What if MMPR1 ended with doomsday

What if season 1 had ended with the rangers sealing rita away and winning.

Tommy doesn't even get to be the Green Ranger again, the Rangers switch to Dairanger suits because a new villain arrives (possibly still Lord Zedd), Zack becomes the Green Ranger and Tommy returns as the White Ranger later in the season. Oh and Jason, Trini and Zack probably leave sometime around 40th episode of season 2 (assuming the extra 20 episodes of season 1 didn't happen). Maybe they even get a proper write-off - with the actors and stuff.

Then maybe Saban would have tried adapting DaiRanger as something else.

The Metal Hero series were divided up like that. Three of them were sued for VR Troopers while two of them became Beetleborgs and Beetleborgs metallix.

None of Saban's toku adaptions ever got conclusions once the source footage ran out.
We wouldn't have gotten a proper conclusion either unless they went with the original storyline of having Rita and co sealed again and the Zyuranger character Kai being adapted as "Bubba."

Regardless you can play Doomsday the exact way it aired just with the original intent of Jason reciting the incantation and sealing Rita away and it would play like a series finale.

Even before I knew Doomsday was meant to be the end, I was suspicious with Zordon giving the Rangers an option to remain Power Rangers or retire, the highly raised stakes, and the Rangers being celebrated in front of the entire city.

As things played out we probably see the show come back in season 2 with much the same stratagy. I assume they find a way to bring Tommy back then given his popularity. Maybe even making him the White Ranger instead of getting his Green Powers back first.
