I was just re-watching this three parter, which I've always loved, but it made me realize something. While it has the super mega awesome Green Ranger vs. White Ranger fight, the three parter really serves to just make the green ranger look weaker.

To begin with, I was pretty certain Zordon said the White Ranger was the most powerful ranger in White Light. I may be wrong. Also, even though there was a duel, White Tommy was still weakened by the Wizard of Deception creating the clone. Now, did that weakening affect his ranger powers? Zordon did say he would be re-energized but only for a short time. It looked like each time White Tommy fought morphed, he was at a disadvantage from his energy being drained from the creation of the clone.

Not to mention the fact that the Wizard of Deception helped the Green Tommy and just struck Tommy down with his wand. It really just played up that even though we were seeing Green/White fight, White was weakened. I could be wrong, and I'd love for someone to correct me. Was it a fair playing field?

Plus, part 3 has the one thing that people bring up often, and that's that this is the last time we see the Dragonzord with it not being destroyed. It has the same fate as Titanus, the Ninja Zords, Shogun Zords, Zeo Zords and Super Zeo Zords.

Just my 2 cents on it. Curious if others saw the same

You have a point there, I don't believe it was a fair playing field at all since I do believe Zordon's implication with his line is that the Wizard's magic did drain his energy and that it would have an affect on his Ranger state.

A very good point. Probably part of the reason why White Ranger critics got irratated at how powerful they made Tommy at this point. A fair fight with Tommy losing badly at first to ultimately win in the end would have made more sense.
