Hi, my name is Aaron, I have been a huge fan of power rangers since it started in 1993 here in the USA. I am 18 years old and am currently located outside of Chicago. After seeing Tommy Oliver (Jason Frank) on MMPR, I was inspired to join the martial arts and currently hold ranks in 5 different styles such as Tang Soo Do, American TKD, Korean TKD, Karate, and Shorie Ryu (my sensei taught Mike Chaterantabut). JDF is my all time favorite ranger and soon to be instructor. After High school I will to be moving to California to train with him, what a dream come true! (www.risingsunkarate.com). My question to start off, who else here has joined the martial arts because of the rangers, I'm positive I am not the only one here. I will be looking forward to hearing from you all. "Let the power protect you!"

Welcome to the board. You sound like a great person. Don't act like Homer or go galactic, and I'm sure we'll get on fine:)

As for martial arts, well I'm thinking about starting thanks to JYB (Adam). I want to be as good as him.

Hi, welcome to the gang!

I started Judo about 5 years ago, mainly because of Rangers. I haven't been for the past few months because of other commitments (5 AS levels isn't a picnic!) and I'm not exactly the sporty type either so it doesn't come easy to me. and I'm not that high ranking. Well, hey, I tried...;)

I was the youngest person ever in my dojo(I was 8 years old) and I made it to 2nd degree brown belt in karate. But due to certain living arrangements, O was unable to complete the class. Watching Power Rangers has always inspired me to go back and obtain that Black Belt and that's what I'll start doing before the year is up. Rangers such as JDF, Austin St. John, JYB, and Chad(i'm too lazy to look how his real name is spelled) have been my top inspirations. Tai Chi will most likely be next on my list. I better get on track soon if I'm gonna audition for the series...

Even if power rasngers did fad, I will always be involved in the martial arts, and in a few years I will be making a huge dedication to them in my professional wresting career, my first persona is going to be based off the ninja rangers and the green ranger, so no matter what happens in the future, power rangers and the martial arts will always be a part of me.

The fact that I haven't even started martial arts yet, just shows how wrong you are go galactic.

You probably put anything that people do, down to a fad. Just because people do martial arts and like Power Rangers at the same time, does not mean they are "victims". Basically, shut your mouth, as @#%$ isn't supposed to come out of that hole you know.

Go galactic, shut your mouth. You just trying my life for a day, with all my commitments and everything, then tell me that I left judo because it was only a fad.
