. You could even do an MMPR cartoon and use Rangers for other teams to have an expanded universe and possible spinoffs. It doesn't have to be in continuity .

Giving the rumors of Hasbro cutting ties with Toei and possibly ending the current series...I could definitely see future PR shows being cartoons.

Looks like it might not be just a side thing.

Would be a shame to see live action go though.

I would love to see an animated show to go with live action.
